You’re bored of Seoul.
Don’t get it wrong, you don’t hate the city at all. But Seoul always has something going on. The streets look amazing during the day and night and there’s modern technology everywhere. Everything seems so fancy and lavish. You’re proud of how far the world has come.
Even though it’s incredibly hard to earn a quiet time for yourself since it’s a really busy city and if you want complete silence, you have to block out their own voices. It’s hard to ignore the presence of others when there are loud noises and so many people at once.
However, for you, it’s also the city of love.
You met Juyeon when you both first enrolled into the same college and happened to closely share a semester together due to the duo group work your professor was making you do (and the deadline was well over 2 weeks). Those 2 weeks were blissful, you used to think he was a bit cold and even more so, a bit too full of himself, since he is immediately dubbed as ‘the dancing prince’ and he hangs out with the popular crowd. But your first impressions didn’t matter because he was incredibly nice and polite, and was so helpful when helping you with the project too, be it ideas or just offering to take places in completing the work. And you both ended up getting an A due to the outstanding efforts you put into your work, which you have to thank your amazing partner for.
And after the project ended, he still keeps in contact with you, insisting that you’re quite an interesting individual to know and hope to develop a further friendship. A total lie from him because he later admitted that when you both got into a relationship with the saying that by then, he already liked you and he just wanted to see if he has a chance with you.
 Now back to the present.
It’s Saturday and you both are on a semester break. You live with your roommate/coworker and she’s off to work already, leaving you alone in this apartment as it’s your day off today. You were cleaning up your room and wiping off the dust off the furniture when suddenly you received a phone call. You look at your caller ID and you can’t help but smile when you see who it is.
So you pick up, pausing your cleaning process so you can talk to him just a little bit.
“Hi, my pretty baby.”
That name never fails to flatter you and make your heart jump out of your chest.
“Hey there, pretty boy.”
You think you do a pretty job concealing your flustered face and tone (rightfully, sue him for reducing you into a mushy lover). Otherwise, you would’ve been so embarrassed if he knew he had done irreversible damage to you.
“You don’t have any plans for anything today, right?”
“Why? You wanna take me to one of Eric’s father’s fancy restaurants?”
“Great idea, actually.” He laughs, humoring you along. It’s no secret that Juyeon loves spoiling you. He had a hard exterior, according to all of your friends and you yourself. But when you guys began dating, they were subjected to the PDA between you two and their opinions on him quickly changed because just who is this guy? And plus, he also likes to take you on a new adventure.
Somehow, it makes you feel like a naïve teenage girl who’s dating a bad boy and you always wanted to ask him if he is truly one (even if you know he works part-time as a barista for his parents’ café shop). It’s hard to believe that someone as perfect as him can possibly exist. It’s unbelievable.
“I was wondering if you’d like to join me for today's exploring.” He shyly explains and you can feel his shy smile tugs through his tone. What have you done in your past life to get a guy like him wrapped around your finger? Whatever you were doing, you’ve done it right.
“If it’s Seoul, I’ve practically walked through every shady alleyway. It’s no fun.” You whine, your wet cloth cleaning off the dust is long forgotten amidst the phone call between you and your lover.
“It’s not Seoul. I wanna take you somewhere else.” He keeps it vague and you suspect that he has a surprise for you.
“Okay, let me clean myself up a bit.” You exclaim, putting down the wet cloth and hanging it up to dry from your bedroom (in your defense, it’s not dirty at all. You have a habit of wiping off your dust often and you definitely don’t have enough time in your hand to clean it right now).
“Can you pick me up in an hour and a half?” You ask him, strutting around in your room to go to your bathroom to freshen yourself up.
“You can still show up in sweats and I’d still think you’re the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen.” He says, means every single word of it because he thinks you’re pretty. So goddamn pretty he loses his mind over you and he doesn’t believe that he’s the one who gets to have you all the time.
“Lee Juyeon, shut up. I think I stink. Do you honestly like it when I’m sweating like a dog?” You make a gagging face while you’re putting on your cleansing foam.
“The sweats can’t wipe away your beauty.” His reply makes you want to bang your head into the wall so bad.
 God, he’s such a romantic.
“I’m showering. You can save that sappiness when you pick me up later.” You furiously blush, trying to get him to end the call so you can get ready to go wherever he leads you to.
“I’ll see you later then, baby.”
 And the line is disconnected.
You sulk a bit before putting your device back as you snap back to reality. But you’re also beyond excited where he will take you to today.
So you divert your attention back onto getting ready and hoping that the new things you’ve been wanting to try out will work.
Tumblr media
“You look absolutely breathtaking.” Is the first thing Juyeon says after he comes to pick you up.
You decide to wear a black big cozy jacket, combined with black jeans and white shirt, which goes with his similar casual wear that he chooses.
There’s a spark in his eyes as he scams your whole body. A boyish smile yet so much of a shyness ticks behind that expression. He hands you a helmet, to which you still remember that the particular item is a gift from his dad who bought motorcycle tools equipment as a present for his 19th birthday and that includes the helmet you’re holding in your hand. You check to see if it has been unlocked yet. Once you see that it does, you quickly put it on your head, adjusting it properly before locking it and you gently hop onto the vehicle, excited for the ride.
“Are you ready?” He asks, wanting to make sure that you’re seating yourself comfortably before the motorcycle takes off.
“I’m all done.”
And you hear the engine takes off, as the vehicle takes both of you far away from your place.
The air feels fresher than usual, the atmosphere and the feelings remind you of the old Hong Kong movies you used to watch with your friends as a teenager. You always dream of doing something wild and adventurous to feel the essence of the ‘neon & loneliness’— something that has been used to precisely describe those types of movies. And now it’s like you’re living your dreams out.
If it’s a dream then you don’t want to wake up from it.
His soft woody cologne that radiates from his body all makes you feel like everything is in a daze and you’re the main protagonist of those films that you always loved. How did you get so lucky?
The motor is being driven further away from the city and you’ve crossed numerous luxurious stores and fancy places as you hold on tight to your lover. You’ve seen different kinds of people today; the sad, the happy, the singles, the couples, the divorced, the kids, teenagers, adults and you think you might’ve driven past celebrities by accident too.
Your eyes are trained to watch the road and take your worries off the daily life you’re experiencing today. You think though, instead, it’s making you realize something very precious about life.
People can be in a state of anything, regardless of their age. And they’re diverse, they have something to tell. Behind every person, there’s a story that is waiting for a person to uncover those. Uncover the deepest, best and worst parts of themselves.
You think you’re lucky that your boyfriend is the most gentle and caring person who always brings out the best part of yourself. Never once had you ever felt as if you were held back or restricted from good opportunities. He always encourages you to chase after your dream, while he steadily works towards his goal.
The short breeze through the city now has long escaped. You both are going somewhere unfamiliar, although you’re not sure how exactly familiar he is with where he plans to take you. However, you know better than to doubt him when he is quite literally the very same person with a really great taste in everything.
Your thoughts do eventually come to a stop as he drives to a gas station and by that time, it’s around 3 and a half in the afternoon. The vehicle’s engine is no longer running after he shuts the power off and you know it’s time you get off the bike.
“I’d like to fill in the tank please.” Is what he says. His honey voice, ever so softly, makes you wonder how people aren’t falling for him already. The staff comes to him immediately and helps fill in the gas as per request.
“Do you want to buy something?” He turns to ask you. “Or do you need to use the bathroom?”
“Not really.” You respond as you shake your head.
You both stand while waiting for them to pump the gas and calculate the bill. And when you both are done, he gears up the vehicle to signal that the adventure is nowhere done. You hop on it, excited to see what will be waiting for you.
 You both leave the place,
Your boyfriend’s scent soon lures you to sleep, with you being barely able to open your eyes. It hasn’t been that long that you fall asleep together with him, but you both are somehow always away with the college assignments and personal workloads that are being dumped on you. Having him really close for the first time in 3 weeks does nothing but really makes you want to rest up.
And you think to yourself, hmm, screw that. He’ll wake me up when we arrive at the place.
Then you lay your head and close eyes as you feel yourself drifting further away to the dreamland that has been long awaited for you.
Tumblr media
You woke up once you felt like you were being carried.
You didn’t register it until you felt the abnormality of the said body pillow that you’ve been resting on start moving up and going even gradually higher. It’s only then that you open your eyes, consciousness not fully hitting you yet as your exhaustion keeps luring you to the dreamland. However, since you don’t have such a habit of sleeping when you are being moved around, you try your very best to open your eyes and pray that the sunlight will hit your eyes, although it’s unlikely as the sky beams with the color of soft orange and yellow, like a beautiful fire in flames.
“Ju-”
“Shh, baby. Just sleep.” He shushes you, continuing to give you a piggyback ride. You immediately protest and almost go feral and also, almost cause a disturbance to him too.
“I’m wide awake, you can put me down and I can walk.”
“Nice try, but no.” He chuckles and you can already imagine the most annoying yet such a beautifully crafted boyish grin plastered all over his face. He’s lovely– that’s just who he is.
“But where are you taking me?” You ask, eyes now can’t close on their own as your sleepiness already wears off from talking earlier.
“You’ll see.”
And several minutes later, you both reach a part of a town that you’re sure has never been here before. He seems to be lost, with the way he hesitates to take a step further as he walks.
“But Ju…” You whine. “Can’t you tell where you’re going?” You plead for him to give an answer, you so badly wanted to know what place he will show you this time.
“Nuh uh.” He shakes his head a bit, still insisting on being mysterious and vague with the direction you’re heading.
“But will you put me down? It’s uncomfortable being carried when I’m like, awake.” You complain and he finally gives in, sighing as he puts you down and you almost stumble forward and fall as the gravity feels new to you and if your boyfriend wasn’t there to catch you at all, you’d certainly slip by now.
“Thank you.” You mumble out.
“You good to go?” He asks, offering you his hand to hold as you busk in a new, unfamiliar place together. His eyes sparkle up, light of hope and love, so much adoration stores up in a gaze of his that belongs to a person that you’re proud to call him yours.
You’re losing track of yourself with the way you keep looking at him without a word, like a dumbfounded teenager that has no idea what they should do when they harbor romantic feelings towards their crush. But he lets you, until you gulp down to wet your throat and proceed with the next thing you’re going to say.
“Yes.” You have a dopey smile on your face. “I can’t wait.”
And you both take one step, two steps and more steps forward. Until you get inside the mysterious building.
Your boyfriend is not a man of many words, but his actions are always sincere. When he speaks, he always expresses his love for you.
You can even say that in almost two years of your relationship, you never have to doubt his feelings for you. That’s just how transparent he is. You don’t think you can find a greater love than him.
With more steps further, you make it past the door and you see many abstract arts and paintings being hung, scattered all across the wall. Each frame and piece, colorfully coming together to make a piece of stories that is waiting to be told. The lines that piece it together, asymmetrically perfect in a way that it never seems to be out of place, although if you separate it, it wouldn’t make much sense to the naked eyes that only saw the remaining pieces and never get the chance to witness the beauty of the completion and harmony that lies in the form of crafts that you see with your own eyes.
Similarly, that’s how you feel about your boyfriend.
Not many people know him and you always had the impression that he was rather cold and closed off. That’s how he appears to the outsiders. The description of him from fellow classmates and his friends are drastically different because they never get to fully see what he is like as a person.
A person who is full of love to give to others, the one who dotes on others and is full of adventures.
Life with him is never boring, he brings a new kind of joy in your life. The kind of excitement that is dangerous, but you’ll let him lead you to go anywhere, even if it’s a thousand miles away. You trust him to keep you safe because never once had you been harmed or run into dangers.
He instructs you to stand in front of him, you do so without a question. He pulls out a silky fabric and you already know what he wants to do– blindfolds you for the surprise. You let him as he carefully wraps the material around your eyes in a gentle manner to ensure that it doesn’t hurt you.
“Hold my hand and follow me.” He speaks to you softly and you nod your head. “I want to show you something.”
In a sight of darkness that is hard to break from, you let him guide you. He’s your light amongst all of this and you know he’ll never let you slip or stray away. With careful steps forwarding on the stairs and going up, further and further and then the floor feels smoother without the anxiety of reckoning,  it only takes a bit to finally realize you’re past the staircase.
You feel like time freezes and you’re not sure how much time has passed by, although you think it’s not that much. It’s by far, the most anticipated thing for you.
Then you hold his hand tighter as he takes you in this unfamiliar place.
You’re not the only one with so much adoration for your significant other. Your boyfriend is no different from you.
For Juyeon, being with you makes him feel like he’s in heaven. There’s no greater feeling than your presence around.
You heal a broken part of him that he didn’t know existed until you become the most cherished and frequent presence in his life, which is no doubt, loneliness.
You’re calming, intelligent and intriguing. You’re an open book, but also, a mystery that he wants to keep uncover. He can lose himself in just studying about you and he wouldn’t care. You’re that someone to him who he trusts, with all of his life.
When he inherited a motorcycle as a present from his parents in 11th grade, he usually rode it everywhere alone, even when he had friends. He discovered many fascinating locations, hearing every kind of life story from strangers whom he met on the road when he did his little exploring and witnessed people going through many stages of life. He used to watch people flirting and he wished that he had someone else to share his perspective and sightseeing with.
You came along unexpectedly and stole his heart away. He can barely imagine a life without you now. The things you do to his heart is unhealthy. You’re the sole reason that his burning passion for life doesn’t become something he deeply despises.
The once cold seat of the motorcycle is now replaced by the warmth of you. And he wouldn’t want to have it in any other way.
He has seen many beautiful things that calm and heal his soul, but none of it were you.
He thought beauty lies in the empty roads of complete darkness, or constellations and stars in the sky. But it’s clearly you, who is a Venus personified.
He’s in love and he’s not hiding it.
Which is why he wants to show you this view.
By stopping in his track as he has reach the final destination, he reaches to slowly the blindfold off your eyes, all while tells you to still your eyes closed and only open under his command.
Both of you walk further and further away, with the help of Juyeon who guides you in the desired direction. Cold breeze hits you and you realize now that you’re most likely on the balcony and not in the secured walls of this building.
“Open your eyes, baby.”
You let the light penetrate your vision as the skin that covers your seeing splits apart.
 The view is breathtaking.
The sky turns into a light beat of deep orange, pale blue, deep pink and purple. You see the simplicity, the complexity and something so lively.
You see how the sky slowly turns itself into a pitch black, as the colors start to beautifully blend themselves, creating an unforgettable view that spreads through all across the universe from your own eyes. The wind blows slowly, as if to celebrate the magic of your shared happiness with him, which makes the moment even more unreal.
The lights that hang from there only intensifies its beauty.
You see polaroids of you both together being decorated, some you weren’t aware that the pictures were being taken. There are books and a table for dining that are put together like high end restaurants and you have no doubt that it wasn’t just a one day of work at all.
“Happy 500 days anniversary.” He tells you, hand gently caressing you. “This house originally belonged to my grandpa. He has since passed it down to me.” He states so ever so softly and you’re shell shocked.
“He told me that if I find someone special, I should bring them here. Because this house witnesses how my grandma and grandpa love each other and everyday is always special to them. For a long time, I didn’t understand what he meant because the idea of a lover that exists in a lonely person’s story doesn’t make sense. But I met you, my special person. I want this house to witness our love, too.”
You have tears brimming in your eyes as you listen to him speak further, all while his gaze lovingly settles on you and his thumbs wipe your tears.
“I didn’t know what love was until I met you. When you’re away, I miss you. When you’re sleeping, I wish you’re awake so I can tell you some jokes that make you laugh.”
“Me too.” You lose yourself into the warm brown eyes of his. “When I think about you, all my sadness disappears. It’s cliché, I know. But.. I think I’m so lucky to have you.” You choke on your own silent sob as he presses light kisses onto your lips.
“I’m so lucky to have you too.” He says truthfully. “I never believe in destiny, but I think we’re destined to love each other.”
And under the now moonlight that slowly shines onto you both, he cups your face and kisses you with all his might, as fireworks go off in the sky, as if to be a witness of this beautiful love story.
You don’t care for any of that as he whispers ‘I love you’ and you whisper one back too.

✧ m.list ✧
Best friend in high school can mean, most of the time, first love in high school. Between you and Juyeon it would be no different. Best friends, first love for each other, first time in absolutely everything. It was like that until the end of high school where his family had to move to another country. He always said that he hated this instability of his father's job that had taken away a lot of important things from him - you were, without a doubt, one of those things - and Juyeon knew that keeping something away wasn't the same thing as always being close to you.
University. A year and a half without seeing him and not knowing anything else about him. For the anger – and a bit of childishness you later admitted – you felt that he had gone even though the boy wasn't to blame.
Lee Juyeon was back after two years away. He had changed, his hair longer and silkier and fluttering as the wind on campus beat against his face and consequently made the strands look messy. But even so, he was still handsome. And without having come to talk to you. Reason? Park Deokwan, your boyfriend of a few months.
Juyeon felt bile in his throat every time Jacob and Haknyeon talked about Deokwan and how they found you two. Your friends thought Juyeon might have gotten over you, he thought so too, but that's not what his heart said after seeing you at the first frat party after returning to that university.
You were always beautiful to him, you always left him with his heart racing and his eyes shining just at the sight of your body walking through the blinks of light in that room with the most beautiful clothes he had ever seen you wear. But why was Deokwan holding your hand? Why had he kissed you and you smiled at him? Why wasn't Juyeon there? He was hating to think of it that way, even more when you could see how happy you were. One thing he couldn't do.
“Hey man” Jacob carefully pushed his coffee cup towards Juyeon the day after the party “This will ease your hangover.”
“Thanks” Juyeon smiled and thanked him, drinking some of the dark, sugar-free liquid that made him instantly grimace “Really, Cobie?”
“Do you want glucose?” he smiled shyly seeing his friend agree “Or do you want something even stronger so you can forget about y/n?”
Juyeon was grateful for his instinct not to drink when Jacob started talking, or knew he'd have coffee on the table when he spit it out as soon as he heard him finish that sentence.
“Jacob Bae. Bae Joonyoung…”
"Don't call me that" the other guy defended himself "I'm just telling the truth" he shrugged his shoulders "And if it was a lie, you'd be more concerned with denying than scolding me."
Damn little friend shit, he thought as he finished his coffee. And as he faced that semester watching you and Deokwan in a romantic mood, coffee would be little to put up with all that thing he swore he couldn't.
“I can't still love her” Juyeon whimpered one Friday night, sitting on that lounge chair at his frat house listening to Sunwoo play the guitar.
“Anything is possible my friend” Eric raised his beer bottle in an imaginary toast and smiled “Just as there is a possibility that y/n is only with him now to make you jealous.”
"What?" Juyeon practically screamed. At that moment Sunwoo stopped running his fingers on the guitar string and stared at the two who were looking at each other without stopping.
“Eric, don't talk nonsense and don't give him false hope” Sunwoo tried to warn.
A bit of silence as the youngest sipped his beer, chuckling.
“Hey come on” he finished his drink in one gulp, leaning back from the porch frame and walking to the back door “Your relationship is gone, but my friendship with her has remained intact Lee. And you can be sure I know what I'm talking about.”
Eric really knew. He knew you liked Deokwan, but he was never able to fully surrender after Juyeon. Not that you didn't want to, you just couldn't be in someone's arms and thinking about your first – and only – love.
It was like a betrayal.
But Deokwan hadn't bonded with any of that, he barely knew about his past relationship with Juyeon. Just knew that he was from the circle of friends and that he was new to the university, and since Deokwan liked new friends, it was easy to invite Juyeon to almost every meeting and party. Even though you couldn't face him in most of them, but he was there. The cup in his hand and the rogue smile as he talked to everyone until his eyes met yours.
This was language without a single sound that you had to get out of there or something might happen. Something you've tried to hold on to until that moment.
“Y/n” his voice saying your name couldn't make your legs wobble so much. His heart almost popped out of his mouth and his fingers almost broke the cup of the beer bottle as he slowly closed the fridge door.
“Hi” you tried to look nonchalant with the fact that Juyeon was right there in the kitchen with you. Just the two of them at that party when he could be anywhere else.
“How long” not even he knew how to start a conversation, nervousness was evident as Juyeon ran his free hand through his hair in a failed attempt to hold your ground. Without even a sigh when you finally faced him.
"I think, well… I have to go."
“Are you going to stay with Deokwan? Right in front of me?” his footsteps stopped, simply lacking the strength in his legs to continue on his way out of the kitchen. Juyeon didn't know where so much courage came from saying all that.
Maybe it was the conversations with Eric where he assured you that your feelings for Deokwan were gone. You knew so, you just had no idea that your best friend had just told Lee Juyeon.
“What do you mean by that, Juyeon?” your voice was shaky, pure nervousness as your body swiveled to face the boy who hadn't moved a muscle since he walked into that kitchen.
"I wonder if he knows that I touched your skin" the first step toward you had been taken, you at least moved after he took another step. Juyeon didn't smile, eyes fixed on yours "If he knows you don't love him anymore" by now you knew Eric Sohn had his finger on it, knew he was the big culprit for almost all of Juyeon's courage. Just didn't know I'd be grateful for the next steps.
Juyeon's hand touched your face, the icy fingers made your entire skin tingle and eyes quickly closed as the boy brought his face closer. You should walk away, you should run away and say you couldn't do this.
But a completely drunk Jacob appeared there. The noise of cups falling from the kitchen counter made Juyeon startle along with you, both of you separating to see the other boy apologizing numerous times while looking at you and his friend.
“Shit, I got in your way” he grumbled “Eric and Sunwoo are going to kill me for this, sorry!”
So they told you something, you thought. It could only be since Juyeon knew you didn't love Deokwan. But the question wasn't even that, and yes, how? How could he know something so personal that you had only told – obviously – Sunwoo and Eric.
"I just came to drop off these cups that were scattered in the hallway and—" Jacob looked around trying to find another excuse that wouldn't embarrass him so much for getting in the way of you and Juyeon, but he just couldn't. His drunken brain didn't help him much either.
“How about we get out of here to make Cobie more comfortable?” Juyeon's voice was like a whisper and you wondered how you heard with all that loud music and screaming inside the house. It was clear as daylight because he was still close enough to you.
Your brain wanted to scream no, you really wanted to deny that request, but found yourself with your hand clasped in his as Juyeon walked you out of that party. None of your friends objected to seeing you go out with him, not least because they knew you needed it. Even you knew, you just didn't want to admit to yourself that Lee Juyeon's return had stirred your insides so much.
"What? Where do you think we're going?” finally your voice came out after a while, your hand let go of Juyeon's as he stopped beside his own car. The keys between his fingers and his gaze lingering on you as he interspersed nervous figure and the car that had been unlocked by the alarm.
"To a quieter place, maybe" he shrugged as if that was the most normal thing in the world.
“You're unbelievable” your laugh was a mixture of desperation, nervousness and, who knows, a little nostalgia.
"Why?" Juyeon didn't move, his eyes always fixed on you and the keys still playing in his fingers as his voice became more serious “Are you afraid to be seen with me, y/n? Are you afraid he'll see you here?” you didn't know how to answer that and that's what was scaring you the most. Juyeon then decided to approach, his steps slowly towards you and stopping right in front of you. Now his hands hovered at his sides.
“I know I have no right to say anything…”
"And do not have. Because you left” was a scrap of courage inside you that needed to say that. All that time repressing a conversation around Juyeon's return was happening in the most random way, but you needed to enjoy “You literally went to another country and come back like nothing happened, Juyeon. And I hate you so much for messing with me it's like you never left.”
"Y/n…"
“I don't love Deokwan anymore, that's true” you sighed trying not to cry at that moment. A lot of things inside you happening and crying was the only way out, but maybe after he was no longer in front of you "But it's true that I also hate you for coming back and acting this way."
Walking away from him like that had been more painful than the first time.
Tumblr media
Two weeks locked inside your room and living on fast food and TV movies. Your friends understood and none of them forced you to leave the room, even if the attempts were daily. You were grateful that exam week had passed, or you would have to go to campus, and sure enough, the risk of bumping into Juyeon would be much greater.
In there you were safe. Or at least you thought so.
“Come back here!” the shouts from downstairs were so normal to you if it weren't for the male voice retorting as the footsteps on the stairs became steady and louder.
“I promise it will be quick” it wasn't possible that Juyeon was there, inside your frat house.
“Juyeon, she's not…” your friend's voice trailed off as he opened the door. You, even hearing everything, jumped in fright as you stared at the worried look of the boy in front of you along with the scared look of your friend.
"I tried" she pouted, quickly slapping his arm "Get out, let's go."
"I-"
“You can leave it here” you said.
"Really?" your friend and Juyeon asked at the same time, both in disbelief thinking you would say otherwise, but no. If he was there for something important, then you had to listen to him even if it was the last thing you did.
“I'll be downstairs if you need it” your friend directed a loving look at you, looking now at Juyeon “Hyunjae left his hockey stick here, anything I run upstairs and I won't be afraid to use it.”
She closed the door right away.
“Always so loved” Juyeon smiled awkwardly after a while, getting the first heartfelt laugh out of you.
So… It was the word that always started when the mood started to get uncomfortable, or when neither of them knew what to say. But not for Juyeon. He really had come with a purpose and he vehemently hoped to fulfill it.
“We were meant to be, y/n” you had to hold back your reaction at all costs, but that had taken you by surprise. Juyeon was convinced of what he said as he approached his bed “but a twist of fate made it so you had to walk away, and I know I'm guilty of never having tried anything.”
“Juyeon.”
"I love you" he stopped his footsteps when he got close enough "I've never stopped thinking about how much I've loved you since the first day I saw you walking into that high school" a low sigh escaped his lips, his nose burning as the memory was hit hard "Those glasses that molded your whole face, your cheeks rosy with shame because you thought you had entered the wrong room…"
“I got nervous” you pouted and laughed too, it wasn't painful to remember your first day of school. Because besides Juyeon, you met most of your friends that day.
“You made my heart flutter in a ridiculously cute way” his gaze was so bright you knew at that moment Juyeon was about to cry. You got out of bed to go around the furniture little by little, enough for him to continue talking without getting so nervous "And it hasn't stopped happening."
"You were ashamed to say that" his voice came out as a whisper at that moment.
"I don't care what people say when we're together" trying not to invade your personal space, Juyeon reached up to touch his hand. And in surprise, you intertwined your fingers to hold his hand infinitely bigger than yours "I only care what it's going to be like from now on with the two of us."
Us. You knew that it had never ceased to exist. Deep down, you knew that your heart was always with Juyeon even if it wasn't by your side. And from those lines and everything he had shown, you were absolutely sure of reciprocity.
With your free hand, you touched his face and like almost instantly, Juyeon bent down enough to be with your face at the same height as his.
"Can I kiss you?" Juyeon interspersed his gaze between your eyes and your mouth, the smile slightly crooked as you nodded.
Feeling his lips again was like riding a wave of happiness where you took your serotonin fuel. The way it all fell into place while that kiss was loaded with longing and feelings neither of you could – or would – say out loud. It was just made to feel and you knew how lucky you were to feel it for each other.
Distancing yourself at that moment was only because you needed air in your lungs, because neither of you intended to end that kiss.
“You know,” Juyeon took a breath after a few seconds without kissing you, eyes still closed and his forehead pressed against yours. That quickened breath slowly calming down along with your “I just want it to be you and I forever.”
"Do you want?" he nodded without a single moment's hesitation, you opened your eyes to see him nibble his bottom lip reddened by the recent kiss.
"I've lost a lot by your side and I don't intend to lose it again."
"Juyeon, we…"
"I know you want to leave, I know this sounds crazy because we need to talk and I just walked up to your room just like that” you laughed at how he stumbled over his own words, but that was really true. And not to mention that most likely his friends were pining downstairs hoping that everything would work out somehow “But I want to make it work and I don't intend to go anywhere without you this time.”
“What do you mean by that, Lee Juyeon?”
And with the brightest smile that ever warmed your heart, he leaned in again to kiss your lips and whisper the sweetest words.
“Baby be with me so happily.”

Hi!! Could I request 93 + 100 misc. w/ Juyeon please!
(I am a huge fan of your work😭😭 Thank you sm!!!!!!)
Juyeon + ?? (This kind of turned into a crack fic?? I'm unsure what to label this as, besides them attempting to be sneaky lol) -Thank you so much 😭😭❤️❤️ I hope I don't disappoint you with this haha-
(This is without a doubt the stupidest plan you've ever had. + If we get caught, I'm blaming you.)
Tumblr media
"This isn't going to work," Juyeon tells you for the eighth time.
"Not with that attitude."
Juyeon sighs and continues walking down the hall. You follow after him, trying not to trip over the baggy sweatpants you're wearing. Is it a stupid plan? Maybe. Could it work? Also, maybe, so you're willing to take the risk. Besides, how much harm can it really do? Other than getting Juyeon in trouble and you probably banned from their dorm indefinitely…
No, you refuse to go in with that mindset. You can totally sneak into his room without getting caught. It's late and his roommates have better things to do than wait for him to come home.
Juyeon comes to another stop and looks back at you. "This is, without a doubt, the stupidest plan you've ever had."
"Debatable," you reply.
"You don't look anything like Sunwoo," he says in exasperation.
You look down at the hoodie and sweatpants you're nearly drowning in. You disagree. The outfit looks pretty on point…
"This is how Sunwoo looks every day."
"I'm talking about your build," Juyeon responds like you're an idiot.
"It only matters if they see us, and I don't plan on getting caught!"
Juyeon shakes his head and resumes walking. "Fine, but if we do get caught, I'm blaming you."
"Well, I'm the one to blame, so that makes perfect sense."
Just before you reach his door, Juyeon comes to a stop for the third time and you both sigh. A part of you feels guilty, but he's the one who begged you to come over. Now that he clearly has cold feet, you wonder if you really should just give up before you get in trouble.
"Why don't we just hang out tomorrow instead?" You suggest, losing all of your steam to sneak around.
He pouts, "But I want to spend the night with you…"
"Well, you have to pick one or the other, because you're starting to make me nervous, and that's definitely going to get us caught."
You see the same determination enter his face that got you into this mess right before that sliver of doubt creeps back in.
"Okay, we're not doing it," you decide for him.
"No, let's do it," he counters.
Exasperated, you lift your hands and let them drop. Juyeon stands up straight and places both hands on your arms. He looks you squarely in the eyes. "We've got this."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes… Although, if Sangyeon finds out, I really am blaming you."
You nod and he turns to face the door. He enters the code and when the door opens, you both take a relieved breath when you see that the entrance and living room lights are off. Oh, you've totally got this.
Slipping off your shoes, the two of you quietly sneak into the dark living room. You're sure you've made it until Jacob's bedroom door opens. You freeze and angle your face away from him while trying to stand like Sunwoo.
He observes you for a moment before asking, "What are you two doing?"
Juyeon covers for you while you nod along and look down at your phone so you have an excuse to not look at him. When Jacob goes back into his room, you and Juyeon turn towards the hallway that leads to his bedroom, completely thinking you've got away with it.
As you begin to move forward, the bathroom door opens, illuminating both of you. Hyunjae suddenly steps out before you can hide and pauses in the hallway. He takes one look at your face and then your outfit before busting out in laughter.
Yeah… You're definitely not getting away with it.

rainy days. lee juyeon
[ l.jy x f!reader]
“it’s raining a lot today, isn’t it ?”
Tumblr media
today, me and juyeon had planned to go out for a picnic date, but all of a sudden it started pouring like crazy. so instead, we were forced to stay indoors. i stared out the window as the rain droplets raced their way down the surface of the glass, “i guess we’ll just have to reschedule our date” i sighed, gliding my hand across the window pane.
“it’s okay! we can have our picnic at home instead, don’t be too upset love, at least we’re together,” juyeon said as he walked up behind me, embracing both his arms around my waist and leaning his chin on my shoulder.
ugh my heart flutters every time he hugs me like this. i felt my heart start racing, and so i tried to let go of his arms which were still around my waist (so that he wouldn’t notice my crazy heart beat), but he wouldn’t let go. i turned around to face him and he slowly leaned my back against the wall, a smile creeping up his face.
“juyeon?” i muttered, our eyes locked.
“mhm?” he replied, with that coy look on his face.
he slowly began getting closer and closer until our faces were only a few inches apart . i could feel his breathing tickle down my neck. avoiding eye contact, i looked at his lips and then off to the side. he chuckled under his breath. god i felt like i was about to faint. he swiped his thumb across my bottom lip lightly, making me freeze.. and when i thought we were finally gonna kiss, he moved away.
i had my back still stuck to the wall as if it was super glued and my mouth agape. i felt my cheeks getting hotter, embarrassed by my expectations, with an annoyed expression plastered on my face because once again i fell for his teasing, “seriously juyeon?!”
he laughed dancing and whistling around the room pretending to not hear me. he turned around, winked at me and blew me a kiss, i couldn’t help but burst out laughing. he’s so..

“Welcome to Wingz Express, how may I help you?”
You pulled down your hood as you walked into the shop. The gentleman behind the counter was quite handsome, and more focused on the white cat in its arms. When he looked up at you he offered a smile, standing up.
“What can I do for you?”
“Uh… hi… I was wondering… how much could you give me for this necklace?”
You pulled your fist out of your pocket, holding it out and opening your hand to reveal a small gold necklace. The gentleman asked for your permission to take it and then proceeded to do so. He examined it for a moment up against the light and then handed it back to you, checking under the counter display case for something.
“So, tell me, why’s a pretty thing like you selling something so pretty.”
“I just need the money…”
“What for?”
“Nothing bad!” You quickly remarked. “Just for school… I need new books for the semester and… I don’t really have any other options.”
“I see.”
The gentleman got out a scale, turning it on and testing it out with a few other jewelry pieces. As he did that the door opened, a bell ringing to signify there was someone new entering the shop. You looked over to see another guy with a cap walk in, and before the shop worker could say their greeting he spoke.
“I’m back.”
“Welcome back, Hyunjae.”
“Oh, what do we have here?”
This Hyunjae gave you a smile before going behind the counter with the other, looking around for the item in question. Although you still had it.
“May I?”
The other held his hand out to you, and you handed over the necklace. He put it on the scale and noted down its weight. From there Hyunjae grabbed it and began examining it.
“So, how much are you looking to get?” The worker asked.
“Juyeon-”
“I’m not talking to you right now, Hyunjae.” Juyeon cleared his throat and smiled at you. “How much do you need?”
“Uh… if I could get a few hundred… that would be fine… although I don’t think the necklace is worth that much…”
“Well you’re in luck.” Juyeon grabbed the necklace, holding it up. “The craftsman ship on this is quite unique, the weight is decent, and it seems to be 14k, so I can give you about six hundred dollars.”
“Six… six hundred?”
“Too little?”
“I… no… if that’s what it’s worth… I had no idea…”
“Whoever gave this to you must have really cared for you.”
“I guess… it’s the only thing I have from my birth parents… before they passed away…”
“Oh, something with this much sentimental value… are you sure you want to-”
“I need the money for school… it’s okay…”
“If you say so.”
Juyeon grabbed a sheet of paper and pen, sliding it over to you. He asked for you to fill out your personal information, as they needed physical records of all transactions. He stepped away for a moment to get the money, counting it in front of you so you’d have no doubts. As he handed it over to you he kept his grip on it, confusing you. He reached into his jacket pocket and held out a business card for you, which you hesitantly took.
“What’s this?”
“If you need money, it might be better to get a job. We also run a delivery service and are always looking for new people.” Juyeon let go of the money. “Just a thought.”
“Thank you…”
You politely bowed your head and made your way out of the shop. Juyeon watched you every step of the way until you were out of sight. When he looked back he was met with Hyunjae’s death glare.
“What?”
“Six hundred dollars? Seriously? How much is that necklace actually worth?”
“About a hundred.”
“Juyeon!”
“What!”
“Sangyeon is going to kill you.”
“He can try.” Juyeon looked down at the paperwork. “Let me know when she calls.”
“You mean if she calls.”
“When.” Juyeon corrected. “She’ll call.”
“And how can you be so sure?”
“Cause I’m gonna make her mine.”
❤
You went to the shop early in the morning the day before classes started. You made it back to your dorm, ignoring the boxes you needed to unpack and just collapsing onto the bed. You were grateful you had gotten some money, hoping it’d be enough for books. Your stomach growled and you could only whine. You had two meal passes per day, and you’d rather save those for lunch and dinner. For a moment you thought to spend some of the money you had on breakfast, but you quickly shot the idea down reminding yourself you had to save every penny. After some more lounging around you heard your roommate come in, reminding you that you needed to unpack and get ready for the semester.
After the first week you had all necessary materials, and a few bucks left over. You kinda wanted to treat yourself, but you knew you shouldn’t be spending so recklessly. You’d spend your time in the library, working on assignments, or in your dorm. Even though you wanted to go out, even when classmates invited you, the only option you had was to stay in your dorm. It sucked, but you were used to it by now. Especially the morning hunger pains. Which were way worse after pulling an all nighter.
You laid in bed the next morning, telling yourself you had to get up. You went about your morning routine, getting your things and when you put your phone in your pocket found a business card. For a moment you questioned it, but seeing the name on it reminded you where you had gotten in. The shop worker told you it would be best to get a job, and that they were hiring. You weren’t sure if you’d be able to do it though, considering you’ve seen a lot of delivery workers dropping off big heavy boxes. Not to mention the fact your schedule was all over the place.
Then again you could do late evenings but you’d sacrifice sleep in the process. You groaned as you debated this, unsure what to do. In your current situation you were just getting by, staying at a constant with no real movement upwards. You were okay, but you could be better. Some money in your pocket would probably make you feel less anxious. Since you still had time before your morning class you decided to call on your way over, hoping to get some information and go from there.
“Hello, Wingz Express, how may I help you?”
“Hi… I was calling to ask about your open positions.”
“Open positions?”
“Yes. One of your employees from the shop gave me a card, I believe his name was Juyeon. He told me you were hiring.”
“Ah, yes. So, what do you want to know?”
“Well, I was curious about the pay? Does it depend on the department or-”
“Thirty.”
“…” You stopped in your tracks. “Thirty… what?”
“All the work is basically the same, so I’d be paying you thirty an hour.”
“Thirty… an hour?”
“Is that not enough?”
“No! I mean, that’s great. Although, I’m a uni student so I could only really work late in the evening.”
“That’s fine. A delivery service is available 24/7 so that’s no problem. When can you start?”
“… just like that? No interview or background check.”
“It’s a delivery job, don’t need much, just you.”
“Oh… okay then…”
“You think you could come by later today? I know where I could put you.”
“Yeah, yeah I can do that. Does seven sound good?”
“Works for me. Can I get your name?”
“Y/n.”
“I’m Sangyeon, the owner. I’ll text you the address for the warehouse and when you come over ask for me.”
“Got it. Thank you.”
“I’ll see you later.”
When the call ended you found yourself staring at your phone. You easily got a job, and it paid very well. For a moment your heart fluttered with joy but then you thought about it. If it paid this much, and they were hiring, there had to be something wrong with the job. That killed your mood a bit but you told yourself it wouldn’t hurt to check it out. Besides, they were expecting you now so it would be rude not to show up. You put it all to the side for now focusing on your classes. You had an early lunch before catching a bus and heading to the warehouse. It seemed pretty empty, so you began to worry you were in the wrong place, but you saw some trucks with the Wingz Express stamp on it in the loading dock, giving you some reassurance.
You then saw a few people walking inside the building. You called out to them, but they didn’t seem to hear you so you followed them inside. It looked how you’d imagine a delivery service would have their warehouse stocked, rows and rows of items going up to the ceiling. Still, you didn’t see many workers around. You were starting to think this place was fairly new, it would explain why the pay was so high, they needed people. You cautiously walked around, looking for another employee, but it wouldn’t be long before you were called out.
“Ya! Stop right there!”
You turned around to see these two gentlemen walking over to you, concern on their faces. You merely offered a smile, trying not to be nervous.
“Hello.”
“What are you doing here?”
“I’m the new hire.”
“New hire? Seriously?”
“Uh, yes. I spoke with the owner on the phone and he-”
“Sure you did. Look, you seem nice, so why don’t we escort you out.”
“What?”
“We have no problem dragging you out if necessary.”
“But-”
“Guys!” A third voice boomed. “What is going on?”
“This girl says she works here. That she spoke with you on the phone.”
“I did speak with someone.”
You looked back to see who you believed to be Sangyeon approach. He came up to you with a smile and held his hand out to you.
“You must be y/n, it’s a pleasure to meet you in person, I’m Sangyeon.”
“Hi, it’s nice to meet you too.”
“I’m glad you found the place, now let’s go to the office and get all the paperwork sorted.”
“Wait, why didn’t you tell us that-”
“It’s fine. Just get back to work you two.”
You followed Sangyeon to the office at the back of the warehouse. He brought out some papers for you to fill out, getting you a hat and vest as well. Afterwards he showed you around the warehouse, telling you about the company. They had been around for a while and as you suspected, only recently set up a location in this area. They pretty much delivered everything to anyone, so their services were sought after.
“I don’t expect heavy manual labor from you, so I’ll be partnering you up with Younghoon.”
You went over to the docks, Sangyeon introducing you to your new partner. He was happy to meet you, giving you a big smile as he shook your hand.
“Welcome to the team.”
“Thanks.”
“I expect you to take good care of her.” Sangyeon commented. “And show her the ropes.”
“Of course.”
“Alright, be safe, and let me know if anything happens. See you both later.”
Younghoon closed up the truck and playfully offered you the keys, but said you didn’t know where to go yet. You also mentioned you didn’t know how to drive which he assured you wasn’t an issue as no one really did deliveries alone.
“So, what’s up with you?”
“Huh?”
“Sorry, I worded that weirdly. Tell me about yourself. What do you do with your time, why the job?”
“Oh… well I’m a university student, and I need the money for my expenses… and to pay back my loans someday.”
“Your parents won’t help out?”
“I don’t have any…”
“Oh, my bad.”
“It’s alright. I was in foster care and did grow up in a nice home, it’s just… different…”
“You still live with your foster parents?”
“No, no, I live on campus in the dormitories. It feels more like my home that way.”
“Look at you, miss independent.”
You giggled. “I try.”
“Well, getting a job is a good step.”
“Thanks.”
You arrived at an apartment complex, going with Younghoon to get the delivery items. You had multiple deliveries in the building, and it would go faster with two people. Younghoon pulled out a small cart, handing you these paper bags with numbers on them. He got another cart and did the same, the two of you taking one and making your way inside the building. He gave you a list, and certain floors to attend to, as well as a walkie to keep in touch with, telling you the numbers on the bags corresponded with apartment numbers. You just had to place the bag in front of the right door and take a picture of it, followed by ringing the doorbell and moving onto the next. Pretty simple.
You did this with a few other apartment complexes, returning to the warehouse in the early hours of the morning. To your surprise you could hear music and cheering coming from inside. Younghoon seemed to know exactly what was going on and had you follow him. You saw a bunch of boys gathered around two others in forklifts, they were gonna race. Sangyeon noticed the two of you and came over. Younghoon told him everything had gone well and all deliveries were made. He was happy to hear, asking you how you felt with the work. It was good, and you were glad to help.
“You should stick around for the race.”
“I don’t think I should.”
“It’ll be fun. You can place your bet too.”
“I don’t really have money to bet…”
“Then how about this.” Younghoon suggested. “You bet an hours pay, and if you win, your paycheck gets doubled. You should have some fun with us too.”
“Uh…”
“It’s not much to lose.”
“Sure. I’ll play.”
If you were gonna keep this job, you should make an effort to get along with your coworkers. You joined in the crowd, going over to the front, and being told who the racers were. One was a gentleman by the name of Sunwoo, and the other Chanhee. You didn’t have much to go by so this was truly a gamble for you. In the end you put your money on Chanhee, and then the race began. The gentleman from the shop, Hyunjae, went up to start the race, doing a count down and dropping the flag. It was easy to get caught up in the energy as you watch the two go around the warehouse, and you were overjoyed when Chanhee crossed the finish line first. You screamed in joy and jumped into Younghoon’s arms. He spun you around until you came back to your senses and apologized.
“Congrats to you.”
“Sorry, I didn’t…”
“It’s okay, you were excited.”
“Y/n.” Sangyeon called. “Let’s get you your money, follow me.”
You went with Sangyeon to the office. He gave you a check for your first shift, and your earnings from the bet in cash. You kept yourself together as best you could, but it was hard to hide your joy.
“I’ll see you tomorrow.”
“See you then.”
You returned to your dorm, tired but satisfied. A bit of a burden had been lifted off your shoulders. You cleaned up and went to bed. Even though you wouldn’t get much sleep you had the peace of mind that everything would be alright. In the morning you even treated yourself to a yummy breakfast before class. You went about your day with a slight skip in your step, and happily returned to the warehouse in the evening. While you made your way to the office you heard a honk and one of the forklifts came over to your side. You recognized the driver.
“Hello, I don’t think we got to properly meet last night.”
“Hi, I’m y/n, a new hire.”
“I’m Chanhee, your lucky charm.” He chuckled. “You made the right choice last night.”
“Thanks for winning.”
“It’s all skill. We should hang out sometime outside of work.”
“If I have the time.”
“Then keep me in your thoughts.”
“Y/n!” You heard Younghoon call. “You ready?”
“Coming! I’ll see you around, Chanhee.”
“Don’t be a stranger.”
Chanhee went off and you went over to Younghoon, going off to work. For the next few days it was the same routine. You went to the same places, and did the same job. Since it was late in the evening going into the morning, you rarely ran into people, although it did happen on occasion. These people usually just said hello, and moved on, but on one occasion things were different. Someone approached you, asking about their order. You were happy to help, and asked for their apartment number. You didn’t have anything on your list, so you used your walkie to call Younghoon and ask him about the situation. He had no record of such an order either.
“Sorry, we don’t seem to have your order. Perhaps you could-”
“Just give me one of the ones you have.”
“I’m afraid I can’t do that. These are for other people. And-”
“Whatever.”
The person just grabbed a random bag off your cart, and you quickly reached out to grab it as well. You were trying to explain this wasn’t for them, but the other party was not letting go. Eventually the struggle caused the bag to rip, multiple items falling to the floor, and a white powder exploding onto you. The other person immediately dropped the bag and ran, causing you to collapse to the floor. You were upset and as you got up Younghoon came to your side, helping you to your feet.
“Are you okay?”
“I guess. Sorry, one of the orders-”
“It’s fine.” Younghoon tried to dust you off. “There’s a small vacuum in the back of the van, why don’t you go get it and I’ll do some cleaning here.”
“Of course.”
You went down to the van and retrieved the vacuum returning to Younghoon as he got off the phone. He thanked you and got to work cleaning up, telling you they liked to operate like ghosts, not leaving a trace behind. He also told you not to worry about the order that was damaged, Sangyeon was already taking care of it. You continued with the deliveries together, although after a while you began to feel dizzy. You thought you were fine but your legs suddenly gave out. Younghoon was quick to catch you, holding you in his arms.
“Y/n? Y/n, can you hear me?”
You felt strange, as if you were floating on water. Younghoon’s voice sounded so distant, but you were trying to listen. All you could give him was a smile before your body gave out and everything faded to black.
❤
Your head was throbbing as you regained consciousness. It took a moment to register where you were, but as you sat up you could see that you were in the office back at the warehouse. You were relieved to be somewhere familiar, although you were alone. Besides the headache you felt fine, and when you checked the time you saw that your shift had ended half an hour ago. You felt terrible for what had happened, but at least it wasn’t bad enough that you needed to be taken to the hospital. It was getting late and you needed to return to your dorm, but you also wanted to check in with Sangyeon to apologize.
You grabbed your things and stepped out of the office, looking around the warehouse. The place was eerily quiet, yet you called out to see if anyone was there. As far as you knew the warehouse never really closed, so someone had to be around. While wandering around you noticed just how many boxes were stacked in the warehouse. You had never really looked into the type of things Wingz Express delivered, and after today’s incident you were quite curious. The boxes were labeled according to what they had, but you noticed the boxes higher up didn’t have a label at all.
“You should be careful.”
You jumped when you heard a voice, looking over to see Chanhee up on some boxes looking down at you. If he had been there this whole time then he surely had heard you calling for someone, but just ignored you until now. He chuckled and apologized for startling you, hoping down.
“How are you feeling?”
“Better, sorry for what happened.”
“It wasn’t your fault, you were just doing your job.”
“Yeah… so what is it that you guys deliver? What have I been delivering?”
“No idea, big boss Sangyeon takes care of all that. We deliver anything and everything, so who knows, not really our business.”
“I see. I should get going.”
“Right, you have class in the morning. I’ll show you out.”
“I was actually looking for Sangyeon.”
“He’s busy with something, but I’ll let him know you’re alright.”
“Okay, thanks.”
You made it back to your dorm in one piece, feeling a mix of exhaustion and annoyance. People just had to be so dumb and you were sure you’d get a pay cut for passing out on the job. For now though you just needed to sleep and worry about your classes. In the morning you still felt tired, but you had to get on with your day. Although as you were on your way to class you got a call from Sangyeon.
“Hey, how are you feeling?”
“I’m alright. I do need to apologize for last night.”
“There’s no need. All that matters is that you’re alright. If you need anything, you let me know.”
“I will, thank you.”
“Since I have you on the line, could I ask something of you?”
“What is it?”
“I know you don’t usually work weekends, but if you ever have the time you’re always welcome to come by. I could use the help in the mornings and I’d pay you extra too. Which reminds me, I am paying you for your full hours for yesterday.”
“Oh you don’t-”
“I insist. You got hurt on the job and I need to take care of you. I know it’s early so I’ll let you go, but if you can come in this weekend please let me know.”
“Yeah, yeah I will, thanks Sangyeon.”
“Have a good day.”
“You too.”
❤
The weekends were normally your days off. You’d use them to catch up on assignments, or sleep, and maybe treat yourself since you had money to spend. Although you didn’t really have friends to hang out with. At least if you went into work you wouldn’t be alone, and you’d get some more money. So you decided to make your way over to the warehouse, greeted by happy faces.
“I’m glad you could spare the time.” Sangyeon commented.
“No problem. So, where’s Younghoon?”
“You won’t be with him today. I’m gonna have you help Kevin out. Nothing too crazy.”
“Sure. That sounds like fun.”
“I’ll take you to him.”
You followed Sangyeon through the warehouse, going back over to the loading docks. He brought you over to Kevin and introduced you.
“Pleasure to be working with you.”
“Same here.”
“Take care of her.” Sangyeon mentioned.
“I got it, boss.”
“Then I’ll leave you to it. Let me know if anything happens.”
“Will do.” Kevin playfully saluted. “So, I know you’re used to working the evening shift, but I promise the day shift isn’t too bad.”
“I guess we’ll see.”
“Truck’s already loaded so let’s go.”
You made small talk with Kevin on the drive, and the job was fairly similar. You were dropping off boxes to apartment buildings or stores. If there was no one to receive it then you set it down, take a picture, and send a message, just like before. The only real difference was politely greeting people around you. The uniform was simple too, which meant it was easy for people to recognize you.
“Y/n?”
“Hm?”
While heading back to the truck you were stopped by a group of girls, recognizing them from one of your classes. You weren’t exactly friends, but you knew each other to be more than strangers.
“What are you doing?”
“Just… working… I need some extra money so I thought I’d pick up a few shifts.”
“That explains a lot.”
“Huh?”
“Y/n.”
You looked back just as Kevin approached you, seeming out of breath. He placed an arm around your shoulder, pulling you close.
“This was our last stop, so we can go.” Kevin smiled and looked over at the girls. “Ladies, if you’ll excuse us.”
“What’s your name?”
“Sorry, I’m not that easy.”
Kevin pulled you along back to the truck. The other girls followed you for a bit, but Kevin didn’t pay them any attention. As you were on the road heading back to the warehouse your phone started pinning. The girls had your number from previous projects and were asking you about Kevin. Before you could even attempt to answer them Kevin snatched your phone.
“Ya.”
“I thought you were keeping me company.”
“Right, sorry.”
“You don’t need to apologize.” Kevin said. “Thanks for today, you were a big help.”
“No problem.”
“You got any plans for later?”
“No, not really. Why?”
“We’re having a party tonight down at our favorite spot. You should come.”
“You mean a club?”
“Yeah.”
“I don’t really have an outfit for that.”
“Just wear something nice. You should come. Have a few drinks and relax, I’m sure uni must be stressful.”
“I’ll think about it.”
“Would love to see you, consider it a work get together. You’d be able to meet everyone.”
“Uh… sure… there’s no harm.”
“Awesome. I’ll text you the details.”
Like you said, you didn’t have an outfit for the club scene, but found something nice. You were a bit nervous, but to your surprise the bouncer let you in without issue. As you stepped inside you could feel the music shaking everything. The lights were low and people were dancing and drinking in every direction. You glanced down at your phone, sending Kevin a message that you were here. While walking around you wound up running into your classmates from before.
“Y/n? Surprised to see you here, it’s not really your scene.”
“I… I know… it’s a work thing…”
“Oh, then maybe we can join you.”
“I’m not sure if you could.”
Despite the crowd you managed to see a familiar face, Chanhee, excusing yourself and trying to follow after them. You called their name, but you can’t hear much besides the music. Although you stopped when you came across two bouncers, realizing Chanhee had gone into a VIP section.
“Hello, I’m here with my friends and I saw one of them just went through here.”
“Yeah, I didn’t know we were doing VIP tonight.”
Your classmates had followed you and come up from behind, trying to sweet talk the bouncers. You weren’t exactly with them, but if they could help you get in then maybe it wasn’t a bad thing. Although you noticed another familiar face and called out to them.
“Kevin!”
“Y/n, glad you could make it.”
Kevin came over and told the bouncers to let you in, although your classmates weren’t allowed. They started pleading with you, but you weren’t sure what to say.
“Are these your friends y/n?” Kevin asked. “And be honest.”
“Uh… well… not really… we’re just classmates.”
“I see, well, ladies, I’m afraid VIP is invite only, have a nice night.”
Kevin wrapped an arm around your shoulder and led you deeper into the VIP section. You were brought over to a private area, seeing many more familiar faces. You got a simple drink from the bar there, mingling with your coworkers and meeting new people. Although some were definitely old faces.
“Y/n! Oh my gosh, it’s so good to see you.”
“Juyeon?”
“Yeah, how’ve you been? How’s the job?”
“It’s good, and the money has been a great help.”
“See, told ya it would work out.”
“Thanks again for the introduction.”
“My pleasure.”
You danced the night away, having a few drinks too. Not enough to be drunk, but you were a bit tipsy. Come morning things were winding down, and you definitely needed rest. Some of the boys offered you a ride back to the dorm, which you gladly accepted. They didn’t all drink as some were the designated drivers of the night. You cozied up in the back of a car, squished between Sunwoo and Eric, while Hyunjae took the passenger seat and Jacob sat behind the wheel. The drive was smooth, Eric having his face pressed against the glass while you leaned against his shoulder. You were half asleep and couldn’t really make out the voices around you.
“She’s so cute…” Hyunjae mumbled, looking at you through the rearview mirror. “Can we keep her? I know tonight-”
“You already know the answer to that.” Jacob interrupted. “We can’t just keep an innocent person around.”
“Yeah, yeah…”
The peaceful ride was suddenly interrupted as you were sent spinning, another vehicle crashing into yours. The car came to a stop when it crashed against the side of the building. All the windows were smashed and you had cuts from broken glass. You groaned as you looked around, seeing that the others were conscious too. Sunwoo was in your field of vision, talking to you, but you couldn’t really hear anything. Next thing you knew the door behind him was yanked open and he was dragged out. Then someone reached in and pulled you out of the wreck. You were laid on the ground, vaguely making out Haknyeon before passing out.
❤
You expected to wake up in the hospital, or maybe even in an ambulance. Instead you found yourself in the office back at the warehouse. You felt a few aches around your body, and your cuts stung, but you were fine overall. You slowly sat up, Juyeon and Sangyeon both there to tell you to take it easy.
“What… what happened?”
“Minor car accident.” Juyeon explained. “No one was seriously injured.”
“Shouldn’t we go to the hospital?”
“We’re fine.” Sangyeon assured. “But if you feel like-”
“No, no, I’m fine.”
“Glad to hear. Apologies though, we were supposed to take you back to the dorm, but we needed to make sure you were alright first.”
“I understand, thanks.”
“Why don’t you rest for a bit and then we’ll take you home.”
“Yeah, that sounds good.”
Juyeon got up and got you a glass of water. You thanked him and laid down, feeling like a good nap would do you well as you still felt kinda dizzy and tipsy. Juyeon gave you a blanket and tucked you in on the couch, saying he’d come by later to get you and take you back to your dorm. You thanked him and closed your eyes, getting some sleep. You were out for a while before you opened your eyes again, feeling more clear headed. You found yourself alone in the office, figuring you might as well go look for Juyeon or one of the others. You found your things and headed into the warehouse.
You called out to the guys, but got no answer. Before you could try again you heard some noises and followed them. You saw the boys gathered around, laughing and smiling. You were about to make your presence known when you saw Chanhee hold up a gun and cock it. Your eyes went wide, seeing he wasn’t the only one with a weapon. You took a closer look at what the boys were doing. Besides weapons you saw needles, jewelry, and other types of contraband. It was clear you needed to leave on your own, and quietly. You took a step back and wound up knocking something over and making noise. You cursed under your breath, intending to run off only to bump into Kevin. He had an amused smile on his face, placing a hand on your shoulder.
“Look who’s awake.”
“Ha… hi…”
“We were just gonna go get you.”
“Right… I would like to go back to-”
“What’s this?”
The others had come to see what the noise was, finding you with Kevin. You offered the boys a smile, but it was hard to act normal when you saw some of them holding guns.
“Hey… I… I was looking for someone… I need to get back to the dorm…”
“Juyeon.” Sangyeon sighed. “You were supposed to give her a laced glass of water.”
“I swear I thought I did.”
“Well clearly you didn’t.”
“Wa… what do you mean…” You nervously laughed. “I’m fine, and I’d really like to go-”
“I guess we get to keep her after all, Hyunjae.” Jacob commented. “Lucky us.”
“Yes!”
“Huh?”
“Grab her.”
Since Kevin was the closest to you he immediately grabbed your arm which caused you to act. You tried to run and free yourself from his grasp but his grip was tight. Then Younghoon came over and grabbed your other arm, the two of them keeping you from escaping.
“What are you doing! Let go!”
“We can’t do that.” Younghoon said. “Sorry.”
“What about the mission tonight?” Sunwoo asked. “Are we going to postpone?”
“No, it will proceed as intended.” Sangyeon stated. “Those bastards aren’t gonna get away with a stunt like that. And we also need to send a message.”
“Then what do we do about y/n?”
“We’ll keep her here until we get back. Put her in the cage for now.”
“What is that!?” You screamed. “Please, just… just let me go! I won’t tell anyone anything! I swear!”
“We should have made her drink more.” Chanhee said. “Things wouldn’t have gotten so complicated.”
“Probably. Now let’s move.”
You tried to argue some more but the boys just dragged you along effortlessly. You were taken further into the warehouse, coming over to the sortation area. You weren’t sure what this cage was, but you were a bit relieved when you saw it. In order to transport packages around there was this cage on wheels to make sure they were safe. Usually it was stacked high with packages but this time you would be put inside. It was hard to fight back as they locked you in. You expected them to use some sort of lock but instead you watched in disbelief as Kevin bent the metal together. He gave you a smirk and a wink.
“We’ll be back later. So stay put.”
You couldn’t resist the urge to try and break yourself free but the door wouldn’t budge at all. Your mind was still processing what had happened, but the proof was right in front of you. There was no way someone was physically strong enough to bend metal the way Kevin just did, but you were living in that reality. You screamed at them to let you out, but none listened and just walked away, leaving you trapped and completely alone. You kept trying to free yourself for a while, but eventually you exhausted yourself. You collapsed and sat in the cage, contemplating your next move.
These guys were something else, and you didn’t know them at all. Now you were their prisoner, and you were certain they wouldn’t easily let you go. Since it was quiet and you were settling down from everything that had happened, exhaustion was catching up to you. Without really meaning to you wound up falling asleep. You didn’t know for how long you were out, but you woke to the rattling of the cage. You jumped awake and quickly scrambled against a corner, seeing Chanhee grabbing onto the cage and giggling.
“You look good in there.”
“Let me out!”
“Sure, but no running away, okay?”
“Whatever.”
Chanhee bent the metal back, allowing for the doors to be opened. You didn’t bother thinking about his insane feat of strength, but you were certainly surprised to see him holding his hand out to you. Reluctantly you took it, finally being able to stretch properly. You didn’t see anyone else around, so this was your chance. You offered Chanhee a smile before shoving him away from you and running in the opposite direction. Unfortunately you didn’t make it far as you crashed into Haknyeon, who you swear wasn’t there a second ago, and fell to the floor. You glanced back to see that Chanhee was still standing by the cage. Your shove really hadn’t thrown him off balance at all.
“What did I say?” Chanhee teased. “No running away. It’s pointless either way.”
“Please just let me go…”
“We’re going home now, so don’t worry.”
“Really?”
“Of course.”
Haknyeon helped you to your feet, distracting you as Chanhee came up from behind and jammed a needle into your neck, emptying out its contents into you. Your eyes went wide, and Haknyeon held you still. Once the needle was removed you began to feel a bit dizzy, your legs losing strength. You could vaguely make out the smile on Haknyeon’s face as he lifted you up into his arms, carrying you bridal style. You tried to speak, to stay awake, but it wasn’t long before the darkness swallowed you.
“Let’s go home.”
❤
When you regained consciousness you felt a bit sore, but as soon as you had your head on straight your focus was on figuring out what happened and where you were. Unfortunately you couldn’t see much as your surroundings were pitch black. Not to mention your hands and legs were tied together, leaving you with a limited ability to move. So you carefully began to wiggle around, bumping into some boxes. Despite being close to the object, you couldn’t actually see it unless you got really close. Although this didn’t help you much as you had no means of freeing yourself.
A moment later you shake as the ground beneath you begins to move, and you hear the loud roar of a trailer. You were in the back of a truck and being moved to some unknown location. You tried to move around, screaming for help, but you eventually exhausted yourself, deciding to just wait and see what happened next. Since you had no concept of time in that darkness you had no idea for how long you were in there. There wasn’t even a point in trying to remember what turns were made. Eventually you came to a stop and heard the engine turn off. You were left to wonder if you had reached your final destination or if this was just a quick stop.
You heard the sounds of something unlatching, and then you were blinded by a bright light. You lifted up your arms to shield your eyes, taking a moment to adjust. As you suspected you were in the back of a trailer, and there were a bunch of boxes and other pieces of furniture around you. Being able to see it all now, this seemed like a moving truck. You heard voices and saw some of the boys climbing into the truck and grabbing boxes. Although before you could say something Jacob came up to you and tied a gag around your mouth. You began to squirm, but you were powerless in your restraints.
He got you up, getting help from Kevin as they moved you towards the end of the trailer, intending to unload you like the rest of the cargo onboard. You remained restrained as you got out of the trailer, being left with Younghoon for a moment. When you tried to get the gag off he grabbed the rope that bound your hands together, using that as a means to keep you leashed. You looked around, noticing the huge house. They had brought you to their place. All around you could see trees and a long driveway leading out to what you assumed was the main road. As far as you knew this place was in the middle of nowhere.
Younghoon suddenly pulled on your ropes, and the next thing you knew he had you over his shoulder. You squirmed and hit his back, but he seemed completely unphased. You weren’t super light, but even then he was carrying you so effortlessly. You were taken into the house, the others giving you smiles but not saying anything to you. Given the truck and all the items, you thought they were moving in, but upon entering the house you could see it was clearly lived in. This was their home. You were set down on the couch, Younghoon pulling out a knife and setting you free. He reached up and took your gag off as well.
“Welcome home.”
“What the hell is wrong with you guys…”
Younghoon chuckled. “Nothing, why?”
“You-”
“Here.” Juyeon came over with a case. “Before you do anything else.”
Younghoon took the case from the other, opening it up and revealing what looked to be a small dog collar. You immediately thought that was going around your neck, but Younghoon grabbed your leg, taking your shoe off and slipping the collar onto your leg. When you tried to pull away he just held on tighter, really unbothered by your actions. He tightened it around your ankle, and then you heard something click. You noticed a green light emitting from the device, realizing it was some sort of ankle brace, and he just placed you under house arrest.
“What the hell!”
“Don’t want you running off now.” Juyeon smiled. “Don’t worry, it won’t hurt you or anything.”
“I’m a prisoner in this house!?”
“You don’t have to think of it that way. This place is yours, and that’s just a precaution.”
“I want to go home!”
“We are home.”
“This place isn’t home.”
“I suppose you just have to give it a chance.”
“Fuck you!”
You got up and stormed off, just walking in any direction just to get away from them. No one tried to stop you, probably since you weren’t actually walking towards the door but further into the house. That wasn’t your intention, but at least none of them followed you. After walking a bit you went into the first open door you found. You closed the door behind you, leaning against it and taking a breath. This whole situation was insane, but they were acting so normal, or as normal as kidnapping someone could be. Now you were who knows where in a foreign house with no escape in sight.
You slid down to the floor, feeling defeated. You didn’t even understand how you wound up in this situation. You were just working for their stupid company and saw something you weren’t supposed to. Then again you were probably lucky to be alive. Most people who learn someone else’s secrets wind up dead, but this wasn’t exactly better either. You didn’t have your phone or any means to communicate with the world beyond this house. So in a sense you were dead to the world. You got up and found a window, staring out at the sky and then looking down at your foot with the ankle brace.
You took a moment to further examine it, but you didn’t see any way to get it off. You really were trapped in this house. You sat back down on the floor, hugging your knees to your chest. You just wanted to go back to campus, go back to classes and be a normal person again. Your situation seemed hopeless, making you tear up, but you had to remind yourself this wasn’t the end. Surely there was a way out, and you were certain you could find it. If you gave up now, then you definitely wouldn’t get out. You took a moment to pull yourself together. This place was huge, but maybe you could find something to use to your advantage.
This would be a process, but you also didn’t intend to be friendly. For the following days you kept to yourself, not speaking to any of the boys, and avoiding them outside of meals. They tried to make conversation and engage with you, but when they saw you were unresponsive they left you alone. You didn’t expect them to just let you be, but you were still glad they did. You were allowed to explore the house as you pleased, discovering all kinds of things. They seemed to have huge collections of expensive and luxurious items. It made sense to have all these things as they did run a pawn shop and delivery service. They had access to so many things.
In that same vein, remembering the weapons, a handful of these items were probably stolen or acquired by illegal means. Seeing all these priceless items made you realize you were practically a living trophy in this house. Another prize they had won, or more accurately taken. It made you feel a bit sick, but you had yet to find something of use. Most doors around the house were open, so you could go where you pleased. Even the boys’ rooms were all open to you, but you already searched them. The room you had given was plain and empty. They told you that you could decorate it however you wanted, but you weren’t planning on setting roots here.
Only a handful of doors were locked and off limits, so you were extra curious about those. By now you had a good idea which rooms you couldn’t get into, so you’d always try to open them throughout the day, hoping to maybe catch one open. It took a bit, but you eventually got lucky. You quickly looked around to make sure you were alone, then slowly opened the door. You quietly listened, trying to figure out if anyone was inside, but it seemed to be your lucky day. You stepped in and didn’t even think to close the door as you realized what was in here. All types of weapons surrounded you. So many guns and blades hanging on the wall, a few things locked behind a cage, but this was what you had been looking for.
Surely something here could help you escape. Although before you could take another step you felt something cold against your neck. You were no longer alone. While you were distracted by your own thoughts someone noticed the open door and found you standing in one of their secret rooms. Of course it was only logical to assume you were an intruder and treat you as such. You swallowed nervously as you realized the object against your throat was a knife. You carefully looked over, seeing Eric gazing at you with a bright glint in his eyes and a cocky smirk. He only pressed the blade further against your flesh.
“Look what I have here. How did you get in here?”
“… the door was open…”
“You expect me to believe that?”
“… you… you think I picked the lock?”
“Hm, I suppose that’s true. So, what do you think?”
“… ah… about what?”
“This room. You must be terrified seeing all this, or perhaps excited. Although I’ll let you know right now, you’re out of luck.”
“I-”
“You better watch it.” Eric growled. “You wouldn’t want to get hurt.”
Eric chuckled and moved the knife away from your throat, although he merely had it ghost over your chest before moving it up to your face, dragging the dull end along your cheek.
“Don’t worry, I won’t hurt you.”
“…”
“In fact, I really want to do the opposite.”
“… huh…?”
Before you could really process what Eric was talking about he leaned in close and pressed his lips to yours. You tried to move away, but he followed, and ultimately pinned you against a wall. The knife clattered to the floor and he pinned your arms to the wall as well. He only pulled away from you when he needed to catch his breath. A big smile adorned Eric’s face as he pressed his head against yours.
“I’ve been waiting to do that.”
“… why…”
“That’s your question?” Eric chuckled. “You are interesting, but don’t you think the answer is obvious.”
“… is it?”
“Why do you think we went through all the trouble to bring you here, hm?”
“Cause I saw too much…”
“You mean all of this? No, no, if we cared for that you’d be dead.”
“Then…”
“Is it really that hard? I guess I should show you.”
“Wat-”
Eric shoved you to the floor, and soon enough he was on top of you, kissing you once more. His hands were at your hips, one slipping under your shirt, making you shiver from the skin to skin contact. Soon enough his lips were against your throat, sucking and nibbling on the skin, starting to mark you up. You squirmed beneath his touch, your hands above your head, moving about when you felt something against your fingers. It was the blade Eric had dropped. You cautiously reached for it, getting a grip on the handle. Just as you were about to make a move Eric’s hand quickly pinned down your wrist, a low chuckle escaping his lips.
“Did you really think that would work?”
Eric placed a chaste kiss against your cheek, keeping your wrist pinned and reaching over with his other hand to take the blade from you. He remained on top of you, using his body weight to keep you pinned. He twirled the knife in his hands, looking down at you with a mischievous glint in his eyes.
“You know, we want to give you everything, and yet how have you acted? You’ve been avoiding us and giving us the silent treatment, and now you break into our little armory. I think it’s about time you’re punished for your actions.”
Before you could process Eric got off you and proceeded to flip you over, cuffing your hands behind your back. He got you to your feet, dragging you along, out of the room and down the hall. Soon enough you were in the living room, avoiding the gazes of the others who were around. Eric shoved you onto the couch and then the tip of the knife was under your chin.
“How do you think we should punish you?”
“What’s all this?” Sunwoo asked. “What punishment?”
“You know, for ignoring us, and breaking into the armory.”
“Oh, yeah, that’s cause for punishment. Not sure about the knife though.”
“Well, I need her to behave.”
“But there’s still no need for such things.”
Sangyeon entered the room, having gotten a message about the show going on in the house. Soon enough the others joined too and he could see how you tried to make yourself small. He didn’t want you to be afraid, or feel threatened by them, so seeing Eric playing around with a knife was very much not allowed. He went over to the younger boy and took the item from him, throwing it and embedding it in the wall.
“I wasn’t going to hurt her with it.”
“I don’t doubt that, but why don’t you play with something else.”
“Oh, what does the big boss have in mind?” Hyunjae asked. “I’d love to participate.”
“For starters, we have to set the mood. Jacob, you know what I mean.”
“I do indeed. I’ll be right back.”
“She also needs a party favor.”
“Why that?” Juyeon questioned. “Don’t you think that’s risky?”
“It’ll be more fun, for everyone.”
You had no idea what any of that meant, but you knew it couldn’t be good. There was no point even attempting to run off as everyone was in the room with you. A while later Jacob returned with a small case in hand, giving it to Sangyeon. The eldest opened it up, revealing a needle. You instinctively tried to move, unaware of what the contents the needle contained.
“We’re not gonna hurt you.” Sangyeon assured. “Hold her.”
Kevin and Changmin reached over to hold you still as Sangyeon emptied out the needle into your neck. You did your best to squirm, but there was nothing you could do.
“What is that! What did you give me!?”
“You’ll see soon enough.” Kevin teased. “Now the party favor, right?”
“Give her a moment.” Sangyeon said. “Then she can have it.”
“Have what? What are you guys talking about!”
“Just be patient.”
You cut yourself off before saying more as you began to feel different. Your face was beginning to burn, and you felt this heat overtaking you. Now it was obvious what they had given you, and it wasn’t hard to guess what came next. You couldn’t help but squirm in your restraints, starting to get annoyed by your own clothes, but unable to remove them. You felt rather pathetic too, giving in so easily to the drug, but it was really clouding your head and making everything fuzzy.
“Now for the next part.”
“I call dibs!” Chanhee volunteered. “Come here, baby.”
You were vaguely aware of Chanhee as he approached you, but you didn’t know what he was doing. That is until he leaned in to kiss you. At first you thought it was a normal kiss, his tongue forcing your lips to part, but then you felt something in your mouth, and before you knew it you had swallowed it. That got enough sense in you that you pulled away from Chanhee, immediately coughing and bending over, hoping to throw it back up, but that wasn’t an option. Chanhee placed a hand over your mouth, forcing you to sit back up.
“Don’t be wasteful.”
You were worried about what else they had added to the mix. Chanhee didn’t move his hand away until he was certain you wouldn’t be able to throw up the substance you had taken. You still coughed when you had a chance, but you knew it was far too late for that.
“What did you give me!”
“You’ll feel it in a moment.” Haknyeon giggled. “And you’ll like it.”
“… wa… what does that-”
You inhaled sharply as you felt this wave of energy surge through your body. There was the heat of arousal, but this was something else, something more. You were merely taking in the feeling when you snapped your arms free, having broken the chain of your restraints. You fell from the couch onto your hands and knees, shocked over what you had just done. You vaguely made out the sounds of laughter around you, looking up to see the boys with smiles on their faces. Your head was spinning, and you felt a hand on your shoulder which caused you to act. In the blink of an eye you had Changmin pinned beneath you.
“Feels good, doesn’t it?”
“What… what is this… what did you give me?”
“Power.” Changmin chuckled. “At least now we won’t break you.”
The boy freed himself from your grasp and flipped your positions. He gave you a devilish grin before ripping your shirt open. Your hands immediately covered your chest and then you moved to shove Changmin off you. To your surprise you had the strength to do so, knocking him to the ground. He just laughed, not at all fazed by your actions. You stared at your hands again, seeing the remains of the handcuffs on your wrists. If you were really strong like them now, then this was your chance. Just as you were about to run, Younghoon came up from behind, wrapping his arms around you and holding you in a hug. You tried to break free, but he held you tightly, making you question your own strength and his.
“You may be strong,” Younghoon whispered. “But you don’t match us.”
Hyunjae stepped in front of you, his hands gliding over your bare chest. He stopped over your crotch area, his fingers undoing your shorts and a hand slipping into your pants. You squirmed back against Younghoon, but he held you still.
“You’re supposed to be drunk off love.” Hyunjae commented. “Shall I help?”
“Let go.”
“The surge of power probably overtook the aphrodisiac. I’ll fix that.”
You kept your squirming so Hyunjae opted to slide your shorts down, leaving you in your panties for a moment before having them torn off. You shivered from the sudden cold feeling, trying to close your legs but Hyunjae forced them open.
“Be a good girl now, or else you won’t get a treat.”
You couldn’t say anything as Hyunjae’s fingers ran up and down along your folds, making you hold back a moan. You weren’t knowledgeable in this area, and had little to no experience. There wasn’t much time, or interest in the matter, both from you and other parties. This was certainly going to be a first for many things. You still tried to move away, but the more Hyunjae played around with you the harder it was to think.
“… please…”
“Please what? I think you can still use words.”
“… please…”
“Are you a virgin baby? Don’t know what to ask for?”
“…”
“You are, aren’t you? Oh, don’t worry baby, we’re gonna take very good care of you.”
“I wanna do it! I wanna go first!” Chanhee volunteered. “Please, please, I wanna feel her so bad.”
“You guys can fight for it.” Sangyeon mentioned. “Winner takes all. I’ll keep the doll entertained.”
The boys agreed to Sangyeon’s proposal. The eldest took you into his arms, loving your dizzy little state. Your legs were trembling and you were whimpering over the lack of touch. Sangyeon pressed a kiss to your head.
“You good baby?”
“Hm…”
“We’ll play soon, just let the boys have their fun first.”
“We all still get a turn right?” Juyeon questioned. “Even if we don’t win.”
“I’m pretty sure she can keep up with all of us tonight.”
“Good.”
Sangyeon picked you up bridal style, following behind the others. You were subconsciously rubbing your legs together, trying to get back some friction. The moment of power you had was long gone from your mind, the heat engulfing every inch of your skin. It was getting a bit uncomfortable, but the little kisses Sangyeon pressed against your skin felt nice. In your haze all you could think about was them. Even if you had been brought here against your will they hadn’t been cruel to you in any way. They had given you space and let you roam around the house freely, but that was all about to change. You couldn’t fathom the consequences that would come tomorrow, nor did you care. You just wanted to be taken care of in every way possible tonight.
You inhaled sharply as you regained consciousness, feeling a minor throb in your head. You groaned and pushed your head further into the pillow it was resting on, feeling a dull ache all over your body. Once you got yourself together you took in your surroundings. This wasn’t the room you had been given, but going by the decorations and mess, it certainly belonged to one of the boys. Your questions were answered as a hand draped over you and you saw Kevin laying next to you, still asleep or so you thought. He must have felt your gaze on him, or heard you whimpering.
“Morning…”
You didn’t answer, instead moving Kevin’s arm off you and getting out of bed. Although as soon as you stood up you felt dizzy and collapsed to the floor. You managed to catch yourself, getting your hands beneath you, but you winced from a sudden pain in your left hand. You looked down to see a butterfly tattoo on your wrist, one wing blue and the other orange, wrapped up as it was still fresh.
“What… what is this…”
“You might feel sick after your first time…” Kevin mumbled. “Bathroom’s on the left…”
“Huh?”
You weren’t exactly listening, more focused on the new ink you had, but as soon as Kevin mentioned it you felt an ache in your stomach and then you threw up. Kevin groaned when he heard the noise, mustering up the strength to get up. He came over to the other side of the bed, seeing you on your hands and knees.
“My poor baby, come on, let’s get you cleaned up.”
Kevin grabbed your arm and gently got you up to your feet, keeping you close as he helped you towards the bathroom. He sat you down on the toilet, getting a washcloth and holding it under warm water before using it to clean your mouth. You were out of it after throwing up, feeling unsteady and the headache had gotten worse. You probably figured this is what it felt like to be hungover since you never had alcohol before. Then again you hadn’t been drinking last night, something else entirely had happened.
“I know what will make you feel better.”
After cleaning you up and brushing your teeth Kevin helped you onto your feet again, leading you out of the room and towards the kitchen. The others were already up and gathering around for breakfast. A few didn’t hesitate to place a kiss on your cheek after greeting you. Kevin had you sit at the table, letting you put your head down.
“Rough morning?” Changmin questioned. “She doesn’t look so good.”
“She’s fine, but I’m gonna need to clean my room.” Kevin mentioned.
“Yikes. Well, you choose to take her.”
“It’s whatever.”
You were vaguely aware of all the boys around you, feeling more tired than anything else. You had your arms on the table, and you looked over at the tattoo on your wrist. A part of you still thought you were just imagining things, but the throbbing ache from it told you it was very real.
“Here.” Jacob placed a glass on the table in front of you. “You’ll feel better once you drink this.”
“What is it…”
“Just drink it.”
Jacob helped you sit up, and he held the glass up to your lips. It looked a bit like a watered down blue sports drink, but you parted your lips when you felt the liquid against them, getting a sweet taste and having a few gulps.
“Good girl.”
Your headache certainly wasn’t as bad anymore, so you had no trouble sitting up. Two of the others were finishing setting the table, and the smell of eggs and rice filled the air. You were certainly hungry, but now that you could think straight there were other things on your mind.
“What happened last night…”
“You don’t remember, baby?” Sunwoo chuckled. “Did we fuck you that good.”
“… you… we… we did…”
“You were asking for it by the time we actually got started.” Eric commented. “You were so needy like a bitch in heat.”
“Shut up.” You felt your face burning. “I… I…”
“No need to be shy, baby, we had a good time.”
“I don’t remember…”
“It’ll come to you.” Hyunjae stated. “Just give it a minute. If not, well, I don’t mind jogging your memory.”
“Don’t…”
“Why? You certainly weren’t denying any of us last night.”
“I…”
As the conversation kept going you felt yourself getting nervous. The night must have been insane if you didn’t remember it, especially considering the fact you got a tattoo. You wanted to remember, you had to, because besides the obvious there was something else. You shut your eyes to focus, and when you suddenly felt a hand on your shoulder you jumped, falling out of your seat. That’s when you had a rush of images flash through your mind. Your whole body suddenly felt hot and you remembered what had caused all the aches and pains from last night.
Sangyeon held you close as the others fought for the chance to be your first. He had you on his lap straddling his thigh. He couldn’t help but bounce you up and down, hands on your hips guiding you as he had you gently grind on him as well. It wasn’t long before he had a tent in his pants, but he had enough self control to not act on his own urges. He wanted to make sure his boys still had their reward. You on the other hand were full of sugar, drooling a bit and feeling like cotton candy. You had your eyes shut and head thrown back as you let Sangyeon take control, keeping you so well balanced on the edge. You weren’t aware of the fight going on, more focused on yourself until you felt a kiss on your head.
When you opened your eyes you saw Haknyeon smiling down at you. For a moment you swore he had a busted lip and cut on his cheek but those seemed to fade away right before your eyes. He was out of breath but very happy to see you. He took you from Sangyeon, throwing you over his shoulder and smacking your ass before walking off with you. He took you to his room, tossing you onto the bed. Before you knew it he was on top of you, kissing you roughly and exploring your naked body. You didn’t really feel cold, the heat of arousal kept you warm and now you had Haknyeon to provide you with more warmth.
He had his way with you for a good while, the feeling of his cock sending you spiraling into your first orgasm. You didn’t need much prep as Sangyeon had already got you feeling loose. Another orgasm or two later there were knocks at the door. The winner had gotten his prize so now it was time for the others to have their fun. Juyeon was the one to drag you out of bed, surprised you could still walk on your own. Despite already having a few orgasms you still had the strength and stamina to keep up, although you were more concerned with getting your next high.
You happily went with Juyeon, getting messy with him in his own room. He was excited to show you new things, wanting more than just vanilla sex. Although he wasn’t alone, having Changmin and Chanhee in his room waiting for you. There were hands all over your body, massaging your breasts and thighs as wet kisses were placed all over you. With all that attention you were getting lost in the feeling of pleasure. The only thing that took you out of it was when you felt someone penetrate your core. One after the other stretching you out and making you feel a joy you couldn’t describe. You don’t know how you managed to take on all three of them, but you made it through their endeavors.
The night was still young, and you weren’t done with them. While you lay among the boys, splayed out on the bed, finally getting a moment to rest you felt a hand caress your cheeks. You opened your eyes to Kevin coaxing you awake. He took your hand and pulled you out of the giant cuddle pile, asking if you were having fun. By then words were difficult, but the smile on your face spoke for itself. You two danced around the hall since you were starting to get uneasy on your feet. You were probably heading over to Kevin’s room, but your arm was suddenly grabbed and you were yanked into Hyunjae’s arms. He had started you off early that night, and it was about time he finished that up.
His fingers trailed along your sloppy center, feeling just what kind of mess you had between your legs and eager to add to it. Of course Kevin wasn’t just going to let him have you all to yourself, shoving the two into the nearest bedroom, getting out of his clothes in the process. Everyone’s kiss was unique, some gentle, some rough, some desperate and hungry for you. Hyunjae was the first one to add to the festivities, tying you up against the bed and limiting your movements. You were already feeling sore, but he wasn’t going to let that stop him. While Hyunjae continued to play with your sloppy cunt Kevin was preparing something else.
You felt him trail his fingers along your lips, teasing you before pushing two digits into your mouth. Instinctively you knew to suck on them, letting your tongue swirl around. Kevin was quite proud to see you acting appropriately, and for that you deserved a reward. He pulled his fingers out with a loud pop, letting you whine for a bit before putting something much bigger against your lips. You opened your mouth without question, taking in his whole length inch by inch. Then you felt Hyunjae filling you up, getting stimulated from both ends. You let them take control, just floating on cloud nine as they got another handful of orgasms out of you, making your eyes roll to the back of your head multiple times.
Once you were finally wrapped up in Hyunjae’s arms you were really feeling sore in your legs and jaw. You did want to rest, but as you were dozing off a hand came down and pulled your head off the pillow. You were met with Eric’s piercing gaze, seeing a rather psychotic glint in his eyes. Of course you weren’t gonna get off easy, he still had to punish you for you breaking and entering. You probably should have explained to him at some point you found the door unlocked, but that wasn’t going to happen anytime soon, nor would it matter to him. Despite Hyunjae’s protest Eric took you to his own room.
Although it wasn’t long before you were joined by another. Sunwoo had crawled into bed, pulling you into his arms and snuggling against you. He wanted to be soft and sweet but Eric had other plans. Took a bit of talking but he got Sunwoo on board. Next thing you knew you were on top of Sunwoo, barely able to make out his words of praise. His hands ran up and down along your chest, taking your breasts into his hands and massaging them ever so gently. You mewled at his touch, gently rocking your hips. You were exhausted, but your body still craved more friction. Eric placed his hands on your hips, guiding you down onto Sunwoo’s cock, making sure you took in everything.
He gave you a moment to revel in the feeling before bending you over. You didn’t know what he was planning until he pushed himself into you right alongside Sunwoo. The stretch was like nothing before, and you swear you saw white for a moment. You leaned back against Eric, giggling as he whispered dirty things in your ear. They gave you a moment to adjust and really feel them before they started moving. They tried to be gentle and slow at first but their own burgers got the better of them. You felt like they were tearing you apart, but in a good way. Your orgasms all blended together, and all you remembered was ending up sandwiched between them, still full with their cocks and cum while you all wound down from your high.
One moment you were in bed, the next you were in someone else’s arms. You could barely make out Sangyeon as he carried you bridal style, but the smile was obvious. You snuggled against him, not wanting to let go when he set you down. You felt hands on your body once more, and not just too. A hand grabbed your chin and you locked eyes with Jacob. He had such a content smile on his face, placing soft kisses all over you. The eldest of the bunch had been patiently waiting to finish you off. You were already at your limits but they pushed you past that, taking you in whatever way you saw fit.
Younghoon had you bouncing up and down on him, making deeper bruises on your hips. Jacob was gentler and such a tease as he took you from behind while you stayed on top of Younghoon, letting the other watch the show. Sangyeon though, he dragged you out of bed and took you against the wall, surprising you with his strength and resolve. He didn’t let up, making sure you were still enjoying yourself even if you were so far gone. It wasn’t easy to close your legs, and you felt so full you swear your stomach was a bit bigger. You thought you’d finally get to sleep, but you weren’t going to be left alone just yet.
You could vaguely recall Sangyeon getting you into a bath with him, cleaning you up and making sure you were well cared for after such a night. Kevin had found the two of you and helped with getting you dressed. Everyone else was mostly out for the night. Kevin’s room was one that wasn’t used to so he offered to share his bed, happily taking you with so the two of you could sleep together. You didn’t hesitate to snuggle against him, still feeling sore but glad to finally wind down and rest. It was quite impressive you made it through such a night. You knew you’d probably be all kinds of bruised tomorrow, but that was a problem for later.
You couldn’t help the dopey smile on your face as you remembered all of this, all the things you had done the night prior. It was like nothing you had ever experienced before, and you didn’t even know if you’d get close to it ever again. Although you quickly had to tell yourself to get your act together. Even if you now remembered what you had done, you could look back and see what was bothering you. The boys had given you an aphrodisiac, but there was something else too. You sat up, lifting up your shirt and seeing that you had no bruise or marks of any kind. Your skin was untouched, but you knew that shouldn’t be the case. While you were lost in your own head Juyeon and Eric helped you get back in your seat.
“Are you okay, baby?” Eric asked. “Did you remember something?”
“Last night…”
“Oh, that’s good. Wouldn’t want to be the only one to remember how capable you are.”
“What did you give me?”
“Ah that, it was good, right?”
“What was it!?”
“Power.” Jacob stated. “True power.”
“It was a drug.”
“So is ibuprofen, your point?”
“What exactly did you give me?”
“I already told you. Power. Don’t you remember? You broke the handcuffs with ease, you kept up with all of us. Despite how rough some of them might have been, you don’t have a single bruise on your body.”
“…”
“It’s temporary.” Younghoon assured. “You’re back to normal now. Although, if you ever want more, you just have to ask. Only the first one is free.”
You needed a moment, you needed to be alone. Without saying anything you left the table, finding the nearest open room and locking yourself inside. You felt a bit sick, coming to terms with the fact they had given you some sort of unknown drug. Now you only had the lingering taste of that power high. You didn’t want to believe what they had told you, but you had felt, and moreover you had seen it too. That night at the warehouse, the incredible strength they displayed, it was all real and now you knew how. Whatever drug this was, they used it a lot. You had your suspicions about their business, especially once you saw all the weapons. If they were some kind of gang in the area, they certainly had their advantage to stay in power.
All this speculation just gave you more reason to want to leave. Even if they were good to you, the kind of life they lived wasn’t something you wanted to be a part of. After that night you continued to avoid them, not wanting to form any kind of lasting attachment. They certainly gave you space, but were a bit more willing to try for your attention, especially since they had no problem getting handsy with you now. From what you did get, they seemed to be so fun, but you couldn’t just drop the idea of escape. Your biggest problem was that ankle bracelet you had, but it seemed the solution was around the corner.
One day you overheard a few of the boys talking about a potential party at the house. Of course you came up as a subject since they weren’t sure they could trust you to behave. A party would be a great opportunity, so you had to make sure you were allowed to attend. In order for that to happen you had to engage with them and socialize, show them that you could behave. You really had to let your guard down and be friendly with them. You rejected any advances they made and they respected that, probably very happy that you were done giving them the cold shoulder. Eventually the party came up in conversation around you, so you offered to help with planning and set up. They happily agreed.
You made sure a lot of alcohol was purchased, and intended to get them drunk. This was going to be your night, but in order to do this you needed one key ingredient. You needed the ankle bracelet off, and fast, and the only real solution you saw was that drug. You had broken handcuffs with ease, so with that kind of power you’d break the ankle bracelet quickly and then get out before they even knew you were gone. The only problem was that you had to ask for it, and not get denied. You didn’t see why they would say no, but you also needed to make sure you didn’t arouse suspicion.
The day of the party you helped with setting up, popping open a bottle of vodka and taking a small sip before pouring shots for the others. They happily took the drink you offered, cheering to a night of fun. You needed to pick one of them and you figured your best bet would be Eric. You kept your eye on him and waited for your chance. People were starting to come to the house, so you figured things would be getting started soon. You found Eric and got him alone, coming up from behind and wrapping your arms around him in a hug. He was a bit startled at first, but happy to see you, placing a kiss on your head.
“Eric.”
“Hm?”
“I want tonight to be fun.”
“It will be.”
“But you know what would guarantee it?”
“What?”
“If I got to be strong like the rest of you…”
“Ah, you want a special party favor, huh?”
“It should last me all night right? How else am I gonna keep up with all of you?”
“Good point, but promise you’ll behave.”
“Pinky promise.”
“Good girl.”
Eric took your hand and led you to another room. It was another armory they had, and he told you to stay put as he got something out of a safe. He presented a pill to you, telling you to open your mouth. Your plan had been to take it later when you were ready to act, but Eric wasn’t going to let you leave without consuming it. As far as you knew, it lasted a few hours, so you should be okay either way, but you were gonna have to act the first chance you got. You gave Eric a smile and took the pill. After a moment you felt this spark of power run through your whole body. It made you dizzy for a second but Eric assured you the uneasiness would pass and you’d be your normal self, just better.
Soon enough the party began and things got wild fast. You made it a point not to drink, but you still hung around the boys, wanting to engage with them for a bit before disappearing. As the night was getting on, you started to iron out the finer details of your escape. When you had a chance you glanced outside, seeing all the cars parked around. You considered taking one, but you didn’t know how to drive. What you needed was to get your hands on a phone, figure out your location and call a cab. With everyone around drinking and having a good time, it shouldn’t be hard to sneak a phone, and money, off someone.
You kept in mind the time, keeping an eye out for someone vulnerable, and occasionally testing your strength to make sure you were still able to break free. You stuck around those that were drinking, getting friendly with someone and managing to snatch their phone. You cautiously snuck away to get some privacy, finding a bathroom. You managed to unlock the phone and checked the address. Thankfully you weren’t so far from civilization and called for a cab. You had about fifteen minutes to get out of this house, and the first thing you needed to do was get that ankle bracelet off.
You sat down on the floor and figured out a good grip, taking in a deep breath before pulling and breaking the bracelet in half. You thought maybe some noise would be made or something, but it was silent. Lucky was on your side. You tossed the broken thing in the trash and made your way out of the bathroom, needing to get outside. Part of the party was in the backyard, but it wasn’t a good idea to go around, so you had to exit through the front. The door itself might not be the best, but you could give it a shot. If not, you had no problem jumping out a window. Thankfully you got away from the house undetected, checking the phone and then leaving it by a car before heading to the main road.
When you saw the lights of the cab you were finally able to let out a breath. It brought such relief to be moving away from the house, free from your captivity. The cab took you back to the only place you could go, to your uni campus. You had been gone for a little over two weeks, but hopefully nothing had gotten messed up in your absence. You knocked on the door for your roommate to let you in, not bothering to answer them about your recent whereabouts. You were so happy to collapse into your bed, even if it wasn’t as comfortable, feeling like you could finally get some real sleep.
Thankfully a good amount of your things had been in your dorm room, but you would need a new phone, and new cards. Come morning you got to emailing your professors with some basic excuse of being ill and asking for assignments to make up. Out of curiosity you tested your strength, but you were back to being a normal person. At least you had money, so you could afford a new ID card, and even though you could afford a new phone, that involved leaving campus. You knew the guys couldn’t just waltz onto school property, and they didn’t know where your dorm was, so this was the safest place for you. By now they sure knew you were gone and probably pissed, which meant you were in danger.
Your best bet for now was to wait, just let this all die down and maybe they would forget about you and move on. The bright side to not having a phone was that they had no means of reaching you. As for your classes, you still had your laptop and could email classmates and do assignments. It was kinda hard going back to your lectures as if nothing had happened. Of course you had a decent amount of work to catch up on, and your grades were gonna take a hit, but at least you were free. Even if that was true, you did have this uneasy feeling. You felt paranoid, like you were always being watched. You couldn’t sleep that easy anymore, and you felt quite irritable. Still you did your best to just focus on being a normal university student.
“Nice tattoo.”
You were taking notes in a class when someone had made the comment. At first you were confused, but then you remembered the butterfly tattoo on your wrist. You never asked about it, not remembering how you got it anyway. After that night of passion you were out cold, and they had probably done it then. It was the least of your worries and even now you had completely forgotten about it until someone brought it up. The tattoo wasn’t a bother, but it wasn’t your thing, nor did you want any sort of connection to them. You did a bit of research and made a call to set up an appointment with a tattoo artist to have your tattoo removed. It was risky to go out, but you wanted that thing gone.
You made sure to cover up and hide your face, constantly checking your surroundings to make sure you weren’t being followed. This little outing of yours was dangerous, but if it wall went down in one piece you could probably start to relax. Since you were out, you figured you could get a new phone too. After the tattoo removal of course. Thankfully you made it to the shop without issue, introducing yourself and being moved to the back. You were glad there weren’t any windows where you were seated, so you felt less worried about removing your jacket, hat and mask. The chair you were in was like a dentist chair, but it was quite cozy.
“Alright, I’m Hongjoong, I’ll be your artist today, although I believe you’re here for a tattoo removal.”
“Yeah, just a crazy night, and I made a mistake.”
“No worries. Can you show me where the tattoo is?”
“Sure.” You rolled up your sleeve. “It’s this.”
“Oh…”
“Is there a problem?”
“No, no, not at all. It’s pretty.”
“I want it gone.”
“Yeah, of course. I will need to strap down your arm though.”
“What!?”
“Removing a tattoo isn’t painless and considering it is on your wrist, I don’t want you moving too much during the process.”
“Ah, that makes sense. Alright then.”
“Good. Just give me a second.”
Hongjoong got up and disappeared for a moment, coming back and using a belt to strap down your arm. He made sure it wasn’t uncomfortable, and that it should allow him to work without issue. He got up once again, giving you a chance to collect yourself. Although when he returned he grabbed your other arm and strapped it down as well.
“What are you doing!?”
You tried to fight him, but your other arm was already restrained. Hongjoong didn’t answer you, he just made sure you couldn’t escape and then left you alone. You screamed at him, then started crying for help, hoping someone else would come, but there was no one. You continued your attempt of escape, but it got you nowhere. When you heard the door you started screaming again. You heard footsteps approaching, thinking you were finally gonna get some help but you immediately went silent when you saw who approached.
“Well, well, well, look what we have here.”
“I didn’t harm her.” Hongjoong commented.
“Good. I’m glad we’re still on the same page.” Sangyeon chuckled. “Care to explain yourself, baby?”
You didn’t want to meet Sangyeon’s gaze, but you could feel his eyes digging into you. He didn’t need a response from you. Instead he had the other boys gag you and then untie you, dragging you out of the shop. You wound up in the back of a car, sandwiched between Changmin and Younghoon, knowing very well their strength outmatched you, so there was no escaping them. Of course you wound up back at that house. You were dragged inside and taken down below, thrown into an empty room. You got the gag off yourself and tried to run for the door, only to get tossed back.
“What the hell were you thinking!” Sangyeon yelled. “Did you really think a stunt like that would work!?”
“I got out of this house, didn’t I?”
“Oh, aren’t you quite cocky for a dead girl walking.”
“What?”
“You’re doing much better than we thought.” Hyunjae mentioned. “We thought you’d be hospitalized by now.”
“What are you talking about?”
“Did you forget again?” Eric questioned. “The night of the party you asked for power. I should have known better.”
“You were the easiest target.”
“You bitch!”
Eric wanted to get a hit, but he was held back by Juyeon and Sunwoo. You were putting on quite a brave act, but the truth was you were terrified. You had done well to avoid their grasp, but in the end they still caught you.
“What the fuck do you guys want with me! And what’s with this talk about death? Are you gonna kill me this time?”
“Oh no, none of that.” Jacob said. “But the truth is you are dying. Haven’t you felt it?”
“Felt what?”
“The withdrawal.”
“Huh?”
“What? You think taking drugs doesn’t have its consequences?”
“I…  what?”
Chanhee chuckled. “After using the drug you’re supposed to take something else to negate the side effects. Remember the little hangover cure we gave you the first time?”
“… why didn’t you tell me this!”
“Why would we? It’s a means of keeping you in line.”
“You-”
“It seems it hasn’t hit you that hard yet, but it’s only gonna get worse. Surely you’ve had trouble sleeping by now, maybe feeling irritable and jumpy? It’s the withdrawal.”
“…”
“You’re gonna start feeling really sick soon.” Juyeon mentioned. “And it’s possible to get to a point of no return. We wouldn’t want you dying, now would we?”
“Where is it! Where’s this cure of yours!”
“Do you seriously think we’re just gonna give it to you? After the stunt you pulled?”
“You’re the ones who knowingly put my life in danger!”
“You asked for it. You asked for all of it. A night of passion like never before, and a night of power. Don’t blame us.”
“Fine. What do you want?”
“Seriously?” Haknyeon questioned. “Is it not obvious?”
“Amuse me.”
“You, silly. We want you, and we’ll do anything to get you back.”
“So if you want your cure.” Kevin added. “No more running away.”
“And if I refuse?”
“Oh, you really wanna play with your life? We can always come back to this conversation when sunlight starts to hurt you.”
“Wait.”
“Hm?”
“I… I’ll stay… but…”
“This isn’t a negotiation.” Sunwoo stated.
“I want to go back to school.”
“What?”
“I still want to be able to study and get my degree. You can drop me off and pick me. I won’t-”
“I said-”
“Sure.” Sangyeon interrupted. “Why not.”
“Sangyeon-”
“Hand it over.”
The others stared at Sangyeon with questioning looks, not really agreeing with his decision, but he wasn’t gonna hear anything else. Jacob came over and handed him a water
bottle with a similar blue sports drink color. Sangyeon opened it up and handed it to you.
“Drink it. Every last drop.”
This was what they had given you last time, so you did trust it. You emptied out the water bottle, immediately feeling this tension leaving you body. Perhaps all your worries weren’t just in your head, but part of the side effects to this drug of theirs.
“Better?”
“Yes.”
“Now we can talk.”
“Wat-”
You were suddenly shoved up against the wall, hand around your throat. Sangyeon had you pinned, glaring daggers at you. It was hard to breathe, and you tried clawing at his arm but he didn’t budge at all.
“You know, the second you broke that ankle bracelet we knew, but our guests kept us distracted so you got very lucky. That won’t be happening again.”
“I… I’ll… I’ll come… back…”
Sangyeon chuckled. “It’s funny you think I’m actually letting you set foot outside this house again.”
“You… you-”
“I make the rules here. The thing is, you just don’t get it.”
Sangyeon grabbed your arm, holding up your wrist to show you the tattoo you had. He leaned forward to place a soft kiss on it.
“This right here, it’s how we found you. It’s our mark, it lets everyone know who you belong to. Our people are everywhere, so even if you did end up in the hospital, you’d wind up right back here where you belong with us. It doesn’t matter where you go, we will find you.”
Sangyeon dropped you to your hands and knees and you gasped for air. You coughed as you tried to steady your breathing, realizing everything else that had been said previously was a lie. There was no getting out of this place, not again. After a moment Sangyeon kneeled down and grabbed your chin.
“Baby, I want you, even if I have to hurt you.”
“… why…”
“Cause you came into our lives, and you’re too good to pass up.”
“… please…”
“Don’t lie to yourself. As if you truly want to leave and return to that boring life of yours. Stay. Let us take care of you and treat you the way you deserve.”
“…”
“You’ll come around. In the meantime.” Sangyeon pulled out a pill. “Take this.”
“I… you just…”
“An ankle bracelet won’t work with you, so might as well use different means. Go on now.”
There wasn’t much of a choice here. If you didn’t do it willingly you knew Sangyeon would force it down your throat. So you took the pill, feeling that spark once more.
“Good girl. You can keep up with us better this way, and now you know you won’t last long out there if you were to leave again. Which is not gonna happen, right?”
“No…”
“I need you to say it.”
“I won’t run away again…”
“Good. You won’t regret meeting us, I promise.”
“I do.”
“Watch it. You don’t want us to test your limits again, do you? Or maybe you do. I don’t mind having a brat in this house.”
“… sorry… I… I didn’t…”
“Much better, although we do need to carry out your punishment for running away. Last time was nothing compared to this, so I hope you’re ready. You won’t be sleeping tonight.”

Sunwoo As Your Boyfriend
Tumblr media
Boyfriend
(n.) A person who 90% of the time annoy you, and 10% of the time makes you forget the 90%
The boyz masterlist here #1 #2
Sunwoo is the type of boyfriend who you can lean on. He is mature, smart, and knows how to take care of you. He is also romantic and will always make you feel special. He is always there for you. He is the first person you want to call when you have good news or bad news. He is always there to listen and to offer support. He is mature and responsible. He can handle anything that comes his way, and he always puts you first. He is smart and funny. He can make you laugh even when you are feeling down. He knows how to take care of you. He will cook for you, clean for you, and do whatever he can to make your life easier. He is romantic. He will surprise you with flowers, gifts, and thoughtful gestures. He always makes you feel special. He is always honest with you. He will never lie to you or betray your trust. He is supportive of your dreams. He will always encourage you to follow your dreams and to achieve your goals. He is patient and understanding. He knows that you are not perfect, and he will always be there for you, even when you make mistakes.
Sunwoo loves to fall asleep around you. He loves the feeling of being close to you and the warmth you give him. He also loves the feeling of being safe and secure in your arms. He likes to cuddle with you. He loves the feeling of your arms around him and your body against his. He likes you to hold his hand. He loves the feeling of your hand in his and it makes him feel connected to you. Sunwoo loves the feeling of not being alone. He feels safe and secure when he is with you, and he knows that he can always count on you.
Sunwoo would obviously take you on a beach date. He loves the beach so much, and going with you would be another level of happiness for him. He loves the feeling of the sand between his toes. He would love to walk hand-in-hand with you on the beach and feel the sand between his toes. He loves the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. He would love to sit on the beach with you and listen to the waves crashing against the shore. He loves the feeling of being close to you. He would love to cuddle with you on the beach and feel your warmth against his skin. Sunwoo would also love to do some activities with you on the beach. He might want to go swimming, build sandcastles, or just relax and enjoy the view. A beach date with Sunwoo would be a perfect day. He would be so happy to spend time with you in his favorite place.
When Sunwoo spots you in a crowded place, he will ignore everyone else and make a beeline for you. He will have a sweet smile on his face and he will give you the best hug he can muster. He will tell you how much he loves to see you and how happy he is to be with you. Sunwoo will tell you how much he loves to see you in a way that makes you feel special. He will tell you how beautiful you are and how much he enjoys spending time with you.
When you're with Sunwoo, you can't help but laugh. He has a way of making you feel comfortable and relaxed, and you can always be yourself around him. You both have a lot of similarities, so it's easy to understand each other. You love to play around and tell jokes, and you always have a good time together. You might make up silly songs or dances. You'll laugh so hard that your sides hurt. You might tell each other jokes that only you find funny. You'll laugh until you cry. Sunwoo makes your day full of happiness and fun. He always knows how to make you laugh, and he always knows how to make you feel special. You love spending time with him, and you know that you can always count on him to make you smile.
Sunwoo is not afraid to show you his broken side. He will let you know when he is feeling down, and he will let you know when he is struggling. He will cry in front of you, and he will tell you all of his problems. He knows that you will listen to him and that you will help him to feel better. He trusts you. He knows that you will not judge him, and he knows that you will not tell anyone else about his problems. He needs your help. He knows that he cannot solve his problems on his own, and he needs your support. He loves you. He wants to be able to be himself around you, and he wants you to see all of him, even the broken parts. Sunwoo loves all the attention you give him when he is feeling down. He loves the way you listen to him, and he loves the way you make him feel better. He knows that he can always count on you to be there for him, and he is grateful for your love and support. When you make Sunwoo feel better after a rough day, it makes you feel good too. You feel happy that you could help him, and you feel loved that he trusts you enough to share his problems with you. You know that you are making a difference in his life, and that is a great feeling. Being there for Sunwoo when he is feeling down is a privilege. It is a sign that he trusts you and loves you, and it is an opportunity to show him how much you care. If you are lucky enough to have Sunwoo in your life, cherish him and be there for him when he needs you.
Sunwoo loves to call you randomly just to remind you that he loves you. He doesn't care what time it is, he just wants to hear your voice and tell you how much he cares. Sunwoo's random calls are a sign of his love for you. He loves you so much that he can't help but tell you how he feels, even if it's in the middle of the night.

us against the world - lee juyeon
Tumblr media
inspired by taylor swift’s champagne problems.
pairings: ex! juyeon x fem! reader
genre: angst! fluff (if you squint)
synopsis: After running away from his proposal, all Juyeon could ever think about was where it all went wrong. Showing up to your house with a heavy heart is something you weren’t ready for, but Juyeon is certain that he wants you in his life, you were simply hesitant.
warnings: angst! mentions of alcohol and blood, slight fluff (if you squint), few curse words are mentioned, somewhat forbidden love, juyeon calls you baby twice
word count: 2.7k words
note: OH MY GOD! this is my first ever publish on tumblr. i’ve been pondering a lot on whether to give this story a happy or sad ending, but hey, we’ll see... and by the way!! this is inspired by taylor swift’s champagne problems!! have fun reading !! (proofread once)
Tumblr media
Will you marry me?”
Splashing that tightly corked bottle of champagne, the high-spirited crowd gleamed in triumph, smiles plastered on their faces as they cheered the two of you on. His not-so-receptive relatives anticipated every minute whilst you were hesitant. You were unfathomable.
“I love you, Y/n. I’d like to spend the rest of my life loving and taking care of you.”
“Juyeon... What are you doing?” You mumbled. He was still down on one knee as he held a small velvet jewelry box. Juyeon gave you a sweet smile—a smile you know you didn't deserve.
“I'm sorry.” those were the last words you said. Juyeon’s eyebrows furrowed, confused about why you suddenly acted that way. You felt everyone’s gaze, your chest felt heavy. Staring at Juyeon, you gave him an apologetic look. He still couldn't process what was going on.
You had this forethought to run. The moment you ran, no one dared to move an inch. That moment screamed in silence. Running away from the person who desired to spend their life with you, you couldn’t prompt yourself to walk down that aisle carrying weight on your shoulders instead of flowers in your hands.
Guilt filled up your petrified heart. Absurd flashbacks start surrounding you, a champagne bottle in one hand, and a broken heart in the other. You’ve never been cognizant of how things developed into this. Perhaps you perceived that instances would change the second Juyeon’s once flexible plans became too vague and secretive for you to comprehend. You were always aware that you were preparing to get down on one knee, your friends even spoiled the surprise just for you, but you simply weren’t eager and ready for it. You and Juyeon were too different. The moment you dropped Juyeon's trembling hand as you two danced the night away, you knew you never deserved any of this.
As you ran whilst having blurry eyesight due to tears streaming down your face, it caused you to fall down the stairs and leave you bleeding on the floor. You could barely recall being put inside an ambulance and merely regained consciousness after hours of being inside the hospital.
Juyeon was beside you the entire time. Yet you couldn’t stand that, knowing he's the reason why you broke down in the first place.
After you got discharged from the hospital, you never spoke to Juyeon again. You started to disregard his phone calls, block his texts, and ignore the constant knock on your door because you know damn well that it’s Juyeon.
He doesn’t deserve this. He doesn’t deserve the life you're willing to offer.
But he’d rather be hurt by you over and over again than not having you at all.
Tumblr media
Six months had gone by.
If there’s one thing that you’ve learned during your healing, it was that your feelings were like waves. At a certain point, you realize that you’ve fully moved on and the waves have subsided, albeit the next thing you know the waves become rogue, and you’re sobbing with your head in your hands, missing what no longer was.
It’s raining. The continuous pour of water droplets reminded you of your uncontrollable tears during the last six months. You had this thought creating space inside your brain for it to wander around, it kept on asking how he was. And as if the Gods have heard your mind’s calling, a knock was heard from the door.
Looking through the peek hole, it’s as if your heart stopped beating once you saw the person on the other side.
Lee Juyeon.
You swore that if this was a dream, you’d never sleep again if it meant reminiscing or recreating distant memories. Trying to pinch yourself, you cursed over and over again, knowing for a fact that this is certainly not one of those reveries.
It took everything in you to get your trembling hand towards the doorknob and open it to reveal a drenched and intoxicated Juyeon. He reeked of alcohol—which you could already tell considering him holding a bottle in his right hand. You hated the smell, you hated that his wet figure casually made the floor of your patio slippery, but most importantly—you hated having him here.
“Why are you here, Juyeon?” You asked, surprising yourself that you did not stutter. Juyeon’s eyes met yours and stayed there, he didn't even dare to move an inch.
‘No. Not those eyes. Don’t give me those eyes.’ you thought.
“Can we please talk?” You let out a sigh. If you had a dollar every time you heard those four words during the last six months, you could probably buy yourself a car.
“Stop it. Stop hurting yourself.”
“I’m not,” He responded, but his state right now tells you otherwise.
He’s been visiting you almost every week in spite of you ignoring him. He’s been texting you nonstop. He’s been showing up just when you thought that you've finally gotten over him.
It’s hard to let go of the person you love, but it’s even harder to hold onto something that can no longer render love. The only constant thing in the world is change, it’s inevitable. Who knew that along with the seasons, your feelings would change too?
Six months ago, you were still happy with Juyeon. Six months ago, you were still in this fairytale-like romance that never failed to sweep you off your feet. You never knew that things would indeed change for the worse.
That one night, that one forethought. It all turned into something bigger than you could possibly visualize. As he got down on one knee, thoughts and notions began to consume your fragile mind, drowning you in a sea of overthinking.
His parents never liked you. You would often feel his mother’s cold gaze towards you during gatherings, and his father can’t even look you in the eye. No matter how many times he tried to persuade them, you know for a fact that they despise you.
They weren’t even there when he proposed.
Who knew that it all took you a small velvet jewelry box to conclude that Juyeon was exceedingly out of your league?
You could tell that his parents were glad—no, relieved that you ended things with Juyeon. And you know for a fact that during the last six months, they’ve been setting their son up with hyper-privileged women with rich-ass companies. They were nothing compared to you and the life you have. This made your stance even stronger because ending it all was probably for the best.
“Stop making it harder than it already is, Juyeon.”
“Just talk to me. Please. Just this once.” Those disconcerting brown eyes staring into yours.
Finally giving in, you let him inside your house. Aware that his clothes were still dripping, you rushed to your closet and grabbed the sweater that he gave you, the sweatpants that he left, and a towel.
Mentally cursing at yourself for still keeping his things, you handed it all to him and pointed towards the bathroom without saying a word.
“Thank you,” He muttered.
He placed his bottle of alcohol down your coffee table and directed himself inside the bathroom. You simply watched his statuesque figure as he closed the door. You let out an exasperated sigh, wondering what may happen.
As he got out, you couldn’t stop yourself from staring at him. He looked good, but his aura screamed in agony and despair. You could tell how much he’s been through. He sat beside you, but he wasn’t too close. You cleared your throat and moved a bit further from him.
“Can we talk now?” He asked. His voice sounded desperate, the way he said it sounded more like a plea rather than a question.
“Go on. We can talk until the rain stops,” You responded, simply staring out the window as rain came pouring down.
"Where did it all go wrong?" You turned your head to face him.
“Nothing went wrong, Ju—”
“No. Something did. We were happy, Y/n. It was us against the world.” He cut you off.
“That's the thing, Juyeon,” You stood up from the couch, still facing him. “We were against the world. No one liked me, Juyeon. Not even your family. That’s when I realized that maybe I was the problem. Hell, that's when I fucking realized that maybe I was too selfish. A selfish bitch that cared only about her own happiness when in fact you were exceedingly out of my league. We wouldn’t live a happy marriage even if we wanted to.”
“And you’d really let them define us?” This time Juyeon was the one who stood up to face you.
“I didn’t want to, Juyeon. But they made it so fucking hard for me! I could barely comprehend my thoughts whenever I was around them. They made me feel as if I did not have a place for you in your life. They made me feel as if I’m some kind of phase for you!”
“Y/n, do you know how hard it is for me to hear you cry yourself to sleep every night when we were together?”
Without realizing it, tears started streaming down your face. “It hurts me so damn much. I never cared about what people had to say regarding our relationship. I just focused on our happiness.” He continued.
“I did too. But it was all too much for me. They suffocated me too much just so I could let go of you. It made me realize a lot of things—that you deserve gold yet I was penniless. That you deserve flowers, but I can’t plant them even if my life depended on it.” You told him using nonsense metaphors to claim your case.
“There are so many more women who deserve you,”
“I don’t care about them, Y/n! I just want you in my life.”
“They’re better than me.”
“If it’s not you, then I don’t want it.”
You didn’t reply.
“I wanted to run away with you, Y/n. Run away to the life we both want without anyone telling us how to live our life.” You were too silent for his own liking, but he continued to talk.
“That night when I proposed, I expected you to say yes because I thought that you’d rather spend your life with me than break things off just ‘cause other people wanted us to.”
“I bought tickets, Y/n. I bought plane tickets to Paris. I remember you telling me how much you wanted to go there. I already pictured us there, getting married and starting our new life without suffocating ourselves in people’s demands.”
Saying that you were shocked by his revelation is an understatement. You never realized that he could’ve thought all of it through. You thought that you only kept your pain to yourself, when in fact Juyeon already had the plans for both of you secured.
“Y-You really did?”
“I did,” he moved closer to you. “But instead of a flight with you to Paris, all I had was a night train home all alone.”
You started to visualize it. An audible sigh escaped Juyeon’s lips as the sound of the train tracks echoed across his head, booking the night train might’ve somehow helped his repudiating state. He must’ve sat there alone, nothing but hurt and misery filling up his bones.
“I didn't know that.” You closed your eyes, not bearing to look at him.
“That's when I got a call from your mother, saying that you got in an accident,” You finally got the courage to look him directly in the eye without a teardrop falling down your cheek. Albeit, Juyeon’s eyes started to become teary. You felt bad. You felt guilty.
“I fell. I wasn’t thinking straight. I had the urge to run away and I did.”
“I was with you during your recovery. Your convalescent body made me weak. It made me think that I should’ve done more to avoid your overthinking. I should’ve reassured you more.”
You vividly remember how your mother went on and on about Juyeon’s stay with you while you were still confined at the hospital. She kept on telling you how Juyeon would never leave the room even if your mother told him to. Juyeon would sleep whilst sitting on the unstable plastic chair near your bed just in case you woke up.
You started to regret pushing him away the moment you regained consciousness. His frown clearly displayed devastation, but you were too caught up in your own emotions to grasp the importance of having him beside you.
“I should’ve told you I love you no matter what other people say.” Juyeon cupped your cheeks, you looked at him as the two of you continuously shed tears. You placed your hands on him, caressing them. He wiped away your tears and gave you a warm smile.
That smile. That benign curve between the corners of his lips gets you every single time.
“I’m sorry. I’m sorry for doubting us. I’m sorry for letting other people tell us otherwise.” You started apologizing nonstop. You could feel your eyes becoming puffy, and your cheeks becoming warm. You simply held Juyeon’s hands and looked at him, not leaving his gaze.
“Shh. I don’t blame you for feeling that way. Your feelings are valid. You are always valid. You shouldn’t change your ways just because they tell you to. You should distance yourself from people who make you feel as if you don’t deserve to be here.” all you can do now is smile. Although tears are still forming in your eyes, you now feel safe.
“You’re not hard to understand, Y/n.” Those simple words were enough to make your heart melt. Despite confusion still lingering, you could care less now that you're within Juyeon’s embrace.
Juyeon wiped your tears, he looked at you with so much love. As if the last six months have been nothing but a burden to him. As you started to conceptualize the future, you came to conclude that you don't need to do that. You realize that with Juyeon, you shouldn’t ponder over anything or anyone and simply focus on each other.
“We'll make it through together, okay? I promise.”
He brought you to the couch to sit down. He then grabbed the alcohol bottle he brought with him the moment he came and simply threw it in the bin. Juyeon has your house memorized from ceiling to floor, and he can easily tell that nothing has changed. He went to the kitchen to fetch you a glass of water and soon gave it to you as he sat down beside you.
Muttering a small “thank you”, you wiped your tears and smiled at him.
“Won't it be hard?” You asked, placing the glass down.
“What will?” He asked, fixing your hair as he tucked a strand behind your ear.
“Constantly trying to keep me reassured, me getting 'what ifs', and having a hard time coping up with everyone's say.”
Juyeon didn’t say anything yet, but he pulled you into an embrace. Playing with your hair, he started to talk, “Keeping you reassured isn’t a problem, you’re my responsibility. It’s my job to keep you assured. Just tell me all of your thoughts, alright? I’ll help you get through it.”
You released from the hug. Juyeon cupped your face and caressed it gently which made you melt in his touch.
“Can we take our time?” You asked. Juyeon gave you a reassuring nod and kissed you on the forehead.
“Always, baby.” the endearment made your heart flutter.
“Wanna order something?”Juyeon nodded, “You also need to get rid of your hangover.”
“Hey! I wasn’t drunk! I didn't even finish the bottle.” Juyeon protested which caused you to giggle. You missed this. You missed him a lot.
After ordering food, the both of you cuddled with your back facing his front as his arms held you close. It was all you ever wanted.
Perhaps it had to go like this. Perhaps the distance between the both of you for the last six months was all you two need in order to breathe and grow together. Perhaps you two were meant to break and fall back together again. Whatever it is, happiness is all you ever want.
And your happiness meant being with Juyeon regardless of the ridicule and hatred your relationship got from people surrounding the two of you.
“What if the rain stops now?” You joked, looking back at him.
“You won’t be able to get rid of me, baby. I’ll always be with you.”

juyeon + calmly reassuring the other it’s okay when they drop a glass, gently checking their hands for any injury
stay . juyeon x gn!reader warnings . mentions of injury
you flick the light switch upward, turning on the dim lights in the foyer. the faint clicking of the clock signals that it's nearly three in the morning, but today you're not fast asleep like usual. instead, your mind runs heavy with littered thoughts and fast-paced memories that do everything but let you rest, and you pad toward the kitchen in resignation in hopes of seeking some form of solace.
however, instead of walking in to see the pristine marble countertops you'd always prided your apartment on, you notice the figure standing behind it. your initial reaction would be to scream at the stranger in your flat in the dead of night, but upon closer inspection, you realize it's your boyfriend, juyeon, drinking a cup of coffee while he scrolls on his phone.
"juyeon? what are you doing here?"
he doesn't startle at your voice, merely focusing his eyes on your tired and restless frame. you notice his bleary eyes and eyebags, and paired with the caffeine you assume he's had a long schedule and an even longer one to return to.
"your apartment was closer to the shoot so i came to pick up some coffee. i tried to be quiet and not wake you up, but i guess i failed," he whispers, scratching the back of his neck as if he was guilty.
juyeon frequents your place often like this, so often that you gave him a key to let himself inside whenever he needed to. you're used to his unexpected yet welcome presence by now, so seeing him in the kitchen doesn't scare you. if anything, you're just worried about the unhealthy schedules that bring him here at odd times in the first place.
"no, no, it's not your fault," you respond, walking toward him to plant your feet right in front of him, "i just couldn't sleep. i came to get a glass of water."
he takes a sip of coffee, and you watch his face morph into a frown. he reaches behind you to grab an empty glass, the wooden cabinet creaking open and shut to fill the empty silence.
"do you need me to stay with you? i have some time to kill before i go back to my shoot," he asks, filling the cup with some water.
embarrassment flits across your face at the thought of being so dependent on your boyfriend that you couldn't even sleep without him. juyeon grins at your expression, handing you the glass as a gesture to admit that you do in fact, need him by your side.
"yeah, i'd like that," you mutter, refusing to meet his eye as you take hold of the glass.
however, you seem to be too tired to function because you miscalculate the smoothness of the glass and watch it crash to the tile beneath you, the shards sprinkling into tiny pieces across the kitchen floor. responding quickly, juyeon carries you before you can step on the pieces, and you're lucky enough that juyeon moved quite some distance away from the shattering glass while you were too shocked to comprehend.
he places you on the kitchen counter, and the cool marble beneath you is a sharp contrast to the warmth of his fingers. he examines your fingers and then your feet to see if you have any shards lodged in your skin, but thanks to him and his fast reflexes, you're practically unharmed.
"you're okay, right? does it hurt anywhere? please let me know if you feel anything so i can take you to the hospital—"
"juyeon, love, i'm fine," you interrupt, grabbing onto his shoulders and forcing him to look at you, "thank you for helping me, otherwise i would've been seriously hurt. i'm sorry for dropping the glass in the first place. i'm just really out of it i guess—"
"hey, hey it's okay," he shushes you, grabbing onto your hands and squeezing them tight, "what matters now is that you didn't get hurt. if anything, this is just a sign to get you to bed sooner. i'll be right by your side, okay?"
you drink another glass of water, this time a steel cup, and watch your boyfriend clean up the glass pieces with a broom. as he dumps them in the trash, your heart swells with thankfulness at his mere presence and thoughtful nature. he was willing to protect you first before himself, and you feel yourself tingle with warmth.
as you settle into bed and juyeon tucks you in, you find yourself pulling at his arm to drag him alongside you. you know he can't be with you for long, but you plan to make use of your time in the best way possible: cuddling.
"thank you again," you whisper, cupping his face as he wraps his arm around your waist.
"don't thank me. it's my job to be here whenever you need me, whether it's saving you from a broken cup or tucking you into bed. i hope you know that even if i can't be here physically, i'll always be in your heart."

Request for Anon (Yandere Demon Chanhee) 4.2k, yandere, supernatural, demons, soul contract, possessiveness, manipulation, kidnapping, magic (@starillusion13)
“You called?”
You and your sorority girls screamed, immediately moving away from the strange guy that had suddenly made his presence known. You were all in one of the bedrooms, having a little sleep over and playing games. Of course the others decided to try some darker things, turning off the lights and getting some candles, chanting weird things. You didn’t participate in any of this but now there was a stranger in the room. He chuckled at your reactions, looking around the room while remaining in the shadows.
“You summoned a demon.” He stated. “Did you think I wouldn’t show?”
“You… you’re a demon…” Sal stuttered. “Like… for real…”
“As real as it gets. So, what is it that you want?”
“Wait, so you’ll grant our wish?” Yaz asked. “Anything we want?”
“For the right price of course.”
A flame apparead from the palm of his hand, leaving behind a scroll when it disappeared. He unrolled the thing, holding out a contract and his hand, baring his claws.
“A wish, in exchange for a soul.”
“We sign with blood?” You questioned.
“Of course. So, who shall pay?”
You didn’t like any of this, but before you could voice your concerns your friends grabbed you and pulled you forward. You cut your arm on the demon’s claws, bits of your blood splattering onto the contract. Your eyes went wide, and when you looked at the demon you could see a satisfied grin on his face. You were still processing when your friends pulled you back.
“I want to get into my dream job!” Sal exclaimed.
“And I want to get my inheritance early!” Yaz added.
“And you?”
“Please leave…” You breathed out. “Now…”
“Of course.”
The candles went out, plunging the room into darkness. Then you gasped awake in bed. You looked around in a panic, able to confirm you were in your room and calming down. Last night lingered in your mind, but it all felt like a dream. You quickly checked your arm, and to your relief there weren’t any marks. It really was just a weird dream. You took a moment to compose yourself and then got out of bed, getting ready for the day. As you went downstairs you greeted your sorority sisters, wanting to grab something from the kitchen before going to class. When you heard screaming coming from that direction you rushed over, but you merely jumped to conclusions. You found Sal and Yaz cheerfully yelling and jumping about.
“I got in! I got in!” Sal chanted. “I got accepted as an intern at my dream job! I’m gonna get to work there!!!”
“Yas! I’m so proud of you1”
“I’m so excited! I start tomorrow.”
“I’ve got good news too!”
“For real? What is it?”
“I woke up to a very important call this morning. My mother told me that my grandfather passed away last night.”
“Oh my gosh, Yaz, I’m so sorry.”
“I know. I’ll be going home this weekend for the funeral, but you know what else this means?”
“What?”
“They’re gonna read the will.”
“Wait, you’re gonna get your inheritance? Aren’t you?”
“Yes.”
“Yaz! You’re gonna be rich!”
“Right!”
The two started screaming again and you decided you’d skip breakfast today. You made your way out of the sorority house, heading to your first class of the day. You were kinda lost in thought over what you had seen. Last night was a dream, but it was such a coincidence that Yaz and Sal both got what they had wished for the next morning. You had to remind yourself that demons and all that stuff isn’t real.
“Morning, did you sleep well?”
Some random guy pulled you out of your thoughts, trying to initiate a conversation with you. Of course you ignored him, not wanting to give a weirdo like him attention. You walked right past him but he was soon to follow and get in your way.
“Don’t you think you’re being rude?”
“Do I know you?”
“You don’t remember?”
“Can you just leave me alone?”
“Nope, you’re mine now.”
“Excuse me!”
The boy gave you a big smile, baring his sharp teeth, his eyes turning black. You inhaled sharply and took a step back. Fire emanated from his hand and he held up a contract with blood on it, showing it to you.
“Last night wasn’t a dream.”
“You… you… you can’t…”
“I’m very real.” His eyes returned to normal, and the contract went up in flames. “So, have you thought about your wish?”
“My wish?”
“Yes, you signed the contract after all.”
“You granted Sal and Yaz’s wish.”
“I did no such thing.” He chuckled. “It’s just a coincidence, but between you and me, this weekend is gonna be very fun.”
“What are you talking about?”
“That girl won’t make it to the end of the week at her internship, and the other, she’s gonna be very upset when she finds out grandpa left her a penny.”
“You’re lying.”
“Just wait and see, but back to you. What is it that you desire?”
“For you to leave me alone.”
“Ouch. Like I said, I can’t do that. Your soul, your very being, is mine now, and I take care of my things.”
The boy stepped closer, brushing his fingers along your cheek before you slapped his hand away. He chuckled but stayed put.
“The name is Chanhee by the way.”
“And you’re a demon?”
“In the flesh.”
“What if I don’t wish for anything?”
“That’s your loss. In ten years I’m taking your soul, regardless of where you’re at in life.”
“Then I wish to keep my soul.”
“Sorry, you already signed a contract, and you can’t wish to undo it.”
“I didn’t do it willingly!”
“Your blood sealed the deal, all that’s left is for you to make a wish.”
“How do I break it then? Everything has rules, so there must be a way.”
“I’m afraid there isn’t. You can’t wish for anything that would break the contract, and you can only wish for things that would directly affect you.”
“Then I wish you never existed.”
“You wound me, but like I said, you can’t wish for anything that would break the contract. You’re stuck with me.”
“I hate you.”
“Well you have to get to know me first. Now that we have eternity together we-”
“Eternity?”
“Yup.”
“So… what happens when I die?”
“I take your soul.”
“But what happens… to me…”
“You’re mine, so I can do whatever I want. I can blink you out of existence and use your soul for power, or… you could roam the Earth with me as my companion.”
“So I am stuck with you.”
“Forever.”
“I’m gonna kill those girls.”
“Oh, do you wish to get away with murder?”
“Fuck off.”
You shoved Chanhee aside, not wanting to think about any of this and focus on something else. For now you were just a normal student with nothing supernatural going on. You had some time between your first class and the next so you went to the library, wanting to go over your things. It was still early so it was mostly deserted, but you weren’t alone for long.
“Hey y/n, you busy?”
You looked up to see one of your classmates, offering them a friendly smile. Before you could answer their question Chanhee had appeared, shoving them to the side and pulling up a chair next to you. He draped his arm across your shoulder, pressing a kiss to your cheek.
“She’s busy, and taken, so get lost.”
“What the fuck, Chanhee!?”
“I… I’ll message you later.”
The boy awkwardly excused himself, leaving you alone with Chanhee. You were quick to shrug him off, glaring daggers at him after you wiped away his saliva from your cheek.
“What are you doing?”
“Protecting what’s mine. Can’t just have some random guy try to hit on you.”
“He wasn’t hitting on me.”
“Are you sure? Cause that’s what-”
“He’s my project partner and we need to get together to work on the presentation.”
“Ah, so he is trying to get some alone time with you.”
“For fucks sake, leave me alone.”
“You should really stop saying that, cause it’s not gonna happen.”
“A girl can dream.”
“Or make a wish. You can have any career you want right now, you’d just have to wish for it. I think ten years is long enough to make a name for yourself.”
“But I don’t want ten years, I want my life.”
The library wasn’t the place to be, so you packed up and left, grateful that Chanhee got the hint and didn’t follow. You waited in the empty classroom for the rest of your peers and for the professor to arrive. For the rest of the day you didn’t run into Chanhee, but he was still on your mind. When you got back to the sorority house you tracked down Yaz and Sal. Although you could only find Yaz, as Sal had her first day at her internship and wasn’t around.
“Yaz!”
“What?”
“How did you know about a demon summoning ritual?”
“Why? Do you have regrets now? You should have made a wish when you had the chance.”
“I don’t care about that, just tell me how you summoned a demon!”
“It was Sal’s idea. She got a book from one of her classmates.”
“Where’s the book?”
“No idea, her room maybe, unless she gave it back.”
“You two are unbelievable.”
You went up to Sal’s room, going through her things until you found a very odd book at her desk. There was no title and the cover was made of black leather. This screamed danger, but Sal didn’t seem to care. You opened it up, seeing all kinds of demonic drawings, the writing in a language you understood although there were some parts you didn’t. You really couldn’t believe those two thought it was a good idea to actually follow one of these rituals. Eventually you found the bookmark Sal had left, seeing the instructions for summoning a demon. It was stated there that any wish could be granted in exchange for a soul.
The book didn’t specify if the wish maker had to give up their soul, but you weren’t sure who to trust between a book and a demon. Still, you took the book with you, needing to examine it some more and figuring out whether or not it could help you. That night you looked over the entire book, but it was nothing but rituals and spells with the bare minimum of information. It was a dead end, but then you realized that other books like this might exist, and those could have the answers you’re looking for. You continued your search online, looking for any other source of information, even checking your own school library to see if they had such books.
No luck on that, but you found a bookstore nearby that carried what you were looking for. The next day during your free period you went to the bookstore, keeping to yourself as you browsed the shelf of demonic books. You were trying to see if there was any similarity between the one you had and the ones here. You thought you were alone until someone appeared and snatched the book out of your hands. You were ready to explain yourself, and that all this was just for a research paper, but you merely glared when you saw Chanhee flipping through the pages of the book he took from you.
“I didn’t think you’d be interested in all this.”
“What do you care?”
“Well, I’m touched, you’re doing research on me.”
“As if.”
“You know, you didn’t need to go looking, you could just ask me.”
Chanhee gave you a smile as the book in his hand went up in flame, disappearing into nothing as if it never existed.
“Why did you do that!”
“Cause I’m an open book, so tell me, what do you want to know?”
“What is wrong with you!?”
“I’m a demon, I’m not exactly a nice person. I’m from hell after all.”
You were so done with Chanhee at this point, but it wasn’t like you could do anything to him. Still, if he was so willing to talk, maybe you could get some information out of him.
“How old are you?”
“Don’t you think it’s rude to ask such a question.”
“You said you were an open book.”
“Touché. Let’s just say I’m hundreds of years old.”
“Woah, so you’ve been around to witness a lot of things.”
“I have. It’s a good life, just going around making deals, getting more power, and I’m very handsome. Sounds cool, don’t you think?”
“Cool? You’re going around ruining people’s lives.”
“Quite the opposite in fact. I grant people’s wishes. They get whatever they desire, and the same applies to you too. So, you should make a wish to better your own life soon, time is wasting.”
🖤
Despite losing the book, it didn’t deter you from continuing your research. The bookstore was a bust as all they had there was legends and vague information. In all honesty none of those books were like the original one you had, so that meant you had to move your search to the internet. Although you couldn’t fully immerse yourself in that as you still had to focus on your own studies. The extra work certainly exhausted you as everything was important. By the end of the week you were completely spent. You got back to your dorm room and collapsed on the bed. You thought you’d just fall asleep, but you had an unexpected visitor.
“It’s way too early to go to bed, especially on a Friday night.”
“Fuck off, Chanhee.”
“Awe, I love the way you say my name.”
“Go away!”
“Are you gonna make a wish?”
“No.”
“Hm, then let me grant you one anyway.”
“Huh?”
When you opened your eyes you were no longer in bed, but found yourself seated at a table, Chanhee across from you. He had his elbows on the table, fingers interlaced as he rested his chin on them, a big smile on his face.
“How about a delicious dinner?”
“What?”
You looked around and realized you were at some high class restaurant, and most importantly your clothes were different. You were in a fancy dress, and Chanhee matched your outfit. This place was way beyond you, and not somewhere you would go on your own.
“Chanhee, where the heck are we?”
“It’s nice right.”
“How did you change my clothes?”
“I didn’t peek, I swear.”
“Take me back.”
“We just got here. Besides you must be-”
“I don’t wanna be here. Please.”
“Fine.” Chanhee sighed. “Something else then.”
Chanhee snapped his fingers and then everything changed in the blink of an eye. You weren’t back in your room as you wanted, but somewhere else. The whole change was disorienting, but this place looked familiar.
“How’s this?”
“Where…”
“It’s your favorite, right?”
“How did you know?”
“You’re mine, so I know everything about you. Let’s order, and it’s on me tonight.”
Before you could say anything more a waitress came over to the table. Chanhee ordered and then he looked at you. This was your favorite place, so you didn’t need to look at the menu, but you weren’t sure this whole thing was a good idea. It was quiet for too long so Chanhee just ordered for you instead, giving the waitress a smile and thanks.
“Why are you doing this?”
“You looked like you needed a break, so I figured I’d provide. If you make a good wish you wouldn’t have to work so hard, you know.”
“Yeah, you keep saying that.”
Even if this wasn’t your plan, you actually quite enjoyed the night. Some good food after a long week, and it being free, it was nice. Afterwards Chanhee walked you back to the sorority house. You still had homework to do, but when you got to your room you noticed a note on your desk.
Get some sleep.
You were confused, but then you noticed all your things laid out on the desk were complete. He had done your homework for you. It sounded ridiculous, but you double checked everything, and it was good.
“Unbelievable.”
A demon did your homework, that was certainly a first. Since you had nothing else, and it was late, you got ready for bed. For once you’d have the weekend to yourself, and you couldn’t help but feel grateful to Chanhee, not that you would tell him. If anything, this gives you more time to focus on your research and find a way out of that stupid contract.
🖤
The weekend was nice, but come Monday things fell into chaos. You were woken up by Sal and Yaz screaming in your face.
“Y/n! Where is that damn book!”
“Huh… what are you-”
“The demon book!” Yaz yelled. “Where is it!?”
“Uh… I lost it…”
“How!?”
“Why, what’s wrong?”
“We need to talk to that demon, it tricked us!”
“What are you talking about?”
“It lied!” Sal screamed. “I lost my internship this weekend cause apparently I’m not a team player, whatever that means.”
“My whole family got screwed over with the inheritance.” Yaz added. “We just got a couple pennies.”
“Well… can’t you-”
“No! Since he left us something, we can’t contest the will, this fucken sucks!”
“I… I don’t have the book.” You stated. “But maybe you can ask the guy who gave it to you? He might know something.”
“I haven’t seen him since that day.” Sal said. “He must have dropped the class or something.”
“Oh…”
“Gosh, you don’t remember the spell, do you Yaz?”
“Why would I?”
“Ugh! What are we gonna do?”
“At least you still have your souls…” You commented.
“Whatever. Never trusting a demon again.”
That was quite a wake up call, but you were also very surprised to learn that Chanhee had been telling the truth. The two of them getting their wishes was just a coincidence, and false hope at that. Your name, your soul, was on the contract, so the wish was really yours to make. Still, you wanted no part of this, so you’d continue looking for your way out. As you were walking to class Chanhee suddenly appeared next to you.
“Did you have a good weekend?”
“I spent my time well.”
“I see. And how was this morning? Anything interesting?”
“Why are you asking when you already know the answer?”
“Cause I’m curious to know how you took it?”
“Well the girls were upset they lost everything, and I told them I lost the book since someone swallowed it up in flames.”
“If they had the book it wouldn’t do them any good. The spell just summons demons, there’s no guarantee the same one will show up.”
“I’m sure they’ll figure something out.”
“And what about you? Any wishes yet?”
“You know you can just drop that. I’m not gonna make a wish.”
“You’re wasting a great opportunity.”
“I am trying to save my soul here.”
“Why? Are you so sure you’ll get into heaven?”
“I’m certainly not gonna go to hell with you.”
“We’ll see about that.”
It was a slow Monday so after your classes you returned to the sorority house to relax and continue your extra curricular activities. Searching the web for information on demons wasn’t any easier, but at least there were more options. Most websites seemed to be for show or people interested in the occult, but nothing concrete. That is until you came across an interesting file. It seemed to be a scanned copy of a book, and just by the look of it you had hope. You could tell the pages were old, and there was no proper title.
This actually looked like the original book you had, so you paid close attention as you read the pages. It was a large file, but given the detail you were very hopeful. Other types of rituals and information on the supernatural were mentioned here. It seemed legit, and then you found what you were looking for. This was a different type of spell to summon a demon, but it spoke of the contracts one could make. It specified that one had to give up their own soul, and that they could only make a wish that would directly impact their lives. The biggest point to note was your way out. Even if a contract was signed, if a wish isn’t made within the ten year time frame then it is rendered void.
“Oh my gosh…”
You read it over and over again, unable to believe your eyes but also feeling such immense relief. No wonder Chanhee kept pushing for you to make a wish, without one the contract isn’t technically sealed. You were so excited to know you could keep your soul.
“So, what are we celebrating?” Chanhee asked, randomly appearing on your bed. “Do you finally know what to wish for?”
“I know you’re a liar.”
“Huh?”
“Y/n!”
You heard someone shout your name and then Sal burst into your room. She immediately started asking you about the book again, wondering how exactly you lost it, but stopped when she noticed Chanhee.
“It’s you…”
“Yeah, he’s the-”
“You gave me that book!”
“I’m sorry, he what?”
“You’re the guy from my class who told me about the spell to summon a demon.”
“Awe, you actually remember my face.” Chanhee giggled. “And how’s life treating you?”
“You lied! The demon didn’t grant my wish!”
“Well, to be fair, the wish was never for you.”
“Huh?”
“You gave her the book… why?” You questioned. “What reason do you have-”
“What are you talking about, y/n?”
“He’s the demon you summoned! And he’s the one who gave you the book, I just don’t understand why he’d do that.”
“You’re the demon?” Sal asked. “You tricked us!”
“I am a demon after all, and I’m done with you.”
“Well I’m just-”
“Shall we change things up?”
Chanhee raised his hands and snapped his fingers, taking you somewhere else. It took a second to settle down, taking in your surroundings. You had been at your desk a moment ago, but now you were sitting on a bed. The sheets were smooth and red, and the room itself seemed very luxurious. It was just you and Chanhee here.
“Where am I?”
“My room.” Chanhee explained. “In hell of course.”
“What! No, I can’t be in hell!”
“Well, you already have one foot in the grave.”
“I don’t.”
“You signed a-”
“The contract is incomplete.” You stated. “Unless I actually make a wish, my soul is still mine.”
“Hm, what makes you-”
“That’s why you keep pushing a wish on me, you don’t actually own my soul yet. The only thing I don’t understand is why you would trick the others into summoning you and making a deal.”
“The answer is quite simple love. Who did I make a deal with after all? Who signed?”
“I did but-”
“Your little friends forced your hand.”
Chanhee came over and sat beside you, leaning in close. His hand gently caressed your cheek and the grabbed your chin.
“Such a pretty and intelligent girl can have whatever she wants. There’s no need to ever summon or make a deal. It made me want you so bad, but I had to use other means. Your little friends weren’t hard to trick into doing what I wanted.”
“You’re crazy.” You pulled yourself away from him. “I’ll never be yours! You’ll never have my soul! As long as I don’t make a wish, the contract is void.”
“Is that so?”
Chanhee suddenly pinned you down, black eyes staring back at you with a sinister smile. There was this dark aura around him, and for once you actually felt scared. Next thing you knew you felt chains around your wrists going taut and keeping you in place.
“It was very annoying to get those two to offer you up to me, and I expected us to be having a good time by now, but instead you’ve been looking for a way to get rid of me.” Chanhee growled. “I spent months watching you, waiting, and I won’t lose you over a fucken technicality. The best wish you could make is to be mine, so you won’t suffer in hell and live like me.”
“I’m not making a wish!”
“Is that so? Are you so sure that you’ll never utter the words ‘I wish’ in the next ten years? I’ll be watching closely, and accept whatever wish you make as sincere. So it’s better if you make a good one now while you still can.”
“Fuck you! Now that I know the contract is void, I’ll focus on finding a way to kill you, then I’ll truly be free.”
“If you’re so hell bent on denying me, then I’ll take matters into my own hands. I won’t lose you!”
Chanhee pressed his lips against yours, kissing you deeply. Your eyes went wide and you squirmed beneath him, but that didn’t get him off. Instead you felt something thick and irritating going down your throat, as if you were breathing in smoke. Your head started to spin, and when Chanhee pulled away you took in a deep breath.
“Y/n, can you hear me?”
“Uh… what… what did you…”
“All I need you to do is to repeat after me.”
“Hm…”
“I wish to belong to Chanhee. Now you say it.”
“I… I…”
“We’ll be the perfect companions. Now say it.”
“I wish…”

MORE ₊˚⊹ oh my god there’s only 6 chapters left….
˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖ ˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖ ˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖
TWENTY NINE — A Space Just For You (2.05k)
Minho picks you up from your apartment at around 1:45 the next day, but instead of waiting by his car like Juyeon did, he knocks on your door. He stands there dressed in a pair of dark grey cargo pants and a plain white t-shirt when you open it for him. He’s wearing the simplest of outfits, but manages to make it look good like always.
You decided to wear a white camisole under a light blue cardigan and a denim skirt. He smiles at you the moment you become visible to him and it’s like all the heaviness in your heart has dissipated into thin air. It’s a smile you don’t get to see often, mostly because it’s reserved for you and he doesn’t like to show it to other people.
He reaches out and takes your hand gently into his, calling out a goodbye to Yuqi, who was watching Teen Titans Go! in the living room, as the two of you leave. You follow him like a lost puppy as he begins to walk down the sidewalk towards the university district, not that far from your apartment.
“We’re not taking your car?”
“Nah, the place is nearby anyway, I don’t see the point. It’d take longer just getting in and out of the car.” He shrugs, casting a sideways glance at you, who's already looking at him.
You just hum in response and continue to trail alongside him. It’s nice out today, it isn’t as hot as it had been and the breeze blows through the holes of your cardigan. Maybe this walk was exactly what you needed after the week you had. You could just stroll in comfortable silence since you knew Minho wouldn’t badger you to talk if you didn’t want to.
A few minutes later, you’re standing in front of the cafe Juyeon brought you to for breakfast. You want to spin on your heels and head for the other direction, but Minho reaches down to grab your hand again and squeezes it. You glance at him again and he gives you that same smile. It brings your heart rate back to normal, allowing you to go inside without complications.
You pick a booth closer to the back, sitting on the side that faces away from the entrance. Minho sits across from you and sighs as he looks through the menu. You watch as his eyebrows quirk together in concentration.
“I’ve never had the lunch from here, I don’t know what to get.” You scrunch your nose once you’ve started to browse your options.
“I didn’t know you’ve been here before,” he says, squinting his eyes as he reads one of the descriptions. “Was it for breakfast? They have really good French toast.”
“That’s what I had, actually,” you snort. “Yeah, I came last week, with— uh— with Juyeon.”
If he wants to say something about that, he chooses not to. He clears his throat, folding his hands over the menu. “I think I’m gonna have the chicken sandwich. It sounds good.”
You quickly look for said sandwich, skimming through its explanation. “Ooh, it does. I’ll get that, too.”
Minho smiles at you fondly. It’s something he’s always done when you’re not paying attention. He liked to think that perhaps you were the reason why the sun shined so brightly in the summer, because it was jealous of how exuberant you were. You were the reason why cherry blossom petals littered the streets in the spring, because they were jealous of your beauty. The wilted leaves in the fall and the glimmering snow in the winter sprinkled to the ground just so they could be touched by you.
From the day he met you, he’d been in love with you. No matter how many times you’ve shown that you’d never be more than just friends, he couldn’t help but stare at you with softness in his eyes. You were the stars and the sky itself to him.
He had never been good at expressing his feelings, so maybe it was his own fault for getting stuck in the friendzone. But even so, he knew it was only so long before you found out how he felt anyways. You deserved to know, despite whether or not he knew that he didn’t stand a chance in the world against Lee Juyeon.
As if the universe had been waiting for the golden opportunity to collide timelines, Lee Juyeon himself and Chou Tzuyu stride into the cafe. They sit at a table by the entrance, Juyeon facing directly towards you and Minho.
He doesn’t realize that it’s the two of you at first, too consumed by his nerves. Anyone would assume it was because he was here with Tzuyu, the girl he’d supposedly been into since first year of university. But that wasn’t the cause at all. No, in fact he was nervous for an entirely different reason.
He was still stuck on the fact that his chest felt tight upon the thought of losing you in any way. Your congratulatory remarks about him asking out Tzuyu seemed empty, though you tried to make them genuine. He could tell your heart wasn’t in it. He doesn’t know how, he just could.
And then there was that godforsaken fake date. Everything about it felt so real to him. It felt right. The stifled laughs as you wobbled onto the rink like a baby deer learning to walk for the first time. The way you held onto him like your life depended on it. That all too familiar glint in your eyes when he caught you after you’d almost fallen.
Even choosing those stupid flowers, the ones that reminded him so much of you. He wondered if you kept them. If you put them in a vase with water so they’d stay as fresh as possible. If they became your new favorite flower like you said they would.
He was driving himself insane with all of these thoughts, every single one about you. Sure he stressed a bit over the Tzuyu situation, but never this much. He never lost sleep over her or the possibility of her rejection. But here he was, sitting in front of the so-called “girl of his dreams”, dark circles under his eyes and an unsettling feeling in the pit of his stomach because of you, his matchmaker.
Back at your table, your food had just been served. You and Minho raise your sandwiches from your plates, tapping them against each other as if they were flutes of champagne. You giggle as you bring it to your mouth, eyes fluttering shut to savor the taste. His hums of approval echo the exact rating you were thinking in your head.
“Woah, this is actually really good,” you speak through a full mouth, reaching over to steal one of his fries. “Thank you, kind sir.”
“I’m glad you like it enough to resort to theft.” Minho playfully deadpans at you, copying your action and snatching one of yours. You laugh out loud at that, such a melodic and contagious sound that he can’t help but join you. His eyes crinkle at the sides and his heart swells in its confines behind his rib cage.
Your laugh rings in Juyeon’s ears and he perks up, scanning the cafe for the source. He’d only ever heard it once, when the two of you had breakfast in this exact spot. He made a joke about something baseball related and you bursted into an uncontrollable laughter. The joke wasn’t really that funny, but he remembered feeling a tiny flutter where his heart beat, because you understood it. It attached itself to a part of his brain so he could cherish it for as long as he wished to.
However embarrassing, he was thankful for that memory coming in handy now. He spots you and Minho quickly, though your back is to him. Your elbows are resting on the table as you eat your food, something that exhibited just how comfortable you were with your friend. Juyeon recognizes the loving gaze Minho directs to your figure. Had he misinterpreted that look in your eyes at the roller rink?
He has to hold back a gasp when the other male leans into you across the table. His view is slightly obstructed by Tzuyu in front of him, but he can use his context clues to put together what he just witnessed. It’s like the world around him had stopped spinning on its axis and everything had become meaningless. Maybe everyone should’ve listened to Chicken Little when he warned that the sky was falling.
Nothing could’ve prepared him for the shattering of his own heart, as if the sky had truly fallen.

“I’m glad you like it enough to resort to theft.”
“I’ll have you know that I’m actually wanted for grand larceny,” you wave a french fry in front of his face, popping it into your mouth. “I’ll keep doing it if you don’t start eating, Lee Minho.”
He raises his hands in surrender, before taking a sip of his cola. You take a big bite of your sandwich and thank the heavens that you agreed to be here. This was ten times better than wallowing in self pity in your bedroom. You were lucky you had someone like Minho in your life to distract you from the way it felt like everything around you was being lit on fire and burning to the ground.
Without a word, he leans across the table with a napkin in his hand, dabbing at the corner of your lips. “You had some sauce right there.”
You cover your mouth with your hand, snickering at his comment. “Okay, casanova, you could’ve just told me.”
He rolls his eyes, nudging your foot with his. “Next time, I just won’t say anything and let you walk around like a fool with chicken sandwich sauce on your face.”
You shake your head and kick him back. His lips part and unpart like he wants to say something else, but doesn’t know how to word it. His tongue darts out to wet his lips and he leans back into the booth with a sigh.
“Are you okay?” You raise an eyebrow.
“Yeah, I just—” He pauses. “There’s something I have to tell you. Not because I want you to feel sorry for me or anything, but because I want you to know.”
“That’s ominous…” You swallow thickly.
“So, you know how I’ve always been the one in our friend group that never really approved of any of the guys you showed interest in,” he starts, wiping his sweaty palms on his thighs “Well, there’s a reason for that.”
When you nod for him to continue, he does. “For as long as I’ve known you, I’ve been in love with you, Y/N. I couldn’t tell you if there was a definitive moment in these past few years, because as far as I can remember, you’ve been the only girl I’ve felt this way about. And I’m not telling you because I expect something in return, I just thought it was right that you finally knew. I understand that you’re emotionally unavailable and I could never expect for you to have the same feelings after all you’ve been through.”
So many things fall into place at once all because of a single confession. Why Minho has always been at your beck and call without complaining or hesitating. Why he’s the first to tell it like it is, even if the truth was a bit too harsh. Why he constantly reminds you of your worth and why you shouldn’t put up with anything less than you deserve. Why he’s always the one picking up the pieces after you’ve gotten your heart stomped on.
You can’t comprehend why he’s let you put him through so much torture as long as he has, but you’re grateful for it all the same. Your eyes gloss over and before you know it, tears are spilling freely just like they did almost a week ago.
“I’m so sorry, Min,” you blubber. “I’m sorry that you fell for someone like me.”
He smiles at you sadly, wiping away your tears with his thumb. “I’m not. I couldn’t have asked for someone better.”
More than one heart was broken that day.

Sangyeon As Your Boyfriend
Tumblr media
Boyfriend
(n.) A person who 90% of the time annoy you, and 10% of the time makes you forget the 90%
The boyz Masterlist here #1 #2
Sangyeon seems to be the perfect boyfriend. He is thoughtful and caring, and he always puts your happiness first. He would make sure to do things that you enjoy, like taking you out to your favorite restaurants or going to see your favorite movies. He would also be there for you when you need him, whether you're having a bad day or just need someone to talk to. He would listen to you patiently and offer you wise advice. He would make you feel loved and appreciated, and he would always make you laugh. You would feel like you could be yourself around him, and you would know that he would always be there for you.
Sangyeon is a very affectionate person, but he doesn't like to show it in public. He only shows his clingy side to the people he trusts the most, like you. When he's with you, he loves to hold your hand tightly and be close to you. He feels safe and secure with you, and he doesn't have to worry about hiding his true feelings. He's the kind of guy who will always want to be close to you. He'll want to hold your hand, cuddle with you on the couch, and sleep with his arm around you. He may even get a little jealous if you spend too much time with other people. But all of this is because he loves you and cares about you so much. He wants to be close to you because he feels a deep connection with you. He feels like he can be himself around you, and he doesn't have to pretend to be someone he's not.
When he's with you, Sangyeon is like a big baby. He loves to be taken care of, and he always has a smile on his face. He'll cuddle up on the couch with you and watch your favorite movies. He'll let you braid his hair and paint his nails. He'll even let you dress him up in your clothes. When you need him, he'll be there for you. He'll be the shoulder you cry on when you're feeling down. He'll be the one to make you laugh when you're feeling stressed. He'll be the one to hold you when you're scared. Sangyeon is a true partner in crime. He'll go on adventures with you, no matter how crazy they are. He'll support your dreams, no matter how big or small. He'll always be there for you, no matter what. And even when he's being serious, he still has a smile on his face. He knows how to make you laugh, even when you're feeling down. He's the kind of guy who can make you feel like anything is possible.
Even when Sangyeon is busy and can't spend time with you, he will always make sure that you are taken care of. He will ask you if you have eaten, and if there is anything you need. Your picture on his phone screen is his source of inspiration and relaxation. He looks at it when he needs a pick-me-up, or when he's feeling stressed. Your picture reminds him of all the good times you've shared together, and it gives him the strength to keep going.
Sangyeon is head over heels in love with you, and your smile is his everything. He feels like he could fall even more in love with you every time he sees that beautiful smile. He would do anything to protect you and make sure that no one ever hurts you. He would do anything to make you happy. He would fight off a bear for you. He would cross the ocean for you. He would climb the highest mountain for you. He would do anything to make you smile. He knows that your smile is the most beautiful thing in the world, and he would do anything to see it every day. He would make you laugh until your sides hurt. He would tell you corny jokes until you rolled your eyes. He would do anything to make you happy. He loves you more than words can say, and he will never stop loving you. He is yours, and you are his. He will always be there for you, through thick and thin. He will always make you smile.
Sangyeon loves talking to you, especially when you're making plans for the future. He loves the way you can talk for hours about anything and everything, from your hopes and dreams to your deepest fears. He loves the way you challenge him to think about things in new ways, and he loves the way you make him laugh. He can't wait to see where your journey takes you. He wants to travel the world with you, build a home with you, and start a family with you. He wants to grow old with you and watch your children grow up. He wants to be with you for the rest of his life. He loves the way you enjoy your life together, even in this cruel world. He loves the way you can find joy in the simple things, like a cup of coffee on a rainy day or a walk in the park. He loves the way you make him feel safe and loved. He loves the way you make him feel like he can do anything.
Arguments can sometimes happen when Sangyeon is stressed. He might say things he doesn't mean, or he might lash out in anger. But it's important to remember that he doesn't mean it. He's just feeling overwhelmed and under pressure. When Sangyeon is stressed, he needs your understanding and support. He needs you to be there for him, to listen to him, and to help him calm down. He needs you to remind him that you love him, and that you're there for him no matter what. Sangyeon will always apologize for his behavior. He will hug you tightly, and he will tell you how much he loves you. And your relationship will be stronger than ever.
