So here are the things I need to finish:

An assortment of chests. Yes, the monster one lights up!

Wooden furniture made by Terri Priam. I also have an upholstered chair and a lamp that lights up by her.

A saddle rack and crates. The saddle rack I believe is from the now defunct Enterprise Props and the crates- and the chests and everything after this were printed by @studiorat

These very cool tiles that I plan to go ham on with weathering and adding moss and grass and stuff to, and then it’s a date with Link and a plastic horse.

With everything cleaned out of the barn for now, next up are some minor repairs and hanging lights and some festive decorations.

8. Do you collect anything? If so, what?

I'm part Crow it seems: Feathers, Modelhorses/-animals (Breyer and Schleich,CollectA), Carnivorous Dinosaur/Pterosaur Figures, Fowl related stuff and (not actively) mythical creatures.

I also collected figures regarding my fandoms (One Piece, Resident Evil, Alien, Warcraft) but not anymore since I have all of the figures I wanted (or can afford) from those.

9. What sounds or scents calm you down?

For sounds it's a heavy rainstorm with occasional thunder - weird I know but that combination of rain, wind and electricity is just mesmerizing to me.

With scents it's either the herb and kernel bag from my beloved plush chicken or - now it gets weird again - the smell of our quails. Let me explain this one: if you pick them up and burry your nose in their feathers they smell like warmed up hay mixed with herbs and a faint, almost sweet smell that is unique to those little fowls. Combined with their warm bodies and their sweet little chirbs, its the pefect way to get comforted.

15. Do you have any houseplants? Do any of them have names?

Not many (only 4) and those are mostly plants that stubbornly refuse to die. I don't have a green thumb (I managed to kill multiple cacti) so those I have are very hardy. I might be doing great with animals but plants ... not so much.

25. Do you have any piercings or tattoos? Are there any that you want?

I had earrings once but I developed allergic reactions to most of the metals used. I DO think of getting a small tattoo from time to time but I'm a p*ssy when it comes to pain.

35.Describe your favorite stuffed animal, either now or from when you were a kid.

I got quiet a few but my most loved one is a fluffy white rooster with red waddles and caramel colored tailfeathers about the size of a hand that I got from my Mom as a christmas gift years ago. He has a little bag of herbs and kernels in his belly that you can microwave and than put it back inside and use as a heat pad.

2021 was also a year getting more into model horses again as a “professional”, I created three different original sculptures, all of which are being/were cast in resin. I’ve also completed a nice number of commissions and other projects.  But in typical model horse hobby land fashion, a lot of bullshit went flying around and I’m probably going to back out of things as soon as humanly possible. More landscapes n things for 2022!

My lovely mare Urbosa. She is the Jennifer Scott sculpture “Anise” finished by Mindy Berg and photographed by me. I love how this image looks like there’s late afternoon sunlight filtering into the indoor arena. Which has walls made of fancy card stock and scrap wood.

This #ModelHorseMonday we're featuring Fireheart! He's such a big, handsome boy, and I can't wait to see him in a million colors. Though it's hard to go wrong with the nice palomino for his debut. Mine has nice shading and subtle dapples. Other than a bit of overspray on his mane, he's really nice. He's meant to be a mustang, but he looks like he'll work as a number of different crossbreeds, which is exciting for both color and performance options. Fingers crossed that @breyermodelhorsesofficial makes him into a unicorn and/or Christmas horse. It's almost a certainty that mini Fireheart will get the unicorn treatment. My second ever repaint model but I am not too sure what else to do with her. I want to make her a black Sabino but I am not sure if to paint all the four legs white or to paint the other side of the horse as well. Does anyone else have any guidance? Because looking up Sabinos and the thoroughbred I am using for a reference tend to hand all four legs white. I want it to look as realistic as possible so I am a bit at cross roads because I don’t really know anyone else who does model horse painting.
