Link thought encountering two Divine Beasts would mean he’d be ready to face the ones to come, but no. Even seeing Vah Medoh in the distance before couldn’t have prepared him for being under it now. The Divine Beasts are all so unique that each one completely redefines the concept of majesty . The great avian machine circles over Stonespire, letting loose another sky-splitting cry. Its mighty wingspan casts a shadow over the lake and its powerful motors, even from so high up, whip up turbulent winds that whirl around the valley. The setting sun haloes it, and it appears darker than the others. The purple glow of the malice puppeting it is only visible in pulses and spurts in gaps in the distant machinery, and in the spraying sparks and flashes of light that look like shooting stars. Other than that, it’s a dreadful silhouette prowling the sky. Trailing behind it are streaks of dark purple smog, billowing out from its ‘beak’ and the spaces between its wings and its body, only adding to its unique foreboding presence.

The ground-level panic continues as Medoh gives off an echoing rumble that Link feels vibrating in his teeth, until the Divine Beast curls back around towards the snowy peaks to the immediate north. He sees the rito flying from pillar to pillar, a flurry of feathers and fearful distant squawks, but they keep their flight paths tight to the structures. Only when it becomes clear the danger has passed do they settle. The whole valley is tenser than it was just moments before. The perfect serenity of the pictoresque autumnal scene is broken by the reminder of the threat of destruction that looms over their heads. 

Link’s heart races, breathless from the brief but powerful shot of adrenaline. He nudges Nyx back into motion and they speed down the steep hill towards the stable, where the commotion is still dying down. It seems that with each Divine Beast he comes to tame the danger gets more and more urgent. Link doesn’t have any details yet on how exactly Vah Medoh poses a threat to the Rito in its possessed state, but the fear he just witnessed is undeniable. There will be no time to waste. 

Based on the view from above, Link thought this stable was just more sprawling than the others he’s seen, but as he reaches the bottom of the hill he realizes the stable is flanked by a small market on one side, and a logging mill on the other. The market is no more than a handful of wooden stalls occupied by merchants-- some travelling, some local-- and their wares. He passes one vendor selling sacks of grain, a brightly-feathered rito woman selling a whole host of textile goods, and other sellers of products and resources that must be hard to come by in the Tabantha region. As he steers Nyx through towards the stable, Link spots a familiar teal plumage he hadn’t expected to see again so soon. Off to the side, a tall gray-and-brown rito merchant stands huffily, while Kass appears to be in the midst of a heated debate with none other than Beedle. Link dismounts, leaving both his animal companions by the counter.

Why would transition save them?: "Well. WELL. Was this an undertaking of an age. First of all, we have the name situation. First, both her Japanese name, Suguri, and their English name, Kieran, are gender neutral names, with her Japanese name actually being the feminine/unisex for of the name, which uses the kanji for "plum", and their English name leaning more masculine in terms of popularity. In addition, her names in other languages tend to lean more neutral-feminine; their German name is Jo, a popular unisex name that brings to mind the ambiguously nonbinary and/or lesbian coded character Jo March from Little Women, her Spanish name is Cass, a name frequently associated with female characters and has ties to the name "Cassandra", with their French, Italian, Korean, and Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese names leaning more towards the popular, stereotypically-associated-with-nonbinary-people noun names. In addition, Carmine, her sibling (who I will get to in another post) calls them by the feminine nickname "Kiki", which is equally feminine in the Japanese, French, and Italian languages: "Sugu," "Kass", and "Riri". The only time Carmine uses a rather masculine leaning nickname on Kieran is in Spanish, and even then, the meaning is gender neutral, if a bit derogatory in the way older sisters are to younger siblings: she calls her by "Enano", a word colloquially meaning "kid" or "dwarf".

Now, onto the story. Kieran's dilemma starts in that they very, almost obsessively, admire the ogre in the legend of the Teal Mask. The ogre, Ogerpon, also coincidentally happens to always be female, by the way. Kieran admires Ogerpon for being strong, and being herself, and always being able to stand tall even when people misunderstand her, which is a common trans narrative as it is. And for Kieran to relate to a transfeminine coded narrative, where someone seemingly monstrous and scary is actually a sweet girl who doesn't want to hurt anyone and is misunderstood by all, is very significant for their gender. This obsession with Ogerpon affects her in multiple ways, and it distresses them to the point that when the main protagonist catches her at the end of the DLC, she drastically changes for the worse, adopting a toxically masculine persona of anger, rage and power to "become stronger", "fit in", "be tougher", so they wouldn't get hurt again. I personally think this is a heavy transfeminine nonbinary coded narrative, enough that I consider narratives like these to be integral to my other CAMAB nonbinary headcanons, such as Colonel.EXE from Megaman Battle Network and Hugo from Street Fighter (both of whom I will discuss in other mod posts). In short, I think if she decided to explore their gender and eventually figure out they were on the feminine and gender neutral spectrums of nonbinary gender, she would probably feel a lot better about themself and wouldn't have to force herself to be toxically masculine and cruel to "be strong."--mod @sunkern-plus

MIDAS Project OC Rules

I would like to note here at the top that these are the same rules that we gave our players during character creation and what we as GMs also abide by.

No God Modding. This means characters with powers such as Bill Cipher's reality bending. Loopholes are discussed in-house with PCs and are not applicable in OC content. (tldr, no loopholes.) Each character is only allowed one Tumblr Sexyman, so it's easier to ensure fair participation, but in order to preserve the experience overall, there is no god-modding allowed in character powers.

No Murder Hobos. A murder hobo is a term popularized in Tabletop RPG [ttrpg] spaces about characters who choose—above all other options—to solve their problems with killing and hurting NPCs and other PCs. Especially in tandem with "insane" characters, it's disrespectful and insensitive. Most TTRPG Dungeon Masters, when seeing a murder hobo in the making will actively either bar you from participating, ban you from their table, or both. No one likes roleplaying with someone who solves all their problems with murder.

Character assignments do not have to be on the sexypedia but they must meet at least 10 tropes as listed here.

We've gotten this question in the past so I'll mention it here as well, the gender of the character doesn't not affect the possibility of assignment. Tumblr Sexymen' (for you younger tumblr users especially) is specifically a term used to describe characters who are surprisingly loved by Tumblr or the rest of the internet, especially romantically. It was popularized by the site-wide fascination with characters such as The Onceler [The Lorax (2012)], Jack Frost [Rise of The Guardians], Sans [Undertale], and Bill Cipher [Gravity Falls]. It has no relation to gender, sexuality, or any other defining aspects, but it can be designated with Sexyman OR Sexywoman depending on personal preference. Most older Tumblr users will use the term Sexyman indiscriminately.

If you create a character with an assignment that is not on the wiki please DO NOT make suggestions or edits to the wiki.

Hey Every!!!

Hey everybody! I’ve got some bad news haha… So this “post” I made a while back, referenced a Deltarune project I wanted to work on. This project was going to be a comic series based on my interpretation of chapters 3-7. At first I was ecstatic on working on this series, but as time went on I realized how difficult and time consuming this was going to be. As much as I want to work on this, I don’t think I can undertake such a project as there’s other more original projects I want to focus on. I’m sorry for anyone that wanted to see this project happen. However I still do want to share my ideas on the contents of the project, mostly the characters and the ideas behind them and other miscellaneous stuff. I’ll gladly answer any questions pertaining to any information about my interpretation of the chapters, this can span to the characters themselves, general chapter information, or questions about me I guess (nothing too personal though.) With that being said below this chunk of text, I drew all the main/secret bosses of each chapter including chapters 1 and 2, I also have the finished version of the secret boss portrait down below as promised!

Tyto Axe WIP

A WIP of the Tyto Axe, a one handed weapon used by Rito living outside of Torikirika (Toe-re-key-re-ka), aka Rito Village, in my fanfic, "The Realm Walker."

So these are the variants of the Tyto Axe, the spikes, hook, and hammerback were developed to counter the armor of soldiers from the Bahreyo (Bah-reoh) Alliance (which is to Hyrule's northwest) just in case conflict between them and the Rito arose. The hammerback axe can also be used against Pebblit monsters. The buttcap spike can be used with any of the other three versions or alone as depicted here.

Brown leather is standard leather from animals such as deer, red-brown leather is made from Red Monster hides, while blue leather is made from Blue Monster hides, which is very difficult to work with and requires hours of purification rituals before use. The leather on the secondary handles, designed for use in talons, indicates rank of the user.

The Buttcap spike is a little over 23 mm long. I'm considering making the handles a little longer.

Size comparison with a Sketchup guy and some other weapons. Oh what's this, you get a free bonus weapon... The Egret Spear is a one-handed spear used by the Rito in "The Tale of the Realm Walker" set 20-years after the events of Wind Waker.

Just a quick shot of some axes used by an OC of mine, Rinili. He usually carries two matching axes so he's got six of these on a weapons rack in his roost.

A quick mockup of Rinili's roost as seen in Chapter 9 of "The Ballad of Kass"! Not to scale at all, and obviously there's no glass table... Anyhoo, it's described as plainly decorated, one of those chests has a spare hammock. In Rito Village, weapons aren't allowed in the village proper (save for Harth's bow shop and the hidden stashes Teba put around the pillar), unless your a Warrior and the village is in crisis that is.

Turen går til Tasmanien part 1/3

Jeg har haft mid semester break, og denne blev brugt down under down under i Tassie. Her var jeg på grupperejse, hvor jeg var på en 5 day Tassie trip. Der er altså virkelig meget at skrive om, så det bliver nok spredt ud over et par opslag.

Søndag (Hobart - Bicheno):

I dag startede min roadtrip gennem Tassie! Vi startede klokken 7:00 og kørte fra Hobart til Wine Glass Bay, hvor vi vandrede vi på Mount Amos. Det var kun en 2 km retur vandretur, men den var omkring 350 højdemeter. Det var altså meget stejlt, men vildt fedt! På toppen var der en smuk udsigt over Wine Glass Bay, som har sit navn fra hvalfisker dagene. Her ville de rense hvalerne ved stranden, og breden ville fyldes med blodet. Derfor ville stranden altså være helt rød, og den lignede derfor rødvin. Heldigvis er der ikke mere hvalfiskeri i Tasmanien, så nu er vandet flot og blåt!

Efter stoppet ved Wine Glass Bay kørte vi til Bicheno, hvor vi spottede pingviner! Her kommer pingvinerne altså op efter solnedgang, for at komme tilbage til deres reder. Pingviner er meget bange dyr, så efter de havde fundet en sten på vejen de kunne gemme sig under, kom de ikke meget videre i den time vi kiggede på dem. Det var meget mørkt, men pingviner kan ikke se rødt lys, derfor kunne vi se dem med det røde lys. Pingvinerne bruger flere timer på at komme tilbage til deres redder hver aften, fordi de er de mest bange dyr. Vi sad og kiggede på dem under stenen i mindst en time, og det lykkedes altså kun en pingvin at bevæge sig videre mod sin redde. Meget fjollede dyr.

Mandag (Bicheno - Launceston):

I dag vågnede vi lige inden kl 5 for st se solopgangen i Bicheno på østkysten. Det var en virkelig dejlig måde at starte dagen på :))

Efter solopgang spiste vi morgenmad, drak kaffe også tog vi ned til Bichenos såkaldte blowhole. Dette er et hul i stenen, hvor der bliver “skudt” vand op, når bølgerne kommer. Det ligner altså lidt en hvals blåsthul. Her så vi også en sød krabbe, der gemte sig under stenene.

Vi tog derefter videre på vores tur langs østkysten, hvor vi kørte op til Bay of Fires. Bredden er kaldt dette, fordi europæerne kunne se røgen fra alle de Aboriginals bål, som altså lyste hele bredden op. Efter de så havde opkaldt området Bay of Fires, fandt de ud af, at hele bredden er fyldt med orange klædte sten. Navnet passer altså meget godt. Her stoppede vi på stranden Cosy Corner, hvor jeg fik mig en morgendukkert. Vandet her er noget at de smukkeste vand, jeg nogensinde har badet i. Det var helt fantastisk. Udover dyppeturen, fik vi set endnu en krabbe, og en flok delfiner der svømmede forbi. Meget dejlig strand :))

Efter stranden kørte vi forbi en østersfarm, hvor vi fik købt friske østers til frokost. Min frokost bestod altså af 6 friskt plukkede østers med citron og en æblesnegl (ligesom kanelsnegl, men med æble) til dessert. Det var 10/10.

Vi tog derefter videre fra østkysten og ind i landet. Vi kørte til Launceston, Tasmaniens anden største by med lige omkring 100.000 indbyggere, hvor vi skulle sove fra mandag til tirsdag. Inden solen gik ned havde vi tid til en gåtur ved Cataract Gorge. Her fik vi set en hel masse pademelon, små wallabies, og et par påfugle. Påfuglene blev introduceret af en indisk rigmand for mange år siden, der synes Cataract Gorge var virkelig flot, men kunne være flottere med nogle påfugle. Han sejlede hjem, hentede en kasse med påfugle, kom tilbage, og satte dem fri. Heldigvis har de ikke spredt sig ud fra det område, så de skaber ingen problemer for naturen på Tasmanien. Her fik jeg for anden gang den dag lov til at få et dyp, denne gang i ferskvand. Det var virkelig koldt, men det blev gjort, og jeg havde det rigtig rart bagefter!

Aftenen sluttede af med en omgang bouldering, da storbyen Launceston har et bouldering gym. Her brugte vores tour guide Tim og jeg ca 2 timer på at klatre, hvorefter vi fik en god omgang maccas (Mac donalds) til aftensmad.
