So this will sound strange considering I have never met you in my life and I am American where you are very decidedly not located, but I dreamed Id met you haha. It was weird as dreams often are, but it was a New Years celebration where we were welcomed into others' homes to share food and drink and Id lamented being full and tired because you'd made a nice looking stew and you invited me to come back another day lol. You also had a few dogs, but like.... They were all corgi mutts. Very sweet ones and no none of them looked like Vasco or Machete which was strange. I only knew it was you because Dream Me knew it inherently, the way we just Do in dreams. Anyway, as bizarre as it was, I thought I'd let you know! It was a nice dream and nice interaction that my brain cooked up hahaha

The corgis got to visit the Framingham Public Library bookmobile today. Knives always perks up when she sees books and libraries because she knows it means cuddles are gonna happen. Saki is still learning the ropes. And Machete is always happy to get fawned over. 😂 #orokusakicorgi #machetecorgez #knivesthecorgi

Today, the most perfect little manmans with the floofiest, happiest tail is ONE-YEAR-OLD!🥳 Cannot believe how fast puppy time blows by! He still seems like my smol, precious BB.🥺 But he has grown so much, he is so smart, he is so sweet...he is our perfect little Oroku Saki. 💗🐶💗 We are so grateful that he is a part of our family, so thrilled at how well he fits in with Machete & Knives, and thoroughly enjoying every step of watching him grow up into a truly excellent dog. Enormous thank you to Dr. Amanda for bringing this lil mans into our lives, and a very happy birthday to Rowan & all his littermates on this gorgeous, sunny day.🎁🐶🎂 Love you, Saki, happy happy birthday!🎂 (birthday hat by me, cake by @dogcakesfordogs) #corgi #dogcakesfordogs #felt #craftyshit #corgiaddict #birthdayhat #DIY #OneYearOfSaki #puppy #doghats #dogsofinstagram #orokusakicorgi (at Framingham, Massachusetts) https://www.instagram.com/p/CoX_gHUuDAf/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Some common Jotaro hc’s pt 2 cuz why not?
Part 1 Part 3
Tumblr media
He thinks that he’s pretty attractive. Likes his hair and sometimes tries to style it. Couple of times Kakyoin helped him with it
Likes to use cologne, some cold and fresh or woody smells
Enjoys watching Disney, his favorite movies are Bamby and Lion King
He prefers some cold and calm colors like dark green, brown, ultramarine, indigo and all shades of gray
Jotaro doesn’t like “girly stuff” like plush toys, cute notebooks, glitter, bunny slippers etc
Definitely a dog person. Prefers big dogs like pit bulls, bull terriers, shepherds, huskies, dobermans, retrievers etc, but also finds corgies and pugs adorable. If Jotaro has one he falls for his doggo every time he looks at it😭
Has no pijama. He sleeps in his t-shirt and panties🌚
Started to smoke when he was 16. Thinks that it looks cool and makes him even more attractive. Likes the smell of the smoke
Likes playing in basketball. When he was younger he often played in it with Joseph, but has never won against him
Prefers some sport clothes because they are most comfortable for him. His favorite brand is Adidas
Has 3 pairs of Converse: black, red and brown ones
Doesn’t interested in art but will try to draw sometimes. Has no problems with posing for Kakyoin’s studies if he asks to
Prefers japanese cuisine but also likes italian and mexican ones
Can’t dance. Like at all. He hasn’t a clue how to do it and his moves are very clumsy. When Jotaro dances he is a fully disaster and does it only when he’s drunk
Really likes cold steel. Machetes, swords, knifes, daggers. He has a butterfly knife and pair of brass knuckles, so don’t joke with this man
His favorite genres of books are adventures, fantasy, science fiction but he doesn’t really like books about philosophy because they’re boring for him. I think he likes «The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” by Douglas Adams

The person who tagged you will give you the title of their WIP. You will them explain their WIP. You may look in the WIP’s designated tag, the character tags, anywhere on the blog EXCEPT THE ACTUAL WIP PAGE.
I was tagged by @woodhouse-jay for their WIP Acacia. This is not accurate in the slightest and definitely more of a humorous interpretation than an actual attempt to discern the plot and characters’ motivations.
There’s a bunch of people tromping through the jungle. They’re on a mission of some sort. That mission is to get away from people because people suck. The main character, Bydeaux, looks like Donald Trump and is very ashamed of it. Cav is a naval officer and they might be gay for each other. Diamont is the only one who actually cares about the crappy state of politics. Kii is a humanoid corgi who’s escaped from the ownership of the Queen of England. Felice is a super chill dude with big old chihuahua ears and a medical license that he should definitely not have. And Akira is just so done with literally everything that there is not a single moment where he is not high out of his mind. Armed with machetes, muskets, and other jungle-faring gear, they will bicker and face quicksand, monsters, bandits, and congressmen to find the place where they can be free from their pasts and the turmoil of nations.
I challenge @woodhouse-jay, @bookishdiplodocus and @blueinkblot to explain Scalba of the Talanari. Remember, anywhere but the WIP page!
(Oh, and be sure to let the person you tagged know how they did!)

“A corn maze? Have you never seen a horror movie?!” - Graham
accepting! // meme sent, [ fall sentence starters ]
They stood at the entrance of the corn maze, all bundled up thanks to the chilly new england fall weather. The distance sound of faint screams followed by laughter echoed throughout the air behind them. Mary stood there, slightly aghast at his response before looking down at her feet to Ronon, the large breed dog with a brown dog sweater on and his light up harness over it attached to the leash she was holding tight. Ronon was a Belgian Malinois, fully grown now and still somewhere between puppy and adolescent in age. "... Right, and you are worried about THAT over what this 150 pound monster at my feet cannot do?" She teased him a little before leaning in to give her boyfriend a faint kiss on the lips, Ronon barked a few times - voice deep as he shook out and continued to stand at Mary's feet until told otherwise. "Perhaps I should have brought McKay so you and he could be frightened together?" The poor corgi was the smallest of the dogs, and was at home being watched by -- you guessed it, Henry. Of course all of Mary's dogs loved Henry therefore him watching them for a few hours on a Friday night was completely fine. "You can stay right here if you are that worried about machete or knife wielding killers, or ones with krueger hands - I however am going through the maze because Granny is on the other end with apple cider and I want some." She clicked her tongue twice and Ronon began eagerly walking beside her, the mini flashlight that was illuminating at 1000 lumens dangled from around her wrist as they entered the maze together.

Bart/ken and prompt 7? (Love your writing btw!)
(omg thank you so much! and thank you for such a cute prompt uwu)
Thing is, Ken had been travelling with Bart for a while. He figured he knew her pretty well by now, and he’d known from the day he met her (or, y’know, the day she chased him with a machete and kidnapped him) that she was a bit… well, weird.
It wasn’t a bad thing! Well, not all the time. It was cool, some people were just weird and Bart was one of them. She moved weird, she talked weird, and she had a weird way of looking at the world. Or at first glance she did. But he was starting to think her straightforward (and violent) approach to life and her place in it actually made more sense than most people’s.
But she had a lot of weird habits, and one of those habits was staring at things. And people, people and things, she stared at all of them. He guessed the thing about being absolutely assured of your place in the world made you a lot less embarrassed about stuff like that.
So he was kinda used to her staring at him by now. She did it a lot. She was the kind of person who would stare at something until she figured it out, and since human interaction wasn’t her strong suit she had a lot of figuring out to do.
But there was something a little different about her staring today. She didn’t look mad, or sceptical or even that confused. She just looked kinda thoughtful. Like something new had occurred to her and she didn’t understand it but she didn’t mind it.
“Bart?” Ken asked when he’d caught his breath from laughing- the corgi in the backseat was chasing her stubby tail again. “You okay?”
She was watching him a little too closely considering she was behind the wheel. But he guessed they’d crash if they were supposed to crash anyway. “You’re happy.”
“Uh… yes?” He didn’t really have to think about it. He’d… well, he’d been the happiest he’d ever been these past few months. Just him and Bart and Chainsaw (Bart’s choice- they had no idea what the corgi’s real name was but she seemed to like Chainsaw just fine). He never would have expected it, but he wasn’t complaining. He wasn’t sure where Bart was going with this. “Are you?”
“Yeah,” she grunted, eyes back on the road.
“…O-kay.”
Silence fell for a little while. Until Ken started giggling at Chainsaw’s attempts to climb into his duffel bag. Then Bart was giving him that look again, and a quiet: “Huh.”
“What?”
“It’s…” she lifted one hand from the wheel to gesticulate in that broad, kinda drunkenly confident way she did. “It’s like- I’m happy anyway, y’know? But right now I’m more happy. It’s like… when you’re happy, I’m happy. Y’know?”
Another weird thing about Bart; she was the both the scariest and cutest person he’d ever met.
“Yeah,” he said, smiling now for a whole other reason. “Yeah, me too.”
“Well, yeah, of course you’re happy when you’re happy- that’s, like, what it is.”
“No, I mean- I’m happy when you’re happy. Like, reversed.”
“…Oh.” She kept her eyes on the road, but he could see her smile a mile off. “That’s nice.”

Dos and Don’ts to Remember When Getting Dog Tattoos
Dogs are absolutely the center of my world. They were the most consistent and joyful part of my life as I was a kid growing up in an abusive home. I’m heavily tattooed and I’ve chosen to memorialize my relationship with dogs through dog tattoos many times. I have paw prints for all the dogs who were part of my life as a kid/teenager in a band on my arm and I have portrait tattoos for the three dogs that I share my life with currently. I also have a dog agility course tattooed on the back of one of my legs with a quote about loss — I competed actively in dog sports as a teenager, but had to quit when I became homeless and lost my dogs.
Tattoos are how I document important experiences and relationships in my life, so, of course, I have dog tattoos!
Dos for dog tattoos:
Trust your artist when it comes to your dog-tattoo design. Photography ©PenelopeB | iStock / Getty Images Plus.
Be creative – think about a design that you want on your body forever, and that represents your dog’s personality and/or your relationship with him.
Find an experienced artist who does tattoos in a style that you like.
Give your artist lots of reference materials, photographs of your dog, and any other inspirational images you want your artist to incorporate into the tattoo.
Trust your artist when she makes suggestions about the design or size of the tattoo — she’s the expert.
Ask questions. Especially if this is your first tattoo, ask questions about anything that feels confusing.
Tip your tattoo artist! Twenty-percent is generally an average amount to tip your artist.
Don’ts for dog tattoos:
The author Sassafras Lowrey’s dog tattoos. As she says — don’t be afraid to go big with your dog tattoos. Photography courtesy Sassafras Lowrey.
Don’t be afraid to go big! Tiny tattoos don’t tend to age well.
Avoid getting cheap tattoos — sometimes you really get what you pay for. The cheapest tattoo might not be one you want on your body forever.
Try not to copy other people’s tattoos — work with your artist to design something new/unique that represents your dog or your relationship to your dog.
Don’t feel like you have to wait until your dog has passed to get a tattoo. Many people consider tattoos to be something to get as memorials, but you can absolutely get tattoos of your dogs while they are still alive!

“I got Keener shortly after my first dog died. We took a whole bunch of classes together. I knew I wanted to try nosework with him and we both loved it. That’s why I chose to have his nose in the tattoo. We’ve traveled a few thousand miles together for training, seminars and competitions. He opened me up to an awesome new world. We have met so many great people. I never in my life thought I would have it in me to travel ‘alone’ (wait, I guess it’s not alone when your dog is with you) out of state.”

“I live in Los Angeles. The tattoo is by Graham Chaffee. Butch was my heart dog, my little shadow and my constant traveling companion. I’m a crime writer and he attended several conferences with me, which is where he got the nickname Noir Dog. This tattoo is on my left calf, so that he will always walk by my side.”
6. Lisa Clark

“Although [it’s not a tattoo] of my dogs — it will happen, trust me, I have two dogs, I’ve had foster dogs and I volunteer at my local SPCA — I had this infinity symbol with paws done to represent my dogs, my fosters, and the many dogs I’ve loved and cared for in my lifetime that [have] offered me unconditional love and companionship. They are man and woman’s best friend.”
7. Jae
Jae’s dog tattoo. Photography courtesy Jae.
“I have a tattoo of my retired guide dog’s paw (to scale) with a purple Hamsa in the middle because his collar is/was purple. He guided on my left, and his eyes were my eyes and protected me from so many near-misses with cars, random cut-outs on sidewalks and finding my way home.”

“We’re in Toronto Ontario. I’m from the U.K., so she’s my only family here and she’s the absolute love of my life. She makes me so happy every single day.”

“This is a portrait of my Corgis (Machete Corgéz and Knives the Corgi) based off a painting my friend Amanda gave me for Christmas one year. [This tattoo was] done by Alex Dawes. [It’s] not a memorial tattoo — just a lot of things I love all in one.”
