Best of the Best Championship Karate is a martial arts fighting game developed by Futura and Loriciels and released over multiple platforms during 1992 and 1993, with console releases for the SNES and Genesis in 1993. 

While the title of the game says Karate it is in fact based around Kick Boxing. with the Japanese and Korean names for the game being Super Kick Boxing for the SNES in Japan and The Kick Boxing for the Game Boy and Genesis in Japan and Korea. 

Each fighter has their own stats in strength, stamina and resistance with over 50 different moves available for you to choose from, fighters can be trained prior to fights with improvements to the previously mentions stats. defeats have the opposite affect and lower your stats.
