Just found out electric eels a) technically aren't eels, they're just fish that look like eels and b) swim in a special way that make them extremely fast swimmers (with average speeds of 62 mph)

First up in my Dragonic Weapons AU: Jay!

Smallest of ninja, at a staggering 5’4”.

Has the most flexible and most aerodynamic tail of all the ninja. Wings are also the best for speed and long distance flights!

Electricity is constantly running through his dragon wings and tail. Think one of those balls that when you touch it your hair stands!

He has heterochromia, with one brown and one blue eye. He used to have two brown eyes until he unlocked his true potential. After Skybound, he became blind in his left eye.

VERY long wingspan. He is a tiny man with large wings. Perfect to hide himself in when anxious, scared, or embarrassed!

Can produce lightning from his wings and tail. The lightning like spikes on his tail are made up entirely of electricity and can disappear at will.

His eyes only tune solid blue when he is in his pure elemental form. Otherwise, they stay the heterochromic pair on the left.

Absolutely loves that he can fly now. Adores soaring through the clouds and flying through lightning storms.

Arrow after arrow connected with sparkling glass vases lined up like army men on the fence around the horse stables and sent the sound of glass shattering up into the gold tinted sky. Bo Fu sighed with content as his last arrow hit its mark and the glass vase was reduced to shards. His temporary moment of peace however was shattered by the familiar nicker of Bo Fu's second least favorite horse, Kion the Akhal-Teke. "Oh shut up," Bo Fu retorted back before even lowering his bow to give Kion a "don't-even-give-me-that-shit" look. Kion nickered again, a bored look on the horse's face.

#2: (fic about Nezha and Macaque being friends)

Nezha curiously eyed Macaque's ankle as Macaque set the bag of ice on top on it, "So what did you do to it?" Nezha finally asked. "Well, surprising no one I was stupid," Macaque answered leaning back as he got comfy on the couch. Nezha shot Macaque a look which he received loud and clear. "I slipped on some ice and fell on my ankle funny and then I went ahead and sprinted on said ankle," Nezha choked on a laugh, "Wow you really are stupid," Macaque gasped, offended, "No need to rub it in, geeze"

#3: (honestly just want to write something about Reincarnated MK and Stormhunter (his western dragon) however maybe multiverse shenanigans happen)

Wind ripped at MK as he and Stormhunter tore through the sky around Flower Fruit Mountain. It was more of a test flight to test out the aerodynamics of MK new armor. The armor was fashioned after old style Lightning demon armor, a nod to Stormhunter's class, but with a few MK touches thrown in to complete the look. The armor was a body suit made of more leather than metal and went with a mask and helmet that had large teeth and eyes painted on to it making it reminiscent of a Chinese opera mask. So far the armor was holding against the speed and wind, but how would it hold up against a full speed plummet from up in the air? MK pat Stormhunter's neck getting the demon's attention, "You ready bud?" Stormhunter grumbled, ready to save his owner's sorry behind yeah. "Stormhunter! It'll be fine!" MK insisted sensing his dragon's discomfort.

Antiverse Revised Character Profile: Whiplash

I can't believe I actually took the time to revise this profile, and I think it'll show. This marks the first time a character's name has been changed from the original, alongside power differences to help separate him more from XLR8. Without further ado, allow me to introduce you to the coward known as...

Whiplash

Powers/Abilities:

-Super Speed: On Kinet, better to flee than fight. Whiplash can run and react at incredible speeds. He can easily dodge gunfire and evade most attacks, but his speed is not as immense as his prime universe counterpart.

-Sixth Sense: He can feel them… they’re everywhere. Born with an innate sense of danger, Whiplash’s reflexes are incredibly fine-tuned. But his greatest strength is also his greatest weakness, as this sixth sense is so strong it’s trapped him in a constant state of fear.

-Armored Shell: Falling on Kinet can mean the difference between life and death, especially at the bottom of the food chain. Whiplash has evolved a silicon-based armor that acts as a shock absorber, lessening damage from sudden stops and impacts.

-Forearm Claws: There comes a time when running is no longer an option. On each of Whiplash’s arms are two razor sharp claws. Dangerous on their own, when combined with his super speed they can be rifled off with deadly precision.

-Minor Electrokinesis: According to legend, some have learned to ride out the storm, and catch the lightning. An ability unique to him, Whiplash can conduct electricity through friction and unleash it as a blast of energy. This power is difficult to control however, and it can even kill him if not properly controlled.

Physical Description: Kra:ash is in essence a heavily armored version of prime universe XLR8. His slender top half has a strong, muscular core: tapering off into a slightly pear-shaped lower half, his large hips and thighs containing an incredible amount of muscle. Lining his head and much of his upper body is a series of silicon-based armor plating. This armor, along with a series dorsal fins lining his spine, is shaped to improve aerodynamics and reduce wind resistance. The armor plating on his head, superficially resembling XLR8’s helmet, is divided into sections which coalesce into a unique tear drop shape. The armor is colored a sickly green, while his skin is a lighter shade of greyish-green. The Antitrix symbol is located on his left thigh.

Backstory: Run, or be run down. This is the philosophy that has governed Kra:ash’s entire existence. His life started like every other Kineceleran: afraid. From birth he hid with his clan in caves, sheltered from the perpetual storms and lethal lightning strikes. While his people hunted the planets armored giants. Kra:ash feared the roars from the sky and the beasts which trampled outside the safety of his caves. Fear fluttered in his heart, consuming him every waking moment in his life. Even on calmer days, during breaks in the endless rain, or the rare plentiful bounty’s brought home, there was no refuge from the fear and the terror.

When he came of age to join a hunting party, that terror only grew stronger. He’d tracked an armored beast that, if killed, would provide food for months. But a predator had used the beast as a lure, and it slaughtered the hunting party. The flutter of fear compelled him to run, leaving his fellow clansman to die. For hours he ran until he could go no further. All the while flutter had become a pulse. A pulse that hummed and swelled within him. The predator had tracked Kra:ash, waiting for exhaustion to claim him. It reared up its claws for an easy kill, but as it brought down its weapon, Kra:ash emitted a powerful blast of electric energy, killing it instantly. But this newfound ability meant nothing. His cowardice cost his clan everything, and for this he was exiled. So, he did what he always did… Run. And run he did… right into the clutches of an alien scout ship…

Personality: Fear dominates Kra:ash’s personality. Kra:ash is a cowardly and timid being. Self-preservation is his only concern once danger arrives, and between killing his enemies and running away, he’ll often choose the latter. Despite rare moments of courage, fear will always consume him once again. After all, Kra:ash never forgot the most important lesson in his life… Run, or be run down.

Influence on Kevin: Kevin becomes overcome with dread and indecisiveness as Whiplash, making him especially difficult to use.

Trivia:

-Kra:ash is highly sensitive to changes in the atmosphere, and can rather accurately predict weather phenomena.

I honestly like Surge's beta design a lot more, 2(on the top row of the same sheet) and 6 in particular. I feel like the shade of green used is easier on the eyes, and the more blueish tone of it is more fitting with her being more of an "evil Sonic" type character(even if in the form of a severely brainwashed person).

Here's the entire sheet as reference

The purple shirt/black poofy pants look for me looks better with her current spines, but I'm not too fond of the poofy pants in the first place, they look too cumbersome and hard to run with. Same goes for the jumpsuit of 1/5, which is just boring even with the lightning bolt on it. The punk outfit of 4/8 is... fine, but it doesn't really convey "speed" either. Also I don't like the torn skirt, it's a little distracting and I doubt it would have been fun to draw in a comic.

The purple suit of 3/7 is by far my favorite look here, and it works with both haircuts. It's simple, aerodynamic, and unique. Maybe something to break it? But not too much, her design is already loaded thanks to the many objects she has on her body.

I absolutely agree on the shade of colors, though, this palette is more pleasing to the eye while still conveying the Ashura look. (also she looks less like Scourge lol)

Now I’m a complete and utter twat, but it’s important to remember that even with Next-Gen racers in the Cars universe, that doesn’t change the fact McQueen is still a veteran racer.

One with experience, knowledge, and outlets that have aided him on his journey. While there’s nothing wrong with developing side characters (this strengthens a movie further with other complex, nuanced characters.) McQueen is the protagonist/main character.

And even Smokey said this. “You’ll never be as fast as Storm… but you can be smarter than him.”

Racing isn’t just about speed or the latest hydraulics/aerodynamic designs. There’s more to a racer than just speed.

…I’m dumb very dumb but I feel like with more development from Cruz, understanding her better as opposed to just ‘quitting your first race.’ and lightning beating storm using his wits. It’d feel complete.

I just… it’s annoying when the potential of characters are wasted.
