Yes I’m still doing these. Slowly but surely, at least the ones I had distinct ideas for. Anyway! Deuce got in a blastcycle accident, Epel was on the phone with him when it happened. They were about to meet up for something for fall break or something….im sure they didn’t plan this. Ofc Epel called fantasy 911 first, but then…
Tumblr media
He’s on the phone with Rook because as CRAZY AS HE IS, mans knows how to handle emergencies. Also look at his dumb picture please lmao
Please don’t tag with ship tags, thanks!!

My husband is a fighter. He’s always been bull-headed and determined, with a take-no-shit attitude and an unbreakable spirit, and it’s never been more evident than in the last few days. He was in a horrific motorcycle accident on the way to work Thursdsy morning, and he beat the odds. He survived. Heaven couldn’t handle him, and as one of his friends so eloquently put it, Hell still has a restraining order against him, so they both sent him back to me because they know I’m the only one in the whole damn universe who can put up him and that I’m up for that challenge.
The price for beating those odds came at the cost of the lower half of his left leg, but Mike is taking it in stride. That unbreakable spirit of his reared its head immediately. He’s had such a positive attitude about this whole situation. I’m so proud of him, and I’m so impressed. We’re getting through this one day at a time, cracking so many dark jokes along the way that my sides hurt from laughing so hard. I love him, and I’m so grateful that he’s still here so I can give him shit. I’m not the “crippled bitch” anymore; Mike won that contest and all the razzing that he’s given me over the past year is coming back to him tenfold now lol.
His friends at AP&P and FOP set up a fundraiser to help us cover some of the costs of his recovery and rehabilitation. There is no pressure to donate, but please share if you can. We have a long, uncertain road ahead of us and any little bit helps.
I’m trying to keep up with the flood of well wishes and offers for help. The response has been amazing and truly, truly touching. In the quiet moments, when I have a chance to decompress and think, I’m often left speechless and very humbled at the support system he has. I’ll keep you all updated on his progress as I can.
PS: FOP cut off the wrong body part in the picture. It’s his leg that’s missing, not his head. Just in case you were confused.

Need help with medical bills
My boyfriend and best friend was in a motorcycle accident June of last year and we found out the hard way that motorcycle insurance doesn't cover medical unless you add it, he has had 1 surgery and a year of physical therapy that we have been paying for out of pocket and we just found out he needs 2 more surgeries that we will also have to pay for out of pocket. We have a settlement going but sadly we were told nothing is being paid for until he has been told by a doctor what his healing going forward will be like. Until then we have to pay for everything on our own. We can't afford to pay for everything on just my paycheck while he is recovering from his surgeries and we wait for legal things to wrap up. thank you.

You probably wonder why I share this photo. Well... A few fays ago, I left to work in the market of a neighbouring village. The road was not long. Fifteen minutes by car. The night before, it had rained. Making this road slippery. We often forget that it is the routine journeys that become dangerous. I was just driving. Maybe five or even three minutes... when at the next turn I saw this vehicle stopped. An accident had just occurred.
I still wonder how I managed to stay calm and not faint, because I had to reassure the direct witness of the accident and the injured young girl and inform the emergency services in a same time. My phone not receiving any network and that of the direct witness being discharged, we had to borrow the girl’s phone. I can’t thank enough the other two men who arrived after that to make the conversation with the young girl while I reassured the live witness still in shock and that I inform the emergency services about the condition of the injuries and the location of the accident. Then... while waiting for another call of emergencys on the way, I put myself in the place of the girl: injured, panicked, surrounded by unknown faces and waiting emergency services in pain... I figured he needed a familiar face.
My first thought was to call her parents. Then I put myself in the shoes of the girl’s parents... What call would they have preferred to receive ? The one at the hospital, telling them that their daughter is far away from them and lies far from them within their walls ? Or knowing from someone that she had an accident not far from home ? After asking the girl what She wanted (whom I call her mother), another realization made me sick... I was calling a mom with her daughter’s cell phone to tell her that her daughter had just had an accident with her motorcycle. I didn’t feel well when the mother picked up thinking she had her daughter... and instead, she hears the voice of a stranger (mine). Some would have thought I was really stupid to call the parents of a girl in bad shape.. But the girl was in pain and scared. She needed her parents. I didn’t have time to warn his parents to pay attention to his injuries when they arrived... But the girl was able to relax. Emergencys arrived one minute later.
When I went back to the market, people saw that I wasn’t feeling well... My mother-in-law gave me a hot chocolate. And the manager of the café had drawn this little flower on top. A flower that almost has the shape of a heart. Things got me to wake up early that day so I could be there when needed. And this flower was like a thank you sent from afar.

Introduction:
Finding the right motorcycle accident attorney is paramount when dealing with the aftermath of a motorcycle crash. In this comprehensive guide, we'll walk you through the key considerations to help you choose the perfect motorcycle accident attorney to handle your case.
Tumblr media
Experience Matters:
When it comes to legal representation, experience is paramount. Look for an attorney who specializes in motorcycle accident cases and has a proven track record of successful outcomes. An experienced attorney is familiar with the intricacies of motorcycle accident law and can navigate the complexities of your case effectively.
Reputation and Reviews:
Research the attorney's reputation in the legal community and among past clients. Online reviews and testimonials can provide valuable insights into the attorney's communication, professionalism, and overall effectiveness. A positive reputation is a strong indicator of a trustworthy attorney.
Expertise in Personal Injury Law:
Motorcycle accidents often result in personal injuries, and your chosen attorney should be well-versed in personal injury law. Ensure that they have a comprehensive understanding of the medical aspects of your case and can work with medical professionals to strengthen your claim.
Trial Experience:
While many cases are settled out of court, having an attorney with trial experience is crucial. Insurance companies may be more inclined to offer a fair settlement if they know your attorney is prepared to go to trial. A seasoned trial attorney can also better advocate for your rights in the courtroom.
Communication Skills:
Effective communication is key throughout the legal process. Choose an attorney who is responsive, communicates clearly, and keeps you informed about the progress of your case. Open and transparent communication fosters a strong attorney-client relationship.
Fee Structure:
Understand the attorney's fee structure before committing to their services. Some attorneys work on a contingency fee basis, meaning they only get paid if you win your case. Clarify any additional fees and expenses, ensuring there are no hidden costs.
Local Knowledge:
Opt for an attorney who is familiar with the local laws and regulations pertaining to motorcycle accidents in your area. Local knowledge can be advantageous when navigating the legal system and dealing with regional nuances.
Accessibility:
Accessibility is crucial during a legal proceeding. Choose an attorney who is accessible and willing to meet with you regularly to discuss your case. Accessibility fosters trust and ensures that you are actively involved in the decision-making process.
Client-Centered Approach:
Look for an attorney who prioritizes your needs and concerns. A client-centered approach means that the attorney is dedicated to understanding your unique situation and tailoring their strategy to achieve the best possible outcome for you.
Conclusion:
Choosing the right accident attorney is a crucial step in navigating the legal aftermath of a motorcycle crash. By prioritizing specialization, track record, client reviews, and other key factors, you can confidently select an attorney who will champion your rights and secure the compensation you deserve. Are There Special Considerations for Motorcycle Accidents in Missouri?
Tumblr media
Missouri's roads, with their varying landscapes and conditions, present a unique set of challenges and risks for motorcyclists. This article will discuss the special considerations surrounding motorcycle accidents in Missouri, emphasizing the importance of understanding the distinct nature of these incidents. From legal nuances to safety concerns, we delve into various aspects that make motorcycle accidents stand apart from other vehicular accidents.
Understanding the Unique Risks of Motorcycle Riding
Motorcycling in Missouri offers an exhilarating sense of freedom but comes with increased vulnerability. Unlike car accidents, where passengers are enclosed within a protective frame, motorcyclists are directly exposed to the force of impact. This exposure significantly raises the stakes in terms of potential personal injuries. Understanding these risks is crucial, not only for adopting safer riding practices but also for comprehending the complexities involved in legal cases pertaining to motorcycle accidents.
Missouri Laws Impacting Motorcycle Riders
In Missouri, motorcycle riders are subject to specific legal requirements, such as mandatory helmet use for certain age groups. These laws aim to enhance rider safety but also influence legal proceedings following an accident. For instance, non-compliance with helmet laws might affect the outcome of personal injury claims, potentially complicating the process of securing compensation.
Key Factors in Motorcycle Accidents
Several factors contribute to motorcycle accidents in Missouri. Poor road conditions, such as potholes or uneven surfaces, can be particularly hazardous for motorcyclists. Additionally, the visibility of motorcycles to other drivers plays a crucial role in accident prevention.
Understanding these factors is essential for building a strong legal case and for advocating for improved safety measures on Missouri roads.
Navigating Insurance Claims After a Motorcycle Accident
After a motorcycle accident, dealing with insurance claims can be a daunting task. It's important to approach these claims with caution, as insurance companies often aim to minimize payouts. Seeking legal counsel before discussing your case with insurance adjusters can be a strategic move to ensure your rights are protected and you receive fair compensation.
Legal Considerations Specific to Motorcycle Accidents
Motorcycle accidents involve specific legal considerations that differ from those of car accidents. For instance, the assessment of damages and injuries might follow different protocols due to the nature of motorcycle accidents. Legal support becomes invaluable in navigating these complexities, ensuring that all factors are duly considered in your case.
Gathering Evidence and Building Your Case
Collecting evidence is a critical step in pursuing a motorcycle accident claim. Photographs of the accident scene, witness statements, and medical records are key components that can strengthen your case. This evidence not only helps in establishing the facts of the accident but also aids in accurately depicting the extent of damages and injuries.
Compensation and Damages in Motorcycle Accident Cases
Victims of motorcycle accidents in Missouri may be entitled to various forms of compensation, including medical expenses, lost wages, and pain and suffering. Understanding how damages are calculated and what you are entitled to can significantly influence the outcome of your case.
Safety Tips for Missouri Motorcyclists
Safety should always be the top priority for motorcyclists. Wearing appropriate gear, adhering to traffic laws, and staying vigilant on the road are key practices that can reduce the risk of accidents. Additionally, staying informed about Missouri's specific motorcycling laws and regulations can contribute to safer riding experiences.

Missionary Speaks. Miss Lois Pritchard, missionary teacher, who is home on furlough from Egypt, gave a very interesting ac- count of her experiences when she addressed the Young People's Society of Grace United Church in the lecture hall of the church on Friday evening. She told of teaching in the Holy Land, the customs and habits of the natives, and their aptness in learning.
Miss Pritchard was a classmate of Miss Ina Sheets of the Linklater school teaching staff, Gananoque, at the Ottawa Normal School, and is her guest while in town.
Church Anniversary The ninety-sixth anniversary of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church was observed with special services yesterday, the preacher for the occasion being Rev. Norman McLeod, M.A., PhD., D.D., Moderator of the Sy- nod of Montreal and Ottawa.
A "hard times" dance was staged in the Scout Hall Saturday evening by the unemployed, and was a well attended and altogether successful affair.
