bug is having a horrible time in act 2. her only goals as of the end if act 1 were: get rid of the tadpole, get her memories back, and impress shadowheart. then sceleritas fel shows up and tells her that she really is a bloodthirsty murderer and she just accepts that acting like her old self is the only way to get her memories back. so she stops denying her urges and kills isobel and, as a result, the whole of last light as well. she’s honored with the form of the slayer, a piece of her old self, but it still changes nothing. she still has the tadpole in her head, she still doesnt remember who she is, and worst of all, she’s inadvertently pushing shadowheart away with her extremely violent tendencies.

I started watching a new CW show on a whim, and I am pleasantly surprised - Wild Cards. It has a lot of fun tropes used well between the two main characters Max and Ellis and it takes place in Canada - I would say which city, except I don't know skylines that well, but it has a water front, and I'm just going to say Vancouver or Toronto because those cities seem like the US's versions of NYC and LA - any and all shows take place in or around them.

Anyway. Ellis is the Grumpy and Tall and Max is the Happy and Smol of the duo - Ellis is a disgraced police officer who got bumped from detective to marine patrol, and Max is a con artist and thief. It's very much reminding me of White Collar, and they wind up having to work together because she helps him out solving a high profile crime. Because of their success, brass makes them an offer - if they can work together, they'll reinstate Ellis as a detective, and Max stays out of prison.

Admittedly, we are 1 episode in, but I CARE NOT. Things that I love in no particular order:

Max is not a male written character with a female cast in the role. She is fun and bubbly and charming and sweet and relies heavily on the fact that all of these things help distract marks, and lets her get out of a lot of trouble. Because she's so friendly and nice, she gets people almost immediately at ease - even people she's been known to scam like her. The people who arrest her like her. The cops in the bullpen like her. Even Ellis, who doesn't seem to like anyone at all, begrudgingly respects her.

Ellis is grumpy, and for a good reason. Actually, a couple good reasons. But instead of him being the only honest cop in a group of corrupt ones, he's the one suspected to be a dirty cop from an undercover gig, which went badly, and why he got busted down to marine patrol.

Zero Daddy issues for Max. Again, I admit, it's been one episode, BUT she visits him twice in prison (he's also criminally inclined) and he is more than happy to help her out, and that includes finding out Ellis's background to make sure she's not in more trouble than she thinks she is. Prison sentence aside, it seems like a solid Father/Daughter relationship (though it does make me think of the skit "I would be proud of my daughter no matter what. She could be a serial killer - "nine victims in total" - "excuse me? Nine that you know of").

Even though Ellis is cranky, he covers for Max even though it gets him in trouble instead of her in front of his superiors and his co-workers. He also just rolls with whatever bizarre scenario she's come up with for their cover - "I'm a Russian princess, and you're my pretty but clueless boy toy/goat yoga instructor" and the most he'll do is make a face, and then commit to the part.

Even though I am 100% positive this is going to be a romance between Ellis and Max, they're starting off with Mutual Respect for one another as people rather than just finding each other hot. I think Max looks at Ellis like "this is my poor little meow meow doom cloud " and Ellis is like "this is my emotional support extrovert." [two of my other favorite tropes]

They use a lot of tropes well - Ray of Sunshine and Grumpy Cat partners, Criminal and Cop as Partners, Criminal with Heart of Gold, Hidden Emotional Injury, Opposites Attract, etc.

Anyway - police procedural mixed with White Collar vibes. So far, recommend.

Natalie Scatorcio, Yellowjackets - 2 cannibal queens in a row I must have a type <3 I love a tragic hero who is also a violent, dangerous & unstable individual. forgiveness is a nice idea but my poor doomed antler queen will never live to see it... she was a gentle soul (ignore the atrocities) who never got to see a single moment of peace or gentleness in her life

4. Sam Carpenter, Scream - it was nearly impossible for me to pick between my best girls Sidney, Emma, & Sam for this list but I have to go Sam. she's the daughter of a serial killer. she enjoys stabbing people. she sees visions of her dead dad telling her to kill but she loves her friends & her sister more than anything. i adore my dangerous & violent but also oh so sweet babygirl

5. Faith Lehane Buffy the Vampire Slayer - listen, Buffy is the obvious choice for the best character in Buffy OFC. but have you considered. faith is broken & hurt & a little crazy with jealousy & obsession with buffy. she's the dark slayer. she has a dynamic with the wacky evil demonic town mayor that mirrors buffy's relationship with her wholesome (mostly. sometimes demon rebelly) librarian mentor as the dark side of the coin. she's never had anyone pick her first & it kills her but she pretends she doesn't care. i'd die for her

6. Baby Firefly - this time not a confirmed cannibal but my girl is into corpse desecration & necrophilia so I think this is a great list that proves I have excellent taste in fictional characters. "there is no wrong. if someone needs to be killed you kill 'em! that's the way :)"

7. Beth Salinger, Hostel 2 - fave final girl my bestie had a hot lesbian enemies to almost lovers to beheading you & playing soccer with the head dynamic with an evil secret society member who tried to lure her to her death. she also cut off the penis of the man who dared to fuck with her & fed it to a dog so like what more can you even want from a character <3

Dennis Reynolds IASIP - having dennis as my fave is soo embarrassing he's such a basic fave but genuinely he's SO fucking pathetic & sad beneath the layers of fake manipulative suave cool rich kid that he thinks he conveys (he doesn't). he's literally just a sad little girl who falls apart & curls up on he ground crying when things get overwhelming. everyone who doesn't understand him thinks he's a mastermind serial killer but they are FALLING FOR HIS ACT

Katherine Pierce TVD - THEY HATE TO SEE A GIRLBOSS WINNINGGGGGGG (I don't know Scarlet Witch but I think it's funny to steal the description for #9 for Katherine from the person who tagged me in this hehe) anyway it's funny for me to pick Katherine when I named my cat damon & I have a ginormous shirtless poster of ian somerhalder literally over my bed I'm looking at it right now BUT hear me out. Katherine is my real fave. unforgivable villain who always chooses herself first & also mirrors the protagonist & also she was just a girl once too, a pregnant, scared young girl. if the writers cared about me specifically at all we would've gotten a spin off of Katherine & her daughter instead of what we got

10. Annie Edison Community - much like with buffy the vampire slayer & buffy summers, there is a correct answer to which community character is objectively the best & it's obviously abed. BUT my subjective fave that I latch onto is annie. she's just so babygirl. she had a nervous breakdown in high school because she was always too perfect. she's just out of rehab for adderall when we meet her but it's mostly only referenced or flashed back to as a joke. we never meet her parents but the quotes she references from them are deeply disturbing if you turn off the laugh track & pay attention. she has a fucked up relationship with her good older male friend because #daddy issues. she is obsessed with true crime. there's a monkey named after her boobs. she's the ONLY member of the study group who could've EVER lived with troy & abed & incorporated herself into their dynamic the way she does in episodes like foosball & nocturnal vigilantism. my girl is so silly & a little crazy <3

After All for One's final fight with All Might and his imprisonment at Tartarus, he attracts a bunch of creepy simps. People who are attracted to murder. People who get off on his scars. People with very little survival instinct. All for One is disgusted by the disturbing and stalkerish fanmail. The guards read the letters out loud to All for One whenever he gets too annoying.

All for One: So what will the letter be today? Another disgusting sexual fantasy? I’ve heard so many that I’m numb to them.

Guard: Oh, we have a real special treat for you for you today. “Dear All for One, how I long to redeem you with the power of love. I know you’re a good person deep down. It’s just that your quirk drives you to commit crimes.”

All for One: Excuse me? I’m very proud of my crimes! I deserve full credit for all of them!

Guard: Not according to your devoted fan, who says, “I admire how you look after abandoned orphans. You can’t hide your sweet sensitive side from me.”

one of my favorite things about this fandom (derogatory), is you can say “the marwa storyline wasn’t actually bad and actually was a fun little romp perfectly encapsulating nandors very essence as a character and all the things fundamentally wrong with him, as well as highlighting how him and Guillermo would actually make a very complimentary couple because they’re both really fucked up and selfish, but do in fact care very deeply for the people they’ve deemed worthy of their love, and actually what nandor did to marwa and to Guillermo wasn’t even close to the most fucked up thing he’s ever done, and to be fair Guillermo is also an objectively bad and evil person so who really cares right?” And then someone will scream at you “BUT MY POOR LITTLE MEOW MEOW!!!” and you’ll be like it’s a tv show about demons from hell and their pet serial killer, none of this is real and even if it was who cares about their interpersonal drama when they’re all murdering people? And then they’ll be like “IT WAS RACIST” and you’ll be like they actually really thoughtfully integrated the traditions and customs of the leading cast into the storylines of this season and previous ones in a very beautiful and seamless way, and it’s not racist to have a side character introduced and then unceremoniously shipped off (even if that character is non-white), that’s just how sitcoms work sometimes. And then they’ll revert back to the poor little meow meow schtick, and then you’ll try to argue with them and go to their page and see they’re 13. Guys. You have homework to do. This sex show about violent murdering hellspawn is maybe a bit above your age demo. Go watch wizards of waverly place and calm down. I promise you, you won’t care about anti-marwa racism when your brain finishes developing. You rail against villain fuckers, but support Ash who wants to fuck Belos and makes self-ship art of it?

Ash's art of Aska and Belos depicts one thing: A very one-sided, very absuive relationship. It's established many times that Belos is just using her as stress relief during his plot to kill every witch on the Boiling Isles, and while Aska's feelings are real she's very much being played for a fool.

This is all on brand for Belos. It's something you could easily see him doing.

It's grim, and it's under no delusions as to what kind of character Belos is, and if anything it's a story about a hybristophile meeting the logical end point of their pursuit of a serial killer. And later after she escapes, she gets into a much more supportive and healthy relationship with Alador and/or Darius. And some posts indicate that Aska is recovering from her experiences with her abuser.

To put it in simple terms because brain fog has made words fail me: That's fucking cool. That's a cool story, and Aska's a cool character. That's part of what makes Ash's work so cool is that "villain" means "VILLAIN" not "poor little meow meow who never did anything wrong."

I know you were trying to "gotcha" me but I decided to hijack your ask to very sincerely praise the work of one of my wife's close friends. Everyone go follow @trashyourash, you won't be disappointed.

A 'fun' fnaf x Transformers Animated crossover idea.

I'm going to be working with the theory that Fnaf Pizza sim takes place in 2023. So after the events of pizza sim we know someone took over Fazbear Entertainment then made, Fnaf Ar, Fnaf VR: Help Wanted, and eventually the Mega Pizzaplex. It would have taken years for something like the Pizzaplex to be built and it would take even more time to build up enough money to make something like after Henry dissolved the company. So I would say it took around 20 odd years for the Pizzaplex to be built making it 2053 and as we know tfa takes place in the 2050s.

So after the events of Fnaf Ruin and a continuation fan work that I'm making that's 90% self indulgence and 10% what I seriously want to happen in the future of the franchise, that branches off from a Fazbear Flights au that I posted memes for here and never posted any more content of since. Cassie, Roxy, Mxes in a psyhcial form (probably inside of Glamrock Bonnie), Eclipse, and the Stitchwraith (their mostly here because my poor like meow meow doesn't have that much fan content and I wanted Andrew to have a connection to Monty, seriously u don't just introduce a ghost kid who wears an animal then a game later they introduce an animatronic based on the animal of the mask and make them havw nothing to do with each other), are on the run from The Mimic and whatever else was done there with Mxes no longer being able to contain it forcing them to leave the Pizzaplex.

Unfortunately they can't stay with Vanessa, Gregory and Freddy because they would be found much more quicker that way, so they end up traveling by themselves cross country to stay with one of Vanessa's relatives in Detroit who happens to work at Sumdac Tower. Since Detroit quickly became the home of the Autobots no one questions why this little girl is almost always seen with these sentient broken down robots.

Since technically Vanessa's relative, who shall be unnamed for now because I haven't thought of one, is Cassie's legal guardian for now they must have told their co workers at some point and thus they get invited to Sari's birthday party from the episode Sound and Fury. They end up becoming quick friends bonding over the fact that most of their friends are robots and because a complaint I keep seeing about Sari is that she doesn't have any human friends or anyone but the bots and her dad to relate to.

Soundwave doesn't get turned into a Decepticon because Mxes realized something wasn't right and started blocking out Megatron. So Megs has to get inventive of how he was going to foil the Autobots plans and rebuild his body. Mxes basically ends up becoming the Autobots digital security working behind the scenes to prevent Megatron from fucking shit up more.

At the end of it all Cassie hopes she doesn't have to leave because this is the most safe she felt since going to the Pizzaplex that fateful day, because with all the weird alien shit that happens if a random Gitchtrap cultist, a mimic controlled bot or the Mimic itself, tries to attack them odds are an Autobot would be close by to step in to save them.

And the angst potential of when the Autobots try to leave of Cassie having a bit of a mental breakdown because being with them was the safest she felt before The Mimic tried to kill her, other than when she's with Mxes. Then everything about her past and why she moved to Detroit in the first place just comes out and the Autobots are just shocked. Then Andrew and Jake in the Stitchwraith comes along like 'yeah it isn't just the mimic we're on the run from but the digital download of the serial killer that killed Andrew as well'.
