I had a dream where you play as the Fierce Deity in an open world game (not the newest Zelda games). Link did not exist in this game. First of all, in this game, you can fly but only at night, you hunted down people, and if you did a lot of good stuff, the people of the land would make offerings in specific places around the land (these places the Fierce Deity would visit and get power ups and health). In the game, you can either be a fearsome deity or a graceful one. The choice was up to you--it was similar to the Shadow The Hedgehog game. You could strike fear in the people in the land or you could have them love you and both had their own special consequences. Like, if you were kind and helped the people by taking down criminals and monsters, you would get more offerings and prayers (like offerings but you would get power ups from afar I guess) but the people would eventually get complacent and you had to work harder at being good to get more things and stuff. I suppose in the dream, you level up or something? And, I remember you can lose power, too. That made it harder to defeat monsters but monsters were less prevalent or something?

But, if you were a fearsome deity, the people would fear you and would not give as many offerings but their fear would power you up. There would be no prayers and other things so it made it harder to level up or something. It gets a little foggy in the technical areas. And, monsters will attack more because your power was not holy but dark. However, you get to be as a fierce as possible and destroy everything you wanted to without tiptoeing. I'm serious; I dreamt this lol.

I remember in the dream, I was choosing both paths (basically being neutral) and I would strike fear in the people by using my deity powers around their towns, roaring, and roaming the streets at night. But, I also stopped slave mongers by ripping through their caravans, destroyed monsters, and helped children in the towns.

It was such a cool dream.
