there’s this model horse performance show next fall within driving distance where the theme is to recreate a movie or tv show scene with a horse but in miniature. i want to enter and do a les mis scene cause of course i do (literally my favorite things ever model horse showing and les mis) here’s my ideas for various les mis adaptation breyer dioramas. if anyone has any more ideas or know of a model or any 1:9 scale dolls that look remotely like any of these people that would be good for these, let me know!

I don't do a ton of fantasy customs any more, but the Breyer Classic Quarter Horse Foal just makes such a great unicorn! Wisp has been made over into an old-style unicorn with the lion type tail and cloven hooves, and I just really think she's a lovely little thing.

I judge the children/youth show at HorseCon and have been asked to do it in cosplay the past couple years. It’s really fun to be a Zelda character when there’s a new game.

Top left is me and a couple friends in the golf cart we had for the weekend. I decorated it with vines and there are some lights you can’t appreciate. Another friend stuck that unicorn horn on it. I joked this was an ultra hand build that included a beam emitter which is why everyone is laughing.

Top right is me dressed as BOTW Link wearing a pair of 8 bit shades taking my friend Malanya to visit the grave of the great Man O War.

Bottom is Malanya in front of the larger than life (and recently restored) statue of Man O War, arms raised to attempt to revive him. This is sort of a sacred space at the horse park, though it seems to get few visitors these days. I hope this big red horse understood that while we were being silly, he was the only one we thought we been worthy of a try.

Presenting, the Ineffable Horsebands!

A few weeks ago I decided that I’d be customising some model horses into everyone’s favourite ineffable duo as part of an annual painting challenge called NaMoPaiMo. It isn’t a competition, it’s just a fun community event, and I’ve been taking part for years. Anyway, the important thing is that I had way too much fun turning Aziraphale and Crowley into horses. (and yes, a crack fic explaining precisely why they’re horses is already in progress 🙈😂) Also, because apparently I’m a glutton for punishment, I spent far too long faffing about with fine wire, pliers and resin to make Crowley a pair of sunglasses. Obviously the legs of the frames wouldn’t actually work in reality but he’s a demon horse, so physics is optional. I didn’t have any patterned ribbon small enough for a teeny tiny bow tie for Aziraphale so I improvised and painted tartan stripes on some scrap fabric. It’s a little bigger than I’d have liked but it’s stupidly cute so it works. 😂 There’s also a couple of nods to their celestial/diabolical forms too if you look closely. 👀

(That said, he would 100% yeet a child if they annoyed him. 😇🐴🪽 …and Crowley, aka Crowleypony, known for Cantering Vaguely Downwards, biting anyone who looks at him wrong and destroying rugs and expensive tack just because he can and it annoys people. 😈🐴🔥 I already have some ideas for other characters too, halp. 🙈 Is this how I’m going to stay sane until S3 comes out?!

I've been looking at the wings on all sorts of animal figures so I can potentially use them on winged horse custom figures. All the wings on Schleich pegasus figures that are bird wings are surprisingly anatomically weird. I think it would look off on a realistic Breyer. Like "That shouldn't fold that way" or "that's not what a flight feather looks like" sort of weird. :/ *says the person who plans on poorly sculpting a fish tail onto a stablemate*

New Custom Breyer Valegro. Finally completed him after more than a year in progress. He was majorly completed in oils, then details were done in pastels, acrylics, and colored pencils. He's not perfect, but I'm super proud of how he turned out.
