I'm not an Enen no shouboutai expert but I have an idea for a fanfic.
Kusakabe Shinra, I lament to inform you of the death of your grandfather Kusakabe Isamu and grandmother Kusakabe Mieko in the early hours of Thursday X of month X of year XXXX.
According to the investigations of our scientific team, Kusakabe Isamu became an infernal between 3 and 3:30 am., it is estimated that Kusakabe Mieko died between 3:30 and 3:45 am., at the hands of her husband Kusakabe Isamu turned into an infernal.
At 3:50 am. a team from our squad that was patrolling the area spotted the fire and arrived at your grandparents's residence at 3:55.
At 4:10 am. Kusakabe Isamu was finally put to rest and at 4:16 am. the fire in the residence was put out.
We are sorry for your loss and you have our sincerest condolences.

#raii talks a lot#raii rewatches#well. kind of but also not it’s an episode that I think abt a lot#its michiru finding new friends and learning more about herself and starting that journey of “actually I like this new me” which was who she#wanted to be for so long. it’s about a friendship with Nina and that shifting of mindsetby discovery that there are beastmen with her issues#its an episode that actually did the shows intended like. minority issue right like this episode was actually clear in the department#and the boat scene. which. could’ve won an award in my brain like it was no longer than two mins but#it was. an important two minutes. all of it#michiru feeling comfortable enough with shirou to make jabs at him and he in return so early on too I think him saving her life rlly changed#things. like obviously it WOULD.#the additional jabs from marie we get that dynamic and we see an interesting aspect of shirou’s job and his morals#how he’ll side with/seek out assistance from people he also deems as threats to his people and it’s. it’s interesting as hell to me#and Nina wanting more from life and michiru wanting normalcy and and#ALSO MARIE’S LITTLE SMILE WHEN MICHIRU AND SHIROU WERE BICKERING. The Beginning of the End (Gojo x Reader- Part 6 of The Marriage)
Author’s Note: Hey guys! This is the second to last chapter of this series. The next chapter will be a ten year timeskip to wrap up the story (and we’ll also get a Gojo flashback). I’d love to hear your thoughts on this. Enjoy!
Warnings: character death, swearing
Nothing remained of Shibuya, the entire area had been leveled. The power that had exuded from Satoru felt so astronomical he wasn’t sure if he’d ever be able to return to himself. His ears rang as he stood up to study the scene before him. The smoke was clearing and in the distance he could hear voices. Something twitched in his hand and he lifted it to reveal none other than the decapitated head of Ryomen Sukuna. The two faced curse gave him a defiant look even as he began to fade away into nothingness.
Satoru couldn’t help but laugh.
“It looks like the return of the mighty Ryomen Sukuna was short lived, wasn't it?”
The curse couldn’t respond; he just glared in contempt.
He wouldn’t come back.
None of the curses would come back.
And no sorcerer would ever feel the differentiation of cursed energy flowing through their veins, opening their eyes to the horrors that non shamans couldn’t see.
Yuki Tsukumo’s research had come to fruition.
A world without cursed energy, was now their world.
Satoru dropped what was left of Sukuna’s head, letting it fall to the ground. In only a few seconds the source of such terror ceased to exist. Satoru took a shaky step forward, then another.
He needed to reintroduce himself to his now former students as a reborn mortal. A non shaman.
Satoru Gojo. Who was formerly the strongest.

You gradually understood the meaning of Ieiri’s words.
Choso instinctively raised his fingers to touch the bridge of his nose. The black streak that had decorated him had now vanished, leaving him fully human.
You felt a snap, a sigh, a shift course through you. You couldn’t sense it, your cursed energy. The technique that had once resided inside of you.
It was gone.
You held Tsumiki and Mari a little tighter.
“It’s over,” you whispered.

One by one students, teachers, old and new sorcerers (now all former sorcerers) came lingering back towards the school, the last remaining haven of Jujutsu society.
When Megumi came in he stood in awe for a moment, seeing you for the first time, being allowed to familiarize himself with his big sister, while laying eyes on his new sister for the first time.
Just like when he was a child, he walked towards you and allowed you to hug him, the two of you said nothing, Tsumiki leaned in and embraced him from the other side, Mari remained calm between the three of you.

Everyone gathered around the inside the main building and waited, although none of them could say for what.
You scanned the room to find an array of familiar and unfamiliar faces, taking a sorrowful note of those who were absent from this reunion. Your heart ached knowing that you’d never see the likes of Kento or Yuki again, but you couldn’t allow yourself to break, not now.
The room went silent when a lone soul walked through the front door, you sighed in relief, your husband.
“Satoru,” you whispered.
He ignored the stares and looks of disbelief, instead walking straight towards you and the children, holding your family while leaning against you.
After a moment he released you and turned to face the others in the room.
“It’s done,” he announced, a finality weighing down his words.
Everyone exchanged looks and whispers amongst themselves.
Done. It was all finished. Curses, techniques, Kenjaku, it was all over.
A new addition stepped forward, you had learned his name was Hiromi Higuruma.
“So,” he started. “What do we do now? I mean, are we just supposed to go back to our everyday lives?”
Kusakabe, a former teacher from the Kyoto school, scoffed at that.
“That’s easy for you to say. You can go back but what are we supposed to do?”
We being those who were jujutsu sorcerers prior to the culling game, something that had seemingly created a divide in the group. People who had spent their lives shouldering the burden of curses and others who had only fought a battle of an exhaustively long war.
Mei Mei sighed. “He’s right. Our livelihoods have vanished.”
Toge Inumaki, one of your former students stepped up towards you. “What are we supposed to do now, Vice Principal Gojo?” he shakily asked, still adapting to his curse free speech.
With that question everyone turned their attention to you.
That’s right, your former superior and mentor, Yaga Masamichi, was dead along with so many others. So you had to step up and assume a leadership position, make plans for a murky future.
You handed Mari to Tsumiki and cleared your throat.
“I know you all have a lot of questions and concerns. But right now we all need to rest. Let’s all regroup here tomorrow so we can decide how to move forward.”

Those who didn’t have a place to stay would remain in the dorms until further notice. One of many problems you and the others would have to navigate tomorrow. But tonight you and your family would return home and attempt to rebuild what had been stolen from you.
Ichiji was kind enough to drive you back to the estate.
Your husband had gone ahead in a spare car while you and the Fushiguro siblings followed behind.
They had opted to wait for you while you reacquainted yourself with everyone and tied up some loose ends.
The drive home was relatively quiet. Fortunately you had arrived back to the estate in no time.
“Goodnight everyone,” said Ichiji.
Megumi and Tsumiki mumbled a goodnight and shimmied out of the car. You leaned forward from the backseat and rested your hand on Ichiji’s shoulder.
“Please promise me you’ll go straight home and get some sleep.”
He nodded. “I plan on it.”
“Goodnight Ichiji, thank you for everything.”
He smiled. “Goodnight (Name).”

One of the maids informed you in a worried tone that Satoru was in the main house.
You turned towards the children. “Go back to the house. I should be with him for this.”
“Should we take Mari?” Tsumiki asked.
You shook your head. “No, I want them to see her.”

When you arrived, Satoru was looming over the entirety of his relatives, all of them chaotically pleading, but he was unmoved. You knew what was happening, something that he had discussed with you before he drove over here.
“There’s no use arguing,” he calmly stated. “It’s been decided.”
One of his cousins spotted you and sighed in relief. “(Name)! (Name)! You’re alive!”
The rest of the family turned their attention towards you.
“(Name)! Thank goodness you’re safe!”
“Please forgive us (Name)! Kenjaku threatened our lives! We had no choice!”
“Enough,” Satoru ordered.
The group went silent again. “I was already informed by Gakuganji that you had accepted a hefty payment from Kenjaku for (Name). You’re weight in gold? Or is that wrong, Uncle?”
Satoru’s uncle stepped forward, an artificial guilt decorated his face.
“Nephew, he’s lying. He and the higher ups, the very ones you killed, forced our hand.”
“The staff told me the same thing. You had been conspiring with him for months under our noses.”
“That’s not true-”
“I’m not interested in your bullshit. Pack your things and get out.”
The same cousin who had called out to you earlier called out again.
“Please (Name),” she pleaded. “Don’t force us out. We have children of our own.”
You remained as unmoved as your husband.
“You will all be given a monthly stipend for the foreseeable future, and the remaining Kamo’s have offered to house you until further notice.”
Satoru’s uncle sneered at you. “You dare act haughty and take pity on us? Offer us charity and make us boarders? This is our house you little gold digging bitch-”
Satoru swiftly snatched the old man up from his collar and lifted him up to his eye level. “The only reason you're still alive is because of (Name). If it was up to me you would be in a bloody heap with the other geezers that caused all this.”
You put a hand on your husband's shoulder and he reluctantly dropped the old man. You leaned over him, your daughter tucked tightly in your arms.
“Get out of my house,” you ordered. “And don’t come back.”

You couldn’t sleep.
No matter how hard you tried it was nearly impossible.
You knew Kenjaku and Sukuna had been dealt with, that no Mahito like nightmare would creep up the stairs and make their way into Mari’s room. Your husband’s family had reluctantly gone, your friends and family could rest easy, but the anxiety refused to die along with the disappearance of cursed creatures.
It all felt so uncanny, a hazy dream that would morph into a nightmare like you had experienced prior to all of this.
After what felt like an eternity you were able to doze off for a bit.
When you came to you were alarmed to not find Satoru next to you.
Panic filled your chest as you scurried out of bed and made your way to Mari’s nursery.
There was Satoru in the rocking chair with your daughter, drinking from the bottle he held. Megumi leaned against the wall while Tsumiki crouched against in front of the dresser.
You brought your hand up to your mouth and choked back a sob.
They all turned their attention to you.
“(Name)?” Satoru asked.
“I’m sorry,” you cried. “I’m sorry.”
Your husband got up and quickly ushered you into the rocking chair, gingerly placing the baby in your arms.
Before he pulled away he pressed his lips softly against yours.
Up close, even in the dim nursery light exuding from the Winnie the Pooh lamp, you could see how tired he was, you were all so tired.
The only thing you could do is sit here, and right now that was fine.
Satoru remained crouched down in front of you, offering you the reassuring smile he always had.
Megumi pushed himself off the wall and stood behind you. Tsumiki scooted next to her adoptive father and rested her head on your lap reaching up to press her index finger against Mari’s small hand.
You kissed your newborn daughter’s forehead. “Hi sweetheart. Say hello to your family.”

A book that I actually recently finished. 3/5 stars, there’s some very memorable quotes here and at times, the writing is gorgeous. But other times, the author’s writing is :/ and I wouldn’t recommend it if you want a fast paced plot
