Just finished reading Rumble Fish and like, when I looked up what motorcycle boy looked like I was kinda disappointed :/ don't get me wrong I understand there was a reason that they chose the actor they did but in my head he was wayyy better looking... I can't wait to watch the movie, though. I really liked the book ^^

I saw a motorcyclist in the rain on my way home from work. He was at a red light. The rain was pouring down on him hard. I felt so bad, he must have been so cold. How adorable! I just wish I could warm him up. Help him wipe down his bike as he got out of his cold wet clothes. Putting his cold hands and body on me to warm up!

Former Urge Overkill Drummer Blackie Onassis Dies at 57

Former Urge Overkill drummer Blackie Onassis died June 13, the band said.

The drummer, born John Rowan, was 57. No cause was given.

“Urge Overkill is saddened to report that Blackie has passed away,” the group, which reformed in the early 2000s without Onassis, said.

“Please respect our privacy at this time. We are sending much love to his family and all his fans. We know he will be missed.”

Onassis joined Urge Overkill in 1991 and left in 1996. He subsequently joined Motorcycle Boy before exiting the music business.

“RIP to … Blackie Onassis,” the group wrote on Facebook. “We had some fun times during his brief stint with us in the late-’90.”

Finished reading and watching Rumble Fish 😭.. Spoilers ahead but during the Motorcycle Boys death scene all I could think about is Rusty-James explaining how he doesn't like being alone and how he looked up to his brother so much. How frantic he seemed during the movie when him and the Motorcycle Boy were at the pet store hasn't been able to leave me either..
