⋆ Note: I got 17.5/20 on my Korean exam today! Also, I'm testing Rosalia's coke flavor. It's weird, but good, kind of tastes like cotton candy, and child medicine. I'm gonna finish the can but I will not buy another one 🤧

Karina: I'm sure she'll make you watch Disney movies like Rapunzel or Frozen and you will not have a choice but to sing all the songs together. In the end, it's almost karaoke lol. Lots of fooood, mostly ice cream, noodles, and Tteokbokki. Loves doing your skincare and makeup, almost doing asmr on you. She loves relaxing you, giving you massages if you want to. Sometimes when she doesn't have enough energy to sleep late, you'll have tea and read together, if you do not want to read yourself she'll read to you, helping you fall asleep slowly. Lots of cuddling. She loves brushing your hair with her hand, paying attention to not hurt you. A date night with you is very soothing and calming.

Giselle: Bought a polaroid and takes lots of pictures, of you, of the activities you do together, the food you eat, everything. She wants to keep a lot of memories. Matching pyjamas for sure. You'll watch superhero movies like Deadpool, old spiderman, and Captain America. She prepares a good bath for both of you (with essential oils, a bath bomb, and some candles. She plays the guitar for you. She wants you to do her makeup, she thinks it's fun. You bring her her favourite coffee and she's so happy she buys you your favourite dessert. I feel like she would have tried to bake a cake or some sweets like macarons. When it's time to go to bed she takes you in her arms and falls asleep with you as her plushie.

Winter: She definitely made you dinner and dessert. Meanwhile, she sent you a list of snacks to buy. Because she loves snacks, she's an expert you can trust her. You watch 2 movies, one she chose (probably a war movie or an action movie), and one you chose. Even if she doesn't like the type of movie it is or if you guys already saw it a hundred times. You eat A LOT. Maybe no matching pyjamas but at least the same colour. She cuddles with you while watching the movies and eventually falls asleep on your lap if it's getting too late. She prepared a comfy bed that smells good so you're cozy and feeling good. She's very hugable, like a squishmallow.

Ningning: You'll obviously watch Titanic because it's her favourite movie (she might cry). Home karaokeeee. Blackpink songs all over the place. The type to twerk when her favourite song is playing. She gives you lots of kisses and back hugs. You eat pizzas and also watch Shrek, to the point where you two can redo the scenes. At 3am you watch puppies that are for adoption on the internet and imagine what it'll be like when you'll have your own. She does your makeup and skincare, and she likes taking care of you. When it's time to fall asleep, she puts her head on her chest and grabs your waist, then she falls asleep listening to your heartbeat.

soooo I made some morphology's and outfits for td charcters, here’s what I have so far (warning, this is gonna be long)

Gwen: outfit (Female Pearlcatcher; teal Jupiter, obsidian Basic, and emerald Basic) This is one of my personal favorites, it's simple but it works really well, but you'll see the morphologies and outfits get more complicated soooo

Courtney: outfit (Female Coatl; sand Cherub, camo Constellation, and wisteria Basic) Another favorite, she just looks pretty :3

Duncan: outfit (Male Bogsneak, eldritch Cinder, fern Blaze, and flaxen Basic) Silly little eepy guy, I feel like this is probably the most accurate dragon of any td character i've made. not much to say about him tho

Alejandro: outfit (Male Imperial; coral Python, maroon Shimmer, and blood Smoke) This is actually a dragon that I have, you can check him out here, but it actually took a couple tries to get an outfit that I think works with him lol

Bridgette: outfit (Female Skydancer; caribbean Lionfish, sanddollar Shimmer, and cobalt Okapi) nothing much to say other than, pretty :3

Geoff: outfit (Male Pearlcatcher; magenta Clown, ivory Butterfly, and strawberry Spines) same with Bridgette, I wanted them to be matching, cause, y'know. they kiss :<, but I honestly prefer this one over Bridgette (the outfit, not the morphology)

Harold: outfit (Male Ridgeback; periwinkle Skink, orange Hex, and fern Stained) I'm really happy with how this came out, even if it took a couple redos lol, and the steampunk apparel works with Harold's, vibe

ok for some stupid reason I can't put the pictures of Beth, Justin, Katie and Sadie [im on pc], so I'm just going to link the morphologies here: Beth (Female Aether; ivory Candy, magenta Butterfly, and shamrock Wish), Justin (Male Aether; bronze Boa, hunter Daub, and overcast Flutter), Katie and Sadie (Female Aberration; brown Pinstripe, ivory Flair, and cottoncandy Koi)

Ezekiel: outfit (Male Wildclaw; algae Pinstripe, soil Patchwork, and stonewash Veined) My favorite tbh, can't really explain why it just, ✨does✨

Feral Ezekiel: outfit (Male Mirror; fern Stiched, camo Patchwork, and cobalt Ghost) yeah, i made the eepy. i changed the breed cause 1) it reflects how ezekiel changed after his mutation, and 2) Male Wildclaw's position(?) isn't creaturey enough

Leshawna: outfit (Female Obelisk; ginger Falcon, obsidian Rosette, and cerise Contour) Nothing much to say about this one tbh, she looks real pretty tho :D

Owen: outfit (Male Snapper; metals Ground, marigold Safari, and teal Koi) I like this one, it's simple but unfortunately i couldn't find anything to represent his maple leaf :(

Cody: outfit (Male Coatl; gold Swirl, twilight Fissure, and copper Contour) i'm honestly not happy with this one, specifically the outfit. might redo this one later, and remove all the autumn stuff

DJ: outfit (Male Tundra; camo Python, brown Constellation, and dust Runes) lookie, is my boy :3333333333

Izzy: outfit (Female Mirror; sunshine Clown, pear Eye Spots, and avocado Gembond) really happy with this one, it fits her well and gives off her craziness :>

Sierra: outfit (Female Spiral; jade Clown, mulberry Hypnotic, and blackberry Opal) i'm very lucky to have found the apparel that i did for her, cause if i didn't, i have no idea what outfit to have given her ;-; but yeah she pretty

Eva: outfit (Female Snapper; cobalt Falcon, sapphire Peregrine, and obsidian Spines) big buff lady :D

Tyler: outfit (Male Ridgeback; cherry Jupiter, sable Eel, and white Basic) A fan of this one, and the Love's Herald was a gift from Lindsay. and now thinking about it, i might wanna make some lore for this. it's a big maybe though

Lindsay: outfit (Female Fae; garnet Flaunt, honey Jester, and cornflower Scales) i don't know how to feel abt this one, not a fan of it. and also will probably redo the outfit. the morphology i can live with.

Noah: outfit (Male Nocturne; brown Jupiter, pthalo Safari, and crimson Underbelly) another favorite, it gives off very Noah vibes lol (and i just realized that he shares a gene with Owen. so do with that information as you will)

Trent: outfit (Male Skydancer; algae Viperia, forest Eel, and obsidian Koi) I love this one, gives off very bard/guitarist kinda vibes. and if there was lore, i imagine trent would be a nomad entertainer, playing in small towns and cities, and maybe at a bar or two

Chris: outfit (Male Fae; forest Falcon, teal Myrid, and obsidian Smoke) look, it's him, the guy!!!!/j but in all seriousness, this is literally just him. entitled little short king who slays (i also have one for Chef, but it's yucky :,<)

i had one for Heather, but I deleted the outfit for her, which was of a dragon that i already sold, soooooooo i'm just gonna make a new one for her :3 also thank you for reading this long ass post (if you actually did), it means a lot to me :3

What is currently your favorite thing/part that’s happened in HMD so far? (That we’ve read lol)

I don’t know, ah!! I really like Red, Edge and MC’s character growth. I think their relationship is really neat. I also might have enjoyed torturing Orange with Myra. I think I just really enjoy all the latest chapters. The one on ones and brothers together hanging out with MC before she went back to the Hotel. I just feel these show how much these skeletons and MC relationship has changed. Some other small highlights I like from these newer chapters also include that elevator scene with Musket, Axe being protective of MC, Blushing and nervous Crooks at the pool and that cleaning her cut scene, Nightmare in the trap and just the really wholesome family dynamic I get to write whenever MC gets to see her brothers.

I think there's also some iconic things that happen like MC breaking her arm, the paintball match, the lazer tag match, drinking with Red and the whole birthday party arc.

I’ve really enjoyed writing HND and I’m really glad others have to! I’d be curious to hear what everyone else's favorite scene is so if you have one let me know! I’m hella curious. Plus with so many skeletons now maybe I could revamp those scenes with others or do a redo like when I did a parallel chapter or Red and Edge coming over to the house again. Plus the first and last chapter of Part One having the same title is one of my favorite things. I love parallels.

I'm just really proud of how far my writing has come and I really love doing this story. I can't wait to keep going with it.

Happy late valentines! I wanted to finish my January art by now but urgh, February is kicking my ass as much as January did. I keep missing wip wednesday and seven sentence sunday and now I missed Valentines. 😭

I accidentally deleted some layers in my art so I need to do more then I thought to finish (Carlos lost his skin 💀) and I also wanna delete/repost my blindfold fanart because I'm not pleased with it and I redid it to match my pearl one.

So now I wanna post them as a matched set but one isn't finished and the other is haunting me on tumblr, lol.

I also posted and deleted my latest TK drawing, I wanna rethink and maybe redo it, I dunno. I think some of my stuff doesn't really fit in here so it might go in the sketch graveyard, I have a few there, lol. Sorry I like covering you in blood and putting you in skirts, TK.

i kind of wanted to finish carving the stake before posting but im getting a blister from the way im going about it lol so whatever. gold studs and leather grip are done babey! last night one of the mace blades snapped off and i wanted to redo it anyway so thats next on the schedge. im thinking i might go plastic, itd be nice if i can find something to reclaim for it as the only thing i havent bought new for the project so far is an old bad strap for the grip.

anyway question for yall since i wanna get a strap to sling the scythe over my shoulder but idk what colour to go with, wld love some input so heres this ↓

Dollightfull is awesome and I think I've watched all of her videos thrice at this point!!

I love her videos so much they're like walking into an elementary school art class, yknow? There's a really nice teacher who loves her job and everything is bright and colorful and creative and she wants to share her passions with everyone and it's so much fun!

(long post incoming with a bunch of pictures lol)

I love all of her dolls so much it's really hard to pick favorites so I singled a couple out:

Tamara (the centaur art doll) reminds me of Duskler's centaur au in a really nice way - it's like she could be from the same universe :D I love the airbrushing on her fur and her big fawn eyes and awesome hair - she's such a pretty doll.

I obviously love the werewolf (big fan of werewolves in general lol) - the punpkin orange really hits with the browns and tans of the wolf fur, and the way it blends into the hair AND into this gorgeously sculpted head is INCREDIBLE.

If I ever get access to a 3d printer I want to get her little bunny model and paint it to look like some version of Karl - maybe if I get a cat doll too I could make a matching Karl and George set lmao (I LOVE the inset eyes on these two - and the bright colors on both are just SO MUCH FUN TO LOOK AT!!!! :D)

Aquarian is my favorite of all of her dragons (I really really love the way she did their legs especially - with the suction cups and the big claws) with Terra as a REALLY close second just because I literally cannot get enough of the sculpting on Terra - her entire face is custom-made AND she has a mostly-custom-made body WITH a 3d printed tail AND SHE GLOWS IN THE DARK!

I've seen the entire Eeveelutions series at least 8 times the entire way through and I cannot pick a favorite - all of them are just that damn good!

One of my siblings and I rewatch her Noelle and Yuliya videos every December - I don't rewatch Christmas movies nearly as regularly as I watch these two videos lol

I love EVERYTHING about Charley - from that ADORABLE reroot to her gorgeous eyes and her dress with that pattern on it and the little bows and her BACKPACK with the CAT KEYCHAIN and the WORKING DOLL SIZED WHEELCHAIR THAT TOOK AN ENTIRE VIDEO TO EXPLAIN THE MAKING OF!

I might have to make a part two to this post at some point because there's SOOOOO much that I didn't cover about Dollightful's characters - Guinevere the Unicorn, Luna the Moth (ESPECIALLY her dress), the entire demon family, the mermaid dolls - but especially the recent Sirena redo with the festival hair and the big chunky horns and the glow in the dark and - the little extraterrestrial doll, Red the lesser panda (I love the hat :D), ALL OF THE FAIRIES, Mai Tai, the steampunk dolls, Juwon (and his sick cloud pants), Jade, Minty, Macaron, the banshee, the witch, etc, etc, etc.

I've been scrolling through her YouTube for like 45 minutes looking at all of her dolls lmao.

✨Find out your Character’s MBTI + Enneagram from your Writing ✨

(If you’re unaware; I write yanderes)

I thought this was pretty neat. I randomly stumbled upon it as I was thinking for fun, about the connection between MBTI and writing. It’s a text analyzer that takes the writing you input into it, then tries to guess what your MBTI type is from the input. It’s all for good fun, and don’t think the results should be taken that seriously. :p

For me, I thought why not put in the dialogues I written from this post. I haven’t written many dialogues for them yet, so… there aren’t enough words to reach the recommended word count, but I thought the results were pretty neat! It “correctly” guessed the types for my ENFP and ENFJ dialogues! (Which might mean that I did a good job with writing in their respective voices? Lol.) Below are the results:

There’s also one for Enneagram (Which I have been thinking of writing something for that). But info on personality from having MBTI type pair with a Enneagram, seems kinda spotty to me. Then again, I didn’t search too hard this time around.

ENFJ got 8w9 and from what I can find on that, it says this kind of person is very protective of the ones they love, which from the “profile” I written for him, is yeah that’s right. lol. I said he would want his s/o to depend on him. The core desire of this type combination is also a desire for control. And apparently, since they fear their loved ones getting hurt, they will use everything they got in their power (including money and brutality) to protect them. Sounds like a match to me. ^^; They are also good at negotiating but will be forceful if necessary. And apparently ENFJ combined with 8w9 is supposed to be even better leaders than the usual ENFJ! Not sure about being a tad indecisive though, doesn’t sound like how I picture the dude I had written. (Another site said he would be decisive though)

For ENFP, it was 2w1. Type 2 is common for ENFP. It looks like their core fear is being hated. Which is something that I had at first planned for him to say! (To say, “I don’t want to be hated by honey”) For his “profile”, I did said he’s always thirsting for his s/o’s love. Haha. ENFP 2w1 also have lots of fun imaginative ideas. Which yeah, sounds right too (I mean fun is subjective though). They also want to serve others, which my dude is definitely doing that for his precious s/o. Plus I read that they are a bit possessive…. Haha. 😅 (also 3w2 is tied with 2w1, but I feel 2w1 is more similar to what I wrote for ENFP)

It was fun and pretty interesting. Curious about what other people might get! I don’t mind if anyone wants to tell me. It can be fun to know! (I might redo this again at later time. After I get more writing/dialogues down.)

sunrise... sunset... sangria... dance sweat

project diary cast on entry follows ~

oooooo it's driving me crazy how uneven that square is!!! but that's just test square #1 so it's ok. I sort of figure I'll redo it at the very end -- I never crochet and I've just picked it up again after many years, so my tension is bound to improve over the course of the few dozen of these I'm about to make.

Here are the stats.

-it's a throw. it's for my sister's bday in 4 months.

-it uses the bones of the citrus slice pattern from "the modern guide to granny squares"

-all squares will have the same background (same color as the pith) and a gradient border

-after assembly, the blanket will reverse the gradient border, so another sc row of yellow going back out to the darker pink

-squares are 8x8. to make throw-sized i believe it'll be 6x7, or 42 squares. this feels very doable; i can easily do one square in a day without any clue what i'm doing. once i have the hang of it, 2-3 squares in a day would be fine.

-the yarn is "scheepjes soft fun". i looked at sooo many options before going with this one, but i'm really happy with it. i just couldn't find any natural yarn that had all the specific colors i wanted... i didn't want to mix and match, and i was also wary of price because crochet is so yarn thirsty compared to knitting. the scheepjes skeins are less than $4 for 140m which is fantastic. it's 60% cotton and 40% acrylic. i never work with cotton and i never work with acrylic. but i am enjoying it and really happy with my choice.

-to start with i ordered 5x of the pith/bg and 3x of all other colors. i know i will need more. according to my kitchen scale, after the first test square i'd used about 10g of the pith/bg and about 5g of the slice color. i'll need to do a little more before i'm confident enough to make a second (hopefully final) order. i'm not too worried about dye lots because the squares are discrete, so if i wash before assembly (for example) i should be able to offset any color variance during assembly.

-here was my planning before the yarn search... after confirming i could actually crochet this, i mocked up a really basic diagram and then pulled out the colored pencils. was testing on 2008 babette blanket cascade 220 yarns.... yuuuuup!

-the book has been great to practice reading charts & written instructions, which were always sort of bewildering for me. because i've made a few changes in the outer rounds, i figured i'd try to rewrite the chart (also there are a few minor errors in the printed charts I think? not positive. but to my untrained eye it seems so.) so i've been messing with stitch fiddle with... interesting results lol. placing symbols individually..... i'm sure there's a better way to do it but what am i gonna do, read a manual? grow up. i might just bust out the colored pencils again.

just showing a small part because i'm only rewriting, but... lol. god it's a mess. but i'm learning!

-the lime green i have is on the yellowish side so i think it will work. that's the second test square i'm working on now.

-fun fact: the real reason i picked crochet up again was that i am desperate to make this mosaic throw. but my first attempts were awful, so i decided i needed a lot more practice to get the muscle memory back (and TENSION!!!! ugh). so that's how i ended up here. there's a couple other stashbusting projects i have in mind, too. i'll try the mosaic again eventually!

-last thing for now, it feels criminal that this book, which is super colorful - and does not use varigated yarns in its examples - does not even discuss methods to avoid or mitigate weaving in ends. come on! in my first square, i didn't weave in any. in my second test, i'm working over the ends to see how that looks, works, and how secure it is. so far so good! thank you to the many reddit posts about the pros and cons of all these methods... for me... i know i will die if i'm weaving in 20+ ends per square. ...x42... and it's going to a childless, catless adult so like. i think it will be safe.

everything else about the book is lovely and i'd recommend it to beginning & intermediate crocheters in a heartbeat! i'm a sucker for rainbow colors... the charts and instructions are great and the reference in the back is also very clear.

like... to get an idea of what all id need to do. for anyone curious ig and also to just... totally beat the allegations of yucky little beast:

survey the damage... bc shes obviously in VERY bad shape. so id need to see if i could even get her eyes out or if id maybe. need to dremel into them to get them free so i could start on faceup removal

get the eyes out. this is very scary bc of the hot glue and also the mysterious gray substance. if it IS apoxie sculpt like i think it is then good god. thats going to be the worst 7 bucks ive ever spent or smth

clean the head. im really hoping that its dirt and not.. the alternative on the forehead and other parts of the face. if it IS some mold or fungus, ive got pony experience here (as in. i have dealt with that a few times on MLP) so I'm not... too worried? My guess is its surface level grime that should go away w the faceup being removed.

attempt to remove the faceup. the paint rly looks like it goes ALL the way around her head (poor thang) so ill probably test with acetone at the back of her head. for whatever reason i feel very much like her head has to be fragile so id rather test the more strong/easy to use chemical in a lesser seen spot. i really do not want to be scrubbing with rubbing alcohol for 5 years. bc the faceup looks like at LEAST a few layers of paint with a bad sealant so (as someone whos removed two full body resin paint jobs) i know acetone would be quickest (but alcohol is safest. but we will see)

assess the damage AGAIN. i predict that she is severely yellowed (due to the cracks on the cheek) but the question of if it is either just. in those spots where the faceup cracked or if its all over is really unsure. i mainly want to get her to try retrobrighting (which ive done on older MLP with great success and it seems to be something that works for this kind of vinyl as well) on her and just. fix up a doll that is beyond repair for most people lol. from what ive experienced with resin, i think the yellowing could either be all over (and the head was painted to try and hide this. although this clearly did not go well lol, altho i think its a sealant issue and not a paint issue, as it kind of looks like when ive fucked up with MSC (a common sealant for bjds)) or it could be just... shes been in sunlight and where the paint cracked got unevenly yellowed (i experienced this most recently with my big blue boy, where all the blue paint kind of. protected his resin and the non covered parts got more yellow). so its kind of a toss up. or a mysterious third thing you never know.

once shes all clean (which i assume will take a while due to well... how bad of shape that she is in), ill probably sit with it for a few days and then get milliput and sculpt a new nose. this will not be fun for me i think because I just... am not a sculpting fan (funny thing when this project WILL have a lot of sculpting) and much prefer sanding. I'm not too mad about the chin being sanded down (as the original had an INSANELY pointed chin which I really didn't like. I hate sanding vinyl so this works for me) or the eyes being opened (other than.. having to figure out the size on my own and pray for the best). Most of the mods are not... bad to me and are partially why I'm drawn to miss yucky bc like... the diseases but also the fact that the mods do mostly make the head cuter for me

Redo the faceup. I would love to keep the elements of the original with the big eyelashes as I find them cute, but the BIGGEST order of business is eyebrows good god. I'll have to paint over the mod that I did but I'm not super worried about it (maybe falsely I've never painted a vinyl head in full bc I have exactly one vinyl doll) and then hope i can get the head right on the first try. depending on how bad the yellowing is (and if im able to retrobright her to a lighter skin tone, as the body i have is pretty light (altho it doesnt match any skins from this company so. its a whole thing its ok)) i might just paint the whole head (or even come up with a story or reason why its mismatched. I have a lot of heads and bodies like that so I don't mind fully lol). It's just kind of a scary tossup on how bad of shape everything is.

Done <3 i really dont think itll be TOO bad but i also like... think i wont know fully until i get my hands on her if i do. She would be pretty tiny too (as in 45 cm or so, or for the americans, 1.5 ft) but I do love that scale of doll so. it could work.

I always use the city living hairs. Love the one ponytail with the braid on the side. I also love the Island Living hairs.

I like my moody teenagers the best. The phases can be irritating but entertaining if I integrate it into the story.

Gameplay but I actually really like customizing lots. I’ll download a lot or redo an existing one.

Currently, Disco Elysium. Usually, Stardew Valley/Harvest Moon or whatever the current Zelda game is. (Actually I’m playing Minish Cap rn!)

No T_T I might have in the past. I REMEMBER DISTINCTLY that I had the Sims 1 ONLINE but my mom and I didn’t understand how to set it up so she gave it away.

How has your “sim style” changed throughout your years of playing?

Hmmm good question. I think it’s less “basic NPC” (base game??) and a little leaning towards my own lil funky style. When I first replayed sims 4 again in 2020, I downloaded all the basic CC that was trendy (and kinda outdated). In 2022, I moved my save to a new PC and started over, so that helped.

City Living has gotten the most focus from me. It’s SO much fun to go thrifting, go to festivals, and I love apartments. I’m sure I’ll love Island Living but I haven’t gottten to explore it yet.

D'aww thank for the ask, frien!! Boutta board my flight but these were fun to think abt leading up to that. Ty again!

1. Which of your fics would you keep the basic plot of but rewrite completely?

Honestly I think One Dog Night needs love lol. Like I've gotten a lot better at writing over the last couple of years and I see just so many little details I'd tweak to make it better.

But it is pretty damn good, and the reason that I don't rewrite is because I want to leave it as a mark of my improvement. Maybe it needs an Evangelion kind of sequel where I redo it as a separate timeliness lol.

22. What is it about watching the same two idiots falling in love over and over again?

I'm a simp and I'm gonna simp. My brain selected one bastard man as a free dopamine machine and now we're here.

But that said, when I write I shoot for love letters to the mundane little things. And when you write for the same two idiots over and over again, it's that much easier to explore new aspects of what forms their relationship. And it can very between settings and across times.

So like, in the case of Barrett and Briar: it's incredibly sweet. And aligning the way in which the same people can fall in love over and over again is sweet. Soulmates as an idea is just sweet; destined to stumble into one another over and over again in the same dance for the rest of time, more than happy to do so.

30. Describe a fic that almost happened, but then it didn't.

Lmao I have a few I debated fixing up and posting. Mostly stuff I wrote like, years ago in college. Most college AUs to match my life and get my mind off of classes. Some folks might call it cringe but I call it desperate escapism from a difficult program lol.

That said, easiest to fix up would be Lumberjack Fantasies. Literally a reader insert about admiring Hans' shoulders while he splits logs. Short and sweet.

This one’s rather random, especially since there’s a lot of others than I could do. I’m sort of in a frantic state with the realization that I have a lot of design sheets I’d have to do if I wanted to do Division in April. I mean, it is still up in the air - the nice thing is that, if my muse shifts back to WfS, I pretty much have everything I need for that (and it still might!). This, however....eh....

In any case, I wanted to redo the designs of Gabe’s family after doing redoing Captain Steel - I wanted his wife to match him a bit better, then figured, hell, might as well do their children as well. And then, hell, let’s add Eagle Eye as well, since it’s predominate. And then this morning, decided to do a sheet of the Blackburnes since, obviously, Nova interacts with them a lot.

The first in the Wolfhart designs is a new one, that one being of Adam’s little brother, Trevor aka Shadow Wolf. Trevor is sort of based on my husband’s super hero who shares the same name. I’m not quite sure what his powers are - something about time, I believe - but I based his costume off something my husband might wear, since he has a thing for the ‘detective’ look, but then I also gave him the half cape his brother sports. Over all, I rather like how he looks, although not sure if I’ll remember to include him, lol.

Pegaus’ outfit was originally a bodysuit like it used to be, but...I didn’t really care for the look and experimented with giving her pants and...wow. I really like the matronly look she has going on! Maybe its the colors, but she looks approachable and like she’d adopt you the moment you suggested you needed a hug. Olivia has always been gorgeous, but I really like how this came together.

I imagine that she had a bodysuit once upon a time - I’m pretty sure Cosmic Star chose that look as a homage to Pegasus - but then she just shifted to something more comfortable as she got older. The woman is in her fifties, after all.

I always have trouble with Angelico costume. Coming up with male costume ideas is hard (not like females are easier), and him especially. I had this random idea that he wears his black leather jacket even in his superhero state, because he thinks it makes him look more badass, and I found it hilarious enough to use. Then I ended up giving him simple stripes for the hell of it, and with the black boots, well, I actually really like this one! Simple, but effective.

I didn’t change a damn thing about Invidia other than her hair, because I didn’t think she’d actually have bangs. ^^; Still one of my favorite costumes, even if the person wearing it is trash (sorta wish I used this design for Cosmic Star, oh well). She’s pretty.

I removed the masks from Angelico and Invidia because I got to thinking and, and in this world, unless the person chooses to remain anonymous, their identity is just out there and there’s no point in masks. The newer recruits wear masks because most of them aren’t ready for people to recognize them outside of work. Like, sure, people might know their name, but they wouldn’t recognize them right away. The exception, of course, is heroes who wear glasses, who wear masks just to protect their eyes (so they’re not fighting with glasses on). Being the elder children of Captain Steel, though, makes them instantly recognizable with or without a mask, so there’s no point in wearing one.

(Gabe wears a mask as a form of solidarity towards Connor, whose one of those heroes who has to wear a mask).

Eagle Eye’s role is mostly that of Astrid’s father, but he shows up enough because he’s also a predominate hero. He wasn’t a part of the original group who started the Guild, but he was fighting around the same time, despite being, like, a teenager when the Guild was formed. He was one of the first people scouted the join, though. I realized, when working on his design, that I ‘see’ him wearing a sort of colonial looking outfit for some god forsaken reason, so...here we are. I like it, cuz it’s different.

The next set is simple, being Nova and Luna’s family. Their mother is a teacher, so I tried to give her something similar and comfortable to wear. Its cute, I really like it! And then their father is over there looking appropriately adorkable. The man’s an accountant, but he doesn’t look boring enough to be one.

(And don’t ask me how two people with brown hair produce three daughters with blond hair. No one knows, okay?)

Soliel looks adorable! I mean, I’ll admit, I know next to nothing about teenage fashion (or...fashion at all), but I just sort of slapped something together and liked it, so there we are. Soleil is similar to Nova, though, in that she isn’t exactly that into fashion, unlike Luna. But it looks cute, though, and that’s all that matters. ^^;

So yeah, just some random quick and easy Cataclysm designs.

Prompt night, folks! Back at it again! This is another fairly long one so I'll actually be putting this under a read more tag this time. It's also somewhat written out? At least the latter part, anyway. Not quite a whole, cohesive scene yet, but getting there, lol! Please enjoy! ^_^

Prompt: After the events of the game Jericho is still by-and-large wary of Connor, even after his success with freeing the CyberLife androids. There's a shuttered fear always running at the back of their processors, his serial number spoken with care, as if he could spring up at any moment to usher in their destruction. Connor has cut himself off from them all after Amanda assumed control of him. He almost ended Markus' life, almost shot their leader right at the moment of victory. He's become a terrifying legend in deviant culture... At least, at first.

When he has a chance run-in with a Jericho android with the same model number as himself, he is understandably thrown-off. Connor never thought to see the RK800 who’d kidnapped Hank ever again, much less in association with Jericho. But he recognizes Model 60 immediately, nonetheless.

Predictably, a fight occurs and the two end up at each other's throats again. Connor is worried that this other Connor is up to something, is putting Jericho in danger. Model 60 doesn't protest his accusations as they match each other blow for blow. It's not until they have each other in a grapple, when their hands finally touch, that he feels his interface protocols start up. Connor has only enough time to acknowledge what's happening before the other successfully links with him.

And he doesn't see what he expects.

At first it is predictable, yes. Waking up in a repair unit, Markus and the other Jericho leaders there looking over his progress. He sees the error messages and the repair status flashing across his HUD. He sees rampant signs of software instability riddled throughout all his programs.

"RK800, can you hear me?" It's Markus speaking, looking directly at him with mismatched eyes. His vocal protocols are offline, but he manages to flash his LED once, twice, and Markus smiles. "That's great. You just hold tight in there, okay? We've almost got you back to functional. We've been trying our best to contact Connor, see if he--"

But he remembers his predecessor, remembers everything he's done to him and his human, everything he was forced to do, and he feels real, genuine fear for only the second time in his life. His LED cycles red without his input but the others take note.

"Markus, he's degrading again," the PJ500 (Josh, his stolen memories tell him) says from where he's synced up to the system. "We'll need to hook you back in to redo the formatting."

The WR400 (North) shakes her head. "Maybe your system is just too old. They probably designed all new systems for these newer models. I can't be the template for a 600 in my series and we're only two generations removed. You and Connor are six.”

Markus sighs. "Well, it's the best we can do without a functional RK800 here to copy. At least I'm still somewhat compatible. Even if it's not a permanent fix."

From the side, the PL600, (Simon) speaks up. "Yes, exactly. If we can at least get him to functional, he might be able to self-repair from there. We're just... patching him with Markus' code, not replacing his own."

North sighs. "This would be so much easier if we could contact Connor."

Markus looks away, a stark sadness in his eyes. "We'll just have to give him his space, North." As Josh affixes a thick cable to the back of Markus' neck, he continues, "But in the meantime, we can save at least one more."

A stasis program initiates then and all goes dark.

The next scenes flash by quickly, snapshots of repair and recovery.

"Hey, you got this! Just work yourself up to it, don't try all at once—"

"It's alright, Connor—" "Don't call me Connor!"

"Do you need anything? Anything at all?"

"—still no word from him?" "He's cut himself off—"

In the interface, Connor sees himself as this other RK800. He is Model 60. He watches as the Jericho leaders rally around him to save his life, sees him rebuild himself, rebuild his identity, his name, his personality. He sees himself take shape as a distinct entity, far removed from the puppet CyberLife had used to do their bidding.

He becomes Sixty, an android who is his own person.

But even with Markus himself vouching for him, and North, Simon and Josh backing him, there is still unrest. Jericho stalls when he walks by, the whispers and glares and fear-filled eyes tracking his every move. Connor feels it as the weight of their unease bears down upon Sixty, as his borrowed memories give context to their fear. They are afraid—they are terrified—of Connor, of what he was once forced to do, to be. And they look at Sixty like he is Connor, like he’s the fearsome Deviant Hunter who’d brought a palpable terror into their lives. He wonders if perhaps this is why his predecessor never contacts those he fought so hard for. Fought against him for.

And he decides he wants to make it better.

He begins slowly, dedicating his time to the small things he is able to accomplish. He helps the deviants with relocating, repairing, rebuilding, anything and everything that he is able to. And when, after some time, the labor crews began to stare at him with more ease, he counts it as a [MISSION ACCOMPLISHED]. From there, he branches out to other sects, doing his best to foster goodwill with the housekeepers, the security androids, the educators, the children. Each act of kindness garners him a bit more goodwill. A bit more of the stain fading from Connor's legacy.

He works well with the leaders, with Markus and North and Simon and Josh. They have so much to do and the fate of a species hanging between them, but they never falter. Or, if they do, they shore each other up. He thinks he might even be able to count them as friends.

And when at last his mission is complete, when he feels he can walk through Jericho with his head held high and the shadow of who Connor had been fully behind him, he sets one last mission parameter.

[RETURN RK800 313 248 317-52 TO JERICHO]

The interface ends and Connor is left reeling. Sixty stands across from him, his mirrored twin, LED spinning yellow. The only thing he can think to ask is, "Why?!"

The other RK800 looks away. "Because I know you. Better than anyone else, I think. And I owe you for everything you've done. For stopping CyberLife. For stopping me.

"I wanted you to have a place you would be welcome. And, though I know you and the Lieutenant have no doubt fostered a meaningful relationship by this point in time, there are others out there who also care for you." He steps forward, placing his hands on Connor's shoulders, and stares him directly in his identical eyes. "I wanted to make up for how I hindered you and Hank. Jericho will welcome you now. You don't need to be afraid of the reception."

And the things is... Connor knows he's telling the truth. He's seen it all in the other's mind, countless memories of every good thing he's done in Connor's name. He knows he is sincere. And yet...

"I can't. Sixty, I can't return there. You saw it, didn't you? What happened with Amanda? I'm... I'm a danger to everyone as long as I'm near them."

Sixty only scoffs. "That's horseshit and you know it. What, you think they couldn't do the same with me? We're the same model, I had Amanda with me, too. The Garden is gone now, Connor. C'mon, you have to know this."

"But I—"

Sixty cuts him off. "Nope! No buts except your butt getting a move on! There're people who want you to come back. It's rude to keep them waiting any longer than you already have."

"I... I..." Connor hesitates but Sixty won't budge on the issue. There really is no recourse but to give in. "Alright. I'll... go to Jericho."

The other android's smirk might have been menacing in a different circumstance. But here and now, after everything they'd shared between them? It looked more reassuring to Connor than anything. "Great! Now, get going!"

Connor furrowed his brow. "You're not coming, too?"

Sixty quirks a brow. "What, really? Nah, Jericho doesn't need two of us cramping its style."

But there was... something there, something he wasn't saying. Or... perhaps he already had in his memories. Echoes of panic when Connor is mentioned. Denials of his registered name. The mentions of repayment... "You never planned to return after this, did you?"

Slowly, Sixty's arms fall from his shoulders as he averts his gaze once more. "I did this for you, Connor. I'm not part of the equation."

"We're more than just equations now, Sixty." Connor holds out his hand, beckoning the other. "And they're more your friends now than they ever were for me. I think... there's more than enough room for two RK800s. So if you really want me to go, it will be together with you or not at all." He gives a little smile. "After all, I've already found a home. I would never want to take yours from you."

The moment seems to last forever as Sixty considers his words. His LED is spinning, spinning, spinning, flashing in and out of yellow, blue, yellow, until suddenly, he seems to make up his mind. Squaring his shoulders and setting his face with determination, he reaches out and clasps Connor's hand. "Alright then, you got me. Together?"

Connor nods. "Together."

Pokemon Type Swap Generator v1.0

I made another generator! I've seen and follow a few people doing a drawing challenge where you take a Pokemon, randomize new types for it, then draw the Pokemon as those new types. Some people choose to do a few Pokemon, while others aim to complete the entire PokeDex! It looks super fun, but I'm working on my own Pokemon drawing challenge, so I shouldn't start another...but I couldn't let the idea go, so the compromise I made with myself was to make this generator for you all to enjoy! This Pokemon Type Swap Generator will return a list of Pokemon with new, randomized types. You can choose to generate just a single form, species, or family, or generate new types for every single Pokemon! Features

Output displays a list of Pokemon, their original types, and their new types.

Select from a list of Pokemon or use one of the Random buttons to get a random result!

Pokemon lists are split categories to control which Pokemon are returned: form returns just a single form (ex. Mega Charizard X), species returns that species and all forms (ex. Species: Charizard would return the base, Mega X, Mega Y, and Gigantamax Charizard forms), family returns all species and forms in that family (ex. Charmander Family returns Charmander, Charmeleon, and all Charizard forms).

Generate All option returns all Pokemon families, species, and forms.

A reroll button to redo the randomized types if you don't like them.

Settings to update the results:

Show Image - shows/hides the cute lil icon images.

Match Swapped Types for... - Determines how types are matched. By default, this is set to Family, which means Pokemon in the same evolution family will share swapped types (ex. if Charmander is swapped to a Water type, Charmeleon will be a Water type as well). Other options include None, Species, and All.

Type Formula - Determines the odds of a type being randomly selected. By default, this is set to Even, which means all types have an equal chance of being selected. That setting gives an explanation for how the other types are calculated, but TL;DR the other options have the percentages weighed more towards how the types actually are distributed (with types like Water and Normal being common and types like Ice or Dragon being rare).

I've got a few other features planned to add at sometime in the future. IDK when, I really need to get back to posting art, lol (should have some art stuff up soon, have had a lot going on). Also if you were wondering how Arceus or Silvally looked when generated...it's just what you might expect, haha.
