What’s a wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

It's not really a WIP yet, just an untitled document with the idea. It's pretty personal, something about my mom and church that's going on in my life right now. I was going to subject poor Patrick and his lovely parents to the scenario, but don't know if I'll do it. Thought it might be cathartic for me, to have Patrick say the things I can't, but maybe not???

What are your writing strengths?

Um...dialogue? Secondhand embarrassment? I've been told I am good at finding the balance between cringe, funny, and sweet.

What are your writing weaknesses?

Ha! Anything other than dialogue!

Thoughts on dialogue in another language?

I like it as long as there is a translation or enough context clues to know what people are saying. I would probably never try it other than maybe a word here or there in French.

Favourite fic you’ve written?

Oh gosh. I don't know. Probably Marcy's Innocent Questions. That was very fun! But I also still really like my first one Bed Bath and Far Beyond. And also, Body Language because it's super cringe, but also, kinda sweet with all of those relationship milestones that no one really talks about?

Just curious. Has Noah identified publicly as straight?

To be honest, I don’t know.

I don’t follow the BTS stuff deliberately, only what I see floating around on here. I haven’t seen anything I guess where he states/clarifies explicitly that he is straight, but there are people who have been in this fandom a lot longer than me and who have followed Noah’s career a lot longer than me (I only started watching / knew who this guy even was after S5 aired) who know more than I do and that’s the going opinion.

I mainly get the impression from the way that he talks about things like how people keep asking him if there’s pressure in playing a gay character (which they don’t usually ask (out) gay/queer people!), and how he doesn’t feel there is because it’s about being in love - there is an interview I have seen where he talks about how being given a coming out arc is basically a blessing because it hands you a lot of the motivations etc on a platter. He does it in a very respectful way, but in my queer opinion it’s still a straight person’s answer.

Of course he could be closeted and there’s no way anyone could truly know, even if he did state somewhere at some point that he was straight. And some media might just be assuming he is straight because he is engaged to his girlfriend, when this wouldn’t prevent him being bi+ for example. I don’t plan to go looking for an interview or something where he says he’s straight explicitly bc to be honest, I don’t care and I don’t really like how often public figures get interrogated about that sort of stuff, but apparently he gets asked/speculated about a LOT so the answer (as far as we can ever know) is probably out there, maybe on his Twitter or Insta.

If you’re curious I would ask a Noah Reid blog or check out his actual posts/comments/replies to stuff - definitely go for someone who knows more about the bts than I do.
