It's been a long time since an anime has made me cry, when I first saw Sankaku Mado no Sotogawa wa Yoru, I knew this was gonna be a good anime, but I underestimated it on how good it would be
ahhhh, no words can describe it and I want to listen to Nicole Dollanganger's Poacher's Pride because I remember somebody saying the learned violence you get from your father, I wish it was from both, the learned violence from both your mother and father
the power of love is truly something, I gotta read the manga, I almost wish this was longer but it's so beautiful already even in just 1 episodes
oh, one last thing, Hanzawa was def the closest thing to a father figure Hiyazawa had, I'm glad there's decent men around to act as a father figure

Text Version:
(scum)
We’re all filth
A mesh of flesh and bone and dirt and rot
A jagged and crumbling precipice of life and death
One a shove from tumbling and ripping and tearing
On jagged-sharp stones
To rock bottom
There is no good
We’re all selfish
We want what we don’t deserve
We take what we haven’t earned
We are the gods of our own universe
A projection that matters
And exists
Only to us
We choose what to care about
We put value only on what matters to us
We cling to the people we choose
Selfish
Draining them dry
Putting them first only when it suits our own interests
After all, they aren’t people
They’re tools to only grieve when no longer available
We bend to the whims of others when it benefits us
Even when others
Are crushed beneath our shifting weight
We place our own pain first
Our own circumstance above anything else
We expect others to trust us
When we change allegiance at convenience
When we crack and crumble our personal beliefs
For profits
For safety
Even if it kills us in the end
We will always follow the path of least resistance
Less pain
Less trouble
We sink into isolation to save others from ourselves
But no one really benefits
Except for the one escaping
We hide from our truths
Our realities
Our fears
Pretending it’s for our own self-preservation
When it’s really our own comfort we chase
Our routine
Our sanity
At the expense of anything or anyone underfoot
Our knowledge and safety is a right that’s only exclusive to us
Even when it violates the right of another
We blind ourselves to our own faults and feelings
To save ourselves
Knowing that in return we trample over everyone
Even those who reach our way in return
Our selfishness saves us at the cost of others
Though we know that it’s truly ourselves that we cannot survive
To be such a disgusting person
That even we have to hide from ourselves
We don’t deserve to be able to avoid it
But our armor is thick and sharp
It impales others without thought
Pushing through and shoving down the world around us
We are all criminals
Perpetrators of our own greedy needs and thoughts
Hands that reach out and take and take and take
Except….
Except…
When you reach out your hand
And you take mine
With no ownership
With no demand
With no driving force
With no selfishness
With no blindness
You reach out, warm fingers entwined with mine
Mine, that are cold
Barely alive
Only knowing the touch that takes
And still, you only reach out
Because it’s me
Because it’s you
And that’s enough
We’re enough
*rises from the grave* Hello again! Life's been hell, but I found an older poem I wrote for this series the other day, shined it up, and thought it seemed a fitting way to close off this little collection. Kind of a combination of where I started and where I am? And touching on the character growth of all the characters, not just the main ship.
Not that I may not revisit the series in the future--I'm still absolutely feral over them. I'm just so very tired, and having so many "unfinished" projects makes me anxious. (I'll probably make a cover/ebook for this one like I did with my Sasaki to Miyano and Sabikui Bisco poetry! If you download the collection through AO3, I think you can add a cover to a file through a free program like Calibre. I'll slap a link here when I make one!) I'll update this project if/when I come back, or who knows! Maybe I'll do an AU fic like my current project.
Thank you so, so much to everyone who's given this collection a chance <3 I hope you're all doing okay on your side of the screen!

Hi....If you don't mind me asking, who are your favorite romantic relationship's couples in books/ manga/ anime/movies/tv series (can be canon or non-canon)? Sorry if you've answered this question before......Thanks....
Hi~ I like these types of questions so I don't mind.
(Un)fortunately, almost all my favorite relationships are mostly non-canon BL couples...and since this is officially blog for my bl fandoms so...
My top 3 non-canon ships as of the moment are:
#1 Fujiwara Shuu/Narumiya Minato from Tsurune
#2 Kang Youngwoo (Onishi Yuu) / Lee Shihyeon (Ishida Kenji) from Into the Depths Japanese title: Nanohana Boys (菜の花ボーイズ)
#3 Ichikura Hayate/Mima Takayuki from Cool Doji Danshi... My latest obsession
My fav canon couple goes to:
Hiyakawa Rihito and Mikado Kousuke from Sankaku Mado no Sotogawa wa Yoru

Recommendation # 6
Sankaku Mado no Sotogawa wa Yoru: The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window
Category: Series, Animated
18+: No
Kousuke Mikado has been able to see spirits for as long as he can remember. Extremely terrified of them, he tries to suppress his ability by wearing glasses. One day, while working at a bookstore, he catches the attention of Rihito Hiyakawa, an eccentric medium who is convinced that they were destined to meet each other. Thanks to Hiyakawa's antics, Mikado is thrust into the world of the paranormal, with the former promising that he will shed his fears if Mikado stays with him. As they continue to work together, the two discover a series of malicious curses that all point to the same name—"Erika Hiura." What is this person's goal, and how do they connect with Mikado and Hiyakawa?
This anime is definitely VERY fruity however it does the "will they, won't they" trope, which makes it seem like a bromance more than a romance, but the plot is really interesting and the chemistry between the main leads is really good. I suggest reading manga, it's way more obvious with the pining.
Note: There is a live action version of this too!
Personal Rating: 8.5/10

Don’t mind me crying over this illustration..😭 Thank you, director……❤️
Hiyami is love….Not only are they so close here, there are some things I want to point out what makes this illustration such a huge deal, regarding their relationship, so here we go! 🏃🏻♀️
- Their bodies/hips are turned towards each other, indicating their desire to be closer to one another…The fact that their bodies are facing the other means that they are very close and that their relationship has taken a turn to become something more deeper, intimate…
- Hiyakawa leaning down..This one is such a sweet gesture. Not only is he bending his knees to be the same height as Mikado but because he wanted Mikado to be comfortable in placing his arm around Hiyakawa’s shoulders…..
Remember..
Mikado (177cm) is 9cm shorter than Hiyakawa (186cm). Hiyakawa puts Mikado’s comfort above anything….
- Mikado putting his arm around Hiyakawa’s shoulders. This is really a huge deal.
Mikado is not big on skinship meaning he isn’t the type to be open to physical contact with just anyone. For him to place his arm around Hiyakawa and also having the implication that he is pulling Hiyakawa closer to him means that he is very comfortable around the other……
He feels safe around Hiyakawa……
- The HEART SIGN. Need I say more?
Hiyami is just- So precious, so sweet…..

What did Mukae here at the moment of switching places with Mikado? Did he unseal the “tail” Hiyakawa put on him?
