Hawaiian Roller Coster Ride/Aloha 'Oe
Another Keys cover said and done! The Lilo and Stitch chapters are a lot of fun imo, not only do we get the (surprisingly angst-ridden) plot of Lilo and Stitch 2 but we also get that sweet, sweet Soriku conflict that ends in bloody violence because why wouldn't it? Had a lot of fun capturing that conflict here ^_^

DTVA/DTS TAGTEAM TWEET-ATHON MOVIE #60: LILO & STITCH 2: STITCH HAS A GLITCH (2005)
This sequel was probably the closest in both tone and quality to the original that it came from.
I actually didn’t know what to make of this one at first. Stitch the Movie was more concerned with setting up a TV series than being a good sequel to the first movie.
Color me shocked when this ended up being really good. It works not only as a sequel to the original movie, but as a really great extension to all of these characters’ arcs. If you want to ignore the TV show’s existence, and just watch the first movie and this one, then you can!
The animation is pretty great. DisneyToon managed to capture the animation style of the original movie almost perfectly. I did notice a few hiccups here and there, but I had to really search for them, so it’s no big deal.
The story is good too. The drama is just as smartly executed as the original, and the jokes are just as funny as well. The story is also a lot more down to Earth compared to the first movie and the TV show, which I feel was a nice change of pace.
A problem I find is that the whole conflict of this movie could’ve been easily avoided if Jumba had just explained what was going on, but that’s really a CinemaSins level nitpick.
The score was good too. Not on the level of Alan Silvestri from the first movie, but it knows how to be really grand and sweeping and emotional when the plot demands it.
Probably the biggest problem is Lilo’s new voice actress. Dakota Fanning is fine, but she really doesn’t capture the same energy of the original Lilo. Lilo has some great moments throughout the movie, but I just kept feeling that they would’ve been better with the original VA.
But out of all the sequels we’ve watched thus far, this one is probably the best one. I would probably recommend this one almost as much as the original.
8.5/10: Myrtle is the perhaps the most evil Disney villain ever devised. No, I will not explain further.

Okay so Lilos mom won the dance contest when she was her age (7) and that was 30 years ago (her mom won in 1973 and the first movie came out in 2002, this is set the next year) and Nani can be assumed to be 20 in the 2nd one, that means nani would have been born when their mom was 17
