classpect the vending machine SCP. Also, if you know Rain world, would it be too much to ask you what classpects you think Five Pebbles and Looks To The Moon would have? Without, uh, too much spoilers.
I was about to say 'it's literally just a Vending Machine' but I remembered it's actually sapient and snarky. Still I don't think there's like. ENOUGH of anything there to really Classpect... X3
RAIN WORLD THOUGH I LOVE RAIN WORLD.
Without going into much detail or spoilers, first of all there's a very real potential that Five Pebbles and Looks To The Moon could be, narratively within the framework of the game's story, be considered a Lord and a Muse, but I also do think this reading breaks down if you're considering the sheer scope of Rain World's Worldbuilding beyond what you're directly experiencing in the games. Basically if you just take the Slugcat's Journey into consideration, they COULD count, but I think beyond that you'd be hard-pressed to really give them that much importance (And in that Sense, there's definitely another Iterator that much better fits the role of a Muse for the entire overarching story).
But I digress. In my reckoning, Five Pebbles is most definitely Doombound. Not only because of his Actions and the results of Those Actions, but even his Goal. Once again, not to go too in-detail, but he's someone who's very obsessively trying to overcome certain limitations, who pushed things way too far. Class is more difficult. I am leaning Active for him just like I am Passive for Looks to the Moon, but... Maid could work. Attempting to be a Healer, a Creator of Doom, and some of his actions, could fit within this framework. There's also a 'Made of' pun that you could make him with his situation but, as mentioned, I'm trying to be as vague as possible here. X3
Looks to the Moon though. There's ways it could go... I want to say maybe Hope? It's very difficult but I think I may be pushing Hope a little bit, specially with her interactions with 5P and her own situation... And how things progress through the campaigns? Unsure, unsure. Class is even more difficult. She feels like a Very Passive figure to me, one more oriented to the things that Happen to her than the things that she Does. Maybe in that sense Void would work better than Hope. That doesn't answer the Class, though... Knight feels too proactive, Heir... Heir? Heir could be one, actually, specially with the idea of 'things happening to her', her current state could very much be a Bad 'Consumed by her Aspect' state... Familiar Rivulet... I think I like that. Heir of... Void? Heir of Hope? Heir of Breath or Blood perhaps even. Difficult but, I think the answer lies around there.
Can you tell I was writing this stuff as it popped to mind? Lmao. But yeah. Rainworld good- Pet a scug today.

Could you a classpect analysis for a Knight of Hope?
I could indeed!! This one seems… really interesting!!
Title: Knight of Hope
Title Breakdown: One who Actively Defends [wields in defense of, serves, applies, protects] Hope [faith, belief, magic, positive emotion, pure creation]
Role in the Session: So, here we have the Wwhitest of Knights. Straight-up Paladin, right here. Maybe they’re actually religious, maybe they have a more nebulous personal code, but either way, the Knight of Hope is bound to be someone committed to their beliefs to the point of zealotry. Not only are they committed, but they’re also liable to proselytize or project a holier-than-thou attitude, to cover up for an internal sense that their faith is wavering and/or inadequate. Their role in the session is to keep Hope alive – to hold their team together by providing a light on the horizon, and a beacon of faith when rational optimism is all but impossible.
Hope as an Aspect is all about conviction, about as opposed to Rage’s nihilism/absurdism, and acceptance/commitment as opposed to Rage’s skepticism. It shares with Time and Doom a fondness for grand narratives and suspension of disbelief, and will probably manifest as a belief in fate, predestination, or some similar force in those Bound to it. The Knight is there to defend and make the most of what little Hope their session has remaining, and in order to rise to the task they must realize that the Hope has been in them all along. As soon as they overcome the hesitance within themselves, they can become the force for truth and justice that their session so desperately needs.
The Knight’s Quest may involve a Planet whose native consorts have become despondent and pessimistic, despairing that any Hope could rise again. Their Denizen, even sleeping, may be a wrathful, depressive force that keeps them in this state, but before the Knight can confront the Denizen themselves, they will have to face their own demons and fulfill their duty of being a Light even in the bleakest of landscapes. Their force of will is their greatest strength, and it will confer an advantage greater than any weapon might; when all else is lost, they’re going to be the ones staggering to their feet and saying, despite all evidence to the contrary, that it ain’t over yet. This is a tremendous task to rise to, and the Knight will certainly struggle at first – it will be crucial for them to fall back on their allies when they must, even when it seems as though those allies’ convictions may not be so strong as their own. A Seer of Doom might help the Knight acquire resilience, understanding of how to press forward in the bleak circumstances they are all but certain to face. A Rogue of Time’s ability to “buy [the Knight] some time”, perhaps by literally sending them back in time to correct whatever the flaw may be in their Session, would be a formidable tool in conjunction with the Knight’s ability to utilize their beliefs in every way possible.
Opposite Role: The Rogue of Rage. Boy howdy are these two gonna have problems with one another. The Rogue’s role is to “appropriate, redistribute, and give their allies skepticism, anger, and destruction” – which is pretty much the last thing the Knight needs, given that they’re already less-than-confident in the strength of their beliefs. I could see a slow-burn of resentment building between the two, culminating in one or both of them Inverting or Over-embracing, and allowing the clash of their mutually exclusive beliefs to tear the team apart. Needless to say, the team should not(!) allow this to happen!! It is absolutely crucial, for the Knight especially, to have people on their side, and the Rogue of Rage is bound to be a real sower of discord. I never say never when it comes to relationships (romantic or platonic) or teamwork/collaboration between two roles, but these ones in particular are like oil and water.
God Tier Powers
The Knight’s Aspect is Culminative-Conclusive-Personal; their Class is that of the Active Defender. This means that their powers are going to draw on their own internal beliefs and conceptions, and be directed towards intensity/concentration as opposed to expansion or diffusion. They are literally carrying their faith as sword and shield, for better or for worse. Here are some ideas as to how that might manifest in their suite of post-Ascension powers…
Divine Grace: The Knight’s faith acts as a literal suit of armor, perhaps invisible, or perhaps made of shimmering white energy. As long as they’re confident that they will not be harmed, they could walk through an explosion unscathed, simply by virtue of their unassailable conviction. While they needn’t focus directly to keep this ability active, their defenses will drop as soon as their belief wavers, so they’ll have to have sufficiently developed in their personal arc to make the most of this ability.
Templar: When the Knight is near a symbolic manifestation of their cause, or their team’s cause, they are both physically and psychologically empowered, using any of their abilities (Aspect-related or otherwise) with greater skill and magnitude as long as they know that the symbol is there. They needn’t even see it directly, as long as they believe it to be present; obvious destruction of the symbol (which could be a flag, a building, or really any physical representation of what they stand for) will almost certainly shatter this belief, but they don’t have to have a direct line of sight, for example.
Hope Against Hope: The Knight can take the smallest glimmer of Hope and turn it into a great, radiant surge. Once they have reached the height of their control over Hope, they can invoke it to conjure up something they need, something fully real but only present so long as they believe it is. This could be a tool or a weapon at the time it’s needed most, or it could be something more abstract – a single moment of opportunity, perhaps, or maybe a message or a sign that the tides are turning. This is a very abstract and powerful ability and its limits are all-but-nonexistent, but it can only be called upon when all Hope seems lost, and the Knight truly relies on their faith against all the evidence that such faith is senseless.
Personality: The Knight of Hope’s zealotry might seem obnoxious to the, uh, less persuaded among their teammates, but it’s also what sets them apart and gives them much of their strength. What they really need to work through isn’t their conviction or stubbornness but rather their tendency towards burnout, and their constant anxiety that their faith isn’t adequate, that they aren’t holding up to their own standards. This doesn’t necessarily mean they should let their guard down or allow their beliefs to lapse or weaken, they’ve just got to learn that sometimes it’s best to let your actions speak for themselves, and to remain fully committed to practicing what they preach. If they can do this, they can do just about anything.
Their interests, outside of their religion or philosophical code, might involve some symbolic representation of belief or personal truth – role-playing, fiction writing, or dramatic reenactment are all possibilities. The common thread is that each activity involves significant creative energy and active, sustained suspension of disbelief – the very forces that the Knight will rely on over the course of their personal journey through the Game.
Songs: I’vve got a feww of these in mind already… 8y wwhich I mean I’m attemptin a rare and highly dangerous x3 Goats combo ::::p
Last Man on Earth by the Mountain Goats
Hail St. Sebastian by the Mountain Goats
Romans 10:9 by noted North Carolina Christian/Pagan ska/metal alt/pop five-piece, the Mountain Goats
Also like, viva la vida by coldplay or somethin
Anywways!! I hope you enjoyed readin this analysis; I certainly enjoyed wwritin it!! Thanks for the ask ^^^^v^^^^

Homesquared Chapter 2
Ohh the part where we get to see the Kids rendered! Id seen panels here and there of these three but now I get to see them see them :D
Vrissy lol cute
LOVING that symbolism of shedding the brackets like a snake sheds its skin, renewal of the ouroborous what is canon becomes non canon what is non canon becomes canon again
Also implying that over time like a snakeskin, Canon will just always degrade to being Non Canon, until its unceremoniously shaken off all at once and becomes Canon but Different each time
Man baby Tavros is just like, exactly like a baby Jake, is he gonna get nicknamed too? or not a problem since Troll Tavros isnt around anyway?
Actually, related: Names being associated with Heart should have been obvious all this time as Unique Identifiers seperating seperate people and identities like the walls between Souls, but it’s nice to have that sorta made explicitly clear, can probably add Names next to Heart’s symbols like Hats
and from that, People sharing the same unique identifier, like all Dirk’s simply being called Dirk, is probably referencing that they are all each part of the Hive-MIND of the being called Dirk
I do remember that once in Homestuck Brain Ghost Dirk was labeled as the full title, even when him and real Dirk never interacted, but now here he is just simply Dirk.
Aww, Tavros speaks in Gamzee purple ): That hurts my soul, that Gamzee would have affected his own self so deeply
Good on ya though Tavros for beating the shit out of his dead body, I’d have done the same
On the next note eyy here’s that bucktoothed child that somehow also encapuslates the rule of every strider being attractive-looking, Harry!
His design is genuinely cute! And maybe a bucktoothed nod to how Roxy may have ended up looking in a timeline where they decided Male was a gender they wanted
Now that I’ve been introduced to all three of the Kids I’m definitely gonna keep my eyes on any classpect stuff for them, which may or may not be relevant ever at some point in this comic maybe? Cuz like, Dirk and Terezi and Rosebot are all up to starting another session and Homesquared so far feels very like the “Journey of the Second Generation” and we just know theres bound to be sburb stuff happening sometime
With the main juicy tidbit being, are their classpects just gonna be mixes of their parents? Unique to them but also with the influence of the parentage, or are they gonna be entirely different?
Like, Harry just from first impression I can definitely see as being a Rogue of Breath, it’s fitting so far
Tavros then could either be a Maid of Hope or a Page of Life, tho I’m HEAVY leaning towards Maid of Hope seeing as that progression would be “relying on others at first for their hope, then learning to create hope for themselves” versus Page of Life being someone incompetently acting out confidence and authority until they gain a truer understanding of it and become rulers in their own right
First impressions fit that very nicely
Vrissy I think genetically is actually meant to be like, Vriska’s true descendant? I think? Like how Aranea was to Vriska, they have that looking up to the other and modeling after their behaviors as a role model dynamic going on, so in all likelihood Vrissy is at least a Light player, but I guess in the troll’s case the class is more up to the individual in question, but Vrissy will no doubt be trying to act out her own Class through seeing the comparisons in Vriska’s Behaviour, same as Vriska Molded her image of Her Ancestor as Thief-like growing up despite Aranea actually being a Sylph, so we may get more clues to Vrissy’s class by seeing how Vrissy idolizes and embellishes what traits she sees in Vriska, so far, she seems to be focusing on how Vriska kills bad people and is straight to the point about it, so nothing really yet. Vrissy seems to be really acting confident around Vriska, but not sure if that’s because she doesn’t really think Vriska is all that cool, or she does and is trying to impress her (The latter being very Vriska behaviour lol)
“ VRISKA: If you want to keep Hanging Out, I mean. Which I assume you Do. “ comes to mind, so definitely think this is Vrissy’s behavioural attempt at wanting in with the Cool People. Try to clarify that she is wanted from the people she values without coming off as wanting to want it haha
Overall she is definitely quite confident and is very open with what she knows and what she doesn’t, suggesting perhaps a Page-y behaviour? we’ll see
it would be like, a perfect little mirror for Vriska to see a younger healthier more stable version of herself literally acting and being like the thing she used to hate and torment herself and others about
so yeah, intital classpect thoughts, really liking these so far:
Tavros: Maid of Hope
Harry: Rogue of Breath
Vrissy: Page of Light
Damn Vriska is gonna get so much emotional trauma whiplash from all the normalcy on Earth C “What do you mean they dont have incinerators at school? where do they put all the viciously murdered bodies??”
“There is something incredibly reassuring, Tavros thinks, about someone who has absolute outward confidence in themselves. The soothing lull of following a simple direction is so overpowering it blots out the logical part of him that knows this is, perhaps, the most outlandishly stupid succession of decisions he has ever made. “
Yeah it is pretty comfortable behavior for a Maid class that isn’t confident to be more confident being led by someone, then again that is also pretty normal behavior for someone who has been abused like Tavros has been.
Hmmm, We get into the nitty gritty of what trauma might do to a person’s classpect as well, assuming the system is more nurture based than predestined nature based. I still lean towards it being predestined nature based, you were always going to be who you ended up being etc Homestuck is just like that after all where Nurture is valued and is absolutely an influence, but with Nature being tied up in timelines and predestination, its just sort of already taking Nurture into account when it’s basing on Nature, Nurture is just inherently a part of Nature already and etc
Imode, Silas and Avril are all 5 letter names, wonder if theres any significance to that? I’m reminded of 5 being a number that pops up in Hiveswap a lot, wonder if it just means “Normal Human bullcrap” in symbolism terms
“JANE: Oh, Tavros, no!
JANE: He wouldn’t--
JANE: Tavros loves his Gamzee! Those rebels must have captured my sweet baby and corrupted his mind.
JANE: My family! My entire family!
JANE: This cannot go unavenged.“
good old Jane, man she is just gone full tilt into only valuing her own perspective of things, her own wants and needs and expectations and the fact that she doesn’t even have a hint of what Tavros’s real situation is like, and she’s already set up to disbelieve any attempt at reconciliation with him
“I’m not bad/evil, it’s everyone else that’s out to get me and my family, even my own family is out to get me.”
hah lol ending on Harry’s “o shit” is great

New Leadership Update
Hello, everyone!  Mod Tom, here.  It’s been three days since I took over, and exactly one (1) person submitted an OC to be SBURB’d.  I can tell that it won’t be easy reviving a blog with an entirely new premise, so allow me to revise a few things.
There are three characters submitted to the first SBURB session: The one submitted by a wonderful follower, one offered by a friend of mine, and one of my own that I created to speed things up.  I’m waiting off for one more character, but if I don’t get one, then I’ll just make another.  That’s not an issue, the point of this is to allow me to write sessions instead of analyzing them.  However, if you wish to be part of this session, or another one, just submit an OC in the submissions tab.  I’m sure there will be a lot more submissions after the first SBURB post.
In the time I was waiting for more characters, though, I’ve been answering all of the unanswered asks in the askbox.  Don’t ask why, I was bored.  I’m like mostly done with it through it though, and I only spent like two days on it.  Seeing this, I figure that I might have been to quick on the draw in my decision to not answer asks, but at the same time I’m crying with these constant 12 player sessions.  Let’s compromise a bit.
SBURB Storytime (that’s what I’m calling it now) will not be the main focus of this blog.  You can submit your characters, in fact please do so I can make those posts more common here, but I will also answer asks, just like we did all those years ago.  For anyone stumbling upon the blog for the first time, here are our main services:
Quadrant Analysis: Just submit two, or a group of, classpects and I will play matchmaker with them.
Classpect Assignment: Tell us all the juicy details about you and I will give you my hottest take of what your classpect is.
Classpect Analysis: Give me a god tier and I’ll explain what it is.
Land/Quest Analysis: Give me a god tier and I’ll give you a land and a quest.  Or you can give me the land, too.
Fraymotifs: Give me a god tier (additional info optional) and I’ll give you some fraymotifs.
Other Things, Probably: Idk dude, it’s been a while.  Homestuck question? Ask.
(New!) OC Generator: Give me a god tier and I’ll give you an entire character, why not?
However, you know what can of worms I’m not gonna open?  Session Analysis.  I know, the name of this blog is literally “Homestuck Session Analysis,” but you want to know why this blog dies every time it’s revived?  As soon as the askbox opens, like twenty 12 Player Sessions pop up.  I’m not dancing that dance again.  Session Analyses will be replaced with SBURB Storytime.
What is SBURB Storytime?  Every now and then I’ll write a short story/highlight wheel using whatever original characters were submitted using the template in the submissions tab, but probably mostly my own characters.  Whatever OCs I use will be properly sourced using the tumblr url that sent the submission.  Submit away!
I’m going to reopen the askbox soon, as soon as I finish the last four Forgotten Asks and our first SBURB Storytime.  That should be by the end of the 22nd, just because I’ll be a bit busy irl.  I’m going to queue all of these posts, one post a day, for the next 10 days, in the meantime.  Maybe I’ll change my mind about the session analyses by then, I dunno.
One last thing, to be more Homestuck-y and to be more up-to-date, I’m changing my mod tag from Tom to Maso.  It’ll probably cause a little confusion to long-term followers to the blog, but I think there’s only like 10 of you who are still active anyway, maximum.
Thank you for your patience and patronage to the blog,
]>>Maso<<[

Two things, if you don't mind a Bard of Mind being greedy. First, how powerful do you think a Bard of Mind and Prince of Blood together would be? Fraymotifs, you name it. Second, uh, what do you think the classpect would be of a person who's hard to understand, loves animals, looks down on people, loves memes and has a large vocabulary? Sorry if this is a lot. :P
a bard of mind would be able to influence the destruction of mind/destruction through mind. a prince of blood actively destroys blood/through blood. both of these can be taken in the literal and metaphorical sense.
for the literal, a bard of mind literally being by someones side as they walk the path into many different mental disorders. peoples sanity gone with the help of the bard of minds suggestion. the prince of blood literally destroying blood. they destroy the blood in someone. you kinda need blood to live, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
now, for the metaphorical. mind can mean clearness of mind, thinking, judgement, blending in. so a bard of mind would be able to influence the destruction of clear thinking and judgement and blending in. maybe alcohol or drugs are involved in that, maybe constant second guessing because they just want to be annoying little shit. blood can mean relationships, bonds, commitments, promises, so a prince of blood can literally uproot relationships with ease. fifty year marriage? no biggie, one bra that belongs to neither parties in the right place and done. oh, you promised your mom youd be at your sisters funeral and have a eulogy? too fucking bad, im here and want all your attention. (destroying through blood B;^) ).
i can see illegal substances being the bards best friend in the passive destruction of mind. “oh, just one line and youll be fine. its fun!” next thing the guy knows, theyre an addict who missed the birth of their child because they were having one hell of a crash after the biggest bender of their life. for destroying literal blood, 🔪 stab stab motherfucker.
the two as a duo? oh god. one combo is the bard takes you to a party and before you know it, youve popped a few pills you dont know anything about and you think that couch right there is the hottest damn person you ever laid eyes on. you pass out after making sweet, sweet love with that couch and the prince takes that blood from you with little resistance. they either slice and dice, or just use a syringe and get a couple pints to sell for some quick cash.
as for the classpect of that person, i cant go off of that simple a description. youre more than welcome to message me so we can chat and i can ask some questions!

Oh god this is so long I'm sorry
Okay so I’m making a Bloodswap fanventure (Bc I’m trash ;)) and I heard you did session analyses, so here I am!  It’s kind of like Hivebent, except everyone has different titles and I’m not sure how their personalities would change the outcome.  Here are the players’ info:
Gamzee (Burgundy) –> Bard of Time, Derse dreamer, Land of Tents and Melody. Likes pranks, speaks sign language, killed by a rockslide in a FLARPing incident. Able to hear the voices of the dead. Tends to get quiet at times, but is usually pretty peppy.
Eridan (Bronze) –> Prince of Breath, Derse dreamer, Land of Wrath and Zephyr. Enjoys science, especially chemistry, and is avid in writing Troll Star Trek fanfiction. Spends a lot of time RPing on the internet. Hesitant to try new things. Has a bit of a superiority complex.
Feferi (Gold) –> Witch of Doom, Prospit dreamer, Land of Dew and Fire. Very sporty, sassy as all getout, loves making terrible jokes. Believes her memes are the best memes on the planet. Will not hesitate to verbally roast a bitch if need be.
Kanaya (Candy) –> Sylph of Blood, Derse dreamer, Land of Rays and Haze. Reserved, loves fashion, decent at painting, dubbed the Mom Friend. Hides blood color from the public by lying, but other than that, very true to her word. Acts like a bronze blood, has candy red.
Terezi (Olive) –> Seer of Heart, Derse dreamer, Land of Thought and Tea. Excited about everything, hoarder of nature themed items, blind and relies on smell, loves bugs to an extreme. Has a very poorly timed sense of humour, and doesn’t have much of a filter.
Karkat (Jade) –> Knight of Space, Prospit dreamer, Land of Pulse and Frogs. Constantly harsh on and unsure of himself. Creative, but never finishes anything he starts. Loves shitty TV shows. Very impatient and blunt. Sees taking care of the Mother Grub as a burden instead of an honour.
Nepeta (Teal) –> Rogue of Mind, Derse dreamer, Land of Little Cubes and Flow. Against the idea of a caste system, quite a troublemaker, very passionate about interests. Never able to decide one thing over another. Very brash at times, but is able to take charge when needed.
Equius (Cobalt) –> Heir of Light, Prospit dreamer, Land of Caves and Treasure. Very adventurous, loves exploring. Very good at programming various types of software. Very superstitious, and is adamant about his beliefs. Not controlling, but can be pushy at times. Has all the luck. All of it.
Vriska (Indigo) –> Thief of Void, Prospit dreamer, Land of Maps and Silence. Quiet, very antisocial, stays in the background most of the time. Steampunk trash. Somewhat of a kleptomaniac, mainly steals writing utensils. Good at keeping secrets, often successfully lies through things.
Aradia (Purple) –> Maid of Rage, Prospit dreamer, Land of Quartz and Mirth. Often feels unattached to reality, disassociates quite a bit. Usually angry at herself and afraid of disappearing. Often questions belief in the Mirthful Messiahs. Can be very stubborn, but is good at cheering people up.
Tavros (Violet) –> Page of Hope, Prospit dreamer, Land of Sand and Angels. Very optimistic, sees the glass as half-full. Quite naive, willing to believe anything anyone says. Loves animals, probably vegetarian. Calms Sollux’s lusus with paps instead of killing lusii to keep her quiet.
Sollux (Fuchsia) –> Mage of Life, Derse (and Prospit) dreamer, Land of Brains and Glass. Talkative, impulsive, likes diving right into things. Interested in video games and coding. Has low self esteem, covers it up with a self-deprecating joke and an “ayy lmao.” Doesn’t handle responsibility well.
The first big problem they face is the fact that Sollux decided it was a good idea to prototype his two-headed Horrorterror lusus, because now the Black King is really big. Great job, Sol. Assuming they defeat the Black King, the next part of the plan is for the Black Queen to grow vengeful and hop into the Kidswap Betas’ session, grow stronger like Jack Noir did, and return to the trolls’ session to possibly erase their chances of success.
They also keep getting “pestered” by an overly-excitable Heir of Space (John), a pop-punk cool kid Seer of Time (Rose), a creepily cutesy Witch of Light (Jade), and an awkward bedroom-dwelling Knight of Breath (Dave). It’s kind of like how the kids were trolled in their session except the opposite.
I’m still working on the human session and how the Black Queen’s going to do the thing, and I might come back to ask about the kid session, but my main focus is the trolls right now. What do you think their success rate would be?? I’m so sorry this was so long ugh
=========================================================================================================================
Okay, before I even get into it, two things. One: this has been sitting in my inbox for way too long and I am so sorry, and two i absolutely LOVE the classpects of the beta kids, but I’ll get to them later!
On with the lengthy analysis!
Tumblr media
So, let’s get something out of the way. You have the same classes and aspects, just shuffled around. Therefore I don’t even need to address the active/passive balance, Knight, Space and Time players, and everything else present. We’re all pretty familiar with that stuff as it is! Things are looking pretty good!
You’ve given me literally everything about the characters, so for that alone I’m going to put in as much effort as I can muster for this. Thank you so much, it helps a lot.
Well, why don’t we go in blood caste order!
Gamzee
First off is Gamzee and OH BOY ALARM BELLS!!! Almost all of the classpects in this session I’ve dealt with before and the Bard of Time is no exception! A destruction class with any cardinal aspect is big danger, but as far as they go I would be tempted to say Bard of Time is one of the more preventable (nowhere near as dangerous as its active counterpart, but still dangerous!).
Most of his personality quirks seem to align themselves with not being too destructive at all, actually! A dead Bard of Time is the best kind of Bard of Time imo, so hopefully you’ve saved yourself a bit there! However, if you really want to cause some havoc, the Bard of Time could direct people in the complete wrong direction and, as a ghost, have no regard for stable time loops at all, causing a lot of problems (THAT COULD EVEN LEAD TO THE RISE OF LE if you’re going for that of course lmao). This Gamzee actually seems like a pretty chill dude, so hopefully he’ll be ok! I can see him being friends with Karkat and maybe even Equius! He would need to make sure his pranks didn’t get the better of him and lead him on a destructive rampage!
Eridan
Oh lord you are after my own heart. My favourite Prince (one of my god tiers >:D) and a fantastic role for Eridan, the Prince of Breath is one of the least “Bad News” Princes in the game. You definitely seem to know what you’re talking about too, as a Prince of Breath would be hesitant to try new things (or outright destroy them!) and would definitely have a bit of a superiority complex!
If you want to look it in a positive way, Eridan could forge bonds in the team out of the destroyed freedom, or even destroy the freedom of the enemy! If you want to make Eridan the bad guy he is in the canon, you could get him to destroy the freedom and confidence of the team, possibly by blowing up their meteor, chopping someones legs off, etc! It’s up to you to decide!
Feferi
Oh thank god, the best Feferi. I love your writing of her so much (incidentally, if you end up making this let me know!).
The Witch of Doom Feferi would be able to manipulate and control the Doom in the session or just in general! No one would be dying on her watch, and could take the death or restrictions of the team and place it upon the enemy! If any member of the team were to sacrifice themselves, much like a Rogue of Doom Feferi could move that sacrifice onto the enemy!
I can still see Feferi being friends with the same people, possibly even more!
Kanaya
Now if there was ever a counter to the Prince of Breath, this would be it! Well... apart from a Sylph of Breath but that’s beside the point!
Kanaya being the Sylph of Blood would be able to mend any relationship or bond in the session, making it one with great teamwork! The dubbing of her being the “Mom Friend” would be very accurate indeed, as she would Meddle And Fuss in relationship and make sure that everyone was getting along!
Of course, I could definitely see a rift between her and Eridan, as they each would take different approaches toward teamwork and making friends (or making people be friends with others!). That is a little of an oversimplification, but we really don’t know a whole lot about her class and her aspect!
Terezi
Being the Seer of Heart, Terezi would work very well with Kanaya, instincively knowing an awful lot about people’s emotions, and be able to read people very well, despite being blind! In terms of personality differences based on the change of aspect, I could see (hehe) her changing the most!
Although she would be able to read people well, she may struggle with knowing how to use this information and when to apply it, as well as possibly not knowing her own sense of belonging and identity, leading to some possible complications. A good moirail would be useful, possibly even Kanaya!
She may also find it hard to know when to use her emotions, which would go well with her poor comedic timing and over-excitable personality! However, through the adventure she would learn to deal with this!
Karkat
Gee, I really don’t know why you’re coming to me, because this is a very adept analysis of Karkat is he was to be a Knight of Space! Again, love the classpect, a personal favourite.
I can see this classpect working very well with Karkat’s already existing temperament, as his creations would be very good and interesting, but he would see them as pointless and awful, going as far as to stop working on them simply because he thinks he isn’t good enough. Knight of Space and inferiority/self-confidence go together like (enter witty Homestuck reference here), and I can definitely back it up on this one! Karkat would definitely struggle with raising the mother grub and breeding the Genesis Frog, but with good enough support I can definitely feel like he can do it!
The main problem here is that the Space player instructs the Knight, and if someone is a Knight of Space, perhaps they would need to be guided by...nothing? By that I mean VOID PLAYER!
Karkat would definitely have a lot of room to grow, but largely it would be quite similar to his canon arc, just with space instead of leadership!
Nepeta
Rogue of Mind is a classpect which I haven’t had much to do with, but that doesn’t mean I don’t work with it! Nepeta would have trouble applying herself when it comes to analysis and calm-headedness, but would learn how to use her talents of the Mind!
Nepeta would have a general ability for Mind but not realize it, which may go hand in hand with her thinking the caste system is a bad idea (because it is!!). She, like you mentioned, would have trouble deciding on things, as she may wax and wane on issues which are actually pretty important, and not understand the gravity of the situation.
I LOVE the idea of a troublemaker Nepeta, and I feel like with her personality she would be ok at it! Maybe she could hang out with Gamzee sometimes (do i hear moirail in order to protect the timeline? i think i do >:))
Equius
I’m glad to see Equius get a bit of light! He deserves all of the luck (aaaaaaaall of it!).
Equius would hold fast in what he thinks is right and good in the world, and would often be protected by his own good luck. The Heir of Light is quite similar to the Heir of Hope, but there are definitely differences! Equius would often strike the jackpot when adventuring and exploring, adding to his already substantial hoard of money and treasure, thanks to his good luck.
Equius would be superstitious, of course, and would probably cop flack about it from his peers, and may be subconscious about it!
Vriska
Ah, the Vrisk. I take back what I said about Terezi, this is definitely the most unlike the original character! That’s perfectly fine though!
Vriska, as the Thief of Void, would do the exact opposite of what she does in the canon source, as in she would take away the insignificance from things! She would enable other people to shine brightly, but may use this darkness and irrelevance to wreak some kleptomaniac trouble! Perhaps she and Equius could be in a mutually beneficial relationship, with her providing him relevance and him providing her cool steampunk stuff!
Vriska would definitely steal stuff, and I would imagine that she would be an avid hoarder of other peoples secrets, loving to get some sweet goss to blackmail people if she needed! She would be a master manipulator from and with the shadows, but would still be pretty well liked!
Aradia
Aradia would have issues with internalized Rage, and would rely on other people for power, anger, and other things related to her aspect.
She would also suffer from Rage a bit, like how Jane as the Maid of Life suffers from having so much energy to do things but is restricted!
Aradia would definitely feel unattached, due to her questioning of her own anger and emotions, and may sometimes rely too much on the wrong people, who either manipulate her or simply can’t or won’t help.
Despite that, she would end up being very good at using her anger to create things and directly heal others, possibly through sheer determination! She would be very powerful and may simply, in some kind of purple frenzy, create the end for many of her enemies! I haven’t looked much into the Maid of Rage, but you can count on her being equally as scary!
Tavros
Well, we’re in luck here because we’ve already got a canon Page of Hope, our buddy Jake English who, funnily enough, Tavros is quite good friends with!
I can definitely see Tavros as a good Page of Hope, and being very optimistic and guillible, definitely to a fault. Just like in the source material, I could still see Vriska manipulate him a bit, but with Tavros having a bit more confidence and a hell of a lot more power in terms of blood type, he wouldn’t have much of a problem!
I could actually see Tavros progress quite nicely, either that or being killed in some kind of horrific accident with Sollux’s lusus! I also love that Tavros paps the lusii. Adorable.
Sollux
My man Sollux. I’ll be honest, I’m totally bias and I LOVE Sollux, and this is probably going to be longer, as not only do I love Sollux, but I also have quite the extensive knowledge of the Mage of Life!
Like Mage of Doom Sollux, Mage of Life Sollux would suffer from bipolar, probably worse than he already has it, due to him suffering from life and energy. He would be a lot more free and able to do what he wants, but would still struggle with the fact that there is a fixed amount of Life for everything.
Like any good person suffering from Life, he would be very impulsive and talkative, like you state, as he would act first and think later. He would also struggle with authority, like other Life players do, and being in a high position in the caste would make him not be able to handle responsibility well.
====================================================
Well, you seem to have done a pretty good job so far! You’ve got enough complications to make something bad happen, but also enough good things to maybe not let everyone die!
Beta Kids
I’m not going to analyse the Beta kids, but I will tell you that you’ve definitely got the right idea, and I encourage you to be confident with their personalities! John and Rose wouldn’t change much, but Jade and Dave would be influenced by their aspect. It’s fine as you have it though! I would love to see their interactions with the trolls!
Overall Analysis
Depending on how you want things to go, I could give this between a 50% of success and a 90% chance of success! The characters would work quite well together, and I can definitely see a lot of different dynamics at work! If you ever end up making this a thing, link me it, it sounds really interesting!
And that is THAT done! Hope you enjoyed!

What do you think of a mixed session(kids+trolls) where literally everyone has psychic powers of some sort? There’s a Bard of Heart, Page of Doom, Maid of Mind, and Mage of Time(kids), Seer of Space, Theif of Hope, Knight of Rage, and Sylph of Void(trolls). Basically the session went with the strongest(physical) character at the start being the Maid of Mind, who needs the most character development. The Theif of Hope keeps trying to become the main hero, fails miserably, but learns to be an ally to the cause instead. The Seer of Space became a cowboy with the Knight of Rage basically being the Hulk, and the Mage of Time working from the shadows. At the end the Sylph of Void becomes the main villain and the Bard of Heart and Page of Doom, who’d been level grinding, unleash their endgame fraymotif to win the game. Also the psychic powers each player heals ties into their Classpects! The Maid has telepathy, the Page can sense bad omens, the Seer can scan the entire area, the Bard can peer into your soul, the Mage can see all the timelines at once, the Theif can talk to deities, the Knight can manipulate emotions, and the Sylph can tell where hidden things are. (The Mage starts as the one with the best power at first but at the end I think the OP ones are the Page and Maid?)
What do you want me to asses here technically? That’s an interesting like, scenario of a Session, but nothing particularly pops up! It’s plausible, yeah, and you could probably do something interesting with it, but there’s not One Path things could head down, and I’m always somewhat nervous about making it seem like my way of seeing things is the BEST way a story could go down! It’s a good set-up, is what I think, basically.

Excuse the fact that I hit the ask button too early, please? Hehe, whoops. Anyways, I was going to ask if you wouldn’t mind doing an analysis of a rogue of light whenever you’ve got time, please? Thanks! I hope you’re having a great day/night/whatever time it is for you. :)
I wouldn’t mind at all! Here’s our second Rogue and our second Light player. Sorry for the delay!! Requests have been comin in at a rather rapid rate recently (thank you all!) but without further ado, here’s my take on the…
Title: Rogue of Light
Title Breakdown: One who passively steals [redistributes, equalizes, re-appropriates] Light [information, attention, awareness, and fortune]
Role in the Session: So, where the Thief of Light perceives a lack of information and attention (by way of secrecy, manipulation, and so forth) in their life, the Rogue of Light perceives a lack of familiarity with information, attention, and fortune. They’re not incompetent with their Aspect as a Page is, nor are they haphazardly and overtly avoidant of it as a Bard might be – they simply have strong misgivings with regard to their Aspect, and are hesitant to enter its domain for fear that they will be surrendering a degree of control, or fundamentally losing or changing something about themselves.
Of course, as a Passive Class, the Rogue does surrender a degree of control – in the sense that ultimately, all of their abilities flow in the direction of rebalancing their Aspect. The “fear/hesitance in the face of Light” present in this Rogue, I would interpret as a sort of stage-fright – early on, attention is going to be the last thing the Rogue wants, and they’re likely to find themselves at first unwillingly thrust into Life’s domain. Perhaps they’ll stumble into the spotLight, as it were, unwittingly drawing attention to themselves (for better or worse). They might also stumble upon a cache of crucial information that they’re unable to interpret, or don’t know what to do with. Especially prior to Ascension and the realization of their power, the Rogue of Light might be rather observant and astute, figuring things out before other players, but doubting the accuracy of their own observations.
As the Rogue progresses in the Game, and in understanding their own talents, they’ll be tasked with a Quest, likely one involving information and/or communication. Perhaps the obstacle here is darkness – their Denizen has hoarded the fire or electricity or whatever else, and left their Planet literally benighted. The Rogue may have to put together a great deal of information, and then relay that information to the appropriate recipient – and the information itself may be transmitted in a foreign language, stored in corrupted files, or encoded by some mechanism with which the Rogue is not (yet) familiar. Beyond the specifics of their quest, their general path of development would be towards reconciliation with their Aspect – realizing that sometimes it is okay to attract attention, and sometimes leaving things unsaid can have problematic consequences. A Seer of Blood might be a valuable companion to the Rogue, helping to reconnect the Rogue with their team and step out of the shadows, so to speak. Alternatively slash additionally, a Knight of Mind would make extraordinarily efficient use of the information a well-developed Rogue of Light could provide, and their collaboration could produce schemes and plots of a significant magnitude.
Opposite Role: The Knight of Void (which Knight I will be covering very soon, as there is a request for that analysis in the queue!). This Knight “weaponizes, defends, or fights/acts in service of nothingness, mystery, and ineffability,” which is to say, arguably stands in direct opposition to the Rogue’s quest and personal goals! This relationship is unlikely to be especially healthy (although it is far from impossible that it would work out, given how many more facets there are to a relationship’s functioning beyond the Class/Aspect information presented here). More to the point, the presence of these two players on a team is almost certain to be a less-than-positive influence on team collaboration, regardless of their personal relationships, as their Aspects’ opposition will tug them in, well, opposite directions. On the positive side, if the session were marked by an excessive accumulation of Void (plenty of secret-keeping between team members or even direct influence from the Furthest Ring; this would be unlikely in a session featuring a Knight of Void but we’ll roll with it), the Rogue could help balance it out, allowing the Knight to maintain their influence over Void while providing them enough Light so as to not succumb to over-embracing the Aspect.
God Tier Powers
Light is the Associational-Actual Aspect, meaning most of the domains over which it has influence are concentrated in epistemological understanding of what actually is, and most of its energies flow towards socialization, exposition, and clarity, especially with regard to communication. Also, of course, Light is literal light. A few ideas…
Trick of the Light: The Rogue briefly “steals the light” from their target, vanishing in a coruscating flare of heatless light that leaves observers briefly blinded and dazed. This has the handy side-effect of granting the Rogue themselves the stolen Light, allowing them to see the entirety of the space they occupy, including the position of any hazards and the path to any exits. It’s going to be rather hard to keep this Rogue pinned down.
Balanced Outlook: The Rogue of Light’s role is to rebalance and re-organize information and attention, not just within the outside world, but within themselves. Therefore, it’s likely that our Rogue, once well-developed and Ascended, would be able to perceive which pieces of information are relevant and which ones are not with remarkable accuracy. Like an expert detective, they would be able to note each particular element of a scene, and realize what its right place within the sum of their own knowledge is.
Giver of Light: The Rogue is a Class noted for its tendency towards generosity and also, once developed, daringness, so perhaps a God-Tier Rogue of Light might incorporate some Prometheus imagery. Once they have stolen the Light, be that intel, means of perception, or access to information, from those who were once hoarding it, they can show it to their Team, granting their allies almost instantaneous access to the information the Rogue needs, so long as they have it. This could lead to incredible feats of co-operation, but also to intra-team conflict, as, doubtless, each member of the team will have their own thoughts on how this information might be applied. Prometheus, noted generous stealer of the knowledge of fire, paid a great price for his daring and heroism… the Rogue should be careful that they do not sacrifice themselves in service to Light’s calling.
Personality: Rogues are known for their generosity, as mentioned above, but also for their hesitance and uncertainty. A Rogue of Light might find themselves hesitant to commit to one line of study, or wary of any attention they receive for their work. They might also just be shy in general. I’d imagine the Rogue would be attracted naturally, if unwittingly, to scientific fields (if not, necessarily, “hard sciences”, although I rather like the idea of an optical physicist Rogue of Light). Alternatively, they could be a photographer, documenting interesting and novel sights to share with their friends! Their work would likely focus on non-human subjects, due to the Rogue’s general reticence regarding attention, and their subjects would likely choose them more than they chose their subjects, due to Light’s subtle influence on their Light. Though some more… dynamic? Aggressive? Outgoing? people might be frustrated with the Rogue’s standoffishness, the Rogue certainly wouldn’t be an unfriendly or deliberately deceptive person; they would, however, have to overcome their instinctual avoidance of forthcomingness.
Songs: Let’s see what I’ve got here… (You may be noticing that Goats songs and cheesy emo-pop predominate in this section of my analyses; as yr friendly neighborhood Thief of Time, I’ll be the first one to say that my knowledge of and taste for music is intense, but less than broad.)
For the Portuguese Goth Metal Bands by the Mountain Goats
The Young Thousands by… … … the Mountain Goats (2x Goats combo XXXD)
Sight of the Sun by Fun.
…and that’s what I’ve got for the Rogue of Light!! I hope that you found this, uhm, illuminating! For yourself / the character you’re creating, and thank you for the request!! Requests remain open; there is now a queue, but feel free to continue to send questions re: Classpects, Lands/Planets/Quests, and other related realms of analysis, just do note that the delay may be slightly longer than usual. And I’m having a lovely afternoon, by the way; thank you!! ::::3
