Melting ~

Mina x M Reader.

Part 1 of N

"Babe, stop staring! Do you want me to melt?", your beautiful girlfriend said with a blush.

"It's your fault, you know. Standing there looking gorgeous." you answered.

She smiled. That damn smile that gets you every time. You know you're in love, and falling more and more. You did not know what your past life did to deserve what you have right in front of you. Not that it matters. What matters is the moment. That very moment.

"Mina", you said smiling. It's bliss. Pure bliss.

You feel a tap on your shoulder. Then twice, thrice, and continuous taps. Your world started to blur upon your eyes. And then there's light. You are welcomed by the real world. Genuinely confused, you blinked your eyes and scan the room. You are in a classroom. It hits you. You were dreaming. All that bliss was just a dream. Your heart sank for a moment. Trying to regain your composure, you proceed to fix how you look after that deep slumber.

"Well at least you get the experience being her boyfriend. Even just for a dream.", you said to yourself.

On your way to stand up from the chair you slept on, you realized someone tapped you. You completely forgot the person who interrupted that amazing dream.

"I heard you mention my name", says the voice.

It's a very familiar voice. The very same voice you heard in your dream. Your eyes widen with the realization, and there she is, Mina Sharon Myoui in the flesh. One of the most popular girl in the campus by fate or coincidence woke you up from the very same dream she was on. You are panicking internally. However, you managed to gather yourself enough to say that she might have misheard before your flight mode kicked in and rushed to get out of the room. You did not look back due to embarrassment. You were gone like the wind. Although, you heard her chuckle on your way out adding insult to injuries. You just want to disappear right now.

Later that same day.

The sun is on its last light. You are on the College of Architecture Building overlooking a wide soccer field that some varsities are playing on. However you pay them no mind. You are lost deep in your thoughts thinking about what transpired earlier. Mina caught you mentioning her name. The Mina Sharon Myoui. The symbol of grace and elegance of the whole campus. She is also an Architecture student, on her third year just like you. You share most of your classes together. You share some circle of friends, not that you have many because you always keep to yourself. Heck, she even know you exist since you exchange greetings when both of your paths crossed. You are not close of course, because you always maintain your distance. Not wanting to be just another guy that gawks at her. She has enough of them. You admire her yes, because it's impossible not to. But you keep it yourself. Your closely guarded secret.

"What will she think of me now?" escaped a defeated voice after a huge sigh.

You scratched your head, you know you will eventually meet her again and that's what makes it more embarrassing.

"Hey (yn)", said a voice out of nowhere.

"You always like to be alone huh?, added the voice.

You looked around and saw two ladies that are always a welcome sight. Im Nayeon, the one who spoke and Park Jihyo, greeted you with a smile. They are both Architecture Seniors.

"You knew him for 3 years and you're still wondering about that?, Jihyo asked Nayeon with an inquisitive look.

"Well, I just couldn't understand how someone can live like that?" Nayeon retorted.

You cannot help but laugh. Which helps since it stops the two from talking about you.

"You know what, it will be so much better if you hang out with me", Nayeon said with a hint of flirt.

Yes, Im Nayeon is flirting with you. Well you think part of it is that she is just naturally flirty but also because you do not look bad yourself. You look decent for someone who does not put the best effort on looking good. You are not athletic looking but you are fit since you work out. You even turn some heads when you pass so it reinforced your belief that you do look good even if its just a little. However, what boosts your confidence is your intelligence. Almost if not everyone in the Architecture Department know that you are intelligent. You have a knack on your academics. Although, all that confidence crumbles in front of Mina.

"(yn)!", an annoyed Nayeon shouted.

"Are you just gonna ignore what I said?"

"Sunbae, it's for my own good. We all know you don't date. I'll will lose the moment I fall for you", you replied playfully.

Jihyo laughed out loud as Nayeon frowned. The conversation shifted on how Jihyo teased Nayeon on her stand on dating. As usual, she goes on her mantra of why she does that. Feeling that you are off the hook, you interrupted to bid good bye, bowed and went your way home worrying what will happen tomorrow.

The next day..

Mina entered the classroom in a white shirt and a simple jeans. Yet she look stunning. For a moment you forgot that you have been dreading this since last night. Will there be any changes on how she treats you after what happened yesterday? Will she keep her distance now knowing that you're just another guy who simp for her? You may not have a lot of interactions but you treasure your casual moments. You feared that all that will stop. But all those worries disappeared when she scans the room, greeting your fellow classmates. When both of your eyes met, she flashed a smile and waved hello and proceed to seat on her chair.

"I guess she forgot about it", you muttered to yourself.

A mixture of relief and sadness stirred inside you. You were relieved that she still treats you the same. On the other hand you were sad that for her, it does not even matter.

Class moved slowly that morning. But at least it took you out of your thoughts about Mina. First period ended and as you fixed your stuffs and stood up, you heard a voice from behind that made your body tensed up.

"(yn)!", it's Mina.

You gather yourself. You took shelter from the comfort that it did not matter to her, that she forgot about it. You turn around with a familiar way you faced her for the past 3 years. Facing her with the outmost care of not showing any hint that you like her. You did that very well. Or so you thought you did.

"Hi Mina! What's up?", you are amazed how smooth that sounded.

"Why did you ran out the room yesterday?", she asked with amusement in her tone.

Damn! She did not forget. Once again you found yourself being overwhelmed with embarrassment. Your mind is racing.

"Ah- I thought I was gonna be late for a tutor session I promised someone. Yes! A- a tutor session."

Not the best of reasons but you'll take it.

"Oh really? Well did you make it then?", she asked.

"Yes! I was a bit late though", a much calmer you replied.

"That's good! I gotta go. See you on our next class", she wave goodbye and left.

You felt a wave of relief once again. You got out of a very tricky situation.

The rest of the morning rolled like one of your normal days. By lunch time you prefer to eat alone but today you were joined by two second year Art Major students. Chou Tzuyu and Son Chaeyoung, you met both of them on math remedial class you once presided. They asked to treat you a meal since they scored great on their next exams. You find them interesting enough and enjoyed their company ever since. Tzuyu was the little sister type while Chaeyoung was this badass tomboy.

You told them of the things that happened the past 24 hours and since then you were bombarded with questions.

"Oppa! Until when will you keep what you feel though?", Tzuyu asked with frustration written all over her face.

"I know right! Hyeong, if I were you. I'll tell her straight to her face", typical Chaeyoung.

"Chill you two! I am satisfied with the situation. And besides, do you think I have a chance?"

"Satisfied my ass! Plus you still thinks you have no chance against Kim Sehoon?" Chaeyoung resigns to a sigh.

"It's no use Chaeng, we have been in this conversation for almost a year now." Tzuyu added.

Ahhh Kim Sehoon, that damn Kim Sehoon. Many girls considered that guy the man of their dreams. He looks good, even you accept that. He is also an Art Major, senior and part of the soccer varsity club. A real popular among girls. You don't know much of his personality. Well even if he acted like an angel, you will still not like him due to a very simple fact. He also likes Mina. And as far as everyone thinks, he is the best guy qualified to be the boyfriend. So its normal to not like him. It is in the very nature of man. You resign yourself everyday with that on the back your mind, and today was no different.

A few weeks passed with the same routine each day. You still look at Mina, a one sided crush. On most days, Sehoon will come and talk to her. You hate those times. But what can you do? You did nothing. You chose to do nothing, and that is the one thing you really hate about yourself.

Today has a different vibe in the school. A school chukje or festival is around the corner. Everyone is busy preparing for each booths and activities. Of course your Architecture Department is busy as well. The seniors are within the thick of the preparation. Since you are a bit close to two of them, it is no wonder that you are in the midst as well. They need all the help they can get. The plan was a pajeon and burger stand, along with games. There will also be a design-your-future-house booth that will be facilitated by the best Architecture students. Sounds like a very good plan, and you did your very best to help.

"Is there any one here who is confident to cook burgers?", Jihyo asked.

No one seems confident enough at first. Thinking that that's your chance to have a role that you can be at the back, also you are quite confident in your cooking skills so your raise your hand.

"Oh jinjja? Can you cook burgers (y/n)?", asked Nayeon with a big smile.

You nodded and without any objections you were assigned to cook the burgers. You did not pay attention much to what was discussed after since you had your assignment already. Preparations seems to be doing very well as the seniors checked every thing that needs to be checked.

Days past with the same hectic feeling until the day of the festival finally came.

The festival started around afternoon that day, there were programs and activities first and by the time the booths started to open it was close to dusk. You take your post behind the grill, and to your surprise Mina was there. She was tasked to take the orders. That means that you're gonna be working together that night. You feel tensed. Maybe because you are nervous or excited, you did not know.

"You ready?" she asked you with a smile.

"Yeah, pleased to be working with you" you replied.

You did not know where those words came from, but you cursed yourself more for sounding too formal. She seemed to be delighted to hear it though so you smiled.

"I hope we can sell many", she said.

"I know we will. You standing there to take the orders is a guaranteed marketing strategy", again words just comes out from your mouth.

"What do you mean?", with a puzzled look on her face.

"I mean you're beautiful", you can't believe that came out from you.

There was a very long pause. You thought the world just stopped. Or is it just you?

"First order, two cheeseburgers!".

Oh it's just you. She did not hear what you just said. That's for the better you thought.

"Copy, two cheeseburgers", you shouted back.

Alright back to burgers!

Orders came and went. As expected the marketing strategy worked. Burgers was the absolute best seller. Sehoon even visited to buy. Of course, you knew it was because of Mina. He even asked if he can accompany her to look around campus later. You smiled on the little victory when she said she is not sure due to the burger stand. Not long after the line was beginning to thin out. Jihyo and her boyfriend took over your place to give you both a break which you gladly accepted. Mina was done first because you need to teach Jihyo's boyfriend on how to cook the burgers. By the time you are done, you went to the back to catch a breather, Mina was there. She noticed you immediately and beam a radiant smile.

"Good job out there", she said.

There is no point in excusing yourself. You'll take this opportunity.

"Good job as well. That was such a long line", you replied.

"It was because of the burgers", said Mina.

On the back of your mind, you object. Saying that it is because of her but opted not to put it into words. You hand her a bag. You knew she did not expected it but you are thankful she accepted it with big smile.

It is a cheeseburger and a drink. Her eyes sparkled when she realized what is was.

"Is this really for me?", a huge grin on her face.

You nodded.

"How about you? Are you not gonna eat?" as she noticed the burger.

"I have had enough of the smell", you said jokingly.

She laughed.

"Jal meokkesseumnida!" as she started to consume the burger.

There was no other words said as she continues to eat. No one said a single word. She was focused on eating while you watched her enjoyed what you prepared.

"Glad you enjoyed it", you said after she took the last bite.

"That was really good! It definitely was the burger".

You thought of the same thing you want to say earlier but again chose to keep it to yourself.

"Do you want to come and look around the other booths?" she asked.

For a moment you could not believe what you heard. It was an invitation. To top it all off it was the same thing Sehoon asked her earlier. And there you were, on the end of the very same question.

It is too good to be true, the last time you experienced something like this it was just dream. You had to make sure it is not. You pinch yourself too hard but discreetly, you closed your eyes as you felt the pain.

You cannot wait to open your eyes back. Is this really happening?

You've been together with Mina since her debut days which is a very long time. You are always acting as the tough type of girlfriend but around Mina you are totally soft for her. She and her bandmates know that you are totally whipped for her. You would do almost anything for her.

By the way you've been married with Mina since two years. Which was the happiest day of your lives. You still couldn't believe how lucky you've been. She will always be the love of your whole life.

That's why you and Mina was out one night with her bandmates sitting in vip lounge of a famous nightclub not far away from the house that you both own. Your hand wrapped around her waist her clothes covered body cuddle into your body. Her hand held the red straw of her drink towards her mouth so she would be able to drink. Her bandmates smirked when they saw how you glanced towards Mina with a soft expression on your face. Nayeon smirked towards Jihyo mocking how you usually would act tough around them.

Suddenly a blonde waitress walked towards the table where you sat at into the vip lounge half clothed obviously flirting with your girlfriend. Who was busy cuddling into you and glancing at you with admiration,

„Hello can I get you guys anything. Especially the beautiful lady right there...?" Asked the woman playful flirtatious with her voice. She obviously pushed her chest out more.

You glared into her direction with a serious expression on your face. Nayeon and the other's smirked into your direction.

„Yes I want you to leave my wife alone she's obviously taken by the ring on her finger. Now go away." Growled you with anger in your voice.

The blond waitress walked away very fast with a scared expression on her face which caused Mina's bandmates to wheezing.

„Possessive much." Teased Nayeon with amusement in her voice.

Everyone laughed besides of you who was mumbling under your breath. Mina pouts which changed to a smirk.

„Awe is my big baby jealous." Cooed Mina with amusement in her voice.

You glared to her which softened when you held eye contact with Mina. Your wife of two years.

You glanced towards her with admiration Mina felt her cheeks flushing red. Jihyo felt a smile tug on her lips when she noticed your love for her bandmate Mina.

„Hi I am Y/N and I act as a tough woman. But in reality I am a big soft baby whipped for Mina." Mocked Momo with amusement in her voice.

Everyone laughed besides of you who glared to her bandmates. You crossed your arms to your chest they laughed even more by then.

„My poor wifey I am sorry darling." Mumbled Mina in your ear with seriousness and amusement in her voice.

You wrapped your arm around her lower back pulling her closer into your embrace. Mina's cheeks flushed red when she could smell the lavender scent of your YSL perfume.

„Okay okay I am Y/N Myōi and I am whipped for my glorious wifey Mina. Who is more talented than anyone knows." Confessed you with seriousness in your voice.

Her hand intertwined with yours which had your wedding rings on it. She kissed the back from your hand.

After a few hours you both decided to leave since Mina was in mood to cuddling her wifey. You was glad cause you hated the smell of alcohol, sweat and crowded rooms.

Her bandmates awed when you wrapped your black leather jacket around your wifey linking your arm with her arm. You lead her towards your red Porsche car which she's still in love with. You both named your Porsche car 'Twice.'

Later that night you both kissed each other cuddling on the bed. Your arm was wrapped around her stomach so Mina would feel safe and comfortable in your arms during sleeping.
