To the mom with no mom friends, I know it’s lonely. I know it’s hard. You wish you had someone to call. Someone to have play dates with. Someone to just understand.

You see the women all over social media posting photos of their kids playing, and growing up together.

Moms getting coffee, going to the park, and hanging out while their kids play.

You sit on the other side while you glance now and then and wonder what it would be like, to have that.

You feel guilty, and wonder if you should make more of an effort to find people. You wonder if you’re taking away an experience from your child because you don’t have that.

You are not alone mama. How do I know this?

Because I am a mom with no mom friends. I understand you, I am you. There are so many of us out here that get it. We have our own group, we just haven’t found one another yet.

For KinnPorsche week day 1, I had to choose Porsche, specifically Momfriend Porsche. I love so many of the characters in the show, but Porsche's desire to just take care of everyone is so endearing to me. Is he a disaster bi? Yes. Does he struggle with making good decisions in the face of any pressure? Absolutely. But he's also someone, who once he's emotionally attached to you, will be there any way you need. There's many jokes here about his single braincell struggling to keep up with the world around him, and that's valid, but there's an emotional intelligence to Porsche that really shines when he's talking one on one with people.

There's a focus in the show on his skills as a fighter, and the other skills he develops as a bodyguard, but I love the small glimpses into domestic Porsche. One of my favorite quotes has always been "Nothing is so strong as gentleness, nothing so gentle as real strength." (Saint Francis de Sales) and it's one that I think applies so accurately to Porsche.
