summary : The story is about You and Alex(Quackity), former lovers who meet unexpectedly at their school. You both engage in tense but playful banter, confront your unresolved feelings, and realize it's time to move on and grow up.

The school bell chimed, its echoes signaling the end of another day's classes. The classroom, once abuzz with the energy of students, fell into a hushed silence as your advisor's soothing voice broke through, "Good day, class." In perfect unison, your classmates responded with a polite, "Good day, sir." With practiced efficiency, everyone gathered their books, stuffed them into their bags, and made their way out of the classroom, leaving the cleaners to their routine.

You slung your bag over your shoulder and quickly caught up with your best friend, who was practically vibrating with excitement. She didn't wait for you to reach her but eventually noticed you lagging behind and slowed down to walk beside you. Suddenly, her eyes widened, as if a lightbulb had switched on in her mind.

"Te! Kilala mo ba 'yung lalaking naka-beanie?" Do you know the guy with a beanie? she asked, her voice tinged with curiosity.

"Sino?" Who? you replied, furrowing your brow as you tried to conjure an image of the person she was describing.

"Mahaba ang buhok, nakatago sa beanie, brown ang suot, cute!" Long hair hidden under a beanie, brown outfit, cute! You both came to a halt and found an empty bench outside a building, deciding to sit down for a moment. "I still don't know who you're talking about, pero, mukhang campus crush mo, ah! Uyy, si Thea may crush na!" I still don't know who you're talking about, but is he your new campus crush? Uy! You already have a crush! You playfully teased her, a mischievous grin forming on your lips.

"Gaga, 'di ah, loyal lang ako kay... alam mo na. Para tayong elementary, what is this behavior!?!" No, I'm loyal to... you know who. We're acting like elementary students, what is this behavior?!? She playfully nudged your shoulder.

"Well, sino ba 'yung beanie guy na sinasabi mo?" Well, who are you even talking about? "

"Moreno siya... OH! Alam ko na! May na-describe kang guy na parang siya, sabi mo dati na high school sweetheart mo dati, anyare ba?" He's Moreno... OH! I know! You described someone like him before, you said that he was your high school sweetheart back then, what happened? She finally recalled, her face lighting up with recognition.

"Sino kasi... A- Alan, Alias, Aldrin... Axel, OH! Alex! Siya nga yung nakita namin!" What's his name again... A- Alan, Alias, Aldrin, Axel ... OH! Alex! Him! She glanced around, trying to jog her memory, until her gaze landed on an Axe body spray advertisement, prompting her to excitedly exclaim the name.

"ALEX?!?!? IMPOSIBLE! Matagal na silang lumipat sa America!" That's impossible! They moved to America so long ago! Your eyes widened with sudden realization.

"Girl, Airplanes exist, Cars exist, Transportation exists," she countered, a hint of amusement in her voice.

"I know, but, why is he here, anong ginagawa niya dito?! and saan mo siya nakita?" I know, but why is he here? What is he doing here?! Where did you even see him?

"Habang naglalakad kami kanina ni Lia sa halls papuntang room, nakita namin siya kinakausap yung guard natin, parang may hinahanap or hinihintay." While Lia and I were heading to class, we saw him talking to the guard but he was finding or waiting for something.

"What if hinahanap ka niya... Uyyy!" What if he's looking for you... Uyyy! Your best friend added with a knowing look, raising her eyebrows playfully.

"Ewan ko sayo. Baka magalit na roommate ko dahil late ako makakauwi!" I don't know what you're talking about. My roommate might be upset that I'm coming home late! With that, you grabbed your bag and hastily made your way towards the exit.

"Huy! Y/N HINTAYIN MOKO! TRAFFIC PA MO!!" Huy! Y/N WAIT FOR ME! IT'S STILL TRAFFIC! You heard Thea yell, her voice trailing behind you.

In your hurry, you failed to notice what was directly in your path, and you accidentally collided with someone. "AY!" you screeched as you stumbled and tumbled over the person.

You heard the person beneath you groan in response, and as you slowly opened your eyes, you felt as if fate had thrown you an unexpected curveball.

"Alex." "Y/N." You both said each other's names simultaneously, the shock evident in your voices.

"Anong ginagawa mo dito?!" you asked in disbelief, your mind racing with a whirlwind of questions.

"Ikaw! What are you doing here?!" He inquired, his expression mirroring your surprise.

"Dito ako nag-aaral, ano ka ba!" I go here! Your voice quivered with astonishment.

"Helloo! I came here to pick up my girlfriend!" He replied dragging out the o, a wry smile tugging at the corners of his lips.

"Oh! May girlfriend ka na pala! Ang sakit naman! Ouch! Parang tinamaan ako ng bulkang Mayon!" Oh! You have a girlfriend now! How hurtful! Ouch! I feel like the Mayon volcano dropped on me! You couldn't help but be sarcastic, even in this unexpected situation.

"Can you please get off me?" He tried to be polite, but your stubbornness got the better of you, and you didn't budge.

"Oh! Ow! I should get a chiropractor and a therapist after FALLING FOR YOU! Gosh! How embarrassing!" Your banter continued, seemingly unstoppable.

As the two of you playfully argued, you both failed to notice that your best friend and his girlfriend were trying to intervene, and a stern-looking guard was approaching. It wasn't until the guard shouted at both of you that you finally ceased your banter.

"HOY! KAYONG DALAWA DIYAN! TAYO! PARA KAYONG MGA BATA! NAGAAWAY SA LAPAG! MAS MATURED PA MGA 2 YEARS OLD KESA SA INYO!" THE TWO OF YOU! GET UP! YOU ARE LIKE CHILDREN! ARGUING ON CONCRETE! TWO-YEAR OLDS ARE MORE MATURED THAN BOTH OF YOU! The guard scolded both of you, his stern voice echoing in the corridor. You and Alex finally came to your senses, stood up, and dusted yourselves off, all the while feeling slightly embarrassed.

"Sundan niyo 'ko, maguusap kayong dalawa!" Follow me! Both of your are going to talk and make up! The guard's no-nonsense tone left no room for argument.

The four of you obediently followed the guard, but your best friend and Alex's girlfriend were soon asked to stay back. It seemed this conversation was meant to be private.

As you and Alex settled into chairs on opposite sides of a table, the room felt more like a police interrogation room than a place for a casual chat.

"Mag-uusap kayo! Nasa labas akong manonood, kung 'di kayo mag-uusap, tignan nalang natin kung makukuha mo pa degree niyo," I'm only outside, if you are not going to make up, let's see if both of you will get your degree. the guard declared before leaving the room.

Alex, still looking bewildered, turned his attention to you, his eyes searching for answers.

"You understand Tagalog, right?" you asked, breaking the silence between you.

"Yeah, pero, I'm not used to speaking Tagalog anymore, I forget most words now." he responded, his tone slightly uncertain.

It seemed like the two of you were finally finding common ground and making an effort to bridge the gap that had formed between you.

"Wow! Ang galing mo naman! You just moved countries then suddenly you can't talk Tagalog and talk to me through chats!" Wow! You're so cool! Oh well! I said that too soon.

"Oh come on! Y/N, haven't we gotten over this?!" He massaged his temples, as if trying to ward off an impending headache.

"Y/N. This is why we never really worked out. We constantly fought and couldn't stand each other, and then we broke up! Why are you still challenging me into a fight?" His words carried a note of exasperation and perhaps a hint of frustration.

A heavy silence fell between you, and you found yourself avoiding eye contact with him, feeling a bead of sweat forming on your forehead.

"Y/N? Don't tell me you haven't moved on from me... Y/N, it's been years. I moved on, and you should too. It's not healthy to love someone who already loves someone else." His voice softened as he offered his candid advice.

You felt speechless as you started realizing how immature and stubborn you had been. "I- i- ..."

"It's okay," he reassured you, his expression sympathetic.

"I was very happy having you in my life, but as I grew up with you, I felt suffocated. I couldn't breathe around you, I couldn't speak to you properly without us fighting over small things." He confessed, his words carrying the weight of years of pent-up emotions.

Alex felt a sense of relief, finally unburdening himself by sharing the words he had longed to say.

Perhaps the words 'we never worked out' hit you harder than anything you had said earlier. In that moment, a profound realization washed over you. You had been in denial, unwilling to admit the lingering feelings you held for Alex and the unique dynamic you shared. Your interactions, filled with playful banter and heated arguments, were something you had unconsciously missed. You had inadvertently found yourself in another clash with him, but this time, you were asking for the fight. It became clear that beneath the surface, you longed for the passionate and intense connection you once had, even if you hadn't been fully aware of it until now. This moment marked a crucial turning point in your journey of self-discovery and the challenging path of letting go.

But, as Alex wisely pointed out, it was time to move on and grow up.

"I still love you, even if you no longer do. I know I have to move on, even if it's been difficult for me. I was starting to forget you when suddenly, you were mentioned, and the memories I had kept of you and me in a bottle, buried deep, resurfaced just like a hidden treasure."

"Did you know that my mom used to tell stories about us when we were younger, and how she wished we'd grow old together in the future, maybe in another universe..."

As you both nodded in agreement and locked eyes, the weight of past grievances began to lift, and you felt the catharsis of finally letting go.

Sonic Cyber Revolution, Entry 35: Speeding Through Stardust

''One foot after the other, we will find our way through. One day after another, come on and let it rip!''

''Hmmm…'' Amy hummed absent-mindendly as she and Minami were walking through Sentoraru, both of them searching for an Anime-themed or Mascot-themed café. She had actually asked Sonic whether he'd like to join them, but he explained that he had plans of his own with Lucas. ''Which one do you plan on visiting? You said there are several of them.''

''Well, I wanted to see the Moko Moko-chan Café, which is based all around a cute mascot lizard,'' Minami told her. Amy placed her finger on her cheek, tilting her head as she thought about it.

''Do video game characters get their own cafés? Because I would like to see a Sonic the Hedgehog Café,'' Amy told her, smiling dreamily as she cupped her cheeks with her hands. ''Imagine having a drink or a dessert based on my character.''

''I imagine you might get a strawberry shortcake-based sweet,'' Minami responded. ''Maybe some cute cookies as well.''

''That would be great,'' Amy responded, only to suddenly stop, feeling the wind picking up. She looked around, surprised to see her surroundings flicker and change into an unfamiliar area. Minami gasped as she and Amy took a good look at their new surroundings, finding themselves on a golden highway adorned with instruments and Time Warp signs. There were even more highways around them, some connecting to the modern cityscape below them, its lights illuminating the light sky. Some of the buildings were under construction, dotted with various factories, as well as an Eggman-themed statue in the distance.

''Woah, where are we?'' Amy asked in awe. Her ears twitched as she heard Minami hum in thought, glancing at her partner, only to notice her with her arms crossed as she tried to figure things out. She then opened her eyes, snapping her fingers.

''Of course, this is Stardust Speedway!'' she said excitedly. ''It's a Zone in Sonic the Hedgehog CD, or just Sonic CD, and it is set on Little Planet.''

''Unfortunately, this doesn't ring a bell,'' Amy responded in a deadpan tone.

''It's one of the older video games. As a matter of fact, it is where your character makes a debut,'' Minami explained.

''Really? That's interesting,'' Amy replied, being quite intrigued. Minami nodded, only to narrow her eyes.

''That makes me wonder, though… How did we end up in a location from a video game?'' she asked.

''I suppose we just got trapped inside an AR Field and now we need to find an exit,'' Amy replied, only to narrow her eyes, her expression now matching Minami's. ''Although, why would we end up in an AR Field? Someone had to put us here intentionally.''

''Exactly, so it was probably either Dr. Eggman or Dr. Starline… or both,'' Minami replied. Amy gazed at the Eggman-themed statue in the distance. It looked different from the Eggman she knew, as this statue of Eggman had a longer moustache, no goggles or his signature red jacket.

''Something tells me that Dr. Eggman is totally in on it,'' she said. ''So, what do we do? Any ideas?''

''Well, this is a video game location, so playing through it would make sense. Although, that involved you getting kidnapped by Dr. Eggman, or rather, his Classic self, forcing Sonic to fix the future and turn this place into an amusement park and then battle Metal Sonic,'' Minami explained. ''However, I don't see any of that happening.''

''We are still stuck in this Zone, so one could say that Eggman did complete the 'kidnapping' part of the video game's plotline,'' Amy said, her comment causing Minami to smile in amusement.

''We could just go explore it. If we run into anything hostile, like Badniks, we'll smash it into pieces,'' she suggested. Amy held up her hand, with digital particles appearing before her, turning into her hammer. She then placed it over her shoulder, placing her other hand on her hip.

''Then, let's go!'' she said.

''Thanks once again for your help,'' Tails told Shadow, who just nodded in acknowledgement.

''I hope that you'll be able to put the data to good use,'' Shadow responded, resuming walking, him and Tails being accompanied by Warren and Touka. Tails wanted to call Sonic and Lucas about what he and Warren learned, but for some reason, they couldn't reach them. They managed to track down the signal of their AR Visor to their last location and decided to investigate, with Shadow and Touka volunteering to go along, as they had their own suspicions in regards to what was going on. Of course, it was always possible that it was something completely harmless, like Sonic and Lucas being too busy to call them back, but their gut feeling told them to check the situation regardless.

Unfortunately for them, they were right about that.

Tails walked a bit ahead, his gaze focused on the information displayed on the Miles Electric, and he didn't even notice his surroundings suddenly changing, at least until Warren gasped in surprise.

''Warren, what is- Oh, no…'' Tails jaw dropped as he and Warren found themselves in an unfamiliar area, with Shadow and Touka nowhere to be seen. The area itself appeared to be in outer space, as it showed them a view of Earth, and was covered by an orange-brownish wall. The platforms were light gray, decorated with some patterns and warning signs.

''I can't believe it! We're in the Death Egg Zone!'' Warren ran over to the edge of the platforms, staring at the Earth below him. How he and Tails were still breathing or even unharmed being in outer space was beyond him, but he was even more baffled by the fact that they were inside a video game location. ''Well, at least I think this is the Death Egg Zone. It certainly looks like it.''

''The Death Egg Zone?'' Tails gave Warren a confused look.

''Ah, yeah, you wouldn't know much about it,'' Warren replied, turning to his partner. ''Basically, the Death Egg Zone is a video game location from Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and it appears at the very end of the game.''

''I see…'' Tails muttered, looking down at his Miles Electric. ''There is no signal either, so we cannot call any of our friends.''

''It looks to me like Dr. Eggman and Dr. Starline had managed to get ahead of us,'' Warren said. ''However, given how we vanished so suddenly, perhaps Touka and Shadow will find a way to get out of this place with Chaos Control.''

''I hope you're right,'' Tails replied worriedly.

In one moment Silver and Makoto were talking to Knuckles and Lily. In the next, they found themselves falling through the clouds, with Silver saving both of them thanks through his psychokinesis.

''Thanks, Silver!'' Makoto breathed a sigh of relief, despite the fact that he and Silver were now floating high in the sky, with everything below them being bouncing platforms and narrow pathways surrounded by mountains and clouds, as well as swirling fans, for some reason. If they fell between platforms, there was nothing to save them from the bottomless pit.

''That was so close,'' Silver said. ''Where are we, and where are Knuckles and Lily?''

''Honestly, I have no clue about their whereabouts, but this place feels kind of familiar,'' Makoto responded. ''Could you get us down on one of those platforms?''

''No problem!'' Silver replied, gently placing them down, while also eyeing a nearby row of spikes with a suspicious look. ''What's going on here? We've been at Eden just a moment ago?''

''I assume that we're inside an AR Field,'' Makoto replied, trying to remember why this place looked familiar to him. ''Is it Windy Valley? No, that's not right. It has to be something else.''

''What are you talking about?'' Silver asked.

''This place looks to me like a location from a Sonic the Hedgehog video game, but I can't recall which one it is,'' Makoto explained. He walked up to the edge of the platform, noting the swirling fans below and squinting his eyes. ''Wait a sec, is this place Sky Canyon?''

''Sky Canyon?'' Silver gave him a confused look.

''Sky Canyon is a location in Sonic Advance 2. Basically, in the game, Dr. Eggman has kidnapped Knuckles and Tails and Sonic goes to find them, while also meeting another character called Cream the Rabbit and her Chao friend Cheese, who are on the search for Cream's mother Vanilla,'' Makoto explained. ''I wonder why we'd end up here.''

''I bet this is all Eggman and Starline's fault. We already know what Eggman is capable of, and Starline had also managed to trap Sonic, Tails and Knuckles in an AR Field,'' Silver said, clenching his fists.

''I hate to say it, but you're probably right, Silver,'' Makoto replied. ''The most we can do now is to find a way out of this place.''

Both Shadow and Touka were on high alert when their surroundings had suddenly changed and Tails and Warren vanished. Instead of being in the city, they found themselves in an ice-themed area with northern lights appearing above the mountains. They could also see platforms around them lined up with crystals and gems. Unknown to either of them, they had actually found themselves in Twinkle Snow, a Zone from Sonic Advance 3.

''Where are we?'' Shadow asked, taking a look at the area. Next to him, Touka hugged herself, shivering.

''I-I have no clue, but it's really c-cold here,'' she said, lamenting the fact that she didn't have any leggings to wear under her shorts. She then shook her head, trying to ignore the coldness. ''Wait, where are Warren and Tails? They were with us just a moment ago.''

''I guess we got ourselves trapped inside an AR Field, the same kind Sonic, Tails and Knuckles found themselves in,'' Shadow said, assessing the situation. ''Tails and Warren probably ended up in a different AR Field.''

''Great,'' Touka sighed, arms folded across her chest. ''I hope they at least ended up somewhere warmer. In any case, we need to get out of this snow area. I'm sure that this is Dr. Eggman and Dr. Starline's doing.''

''Don't worry, I'll get us out of here,'' Shadow told her, snapping with his fingers. ''Chaos Control!''

However, nothing happened. There was no flash of light blue light, nor did they find themselves outside the AR Field. Shadow was stunned in regards to the fact that Chaos Control had somehow failed, but he quickly snapped out of it, realizing that something was interfering with his power. He growled in annoyance, with Touka giving him a knowing look.

''I suppose that the two Doctors had also figured out how to block your Chaos Control, we'll have to find a different way out of here,'' she said.

''Hmph.'' Shadow, admittedly, was still irked by having his powers blocked. ''I don't really see an exit, unless you want me to create one by force.''

''I don't think that would be a smart idea,'' Touka replied. ''We are still inside an AR Field, and overloading it might cause it to collapse and then we would be trapped in it for good.''

''Then the only thing that we can do is to explore this snow area,'' Shadow replied, with Touka nodding in agreement.

''Yeah, and maybe I'll get a bit warmer if I keep moving,'' she said, shivering. ''Seriously, couldn't the Doctors sent us to some tropical area?''

Shadow just shrugged in response, a bit amused that Touka's main issue was that it was cold and not that they were trapped. Fortunately for him, he didn't have to share her plight.

''I won!'' Sonic exclaimed as he ran past a signpost that had his face on it, causing it to spin uncontrollably. He turned around, with Lucas arriving just a few moments later. ''Okay, so if this is the end of the Zone, shouldn't there be some kind of exit or maybe a sign to let us know we're entering the next Zone?''

''I don't know,'' Lucas admitted, shrugging. ''I have no clue whether this Zone is supposed to be completely game accurate.''

''Well, it had a bunch of obstacles and Badniks for me to smash through,'' Sonic replied, pointing with his thumb at the path they came from. Lucas looked up, noting the Flickies Sonic saved by smashing into the Badniks flying past them.

''Yeah, but still… This is Eggman we're talking about-'' Before Lucas could finish his sentence, their surroundings flickered and the signpost vanished. When everything returned to normal, the two made a rather unnerving discovery. ''W-Wait… Are we back at the beginning of the Zone?!''

''Oh, com'n! I like running as much as the next guy, but going back to the start?'' Sonic complained, being now just as frustrated as his partner. He put his hands on his hips, looking around impatiently. ''Egghead! I know you can hear me! I know that this is one of your schemes, and I will find you and beat you up! However, if your plan is to just trap me, then at least you could've added some variety! Or maybe an enemy or two, since I already smashed all of your robots during my first run! I'm sure you're more creative than this!''

''Nice to know that you got your priorities straight,'' Lucas said in a deadpan tone, with Sonic just flashing him a grin.

''If I knew that Sonic would treat this all like a video game, I would've added something to make him truly miserable,'' Dr. Eggman grumbled, watching the monitor before him.

''But, this is technically a video game,'' Cubot pointed out.

''Actually, it is just an AR Field simulation of the Green Hill Zone from Sonic the Hedgehog, but anyone could make the mistake of mixing those two up,'' Orbot explained.

''Com'n, Egghead! I'm bored! Give me a real challenge!'' Sonic shouted.

Eggman rolled his eyes, muttering, ''Oh, I'll give you a challenge, Hedgehog…''

''I suppose that means that Metal Sonic and I will be going after Lucas and Sonic,'' Ferra said, with Eggman glancing at her and Metal Sonic. The robotic hedgehog had a bloodthirsty gaze on his expression.

''No, you won't,'' Eggman told the two resolutely, with Ferra looking surprised and Metal Sonic genuinely offended. ''Instead, you will be going after one of the Hedgehog's friends.''

''Sir, if I may interrupt…'' Dr. Starline, who was listening to the whole conversation, spoke up, ''Why wouldn't you send Metal Sonic after Sonic? From what I've gathered, you have Sonic caged in an inescapable AR Field, and Metal Sonic appears to be a capable fighter – and, don't take it as me complimenting you; I'm merely stating the obvious,'' he added, casting a side-eye towards the two, much to Ferra and Metal Sonic's annoyance. He then turned back to Eggman. ''He is trapped like a rat. It would be wise to unleash the cat and finish him off once and for all.''

''Ah, yes, but you see, a cornered rat will fight back, especially this blue one. Sonic, and even his friends, have demonstrated that engaging them in a direct battle is not wise, since they're more than capable of fighting back. Not to mention, their human partners, what they lack in pure power, even with Chaos Surge, they surely make up with their way of thinking.'' Eggman leaned back in his chair, clasping his hands and twiddling with his thumbs. ''During my first attack, I made sure to prepare for every possible outcome. The Buddy Bots kept the authorities occupied and the public in fear. I also made sure that the Death Egg Robot would withstand any of the attacks Sonic and his friends launched at it, including Chaos Powers. However, what I did not account for was how much the human partners would have an influence in the battle, even if they were drained of energy because of the Chaos Surge. They picked my plan apart like the little ants they are, but now I know better.'' He flashed them a malicious grin. ''This time, they cannot do anything to save themselves. There is no way for them to escape the AR Fields, let alone power them down since they are maintained by Neos City, and the authorities have no clue that I'm in control here.'' He then waved at the monitor. ''As for the Badniks, they're just data, and as Orbot and Cubot put it-'' The two robots gave each other a confused look. ''It is just like a video game, so I can respawn the Badniks endlessly. I have separated Team Neos with no way of communication between them and they are trapped in an endless loop, being locked in the chosen Zone. There is absolutely nothing they can do.''

''So, what do you plan to do with them then, Sir?'' Starline asked.

''Oh, now that's the fun part, isn't it? Since I have them exactly where I want them, I can play a game with them, a survival game, if you want to call it,'' Eggman responded, pressing another button and revealing two distinct robots that looked a lot like Sonic on screen – one of them being small, but bulky and silver, while the other was taller and blue, with a red screen where they eyes should be. ''These are Mecha Sonic and Mecha Sonic Mark II. I will be sending them in soon to battle in the Death Egg Zone and Sky Sanctuary Zone respectively.''

''Ah, I see,'' Ferra quickly caught on, well aware that these two were Bosses from their respective Sonic the Hedgehog video games. ''That would cover Warren, Tails, Lily and Knuckles… So, does this mean we'll be going to Stardust Speedway to deal with Minami and Amy?''

''Precisely,'' Eggman responded, pleased with how fast Ferra understood her assignment. Metal Sonic, on the other hand, looked quite sour that he wasn't going to fight Sonic at all. Admittedly, he didn't care that those two new robots would be fighting Sonic's friends, as long as they didn't fight Sonic. If the latter case were true, then he might as well… interfere.

''That covers three out of three…'' Starline observed, raising an eyebrow. ''May I know your plans for Silver and Shadow? These two struck me as the more powerful ones of the team.''

''I had assumed that you would finally want a challenge of your own, Dr. Starline,'' Eggman said, grinning knowingly at the platypus.

''M-Me?'' Starline was starstruck when he realized the implications. ''S-Sir, I don't know what to say-''

''Well, you can choose to participate in eradicating two powerful hedgehogs and prove your worth, or just sit back while I do all of the work,'' Eggman told him off-handedly. To his amusement, Starline quickly protested.

''N-No! I never said I wouldn't accept your offer, Sir! As a matter of fact, I am honored that you consider me for this task,'' Starline bowed with a flourish. ''I will go and immediately prepare everything for the assault. I already have several contingency plans on mind, if you wish to hear them…''

''No, no, I'd rather see those contingency plans in action,'' Eggman said, clearly not in the mood to listen to Starline's rambling. ''You may go now.''

''As you wish, Sir,'' Starline responded, strutting proudly out of the room. However, just before the door closed, they could hear loud squealing coming from the hallway, resembling that of a screeching fangirl who just shook her hand with her idol. Ferra and Metal Sonic rolled their eyes in unison, with Ferra then asking Eggman.

''How long do you plan to keep him around?'' she asked.

''As long as necessary,'' Eggman responded.

''You mean, as long as he's useful to you,'' Ferra replied in a deadpan tone. Despite being hidden behind glasses, it seemed as if Eggman's eyes glinted and he gave Ferra an amused grin.

''Dr. Starline is an interesting fellow, and he certainly has useful skills, not to mention being completely devoted to me. However, even I can see a sense of arrogance from a mile away, and the platypus might become a headache in the future, but for now, I will keep him here,'' he explained.

''I'm surprised you have nothing to say about me and Metal Sonic,'' Ferra continued, with Eggman raising an eyebrow, clearly a bit surprised by her question. ''Toshiro and Mephiles betrayed you, and what I know about Starline is that he isn't exactly trustworthy – or sane, for that matter – either. So, what's your plan with us?''

Metal Sonic stared at Ferra, then gazed at the Doctor, who seemed to be quite intrigued by the question. ''Ho-ho, I thought you knew it already. After all, it was all in the contract…''

''It's all part of the game, isn't it?'' Ferra sighed.

''Precisely, but more in a 'You scratch my back so I won't disintegrate yours','' Eggman responded. Ferra could only roll her eyes. ''Make no mistake, so far, you two have proven to be the most useful. The alliance with Toshiro and Mephisto was always going to be temporary, and Starline is another matter I can deal with in time. It certainly would be a shame to see you leave, especially since we have the same goal.''

''The only thing I care about is what Metal Sonic wants, and that's to destroy Sonic,'' Ferra responded, with Metal Sonic nodding sharply. Eggman got up from his seat.

''As I said, we have the same goal,… plus or minus some world conquering,'' he quickly added the last part in a casual tone.

''Right, except you won't even let us deal with Lucas and Sonic,'' Ferra said, her and Metal Sonic folding their arms across their chest and shooting a glare at the Doctor.

''In time, in time…'' Eggman huffed. ''In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the Hedgehog manages to worm his way out of this trap as well.''

That statement came to both Ferra and Metal Sonic as a surprise. ''What? But, you just said…''

''That I finally have Sonic cornered, yes. Except, knowing that Hedgehog, he will find a way to destroy my plans, again,'' Eggman said, pointing at the monitor behind him, with Sonic still yelling for the Doctor to give him some kind of entertainment. ''As a matter of fact, in a different life, that Hedgehog won't stop at anything to ruin everything I come up with.''

''A different life… you mean the video games?'' Ferra asked, a bit stunned.

''The Death Egg, Chaos, The ARK, Iblis, Dark Gaia, The Time Eater, the Wisps, the Zeti… Hell, even Infinite and that damned Phantom Ruby… not to mention, the Metal Virus… I have reviewed all possible plans, and I cannot exactly use them if the other side is just as well informed as I am,'' Eggman responded, only to smirk. ''Nevertheless, it has given me a couple of ideas. If you believe that I'm confident that there won't be any future confrontations, then you're quite foolish.''

''No offense, but I hope that you won't unleash any Metal Virus on Neos City,'' Ferra said, feeling a bit nervous. If Eggman had indeed prepared a Metal Virus project, she knew that it would be a disaster.

''Don't worry, I crossed that one off my list. The last thing I need is an army of unruly Zombots that would infect me as well,'' Eggman told her, then grumbled under his breath. ''Not to mention, I don't have any safe planet to escape to.'' He heard Ferra sighing in relief, and continued, ''If I'm going for something bigger, it would probably be Eggperial City, but that would be a problem if the authorities of Neos City notice anything.''

Ferra and Metal Sonic exchanged glances, having to agree that this would be a dumb move, at least for now. They both then glanced at the Doctor. ''So, what do you have planned?''

''Oh, I had been working on a certain, well, I suppose I could call this little project a program, but it would certainly give me a peace of mind when it comes to having someone I can trust with my plans, someone loyal,'' Eggman explained. ''I'll leave this project as a surprise.''

''I don't…'' Ferra trailed off, when it suddenly hit her what Eggman was talking about. ''Wait, you mean… her?''

''Ah, you're quite sharp. I'm glad that I hired you,'' Eggman told her. Surprisingly, Ferra flashed him an approving smile.

''Actually, it's a project I'd love to see the come to fruition,'' she told him. ''It would be nice to have someone here who actually has some sense.''

''Hmph, how about you run along?'' Eggman told her, with Ferra nodding and her and Metal Sonic were about to leave when Eggman called out to them again. ''Oh, and keep an eye on Starline.''

''Sure thing,'' Ferra responded as she and Metal Sonic walked out. She placed her arms behind her head, only to realize that there was something else she wanted to ask Eggman. She turned on her heel, but the door behind her was already shut. She stared at it for a moment, then shrugged, deciding to leave it for another time.

'There is something else on your mind,' Metal Sonic observed.

''Yeah, the fact that Dr. Eggman has no issues with me talking to him like that,'' Ferra replied.

'Do you plan on intentionally pissing him off?' Metal Sonic asked.

''Well, I would like to see how much it takes for him to finally explode, but I guess that, whatever I ask him, seems to be amusing to him,'' Ferra replied. ''It feels a bit strange for him to actually patiently answer all of my questions.''

The two then noticed a shape walking through the hallway, realizing that it was Starline. Exchanging a glance and a nod, they quickly followed the platypus into one of the rooms at the HQ. The room itself was actually something of a collector's room, with desks and shelves adorned with all kinds of figurines. Starline walked over over to one shelf stacked with mechs, observing each of them thoughtfully.

''Hey, Starline, what are you doing here?''

The platypus was startled when he heard a familiar voice calling out for him, almost jumping out of his skin, only to turn around and see Ferra and Metal Sonic walk inside. ''Have you ever heard of KNOCKING?!''

''Hey, you're the one sneaking around,'' Ferra pointed out.

''May I remind you that Dr. Eggman entrusted me with access to the whole HQ?'' Starline told her.

'No, he didn't,' Metal Sonic pointed out, causing Ferra to smirk. Starline, however, had no clue what the beeps meant, and just frowned.

''So, why are you here? I thought you were preparing for your mission,'' Ferra asked.

''This is part of my preparation,'' Starline told her, rolling his eyes. ''I'm trying to decide on which mech I shall pick for the upcoming battle. I'm certain that Dr. Eggman would be pleased to see how expertly I can maneuver one of his creations. Of course, I might also add some of my own ideas to them… After all, the mechs would just be easily manipulated data.''

''Honestly, I don't think that just throwing a mech at either Silver or Shadow would work,'' Ferra said.

''What do you even know about using a mech? From what I've seen, you usually fight directly,'' Starline responded, sneering at her. Metal Sonic just shot him a glare. If Ferra told him so, he would've already pinned the platypus against the wall.

''The Doctor already fought them with a mech and lost. What makes you think that you will succeed?'' Ferra asked. Starline huffed.

''I know I will suceed, and I'm looking forward to the Doctor praising my efforts,'' Starline told her. ''Something that surely cannot be expected from you. From what I've seen, you have lost most of your battles, or ran away like a coward.''

Before either Starline or even Ferra could register it, Metal Sonic vanished in a flash and grabbed Starline by his collar, slamming him against the wall, his red eyes flaring.

'I DARE you to repeat that!'

Even though Starline couldn't understand the robot, he did understand the murderous intent behind Metal Sonic's gaze, flailing around helplessly. ''Agh, don't stand there! Tell your robot impostor to let me go!''

''I don't know, you kinda deserved that for calling Metal a coward,'' Ferra told him placidly. Metal Sonic turned to her.

'He called you a coward. I wanted to make him pay for that,' he explained. Ferra snorted, feeling a sudden surge of warmth.

''Awww, that's so kind of you, but don't worry, I don't care about that. You can let him go,'' she said. Metal Sonic turned to Starline, shooting him a glare, before unceremoniously dropping him. Starline hit the ground with a thud, rubbing his chest as he could feel the scratches where Metal Sonic's claws dug into his flesh.

''I still can't believe that the Doctor decided to hire someone unhinged like you,'' Starline grumbled, glaring at Metal Sonic. Metal Sonic, in turn, looked like he was about to strangle the platypus hadn't Ferra intervened.

''Keep talking, and you'll have enough rope to hang yourself with,'' she told him, extending her hand. Starline stared at it for a moment, reluctantly accepting it as she helped him to get up. ''Listen, I may not like you, and you don't like me nor Metal, but I'm not here to stand in your way. Metal Sonic and I only want to fight Sonic and Lucas, and we would've done it whether we were affiliated with Dr. Eggman or not.''

''Your point being?'' Starline asked.

''I want to call a truce,'' Ferra replied. ''We will keep out of each other's ways and go on with our mission as planned. However, take note that neither me nor Metal Sonic are your subordinates, but colleagues, and you will address us as such. Or else I might let Metal Sonic use you as a stress reliever.''

''…Fine,'' Starline grumbled, still glaring at both.

Satisfied, Ferra and Metal Sonic walked out, with Ferra adding at the door. ''Also, tone it down with the arrogance, Doctor. You aren't infallible, and your ego will be the end of you if you continue like this.''

''Tch, who does she think she is?'' Starline grumbled, placing his hands on his hips and frowning. However, before he could continue, something caught his attention. He turned to the nearby shelf and, to his surprise, found a figurine of himself. He grabbed it to get a closer look. ''When did the Doctor even have the time…''

He trailed off when he saw that the figurine of himself looked rather strange, with red eyes and a more… metallic body. It was as if Dr. Eggman made a figurine replica of a robotic Starline. The real Starline stared nervously at his robotic replica, unsure what to really think of it. He did admire the craftmanship, but something about him left him with a pit in his stomach.

Does the Doctor-? Starline suddenly shook his head, placing the figurine back where he found it and quickly walked out of the room. After all, he had a mission to focus on.

''Man, this place feels endless,'' Minami complained as she and Amy walked through Stardust Speedway. Amy then ran up to a nearby Badnik, whacking it with her Piko Piko Hammer.

''Well, at least we get something to do,'' Amy told her.

''True, but I feel like Eggman is better than this. At least he could've given us a bigger challenge,'' Minami said.

''If you're so bored fighting Badniks, then I guess we might leave as well.''

To Minami and Amy's shock, they spotted Ferra and Metal Sonic standing on top of one of the structures, with Ferra having her arms crossed on her chest, smirking at the two. Amy lowered her eye-lids, looking at Minami.

''You and your big mouth,'' she said in a deadpan tone. Minami just smiled sheepishly.

''Hey, at least we might get some answers from these two,'' she said, only for the full implications to hit her and she turned back to them. ''Wait a second, how did you two get here?! Where the hell is the exit?!''

''Nice that you got your priorities right,'' Ferra replied in amusement, leaping from the structure and landing before them, with Metal Sonic following her. It appeared that this AR Field didn't exactly obey the laws of physics, Minami noted, as Ferra should've broken her legs from that jump. ''Besides, it's not as if we're going to tell you anything.''

''You don't have to, since we already got everything figured out,'' Minami responded, much to Ferra's surprise. ''I bet the rest of Team Neos also got trapped like Amy and I did.''

''How did you-?!'' Ferra was genuinely shocked by that reveal.

''Oh, please, having the villain split up the team and face a challenge individually is such a cliché thing to do,'' Minami replied, then arched her eyebrow. ''The only thing I don't understand is why Amy and I got you two. I thought you'd be fighting Lucas and Sonic.''

''The Doctor has other plans with these two,'' Ferra replied.

''Would you tell us what those plans are?'' Amy asked, tightening her grip around her Piko Piko Hammer as she glared at Ferra and Metal Sonic.

''As if-'' Ferra was about to respond, when Minami suddenly gasped.

''Ah, of course! This is Stardust Speedway, after all, and Metal Sonic was the Boss of this Zone. So, is your plan to kidnap us and lure Lucas and Sonic into a trap?'' she asked.

''Not everything is game accurate!'' Ferra snapped angrily. ''Besides, you are already trapped, you idiot!''

''Awww, so there is no Metallic Madness after this Zone? What a pity,'' Minami replied, pouting. Next to her, Amy sighed, noting that Minami couldn't care less about the peril they were in. Of course, she may have also been baiting Ferra and Metal Sonic into attacking them.

''How about we defeat them and then ask questions?'' Amy suggested. Minami nodded in response, extending her hand.

''Chaos Surge!''

In a flash of pink light, Minami was revealed to be carrying her own hammer, while Amy's Piko Piko Hammer was empowered by her BioEnergy. Ferra snorted in response to this display of power.

''They already made a mistake,'' she muttered, loud enough for Metal Sonic to hear her. ''Let's make sure it is their last.''

“Rey!” you shouted “Choi!!” your boyfriend Rey shouted back, you ran and hugged him “I miss you!!” he kissed your cheek “I mean, who wouldn't miss me?” he teased. Your boyfriend Rey was the smart and the campus crush boy in your campus, every girl had a crush on him besides from his good looking face, he had a personality that is very rare and that is his caring for you. Every time you told him that someone hurts your feelings he would not hesitate to get contact with that person to tell them on what they did to you. “Love naman ehh” you pouted “I’m just kidding naman Choi! I missed you more!!” he shouted hugging you tightly. Everyday he would send you pictures of him even if he was insecure and he did that just for you to be happy, he would be that type of person to do anything just to make you happy. TIME SKIP. It was your monthsary and when you woke up he already greeted you with his picture. You enjoyed being with him until it became the month of December, you guys kept fighting about the smallest things. FFXIVWrite 2022 - Day 1 - Cross

Characters: Adi and Etienne

Content Warnings: Discussion of mental health and vague reference to suicidality, misogyny, nastiness between traumatized siblings, references to canon-typical violence.

Note: I am crossposting/mainly posting to my Twitter.

“...You’re taking him to that barbaric fighting ring, aren’t you?”

Etienne paused scratching away at their paperwork, but they didn’t look up at Adi. They brushed their cheek with the feather from their quill. They waited for their younger brother to keep speaking and only stepped into the spotlight of silence when he said nothing more.

“...And?”

“He got hurt, the other day! Pretty seriously! And you as well! And Jaaster now, too?!”

Etienne heard the tightening of fists in leather gloves. They slowly raised their chin, looking up at their brother with a complete lack of concern that they knew he would find infuriating. That squeezing sound spoke of a violence Adi would never actually enact. They feared very little from Adi aside from his rejection. Strictly speaking, this anger was not rejection.

“...And?”

“Well, you’re the ringleader, aren’t you? So you’re the one to be cross with. What is the meaning of this foolishness?! Since when are you so barbaric? Is this Vander’s influence? Before you met him, you weren’t like this!”

Etienne tensed. Those words plucked a nerve they hadn’t realized was so exposed. Now their whole body thrummed with the vibration of such an incongruent note. They spat back their discontent.

“...So, you think a lady can’t be violent without the influence of a man? That’s rich coming from you. Does that mean, then, that you think my mild manners were all the man I was with before?”

“You are a chameleon, aren’t you? You tell everyone you started fighting to impress him.”

Etienne sucked in a breath through their teeth. “That’s not quite true. I did it... because I needed it. And I needed him too. It was... me realizing my own potential, separate from who I thought I was supposed to be. I began making myself into who I wanted to be, not who I should be. And if Vander had an influence on that, it is only because he asked me why I was so stubbornly committed to doing the right thing when the right thing made me unhappy! It’s because he cheered me on every time I improved or shined a little brighter! Isn’t it the same with you and your beau? Do you not like how he lets you indulge yourself? How he is proud of you?”

Adi replied only with the creak of his hands slowly unclenching.

“Anyroad, you came to my office to hear me defend my actions, did you not? I should think you would prefer me finding an outlet for my frustrations rather than trying to force things with you and Telesphore like I once did. As for Memnon - if he’s fighting and training with us, then he’s not elsewhere, learning worse habits from worse people, and I should think you’d prefer that to the alternative. Because he’s not going to sit in a basement and smoke moko and wait around for you while you play hero healer for the company, you know! If he wants to learn, let him learn, damn it! If he wants to get knocked down, let him do it with us, where we can help him stand back up!”

“I don’t want him getting hurt, he - he’s been hurt enough already.” Adi bowed his head. “He was so close to gone, Etienne. We almost lost him. I -- almost --”

Etienne gestured to the chair nearby with far too much flourish in their wrist. Adi sat down.

“It’s alright,” Etienne said quietly. “We’ve all lost so much, it makes sense for us to cling even harder than before. Especially when we’ve had to let go of... those that kept us steadiest.”

Etienne set their quill down, pushing back on their chair, arms crossed over their chest. “Honestly, I’m sure you’d rather rant to Milloux or Miss Vio about this. I’m sorry that it’s just me now. We were both doing a lot better when we had buffers between each other, weren’t we?”

Silence.

“...Why haven’t you told him it bothers you? Why take it out on me?”

“...I don’t want to take it away from him, even though I’m so worried. Right now, more than anything else - he needs activities, he needs friends, he needs a win, a reason to get out of the mansion. Even if I don’t approve, I know well enough that I shouldn’t isolate him for my own peace of mind. That would be even worse - an even bigger risk for him in terms of his recovery.”

“Don’t martyr yourself with things unsaid. My advice as a divorcee.”

Adi drew his knees up to him on the chair. “I think this is the sort of thing I just need to make peace with.”

“...So you came here to make peace by picking a fight with me? Darling, are you sure you don’t need a few rounds in a fighting pit?”

A snort.

“You knew damn well that you could yell at me all you like and I won’t change. To try and use me to keep your partner from fighting - to throw Jaaster, who is a grown man capable of his own decisions, who could cave your skull in with a single punch, in case you needed to be reminded - under the cart because you personally find fighting distasteful,” Etienne picked up their quill again, then set it down. They leaned forward, brow slapped against their palm. “That’s so bloody paternalistic it makes me sick. Do you think your friend and your lover don’t know any better? Why am I the one responsible for your ire?”

“Because you’re their leader now, and you’re encouraging them,” Adi said, slowly unfolding. “Are you really there as a useful training exercise or are you there to play and show off? Are you looking out for them properly?”

“What do you want from me, Adi? Because I will not apologize. Memnon is not the only one who needs this - who needs a twelvesdamned win.”

“I want you to act like a leader, not some show-off who plays games.”

“You want me to act like Milloux? What would she have done in my place, praytell?”

“She would have thanked me for my patience.”

“Thank you, Adi, for... what, precisely? Saving your lectures only for me? You would never have spoken to her this way.”

“I didn’t need to.”

“Liar. You simply respected her enough to not question her authority.”

“No. She respected me enough to always listen to my concerns.”

Etienne exhaled harshly, almost an exclamation.

“I’m trying, Adi. I am seriously trying. I’m sorry I didn’t square it away with you before I started taking everyone. I just wanted a bit of fun for all of us. I wanted to go somewhere where I could just fight alongside them without worrying about it. I know our hearts are torn in half by what’s happened, and I just... I can’t let my colors change again, I can’t just pretend to be her and do what she might’ve done. I’m through with living that way. I don’t want to be a chameleon, I just want to be me. I didn’t ask to lead the company, it just happened that way.”

“She’s the reason I stayed, you know. She and Lettie and Jaaster.”

“...Not me. I know.” Etienne took a breath through their nose: it sounded suspiciously like a sniffle.

“Now who’s being a martyr.”

"So I hear congradulations are in order, dear." It was rare that Viviane was so lost in thought that someone could make it through the door of the bakery without her becoming keenly aware that they were there. In fact when she heard the voice she practically jumped out of her skin. This voice was far away from where it should have been, especially in her current condition.

"Xixa?" She practically dropped the cup of tea she had been sipping at without thought "Twelve, does Liri know you-"

"Don't quite care what the child knows. Now I will take a cup of that Moko tea you make with the mint and you will come sit with me." The tap of her can could be heard across the wooden floorboards, and her sightless eyes peered out just enough from behind the dark glasses she wore that Viviane could make out the blank white space they had become.

"Yes of course." Vi straightened her back and set down her cup, quickly bustling into the kitchen where she fixed the cup of tea Xixa requested, then filled her own again, dropping dollops of golden toned honey into each before picking them up and returning to the seating area.

"It is good to see you have been taking care of yourself. Your Aether is at the strongest I have seen it since you arrived in the Shroud." This was the eerie part she had learned about Xixa's ability, once her sight was gone she could see things in the Skein that no other could, or at least no other Vi had known.

"He has helped a great deal." She said quietly, setting down the cups on the table then turning towards the door to pull down the shade and slip the lock into place so they would be uninterrupted. The last thing she needed was someone else coming in through the door while she was talking about personal matters. Her recent marriage made her keenly aware of both of her husbands' influences in their work and beyond.

"I can see that girl" Xixa locked her gaze on where Viviane stood, it was terrifying really that a blind woman could so easily find her. "Come and sit I have something important for you." The was a rustle in the old bag the Miqo'te carried and by the time Vi sat down adjacent to her a brown wrapped package sat on the table near the Elezen's tea.

"Before she passed your Aunt Doshaine entrusted this to me. She knew the lifestream called for her. She could see the waters rising around her ankles and the chill tugging at her soul. Now go on open it and I will explain." Xixa carefully reached out in front of her finding the cup of tea with relative ease and she lifted it to her lips while Vi shakily reached for the package.

Nimble fingers tugged at the strings that bound the package there was such precision in the way they moved and in no time the paper fell away to reveal a familiar journal only this one was not as old looking as the others in the collection.

"Twelve is this?" She found herself barely speak the words, her hand reaching out to rest on the cover, the soft leather with its long ties made her smile and she could almost sense her Aunt's energy patterns there upon it.

"Started the day you arrived in the Shroud and written in every day after until she returned to the Sea." Xixa replied with a curt nod. "I know it is difficult to understand why you were never told until she was gone, but you arrived with a great deal of hate in your heart. You didn't need to find anymore of your Mother's secrets, Girl."

Careful fingers traced the cover, releasing the old scents of cinnamon and honey that Doshsine always carried as a scent. There were times when she was baking that the same scent would catch her attention and it always came with emotions she fought hard to contain.

"She told me right before she passed that I was to give you this only when you had settled into your path and moved on. Your recent wedding makes it a fine time and a good gift. That way she shares it with you. Book is enchanted, you can read no more than two pages in a sitting and if you try the pages go blank." A chuckle came from her then which ended in a wheeze and a hiccup "Spinner bless her. She had such a way with weaving Aether." Reaching for her tea again Xixa looked Vi's way.

Viviane looked from journal cover to darkened shades only to look back again. "The history of her and my Mother's childhood then?" It was times like these she thanked the stars above she did not have to breathe for it would have been impossible had she tried.

"There are things in this journal that will break your heart, secrets that you will find that will take Moons to digest. This is the tale you have sought the least and feared the most. I think you are ready for it, it will hurt but then it will help. It is more than their childhood it is their story, all of it." Sitting back in her chair then the Miqo'te brought out a small pipe, filled it with tobacco and then puffed on it till the scent filled the room.

"She loved you more than she could tell you girl. Words always got in the way. Only reason I could see it was she was like a Mother to me as well. I knew love when I saw it on her face. That journal will give you no great power, there is no spells to find. It will give you knowledge, though. Hells I almost wish I could read it myself, but that is not in my cards, only yours."

The scent of the smoke sent Vi into her apron for her own smoking case, there was silence in her motion in was that quick that even if Xixa could see she would not have noticed.

"You will not be getting your sight back again will you." The question had lingered on her tongue for a sennight now, while she could see the Aether that lingered there it felt empty to her, an unfilled space and it had dawned on her the truth.

"In time I will, girl. Doshaine told me turns ago a day would come when I gave my eyes to someone in need, an important sign. Used to think it was you but my sight came back in days. I laughed at her then, told her I would never be so foolish. In the end, it wasn't a fool thing at all, came out of my old dusty heart. Could you keep that out of your Brother's pointy ears for now? I have one nursemaid following me like I am a wee one who can't care for herself. Don't need that red-headed jerk of yours doing it too."

Vi snorted and then picked up her teacup her head shaking lightly "Say it like that I would think you had a crush on him Xixa. Reminds me of when I was a young girl smitten." Out of the corner of her eye, she looked and she smirked at the reaction she got.

"Did it rain when you did the handfasting?" The Mooncatte replied with a well-placed change of subject; her own grin lingering on her lips.

Ateeee, I missed you so much!!! I'm glad you're doing alright po. I'm doing fine too, di medj hectic ngayon cause kakatapos lang po ng midterms exam namin hehe.

Anyways, di po kami nakasecure ng tickets ng friends ko :((( super down po kami legit. 11 hours po kami nag-intay nung pre-sale kasi may membership po kami. can you do a quick run down of steps on how you draw fengqing’s hair 🥹 i always have such a hard time with it especially mu qing and you draw their hair so nicely

i draw their hair based on how i would style the hair in real life, so a lot of it is visualizing how you would tie it to make it look like their haircut.

I think mq has very long, silky hair with curtain bangs. you have to curl the long face framing bangs backwards to create the wavy parts around the face.

For fx, i draw a different type of high hair bun depending on if it's canon design or modern AU. i think it helps to imagine how he would tie it based on his personality/the situation.

i hope it was helpful!! 🌟✨ i recommend watching pictures of real hairstyles/hair styling videos to know how the hair ends up in such or such a way, because it will make it easier to visualize how to draw it.

Pero legit, I wanna genuinely say sorry for everything that I've done to you. Sorry na I'm pulling your triggers whenever you're in bad shape. For the very 1st time, you wanna grow yourself in terms of mindset then you had a setback na instead of me reminding you of what are slowly learning na. What did I do? I pull your strings and started accusing you of things.

When I started talking to you again, I intended to just really help you back to God. Parang I was doing it kasi sobrang nagui guilty paden ako how your relationship with God turned out. Yeah, I know it's your relationship with God. But I still can't help but to blame myself somehow. That's one thing na I'm trying to figure out how to move on. When you made me realize na I'm pushing you too hard. Na looking back, I'm trying to change you sooo bad. Looking back, I was so blinded by my anger with you. Pero in reality, I was the one being mean to you. I was so in denial lagi na, sabi ibang mga tao ung bad side mo lagi ung na mag magnify ko. Alam mo ba sukong suko na ko sa buhay ko. Naiinis ako sa sarili ko na alam ko naman pano gagwin ung mga bagay bagay. I have the answers to my questions, but I can't seem to pull myself together. Nakakapagod na mabuhay ng ganito. Ung litong lito na ko. Na dapat ndi naman. Gusto ko nalang mawala para matapos na lahat ng pain, hurt, confusion, dismay. Naiinis ako na I push people away from me.

Alam mo ba ung 2 weeks ako naka quarantine, naka SL. Ang dami ko na realize, nag flashback lahat ng masasakit na events ng buhay ko. Na realize ko na, ung mga deepest pains ko pala ndi ko pa na hi heal kasi Im scared to face them. Alam mo ung pakiramdam na I know what love is, I know what it looks like, but I never know how it genuinely feels kasi never ko pa sya nararamdaman from anyone. Nakakatawa na lahat puro head knowledge lang ako.

Lately ko lang na realize na ang problematic ko palang tao. Pero again, alam ko naman sagot sa lahat ng pinagdadaanan ko. Sobrang duwag ko, ung mga counseling sessions ko sa psychologist, lagi ko ni ca cancel last minute.

Just days back, I opened up to someone na Ill be attending a pschylogical counseling this Sat. Then sagot nya sakin, ay tama yan mabuti pa nga. Pero the tone of the voice is sobrang condecending. Na parang shes saying na nababaliw ka na. This person, i loved this person with all my life. I never felt so betrayed na, ndi ko man narinig sakanya na, that's good choice to seek professional help. I never felt the love & care.

After that, sobrang naco conscious na ko na sobrang mali ko as a person. (This is one of the reasons why sayo ko din binato ung coaching sessions, kasi I dont think i can pull myself together for a session)

Sorry kung ang daldal ko na naman. I just need to get this out of my chest para sure ako na ndi ako sa office sasabog bukas.

Not quite friends, not quite lovers, more than strangers, yet still not enough for eachother.

Not because they were different or somewhat unalike.

But because neither could admit the affection communicated by their sight.

“a tension”, “some feeling”, “a stare” but nothing more.

Nothing to initiate the fondess that each love bore.

A desire they both held, wishing the other one would know.

But not enough love to tell them today, “maybe in a day or so”.

In which, bokuto and akaashi finds it hard to tell one another about the feelings each felt, too scared of rejection, criticizim, and their friendship to fall.

"Nakakainis talaga eh! Deserving naman natin yung main arena, papampam kasi eh!!" said bokuto while walking, and akaashi said "hayaan mo nalang, atleast we're hogging all the attention sa court" bokuto crossed his arms "spokening dollars amputa" akaashi hit bokuto playfully, bokutos eyes lit up "akaashi look oh! Tara lets bili!" And pointed at a bakery, akaashi looked at him blankly, "we're gonna be late na" and after akaashi said that, bokuto made tampo, crossing his arms while grumply walking to the arena as akaashi followed him, akaashi doesn't like bokuto getting grumpy so he made a promise "I'll buy you that later nalang, how many as you want" and bokuto stopped, turning around "talaga? tangina mo talaga eh, wag moko ineenglish ha, pero sige pinipilit mo ako e" tapos inapir si akaashi, hinablot nya kamay ni akaashi at tumakbo papunta sa arena.

"akaashi pasa mo sakin yung bola!" Said bokuto, and akaashi was thinking about the outcomes, A, if he passed the ball to bokuto, it would be a success and they can continue the game, B, bokuto would fail to shoot sa other side of the net and get even worse, c, akaashi won't pass the ball to bokuto, leading to bokuto being uncooperative, which would be the worst. Akaashi passed the ball to bokuto attempts to land a spike but it's received and the Eiwa team scores instead. Fukurōdani is now two points behind when the team notice that Bokuto has fallen into another one of his moods. Bokutos teammates tried to cheer him up but bokuto was upset, "akaashi! Don't pass me the ball anymore!!" Bokuto said, and akaashi nodded and said "okay, use this time to calm down" bokuto looked at him with wide eyes but continued the game. It's been minutes and akaashi was craving to just hit the ball for just, one time, but akaashi wouldn't pass the ball to him just as he said.

But finally, akaashi encouraged bokuto and gave him assurances, leading to bokuto getting a successful spike.

"Akaashi! Nakita mo yon? Nakita mo?" Bokuto said, and akaashi replied "yes, ang galing mo." And ngumiti si bokuto. "Hoy!! Yung sabi mong bibilhan moko yung asa bakery!" Bokuto said, and grabbed akaashis wrist and ran to the bakery

While bokuto was eating the food, akaashi was staring at him, like always, but this time, it was so pure, so full of love. "Bat ka nakatingin? Crush mo ba ako?" Bokuto joked, tumawa si akaashi and said "tanga, hindi"

While they were walking back sa arena, a girl came close to them and talked to akaashi, they seemed so close, bokuto felt jealous, and tried to reason the they'd be late "akaashi malalate na tayo!!" Bokuto said, "teka, 3 minutes" akaashi replied. Bokuto crossed his arms and said "hmp, bahala ka jan, mauuna na ako" and walked away, hindi pa nakaka 6 steps si bokuto, hinila na sya ni akaashi, "lets go?" Akaashi said, "luh, parang tanga" habang pinalo si akaashi, they walked back to the arena.

PROMISE

Magkaibigan sila Charmaine at Noah simula kinder, kaya mahirap silang paghiwalayin.

"Bff tayo hah, walang iwanan!" Ang sinabi ni charmaine kay noah.

Hi ako si Charmaine but call me Cha. Si Noah yung kaibigan ko, matagal naaaa, hindi mo talaga kami mapag hiniwalay. kasama ko sya sa lahat ng bagay. May pangako pa nga kami sa isa't isa na hindi kami mag iiwanan.

"Bff tayo hah, walang iwanan!"

Close na close kami ni Noah simula bata pa kami, mag ka kilala din ang magulang namin kaya kami nag ka kilala. Mag kasabay kami laging pumapasok sa school at pag-uwi.

Ngayun sa school namin kami ay mag kaklase, lagi kaming sabay kumakain kaya lagi kaming tinutukso ng mga kaklase namin na mag jowa daw kami, pero hinahayaan nalang namin yun. Madalas naming tambayan ni Noah is yung library sa school namin, and sometimes sa park malapit sa bahay namin. Masayang kasama si Noah at napaka gentle men nya, lalo na sa mama nya.

"Noah!!"

"oh bakit?"

"tara laro"

"saan? Nag babasa ako eh"

"mamaya kana mag basa!! Tara na libre kita ice cream"

"sige na nga"

Kahit na ganito kami ka close ni Noah, may pinaka tatago akong sikreto sakanya. May sakit ako na Anemia, last week ko lang nalaman pero hanggang ngayun di ko parin sinasabi kay Noah...natatakot kasi ako na baka mag alala sya or layuan nya ako.

Noah's POV.

Gagala sana kami ni Cha nang biglang gusto daw ako maka isap ni mama. Kinausap ako ni mama na sabi ay lilipat na daw kami sa America dahil doon na sya mag tra trabaho.

"Noah, gising nak"

"Uhm bakit po ma?"

"Lilipat na tayo ng America, doon kana mag aaral"

"Pe-pero b-bakit po?.. p-pano po"

"Dun nako mag tra trabaho anak eh, 3 weeks nalang lilipat na tayo. Diba gusto mo yun? Diba simula noon pinapangarap mo na maka kita ng snow"

"Opo ma pero..."

"Hay nako anak, sa monday samahan moko papa drop na kita sa school nyo"

Nagulat nalang ako sa balita ni mama.

"Pa'no ko to sasabihin sa mga kaibigan ko? Bakit iiwan na namin tong bansa na kinalakihan ko? Pa'no na yung mga pangarap ko dito? Pa'no na yung mga memories ko dito?"

Sa dami ng tanong na tumatakbo sa isip ko hindi ko na namalayan na nasa park na pala si Cha, nag hihintay saakin.

*CHAT*

"Asan kana Noah antagal ko na dito oh"

"Uhm sorry Cha, hindi muna ako ma kakapunta..."

End of Noah's Pov.

Cha's Pov

"Hay nako, kanina pa'ko dito tapos 'di naman pala sya pupunta haysss. Mag titingin nalang ako ng mga pwede kong bilihin..."

Habang nag hahanap ako ng mga pwede kong bilhin ay naka ramdam ako ng hilo, at parang nang lalabo at dumidilim ang paningin ko, and then everything turns black.

Nagising ako na nasa bahay na, sinubukan kong tumayo kahit nahihilo pa ako.

"Ma?"

"Oh nak, buti naman gising kana"

"ano nang yari ma?"

"Nasa park ka kanina, nahimatay ka daw sabi nung tendera tapos nakita nya yung likod ng case ng cellphone mo kaya natawagan nya ako."

Nagulat nalang ako sa nangyari.

Monday nanaman kaya balik school nanaman. Sinalubong ako ni Noah sa gate ng school namin dahil hindi ko sya naka sabay papuntang school.

"Cha oh..."

"Ayyy thank uuuu, ganda naman ng timing mo, hindi pa'ko nag aalmusal eh"

"Pwede ba tayo mag usap?"

"Uhm.. tungkol saan?"

"Basta! Tara sa library habang hindi pa nag b-bell"

Hinila ako ni Noah papuntang library.

"Uyy sandali nga lang..."

"Cha.."

"Hmm?"

"Lilipat na daw kami sa America, du'n na daw mag tra-trabaho si mama"

"P-pero.."

Sobrang tahimik namin pagkasabi nya non, kaya napa takbo nalang ako palabas ng library.

Buong araw kong hindi pinansin si Noah, at pinagsisihan ko yon, dahil kinabukasan ko na lang nalaman na nagdrop na sya at hindi na sya papasok. Nag-message ako kay Noah, kaso mukhang papunta na sya ng America dahil hindi na sya nag-reply.

Noah's POV

"Nakakalungkot isiping hindi man lang ako nakapagpaalam sayo Cha, pero sana patawarin mo ako na iiwanan kita, pangako babalik ako, at sana sa pagbalik ko, naalala mo pa rin ako."

Makalipas ang ilang oras sa flight, nakarating na kami sa America, naabutan pa namin yung snow, napakagandang pagmasdan, pero dahil dito, naalala kita Cha, dahil palagi mong kinikwento ang pangarap mo na makapunta sa lugar na may snow.

"Nak"

"Bakit ma?"

"Ok ka lang? Parang tulala ka yata simula nung makarating tayo"

"Ok lang ako ma, nanghihinayang lang ako na hindi ako nakapagpaalam kay Cha"

"Mabuti pang tawagan mo na lang sya, at magsorry ka na hindi ka nagpaalam sa kanya"

Tinawagan ko si Charmaine, pero naka-off na ata yung phone nya kasi hindi nag-ring, napaisip ako na baka galit pa rin sya na hindi ko agad sinabi na ngayon ang alis namin.

Cha's POV

Nanakaw yung cellphone ko habang naghihintay ako ng masasakyan, di ko rin napansin na may tao na pala sa likod ko sa labo ng paningin ko dahil sa luha ko.

"Mom, may balita na ba kayo kay Noah at kay tita"

"Ahm wala pa anak, bakit? Totoo ba nagdrop na sya?"

"Oo ma eh, di man lang sya nagpaalam"

Naiinis ako na nalulungkot dahil wala na ang kaibigan ko. Ni hindi ko manlang nasabi sakanya na may sakit ako...

This will be the last time I'll ever say anything about what happened, and maybe if you get to read this someday you'd actually understand the point.

1) I only wanted to go to your house kasi gusto ko makita. This was never the only time I brought it up. Halos lahat ng melbourne, namention ko yun sayo. And every time sabi mo next time.

2) I asked you this month na tour mo naman ako sa house mo kasi gusto ko makita since I've never been there. Kaso sabi mo effort, pag mag punta nalang ako. Okay.

3) I never said gusto ko mag punta sayo agad. My plan was since off ka naman if ever on the second day after I do my adelaide sector, sayo tayo uuwi tapos in the morning, babalik ako ng hotel ko. Which is mag ccommute nalang ako by train. Papahatid lang ako sayo sa station kasi nga alam ko naman na malayo kung uddrive mo tapos mag ddrive ka ulit pabalik.

4) I never understood bakit sobrang ganun yung reply mo until sinabi mo na "tsaka my housemates nako". Anong konek nun? First bahay na stinayan mo nag punta naman ako, no issues. I'd not expect any issues especially yung bahay ngayon eh ikaw mismo yung nag paparent so ano namang issue kung may dadalhin ka dun tapos ako pa?

5) I waited for you to at least tell me sino ba yung housemates mo. Pero lagi mo nilalayo yung usapan, you're so pressed against na makapunta ako. Why? Kasi di mo pa sakin minemention kung sino.

6) I asked you na directly. Tapos sinabi mo na kung sino. If you're so pressed na walang dapat pag isipan ng masama, bakit sobrang galit mo just because I wanted to stayover sa house mo. Like what the hell?

7) Nevertheless kung tayo o hindi. The mere fact na napag usapan natin na wala ka padin housemates in the same month that they moved, it would be common sense to at least mention na may lilipat na pala. Doesn't matter who. Hindi mo kelangan pa sabihan ako kung kelangan pa ba. I have a friend na napag usapan namin last year na gusto nya kumuha ng lot sa legazpi, when we met this year, it just came sa usapan na uy nakabili na ako ng lupa dito KASI NGA we discussed about it before and gusto nya lang ako iupdate KASI we're friends and isa ako sa mga taong napag sabihan nya before. Delikadeza.

8) I don't buy the lowbat ka kahapon bullshit kasi una sa lahat hindi yan lahat nangyari sa isang araw. It's common sense na syempre ba memohan ka kelan ba lilipat yung tao.
