23. What’s a trope, AU, or concept you’ve never written, but would like to?

whoooo boy, you broke a dam asking this! im so excited to answer :D

a deaf!lin beifong au for avatar: the last airbender/legend of korra is at the very top of my list, it’s been rotting my brain for the past month. i am so in love with the beifong family, but lin and toph in particular are my favourites. it would just be so interesting to see how they navigate communication since they can’t exactly use sign language or writing. and i mean, the amount of flangst! (also i personally have such a fascination and interest in sign language for like, no reason at all lol, i even started self-learning recently for funsies (it’s ridiculously hard to find free online resources for auslan compared to asl)) <- this might also apply to question 17 but oh well :3

and and and an au for agents of shield where an alternate variant of skye (known as daisy) escapes into the canon universe sometime after the events of afterlife due to kang the conqueror destroying her own. she trains skye in her powers, we have some lovely maydaisy angst for both universes, and some character death :3

also ghost!lucy for fairy tail where lucy sacrificed herself in the final battle and became lumen histoire, but sticks around as a sort of spirit to help her friends move on bc i’m all about that angst <33

another one is for demon slayer, where a young tanjirō keeps inexplicably skipping through time, non-linearly and uncontrollably, but he always ends up near giyū (and through a series of confusing events and time-wimey misunderstandings, all the hashira believe tanjirō is giyū’s secret little brother ;))

and i could go on all day but no one has time for that so i’mma stop there lol—

40. Do you tend to reread fics or are you a one-and-done kind of person?

oof, it really depends on the fic. i do tend to re-read oneshots, and occasionally longfics if i have the time/when the premise suddenly returns to me and i have this primal urge to reread the whole thing lol. or sometimes i just remember a moment that really stuck out to me and i ctrl + f for it lol.

tldr: yes i do tend to reread fics

I'm kind of wondering why there are no Bayonetta AU fics? Like not Bayonetta fanfic, but the world of Bayonetta becoming the mechanism of that world.

Why don't we see some characters becoming umbra witches/warlocks? Idk maybe Tom from tom and jerry as a lumen sage?

Weird way to find your soulmate – Viktor x Reader

Fandom: Arcane/League of Legends

Pairing: Viktor x reader (my first try on making reader a genre neutral, please let me know what you guys think)

Request: No (Sorry about that…), inspiration under the cut for obvious reasons.

Summary: Viktor is busying working late and his lumen does something embarrassing that makes even the once asleep Jayce uncomfortable…

Warnings: NSFW (minor do not read it); awkward Viktor; Inconvenient Jayce; 

Words: 675 (I am it is shorter, but it was meant to be headcanons but turned into a drabble)

Guys I know I promised to be back, but I will be posting about what inspires me.

(y/n): your name; (y/e/c): your eye’s collor;

Viktor was busy working on his laboratory. Jayce was sleeping over his own desk; he is sleeping for so long that now his snores could be heard from the other side of the corridor. At least that is what Viktor’s think, because Jay is so loud that he cannot hear himself.

Viktor turns around looking for his lumen, it is not by his side as it would normally be. Why is that? He starts looking for you and he finds you under his notes, hidden away from him. He does not understand and get you on his hands to move you.

Your light is flicking like crazy; he never saw you that excited before. He is fascinated about it and pulls a chair to sit on his desk. Gently he sets his lumen on his notebook and watches as the scientist he is. Trying to understand what is making you that flickering.

But he starts hearing a weird sound coming from the ball of light on his front. It is so rare to hear you that he bents over the desk to listen to it better. The sound looks like a frenetic and heavy breathing. ‘Weird…’ He thinks to himself.

Your light starts slowly getting higher, almost blinding. That is when he hears a loud and animalist moan calling his name. His face starts burning and Jayce jumps awaken on the desk. Viktor tries to cover the lumen with his hand as he was covering your naked body.

“Was that…?” Jayce points to the lighting still blinking between his friend’s fingers. “Is your soulmate…?’ By the blushing going down on Viktor’s neck Jayce already knows the answer to his questions…

“Did you at least recognize the voice?” The lean man asks trying to set why that voice was so familiar to begin with. And the image of one of Heimerdinger’s best students takes his mind. The 20’s and something student that talks excitedly about Hextech on the corridors. “Was it (y/n)’s voice?”

After that the boys decided it was better going back to their own rooms so no other accident would happen. Viktor could not sleep; he was rolling over his bed feeling bad about imagining your naked form on his side touching yourself so he can watch it closely.

On the next day he was worse than normally, he was with a cup of coffee at the breakfast table. His eyes were darker than normal because of the sleepless night. Jayce was on the chair before him talking animatedly about the next project, but the undercity man was not listening.

His honey eyes were focused on the main doors, waiting. How should he approach you? You guys only passed by each other on the corridors. Never long enough to your lumens touch each other to show you guys were actually soulmates.

He could not just tell he heard you touching yourself, could he? Does that mean you crush on him as much as him crush on you? He always thought you as beautiful but never thought that this could mean you two were meant to be together.

Your figure enters on the room and your (y/e/c) eyes shine like starts when seeing Jayce and Viktor on a close table. You think about professor’s advice of at least trying to make friendship with Viktor so your heart would stop aching. Maybe now could be the time to try it?

“Hi.” You say happily stopping by Jayce side. Both man goes tomato red and before you can ask if you could sit with them Viktor is up and running as fast as his leg and cane would let him. His accented voice throwing an excuse about forgetting something burning on the lab. “What just happened?”

“Not sure.” Jayce lies and also jumps to his feet following his partner. “I need to check if he didn’t hurt his leg or something.” You look around and pull the chair to sit. You look to your side just to see your lumen hiding on your neck ashamed about something.

5. Top five formative books?

Oooh, hard one. It’s like when someone asks you your favorite movie and suddenly your brain forgets every movie it’s ever seen. What books have I read again?? Well, I’ll try but I don’t think I can put them in any proper order... 

 Anyway:

Lumen ja jään maa-sarja (The Land of Snow and Ice- series) by Ilkka Auer (I felt like putting all four as separate would be kinda cheating)

Anaché and also Arra by Maria Turtschaninoff

Kunnes rauha heidät erotti by Ira Vihreälehto (like… Til Peace Did Them Part? it’s a non-fiction book but)

I wanna say… Bargaining? It’s not a book per say, it’s a. MCU fanfic? Idk bro, I’ve read it a million times and it had a big impact on me when I read it the first time, so I guess. I guess it should count?

Aaaa, what else. Dang, this is hard. You know what, I’ve been trying to think of an answer to this last bit for like a week, but I haven’t come up with anything, so we’ll just have to do with four! Sorry.

Ugh, this was really hard. I’ve read a fair amount of books but I don’t remember that many of them having had that big of an impact on me? Like, say, the HP books or the Hunger Games or something else like that.

“Digging out the tools from his backpack, Russia went over the instructions one last time.”

Kingdom AU: “Aurinko lämmitti mukavasti selkää.”

“The sun warmed her back nicely.”

Also these aren’t the first lines of the stories themselves for the most part, they’re just chronologically the first ones I’ve managed to write lol. The TT bit for example is from book 3 in the 4 book series (which is just how I split up the bits of the story, so far there are 0 books)

34. What’s the word count on your longest fic?

I actually had to go back and check cause I had no idea what my longest fic was. :D

It’s embarrassing to say, but my longest fic is Princess Charm School, my first multi chap fic. It’s nor orginal, but the word count is 16, 833.

The Sacred 28 - (Harry Potter). An AU where Voldemort won, and Draco/Ginny. Fantastic read.

The Big Four and the Shield of Light - (Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons). A Hogwarts AU. This whole series is amazing. This is the sixth one that is now in progress.

The Blacksmith’s Apprentice - (How to Train Your Dragon). An AU where Hiccup never shot down Toothless when he was 15. But all of harrypanther’s work is fricking amazing.

Lost and Found - (How to Train Your Dragon). Hiccup and Astrid are kidnapped, set during RTTE but goes into HTTYD 2 and the Drago arc. Really plays with your feels, Hiccstrid shippers.

Underneath - (How to Train Your Dragon). Royalty AU. Starring Princess Astrid and Squire Hiccup. Super sweet (and I’d also suggest another fic from BlueberryToasterTart called Prince Hiccup the Bachelor. I’m not currently reading it because it’s finished, but i had to put it here. It’s Rated M.)

QueenoftheWilderwest / @wilderwestqueen - Her stuff is so…feely. Like, if you ever wanna relax and smile like a dope at your phone or computer for an hour, I’d go through her fics. She’s also really sweet! ^_^

Lumen del Mari - She only has two fics on her Fanfiction account, but holy hell, they’re amazing. Her Hiccup and Astrid role reversal is to die for. Not kidding.

BeyondTheClouds777 - An amazingly dedicated writer. My favorite stuff of her’s has got to be her between-season fics. She really gets the characters and writes them wonderfully!

Funkytoes / @funkytoes - I started reading her stuff because of her Vampire AU, but I stayed for every other story, because they’re all amazing. Don’t worry about reading all of it too quickly, she’ll have a new AU out soon enough. :D

Sunflowerb - Man. I don’t have the words to describe how much I adore this individual’s writing. Especially Persephone.

43. Is there anyone in your fandom who really inspires you? 

There’s way more than one person, but to name a few, @jennis41digsdragons, @fanwriter02 (you ;) :D), @wilderwestqueen, @snowprincess-artist, and @kingofthewilderwest. There’s so many more, but that’s a bare minimum, at least!

Surprise everyone!

Although I am still working on my other project, I found myself in a bit of a funk experiencing a bit of the old writers’ block.  I spent a couple of days reading some really good fanfic, and i thought maybe flexing the fic muscle might help with my other writing.  

So I am currently five chapters in to a new fic!  Hopefully I’ll get it up on AO3 soon, when my lovely and talented alpha Bunny Jonez gives her approval!

It is a role reversal rewrite of Reylo, where Rey was the one lured to the dark by Snoke, and Ben Solo might very well be the last hope of the galaxy! (if they don’t turn each other first!)
