fellow spoonies who struggle with fatigue/pain/feel like lying down all the time, i cannot recommend buying yourself a pack of drinking straws enough. i really didn’t think they'd make much of a difference, but when you have to spend a lot of time lying down it makes it so much easier to drink. i can just stick a straw in my bottle/glass/drinks receptacle of choice and stay lying down, or at least mostly lying down, without having to tip a heavy bottle or whatever backwards and risk spilling it all over myself due to Big Fatigue. highly, highly recommend to any and all folks afflicted by sleepy bitch disease

I'd been feeling severely anxious and depressed about my business being dead, and the thought of having to talk to my parents and ask for help again, but luckily my whinging (an Ad) on Facebook seems to have worked, and I got a nice little customer job. I know both options for the USA presidency are terrible. But one (CHUMP) is more terrible. I'm tired of the argument. I'm gonna stick with the slightly better Grandpa Joe. Not because I love him, because I don't. But because he's the one that'll get us closer to where we need to go. i have a headcannon that little maccready and lone got really close, mostly after project purity (in which lone survives) and see each other as siblings. when he leaves the CW he leaves duncan with aunt/uncle/cousin lone, who has to have at least SOME medical knowledge thanks to james. i just think it makes the most sense and is the nicest scenario :•)

I've definitely had similar thoughts as well, particularly to Mac's existing relationship with the LW in later years, but I had never really thought of this exact scenario and omg... it's just so sweet! 😩❤

Just... auntie/uncle Lone and little Duncan waiting for Mac to return one day, them taking care of him so sweetly, treating his illness as best they can without the cure. Them always being by Duncan's side, nights sitting by his little bed as they tell him all these dramatized stories of their dad's adventures and such, holding his hand as they stroll out and look after the little farms and visit the nearby markets.

The fo3 companions coming by to visit Lone, and they see this little kid, and all their different reactions and interactions with the little tyke as he asks them a million questions, despite clearly being fatigued from his sickness.

Lone being soft and caring, the way their dad taught them to be, and despite truly wanting Mac to return to his baby, deep down dreading the day that he returns, less he take Duncan away from them for good. They'd know it's for the best for the boy to be with his father, but they would always make that extra effort to come out and see him, wherever he ends up.

Does our brains have like some sorta of electricity?

Yea! There are ions of molecules in the brain which are charged particles that create signals on the form of electric currents in the brain which we receive in nerves as signals

Basically there are these things called Voltage-gated channels which specialized proteins embedded in the cell membrane, and they respond to changes in the membrane potential (voltage) by opening or closing, regulating the flow of ions across the membrane. In the context of the brain, it’s sodium (Na+) and potassium (K+) voltage-gated chan

And cells are polarized, so more negative inside than outside. So when a signal is released, and breaks a certain threshold, voltage-gated sodium channels open, allowing sodium ions to rush into the cell. This depolarizes the cell and triggers an action potential.

Then the action poetical travels along this bit in the neuron, the axon, and the signal is sent in an electric signal. Other channel gates open once the signal is done and depolarizes the cell back to normal… and the electric signal carries through the brain til it reaches the point it needs to reach…

So yea, electricity and charges are always happening in the brain :)

This is gonna sound cheesy, and maybe like a copy-pasta unintentionally idk lmao. I'm like trying so hard not to cry.

But, Mysta has been a big part of my life over the past year. Luxiem was my introduction to corporation VTubers and VTubers in general.

I wasn't there for all of his streams and when I did make it to a stream I was and still am just a lurker for my other Oshis. But nevertheless, he's still been an inspiration to me like many others in Nijisanji. He was the first I watched when I started getting into VTubers and I don't regret it one bit. His personality is so unhinged and I vibe with it so much. Even though I have watched him a bit less and less live, I have watched most of his VODs. My favorite will always be his cooking simulator stream where he had Vox and Nina and he set up a gas tank on a stove. That clip always makes me laugh on bad days, but he always makes me laugh. This has become more of a repetitive rant now, I'm trying to type this out through tears and tiredness. He will always be one of my Oshis, even after his graduation. I love him so much. I love the community. I hope wherever life takes him next, life treats him better. 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
