it took me 3 days to watch marian dora’s movie cannibal. did I like it? not at all. is it a “good” movie? noooope. would I watch it again? probably never ever.

but there were lots of different aspects I think were fascinating. never seen such an anticlimax (haha get it?) in other media about trying to make cannibalism fantasies reality. the flesh being the more destructive and aggressive character compared to the man. dying being such a gross process with all that vomit, sweating and losing control of your bowel function (even with all the blood and gore many horror movies tend to portray death in a way too “clean” and unnatural way)

Back when you were using Audacity, how did you get the sounds you wanted? Did you use a synthesizer or something?

NOPE hehe it was all mutated samples of random things no synth involved!

this one’s my favorite from my noise era lol & was done all in audacity. this track started off as a random sound recorded off my phone duplicated onto 2 tracks & then individually warped through about 80 different audacity-native VSTs until they like Rolled in unison the way they do, then i took audio of my own vocals, pitched way down, reverb, Heavy paulstretch until it sounded like chugging sluggish shit & every time id breathe too hard or roar it’d blow out the top end LOL, and then there’s a sample from marian dora’s film Cannibal in there right before my best roar around 3:08 or so

Later, as an adult, in the grip of his fantasies, driven by the desire to find himself a companion, and an ideal sexual partner who would never leave him, like Jeffrey Dahmer, he made mannequins to project his fantasies and feel less alone. Here is a remnant of it, a head made up with felt-tip pen with a beard, eyes, eyebrows, etc. It's cold in the back. At the heart of a man's delirium led to the unimaginable: Eating a consenting victim.

Armin Meiwes, born December 1, 1961 in Essen, is a German computer scientist who became known for the 2001 murder of Bernd Jürgen Brandes. Perpetrated on a consenting victim, the murder is preceded and followed by acts of cannibalism. Nicknamed Der Metzgermeister (“the master butcher” in French) or even the “cannibal of Rotenburg”, Meiwes was sentenced in 2004 to 8 and a half years in prison, then, during a second trial, held in 2006, to the life imprisonment. Rammstein's song "Mein Teil" is dedicated to the case. Director Marian Dora made Cannibal, a film about the story of Armin Meiwes. Meiwes is Germany's most famous cannibal.
