oh, very general emotions, it's not very Specific i'd think. cool colors correlate with cool emotions - like a frosty blue would mean he's feeling frigid, yk yk

Fair enough Not sure how'd they'd port the capture mechanics to a non ds system anyway. So in pokemon ranger there's like two sets of moves to keep track of and pokemon can have one of each. Moves to help with capture and Field moves. The prototypical example is Blastoise using Rain Dance to put out a forest fire. But Driftloons field move is assisting moving over gaps with the help of steam vents, and Driftblim literally picks you up and plays elevator.

That's why Ingo brings Chandelure and Gliscor with him on his climbing trips, though! Really beneficial to have a Pokemon around that can fly/levitate. They're literally his spotters. It's one of the tricks he picked up in Hisui! If anything, it's even easier now that he has a smaller/lighter body, especially in Chandelure's case.

(also it's a great way to rebond with Chandelure and smooth things out between it and Gliscor. he essentially has two ace pokemon now.)
