Macaque

macaque started living at your place after the defeat of LBD and it was a weird adjustment for him

he’s not the type for a more domestic life but he loved you and didn’t want to leave you alone all the time

you were happy to have him there but you could tell he was struggling with the adjustment

mostly all the sounds, it irritated his ears

you do live in the city after all and you’re used to the sounds.

to help you got him a pair of noise-canceling headphones

you rarely see macaque without them which you don’t mind

the two of you exchanged small notes to each other

macaque finds it cute especially when you drawing things on the notes

you got blue and purple sticky notes for this

you like things that are color coded, it was one the charms that macaque liked about you

the first couple of days you spent together, macaque won’t sleep in the same bed with you

not that you minded, you loved macaque and respected his space since he’s rarely touchy with you mostly bc he’s not much of fan but also abandonment issues

but one night, you felt him slip into the bed from behind you, his arms wrapped around your waist, his face buried in your neck and his tail was curled around one of your ankles.

he likes your warmth and after that night, he’s gotten clingy with you

clingy to the point where he’s protective, like very protective

you’ve heard him hiss at people before

you started to think that your monkey boyfriend was half-cat

he loves your touch, you’ve heard him purr sometimes when you pet him when the two of you chill on the couch

you love have your emo monkey boyfriend in your home

Sun Wukong

after a lot begging from wukong, you finally gave in and moved in with him on Flower Fruit Mountain

he was a happy monkie and hugged you as soon as you showed up

wukong’s little monkeys were just as happy to see you as your monkey boyfriend

They took turns hugging you 😭

though you had your gripes with living on Flower Fruit Mountain, you found that it was quite peaceful living far away from the crowd city

wukong knew the stress you’ve experienced while living there so he thought if you lived with him you’d be able to get a sense of peace

you really took on a housewife persona which wukong was surprised by

he wanted to you to relax and let him do everything

yet you said otherwise

you like the idea taking care of household stuff also you want to make this monkey your husband

wukong didn’t stop you from doing what you wanted

when you cook, he’d stand behind you with his arms around your waist, his chin resting on your shoulder as his tail wagged behind him

he’s very flirty and rolls out compliments every so often and you don’t mind, they sometimes make you flustered but you’re so used to wukong’s antics they don’t effect you as much so you flirt back sometimes

It catches him off guard sometimes

sleeping in the same bed was easy for the two of you with you liking to cuddle and wukong being clingy

MK

you and mk have talked about who would move into who’s place

But neither of you could come to an agreement on it

Look you wanted to live with mk yet his apartment seemed too small for the two you yet you lived on the other side of the city, yet your apartment was bigger than mk’s it was a bit inconvenient

After days of rating the pros and cons, the two of you settled on you moving in with mk

pigsy and mk helped you move most of your stuff to mk’s apartment (mostly clothes and other things like that) and your hamster

mk was happy to have you with him

He likes seeing you after a long day, sometimes he even forgets that you live there

an exhausted mk would sometimes stumble through the door, seeing you either on the couch or sitting on the bed in the bedroom, he’d flop down in your lap and rant about his day while you listened as you ran your fingers through his hair

you cook most of the time

you’ve been teaching him how to cook, yes he has blown up the kitchen before

mk did get embarrassed when said you’d like to sleep in the same bad as him

mk.exe has stopped working

you laughed at his reaction, and told him that he didn’t have to agree with it if he didn’t want to

he shook his head rapidly and said he doesn’t mind

he was really tense next to you until the both of you fell asleep and woke up almost on top of each other

you moving in with him was the best thing that happened to mk

He knew he probably shouldn’t have promised to take care of you, but he couldn’t resist- you were just so cute! Despite everyone telling him it was a bad idea, he stuck to his role as your new ‘dad’.

And he never regretted it … until your first tantrum.

The lady bone demon caused a lot of destruction in her pursuit, and your family just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. All things worked out eventually as you ended up being saved by the Monkey King and gang.

At first, you were wary of him. A random, loud Monkey trying to claim being your father? Weird! But over time he earned your trust by actually (surprisingly) not sucking at parenting.

……

You cried and kicked as Monkey king struggled to figure out what to do. You had never acted this way before! It was all his fault though. You wanted to go into Megapolis and play at a park, but he just wasn’t in the mood to fly alllll the way over there!

Honestly, he would’ve just gotten up and taken you if he knew it would end like this. He’s so stressed as never having been on the receiving end of a melt down (usually its him throwing the fit).

In desperation he dialed Mk’s number, letting it ring for a few seconds before his friend picked up, “Hey Monk-“

“-Kid! You gotta help me! They wont stop crying and screaming and.. and they won’t listen to me!” Wukong rushed out. Your screams in the background told MK all he needed to know.

He laughed, “What did you do?”

“Nothing! Why is it always something I did?!” He sighed and caved - explaining his laziness.

“If you don’t wanna take them, offer them something as compensation. Like a snack or something… i dunno?”

Wukong ducked as a doll wizzed by his head. “I tried that already! Didn’t work obviou- OW!” He shouted as a small monkey figurine hit target.

That was it! He quickly finished up his conversation with Mk and ended the call, going over to try and sooth you for the tenth time.By then your tears had dried and your sadness became little baby anger. You gave Wukong the meanest glare you could muster (it did nothing as it was too cute to be scary).

The two of you stood in an imaginary duel, no one wanting to make the first move. After a bit, Wukong surrendered and slowly approached you. He crouched down to where you were sitting on the floor, “Look, i’m really sorry but we can’t go..” He panicked when your face scrunched up again and tears started to form, “Butbutbut! We could always call up uncle Macaque and have him take you!”

That finally put you in a better mood as you jumped up and raced around to try and get ready. Wukong smiled slyly and patted himself on the back for another successful day of parenting. (You were happy and he got to inconvenience Macaque. A win win)

Context: reader is always cold and blankets aren’t enough to keep her warm that’s where wukong comes in

You dragged another blanket into your shared bedroom with Wukong. It was quite chilly tonight on top of Flower Fruit Mountain but you were always cold even before you came to live with Wukong.

He wasn’t home at the moment said he needed to take care of something. He doesn’t normally leave Flower Fruit Mountain since he’s technically retired yet it didn’t bother you if he left or not he’d always be back. But tonight he was bit late than usual.

Sun has become your living heater. Mostly because he has fur and you don’t. That’s why you love him, among other things but mostly because he keeps you warm when you need it.

Tossing the blanket you held onto the bed with the other two that were already, a shiver ran up your spine. You whined as you hopped into the bed, cocooning yourself with the blankets. You wished your boyfriend was here to cuddle you and keep you warm so you don’t need all these blankets.

“Peaches! I’m back!” You perked up, hearing Sun’s voice echo through the cave.

You heard the door of your shared home open. “Peaches? Where are you are?” He called for you.

“Bedroom, Wukong!”

Not even a second later, Wukong was in the bedroom with grin on his face. He chuckled at the sight of you curled up inside the blanket cocoon as laid there face him.

“Peaches, what’s with the blankets?” He asked smiling at the scene.

“I’m cold, Sun.” You replied.

He sighed softly still with smile on his face. “We really need to get you a heated blanket or something, y/n.” He said.

You shook your head. “No, it’s not the same, Sun. I want you, you’re the best heater I got.” You said.

“You mortals and being cold all the time and not to mention clingy.” Wukong said as he walked over to bed to join you after taking off his armor.

You scoffed. “Like you’re one to talk, Wukong.” You said with tired smile on your face.

You snuggled up to him, wrapping your arms around his waist as he did the same.

“I’m your best heater, huh?” Sun asked.

“Absolutely. I need your warmth, Wukong.”

That first time you did it Macaque flinched, I mean don't get me wrong he loves you like from the bottom of his (undead) soul.

But He would be so confused, but ..feeling your body against him feeling how warm your hands are

You don't know how and why but a few minutes later he's hugging you leaning onto your touch making you blink in surprised.

you be like; "NAHH, BECAUSE HOW THE HELL DID THIS EVEN HAPPEN?!" he is attached,. If he could he would hug u until the end of time no cap.

"So like, I need to make dinner."

may I request a silly little one shot where the reader tells their friends they gonna cut their long hair short and MK and Mei take a minute to dramatically say their goodbyes to the reader’s long, lovely locks? And the reader’s just sitting there mostly unfazed until Wukong overhears and bursts in like “You’re gonna what?!” and they know he’s gonna do the same thing. Pigsy’s on he sidelines just watching on like wth is happening?

During one of your daily chatting with the gang at Pigsy’s after work. Unfortunately, this casual chatting turned into straight chaos as soon as something that was meant to be an off handed comment came out of your mouth. 

“I’ve been thinking of cutting my hair…” 

“What?!” Mei screeched. She started dramatically weeping and petting your long hair. “Your poor, beautiful hair!” 

“R.I.P.” MK whispered softly. Then to make a dramatic situation even more loud, Wukong, who hadn’t even been in the building for this whole conversation, slammed the door open. 

“You’re gonna WHAT?!” He shouted. Wukong launches himself across the room and tackles you, knocking your chair over and subsequently sending you and Mei sprawling to the floor with him. Between his and Mei’s dramatic crying about you ‘chopping off your gorgeous hair’ as they put it, you looked almost as confused as Pigsy. 

“Wukong, how long have you been outside?” You asked since he wasn’t inside a second ago but had clearly heard enough about your haircut to have a reaction. 

“Don’t ask questions and answer mine!” He said as he shook his head. “Why would you do this?” 

“Calm down and-” You start only to get cut off by Pigsy finally coming out of his confusion and shouting. 

“GET OFF MY FLOOR AND STOP WRECKING MY SHOP!!!”
