So I was looking at 80's pop-rock/soft rock online (Because I love discovering golden oldies) and I came across this 1986 album by Marilyn Martin (Of Separate Lives with Phil Collins fame). So I gave this tune here a listen and....wow. It just slaps really hard! It has dark, atmospheric vibes with an edge of danger; lyrics that speak of love, illusion and mind games, all rounded out with a kickass guitar solo. Perfect for any fans of dark dreamcore/gothic academia/gothic dreamcore. The other songs are solid bangers too, especially Body and the beat, Too Much Too Soon, ect. Sadly the album is only available as a digital download as the CD album is almost impossible to find with most being super expensive Japanese imports. However, I learnt that Rhino Records holds the reissueing rights and ,as someone who loves physical media and supports media preservation, I believe this album deserves a proper CD re-release. https://www.rhino.com/contact
