Ao3 has over 200 fics of them, I read almost all of them already (some twice) except the ones I can't physically stomach, I went to fanfic.net cuz I thought "Hey, that place existed before Ao3, should be more, right?"

WRONG!

Seems like Greyghost is a recent phenomenon or something cuz fanfic net had only 33 fanfics in total, most actually being recently and already reuploaded to Ao3 and I've already read them too

Unless I fucked something up in the filters cuz fanfic still kinda trips me out a little gkdksja

Also whenever I talk about Sharena being overlooked in favor of Alfonse I feel SO bad and SO hypocritical because while I am very unwell about both of them it just. Manifests in different ways. Sharena is like a plushie to me she's a friend she's full of love and joy and softness. I occasionally succumb to madness and have divine visions over her but most of the time she's Sharena my good friend Sharena :) Meanwhile with Alfonse it's like. Since I've got some life insurance money now, I keep ordering packages. Birthday gifts, household necessities/utility things that I've wanted but haven't bought b4 now for whatever reason (an electric kettle, a portable speaker, more outlet strips, wood cleaner, some cubbies for one of my new cabinets, etc), and Also a few frivolous nice things for myself (like the figurine, and the dice, and some comic books)

I'm expecting it to slow down after I've gotten things more settled, but I rly wonder what the post ppl think of me rn. Like "this bitch again?" I'm sorry post people I am simply trying to sort out my life rn. I promise I will be less annoying in time.

Similar to how my partner said, dolphins feel pretty overrated when it comes to aquatic mammals. You see them everywhere tropical ever. There's some really neat species for sure but as a whole I don't entirely see people talking about the really cool ones.

Like dolphins though, I also find seals to be the same. People love to look at all the cute ones and focus on them but iunno... There's way cooler. For example, elephant seals are total badasses. People are way too mean to them because they think they look ugly. Can't appreciate a terrifying sea mammal when they see one smh.

I’m having surgery on Monday (it’s elective and I’m very glad to be having it) which means I will spend all of next week and possibly more laying in bed and doing nothing. 

Therefore I am collecting suggestions for TV shows, YT video essays, YT videos in general, and podcasts (fiction and non-fiction). Sci-fi and horror are my go-to genres for everything fiction. For video essays / podcasts: science and literature are my preferred topics but I am willing to watch 10 hours of someone talking about, idk, competitive dog grooming or 17th century Hungarian folklore if the essayist really cares about it. Though I am kind of tired of super political/depressing/heavy topic video essays tbh. Not in fiction! In horror, I go as hardcore as it gets.

So yeah, if anyone has suggestions, please throw them at me. Not taking recommendations for books cause my TBR is 47 positions long :) And it terms of games I’ve been playing nothing but Hollow Knight for the last 2 months and I don’t see that changing any time soon.
