Just had the extremely Texas experience of a cop (literally in his cop car) flipping me off then brake-checking me for “only” driving the posted speed limit in the right lane, instead of driving the socially agreed to 15mph over the speed limit on I-35.

I genuinely want Peter to have like a story that’s all about him healing as an adult. Not completely, that would take forever but like finding someone he can feel normal with, a desire he constantly complains about in almost every iteration. Someone who he can do normal things with that is also helpful if not supportive of his life as Spidey (You can tell I really liked Chat)

He wants a life he can truly live and it would be nice to have an issue have that as a subplot. Whatever Spider-Man is doing is completely separate from what Peter has going on. His partner, friend, whatever, gets he practically has two separate lives and is truly patient. They would wait for him after a scouting or fight. Be okay with less lavish planned dates and get he is going to miss things. They signed up for this when dating a hero and they understand it.

Peter deserves for once to have someone consistently and overwhelmingly be in his corner. To be ready to sacrifice like him but at the same time remind him that he is Peter before he is Spider-Man, not only for them but for himself.

Something interesting I learned is that here in Illinois, if the weather gets real bad and snowy, they just SHUT THINGS DOWN? Like stores close and stuff???? Wow that's pretty cool, like, in Idaho, they wouldn't even shut the schools down in a blizzard unless the buses physically could not drive through the snow drifts. And stores and stuff NEVER shut down. They expected you to trek through two feet of snow to get to your shitty minimum wage job, no excuses.

One winter, the snow was so bad and so thick, and the temperatures so low, my dad had to come save me from my house in his tractor because nothing else could get down my lane. And my partner's boss still expected him to get to work on time lmao fuck that guy I hope he's dead now

But here, they get a little bit of snow on the ground and everyone is like "better not risk it, see you next week".

Summary:

I got the cutest little lamb tattoo on my calf last week and the way it’s healing is absolutely adorable. Plus I want a little two head calf on the other calf. She wanted to do some colors and white highlights and it always makes me nervous with the white because I’m so dark and I hate going through the pain just for my melanin to suck it up but most of the white is still there.
