#some fics are what i call fandom defining. meaning i think they had a significant and lasting impact on the fandom they were written for #this fic. that's fandom defining #here are the boring details: #it's a massive A5 sized book #the pages total nears 400 because i have included a section after the epilogue with all of the related prompts from Imagine Me & You #it feels sturdier than my first book and i changed my sewing thread so it's also easier to read ! #i did the whole cover using the geometric lasso tool in csp bc i didn't feel like drawing with the tablet and i think it was a good decision #if only i could get better at gluing the covers on straight #i spent the whole night working on it and watched the entirety of reanimator & bride LOLL #also my printer was going through it. i had to change the ink midway through and redo it all over again #lastly #I love love LOVE this fic #book-binding #my art #re-animator #danbert

hey gamers, so in the past months i kind of phased out of playing yi xian (and got obsessed with gujian3 instead lol) but someone brought it back to my brain so I fired it up to check whats new and the new characters (I kept up to date with the news on steam even though I wasn't playing lol) and,,,, weary sigh,, the brainrot is back hsdjhks so here

anyway cloud sword sect keeps on winning baybee!! the new character is so cool I love Lu Jianxin 😭💜 easily my new second place favourite sjdhk the mechanics of magically forging the sword throughout the battle is so so so fun

ok anyway!!!! the ultimate title for getting most dao points with Mu Yifeng is literally "shixiong" sdhaks and SO TRU HE IS THE ULTIMATE SHIXIONG 💕💕 tea shixiong ftw

And now segway to our other new character Wu Ce! and not gonna lie I am entirely making all their lore (aside from what we know from the first lore entry) up because I suCK ASS at heptastar. my brain is tiny. so I am never leveling them up enough to get to know their story hasdjk

but like listen. i know its most likely that after they got set up by the generals they disappeared off to heptastar to chill like that but.. listen theyře a schemer, you cant double cross your war strategist and then get out scot-free so I think Wu Ce should snap and spitefully cook something up as a revenge before dipping out. ykno as a treat

(if anyones curious and read this far and wants context, all that is known from the first entry is that Jiang Ximing (white hair, heptastar) taught them when they were younger and gifted them the star moon folding fan. Wu Ce then grew up to be very talented in astronomy and scheming. they then become a war strategist and are very successful which causes their superiors to grow jealous of them and the superiors set Wu Ce up. Wu Ce disappears after that and its implied that that's when they joined heptastar pavilion)

so yea they very cool 💜💜 but my brain is so so so small 💔💔 i cant even figure out how to play as normal heptastars nevermind their absolutely convoluted 40 steps schemey cards hsajkdh

also last thing i just realized that the new game cover that they switched to for the season of wind in game has the three new characters that they added in the corner! and that I wildly misjudged the length of Lu Jianxin's hair ghdjashgdjsa

also speaking of hair, heres MYF model because look at the absolute lengths hsjhdsjdhks icon icon icon (also pls appreciate the detail that his robe coattails are made so he matches the swallows of the mountain 🖤🖤)

my bff bought a cheapo tattoo gun and insisted i tattoo them for their bday despite me insisting they should uhhhh maybe pay a real tattoo artist who knows wtf they're doing? But i guess the experience is sometimes more important than the art itself, plus it didn't turn out absolutely terrible (not pictured bc it's very much not finished yet). more thoughts about the lmk and hollow knight au thing because im going insane rn.

ANYWAYS LET'S ASSIGN ROLES 😇

- the pale king is. obviously. wukong

- the hollow knight could work for MANY different people:

1. MK. He must either contain the ink or his monkey form

2. Macaque. He must contain LBDs possession / influence <- she works really well as the radiance

3. Mei. She must contain the samhadi fire (is that how you spell it?)

4. HELL even Syntax works for this... he has to contain the venom,, spider queen as the radiance,,

5. RED. SON. same thing as Mei w the fire :3

6. MAYOR. YEAH. LBDS WHOLE THING.

7. you know what even Bai He or whatever her name is 😭 so many people to be sacrifices this is crazy

there are probably more that I'm missing but that's my Potential Hollow Knight list

- the knight/ghost could ALSO work as the characters i listed above... ex. mei as the ghost and red son as hollow, mk as the ghost and macaque as hollow, mayor as hollow and syntax as ghost... they're super interchangeable!! these could all work vice-versa too. also if mk was the ghost, then instead of the void it'd either be his monkey form or ink mk. mei / red son would have the fire, etc.

- hornet... if the ghost is mei or mk then it'd probably be red son otherwise ive got no idea 😭

- tang could (possibly??) work as quirrel. either that or cornifer HAHA

- no idea who sly could be tbh

- grimm. Oh Boy. could work as the samhadi fire if you're not using that as the infection already, plus it already fits him,, perhaps he'd be red son (evil red son. consider.) i don't know how the grimchild would work for this though 😭 but dw it's okay i am going to mess around w their roles a tad if this ever becomes and actual au

- idk who the white lady is too actually... she isn't that relevant (?) to the overall plot. i think. i should play hk again jeez

- godseeker. no idea. no one in lmk really seeks out the gods, maybe that'll change in s5 though

- if macaque was hollow, then mayor would probably be the seer

- the dreamers would probably be the 3 rings instead if red son or mei was hollow

- if hollow was anyone other than mei or red son (as mentioned above), the pilgrims would probably be the dreamers (so that tang can do the whole quirrel thing if tripitaka/tang sanzang is in monomon's place) I'm not too sure about how we'd fit ao lie into this though because there's only 3 dreamers 😭
