You hated fights with Levi, especially before expeditions. You two loved each other deeply however just like in any relationship, you had your good days and bad days and boy were your bad days BAD.

And today was one of those days.

“WHY CAN’T I GO, IM A FUCKING CAPTAIN JUST LIKE YOU LEVI!” YOU YELLED

“BECAUSE UNLIKE ME, YOU ARE COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT AND IF YOU GO OUT THERE YOU WILL DO NOTHING BUT TAKE UP SPACE AND CAUSE EVERYONE ISSUES!!” He yelled just as loud

“LEVI I AM DAMN FUCKING GOOD AT MY JOB AND YOU KNOW IT!”

“The only thing you are is delusional and you know it. So please, stop being a headache and listen for once.” He said in a chilling low tone. 

He didn’t actually think that you couldn’t handle it, if anything, you were more skilled than any other member of the army. But that’s when It’s Titans. The war you were going to fight was against humans and they were unpredictable. He was just worried about you. If anything were to happen to you, it would ruin him. He just didn’t have the best way of communicating that.

“Well fuck that Levi. I’m a grown woman and I can do whatever I want, and I’m not going to sit here at home while people are going to be out there fighting for their lives and that’s final!” You walked out and slammed the door behind you and that was that.

He knew he shouldn’t have let you come. He knew he should have made you stay but you just wouldn't listen.

He was using his 3DMG to get to the medics tent as fast as he could. You were okay. Oh gosh you are going to be okay. He can’t lose you. He needs you. You’re his everything and he wouldn’t be able to survive without you.

Running through the tent flaps. His blood ran cold as he looked down at you in your bed with a bullet wound right in the center of your chest.

He knelt right next to your bed and held your cold palm on his own. Gosh, you felt so cold. Too cold.

“Darling, hey, hey, I’m right here. Look at me, look at me.” He said frantically, trying to grab your attention.

You slowly turned your head to face him, Smiling softly at him when your eyes met.

“Hey sweety.”you responded, although your voice is extremely soft as you’ve run out of energy.

“Hi, look, everything’s going to be okay, just stay with me, you’re going to be okay, I promise.”

“Levi, I’m sorry, I should’ve listened” you said sadly, a stray tear running down your cheek.

“No, no, no, please don’t be sorry, it wasn’t your fault.”

“Remember to take care of yourself.” You said, voice fading slowly

“Y/N please-” he responded, voice breaking ever so slightly as he placed one palm against your cheek, brushing away your tears. Gosh, you were bleeding so much…too much.

“And don’t overwork yourself”

“My love please, don’t do this to me.”

“And you dare, ever, forget that I love you.”

“Also, remember that I just want you to be happy, okay.?” “Y-Y/N I’m begging you-”

“And you dare, ever, forget that I love you.” You said, and then your chest stopped rising and your body went limp.

“Y/N, Y/N please, wake up. Darling, wake up. Don’t go, please please please don’t go. My love, don’t do this to me. I can’t live without you, please. Please.”

He was trembling as tears streamed down his face. You were gone. No matter how much he denied it or how much he prayed to all that was good and just, You are gone. You are gone and there was nothing he could do to change that.

He didn’t even get to tell you he loved you.

And then being worried that his rocks are hard and uncomfortable, and Alice reassuring him that they are surprisingly smooth and cool to the touch so its actually not so bad lol but he likely heavy as frick PFF Sitting on a couch or laying on and bed and it just creeaaakkksss and sags down terribly 🤣 Alice just sliding towards him cause the bend is so bad LOOOL So those pillows and blanket barriers would definitely be needed for that alone 🤣🤣

Gosh though, them practicing how to show affection thouuugghhhh and to be soft?????? likeeee???? Alice: "lets start with holding my hand, here" -puts hand in the one that is gloved and is a hand for the most part lol- Fool's Gold: "..........." Alice: "go on" -Fool's Gold slowly closes his hand around hers- Alice: "there. see? You are plenty capable of being gentle" -Fool's Gold feeling only sort of a little relieved- Alice: "now how do you feel about picking me up so I can get rid of those cobwebs in that impossible to reach corner, they have been bothering me for weeks" -OCD cleaning can fully be ACTIVATED now loool-

But the pillow and blanket barrier would be so nice 🥹Just them laying there and staring at the ceiling in peace AAAHHH

The only time I can think of that we have seen Norton sleep was in that live action and he seemed content as hell sleeping on his side so I am going to go with that and be thinking he is a chronic side sleeper, fetal position sleeper. So all them rocks just crumpling together in a fetal positioned ball. While Alice is over there sleeping on her back and still as a board. Norton waking up and being like 'is she....breathing?' then watching closely to make sure LOOOL Its so obvious when Norton is breathing he breathes so hard cause of that black lung business but even without it I think it would be obvious lol So this quiet breathing business could be wild to behold LOOOL 🤣

anyways, what was I talking about? LOL OH YEA -SLAMS DESK- THEY NEED TO CUDDLE!! They both deserve CUDDLES 😭😭and them BIG cuddles would be AWESOME 👏👏👏👏👏

hey lumi! I just thought of another question I wanted to ask you, other than batb, which live action remake do you think is the best? I haven't seen any and I want an expert opinion 😄

oh my gosh!!!!! i’m so honored. and i’m also SO autistic so i did so much more here than you asked. but anyway i wanted to wait to answer this until today because the little mermaid (2023) just dropped on disney+ and i JUST watched it for the first time. so i can include it in my list!!

of course prefacing with these are all my personal opinions, im not a film expert (and i pray to God i never am) i just like what i like! so without further ado: my thoughts! also this is just in chronological order, not ranked.

alice in wonderland (2010) - dude!! this was SUCH a hyperfixation for me when i was a kid. somehow, batb 2017 is NOT the first live action disney movie i’ve been utterly obsessed with. this movie is so good. i love the lightly gothic, mysterious fantasy aesthetic that is has. i love the wardrobe, i want to wear every outfit alice wears. i love how dark it is, like there’s such an edge to it while still being pleasant and fun enough to respectably be a disney movie. johnny depp does a fantastic job of course, (purely discussing his acting abilities here) he truly brings the madness into the mad hatter. all the acting is fantastic though. i highly recommend this film. you don’t really need to have seen the 1951 cartoon, i hadn’t, but it doesn’t hurt to! (i don’t recommend the sequel, alice through the looking glass, though. they really should’ve quit while they were ahead on this one)

maleficent (2014) & maleficent: mistress of evil (2019) - i enjoyed both of these!! i actually liked the second one more, but either way, it’s such a fun take on sleeping beauty. and this is coming from someone who LOVES sleeping beauty 1959!! it’s different obviously but it really is a good time, absolutely worth watching.

cinderella (2015) - beautiful! lovely!! not the most exciting film honestly but i do love the aesthetics and wardrobe. it’s a really pretty, pleasant movie. i’d love to rewatch it sometime! if only disney+ had it! which it doesn’t! for some inexplicable reason!!

beauty and the beast (2017) - i know you said besides my wife but obviously i have to still list it because. that’s my wife. anyway perfect film no notes!

the nutcracker and the four realms (2018) - i wanted to like this one so much more than i did. but it was just, so weird. it derails from canon in a way that isn’t enjoyable. ah. twas a let down, for me.

christopher robin (2018) - i don’t remember much honestly but it’s cute!! certainly worth a watch, but i don’t recall anything too special about it. it did make me cry though (that’s not hard for me to do at movies, to be fair)

mary poppins returns (2018) - CANNOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH!! THIS MOVIE IS LIKE IF JOY WAS TURNED INTO A FILM!!!! AAAHHH!!! :) SO LOVELY SO WONDERFUL!!!

the lion king (2019) - :/ genuinely not worth your time. it was TOO similar to the cartoon in terms of storyline, so it felt incredibly pointless to me. plus, it’s kind of boring that they look like real lions. i felt like i was watching animal planet but then pulled out of reality whenever they spoke or sang afjskfj

aladdin (2019) - ever since i saw this, i’ve only ever had three takeaways, and i’ll say them like a compliment sandwich. 1. visually STUNNING. the colors and the choreography, the people! all very beautiful. 2. the romance was… very flat? i honestly kept forgetting there was a love story going on. when they kiss at the end i was like “OOOHHH RIGHT!!” lmao. there’s just so much other stuff going on, jasmine & aladdin’s love story really fell to the wayside for me. 3. i LOVED that they gave jasmine her own song. she’s like the only disney princess that didn’t have her own song, somehow, so i was happy they gave her one and it was SO good. i remember it giving me chills on the first listen. — so, all in all, it was fine. not the worst but also not a personal favorite. worth a watch.

mulan (2020) - BLEGH sorry i almost threw up a little. maybe the worst live action remake of all time? let’s think: what are the best parts of mulan 1998? the music? mushu? shang’s bisexuality? shang, in general?? WELL LOOK NO FURTHER BECAUSE THIS HAS NONE OF THAT!!! :) it’s genuinely just… so bad. they took the basic concept and turned it into a freaky ass action movie. they make it so mulan was like, gifted from a young age with superhuman abilities (calling it chi, which, i don’t know the full story but i believe there was some major cultural appropriation that occured) instead of just being a normal badass human!!! and it wasn’t the villain from the cartoon it was a random witch. nothing made sense and it was stripped of everything that makes mulan one of the greatest disney films of all time. *godfather voice* look how they massacred my boy.

the little mermaid (2023) - so honestly i never really liked the original cartoon. it just never clicked with me. but i had every bit of hope that this one would maybe bring it to life for me!! and… well, it wasn’t bad! it was visually lovely and the music was fun. i just don’t think i’m a “love at first sight” kind of person. but eric was an incredibly likable nerd boy, sebastian the crab was funny, and ursula was SCARY. especially at the end oh my gosh???? anyway. worth a watch, but not my personal cup of tea. ariel and eric get points for dancing a bit AND they hugged at the end which was really sweet. couples Do Not hug enough in media.

lastly, i can’t comment on: peter pan & wendy (2023), the jungle book (2016), dumbo (2019), lady and the tramp (2019), and cruella (2021), because i have not seen them. i will absolutely note though that i despise cruella 2021 in solidarity with my friend @freakwiththeknifecollection because it blatantly disregards the canon of 101 dalmatians 1961 and they couldn’t even like?? train the dogs?? for ONE scene?? huge huge mess. i’m just scratching the surface. if you want a live action cruella, look no further than 101 dalmatians 1996. top tier live action that i loved as a kid!!

See now, you sit there and think no one's going to be interested in your original work WIPs, and then here I come stomping in like, "Um, hell yeah I'm interested!" 👀👀👀

I love original stories, and Lord but do I miss working on my own stuff, which I keep shunting aside to work on fanfic instead. (I didn't share that long list of mine in my WIP post because I keep all my own stuff separate from this online identity).

But anyway, the one from your list that caught my eye most was Beyond Humanity. Care to share a little about it??

Oh gosh! An question about my writing stuff? Aaahhh!!!

Ahem. Okay, so first, hello! Thanks for the ask!

Beyond humanity is a story about a human (Relene) and a demon (Thera) who share a body because Relene was at the wrong place at the wrong time, and when Thera was fighting another powerful demon for the control of xir territory, the battle created a portal that sent them to Earth, straight to where Relene was. Despite winning the fight, Thera had to abandon xir body to survive and xir soul chose Relene's body as the most apt (available) vessel. Relene's not exactly happy with this (not that dying from overexposure to magic would have been /nice/), especially when she's told that when Thera eventually recovers enough to recreate xir body, xe would destroy *hers* on the way out.

The story follows as Thera is found and attacked by other demons that try to use the chance xe is limited by Relene's body to finally eliminate xim for good (which would erase all claims xe has to xir territory, leaving it available for other demons), and how Relene uses those chances to try to evolve her human soul by absorbing Thera's magic and developing her own, so she can survive their separation.

Oh! There's also Carmela (Relene's sister) who is trying to figure out what's wrong with her sister, much to Relene's dismay, since she doesn't want her getting in a situation similar to her own (much less straight up dying) if she catches her in the middle of a demon fight.

And that's Beyond Humanity's concept! The actual doc is a bit of scattered writing, but I do like a few of the sentences I have there, mainly this bit:

The truth was her burden and her solace. If she wanted to get rid of the first, she'd lose the second too. Equivalent exchange was a bitch like that.

“you got me something else? what is it?” you say excitedly. you’re thinking it’s another beautiful necklace but when he pulls out a box, your heart is soaring right now. “so I got you a little ring” he says and you’re excited to see this “little” ring because knowing him, the ring probably isn’t little at all and when he opens the box, you’re right.

the ring is a diamond heart shaped ring, made out of real silver and actual diamonds. it almost looks like a wedding ring, i mean, he couldn’t really be gifting you this as a promise ring? it’s too expensive to be a promise ring but then again, this is jeon jungkook we’re talking about. his laidback clothes are even designer so this probably isn’t a lot to him.

he takes your left hand and slides it on your finger and jesus christ, you’re in shock. the ring is beautiful and you don’t know what to say. you want him to take it back and buy you a ring pop instead because this is too much. he watches you celebrate with sad eyes because he wants to pop the big question. he wants you to be his wife but he’s scared. really scared…

“oh my gosh, kookie. this is…i love it! i love this, i love you so much! come here!” you say getting on top of him and kissing him on his cheek over and over and over. “i’m never going to take it off. ever” you say while holding your hand up and looking at the fitted ring. “aaahhh, i can’t wait to show my mom. she’s gonna be so happy. now she’s REALLY gonna bug us about grandchildren. it looks like a wedding ring” you watch the diamonds twinkle no matter what angle you hold your hand up at.

“congratulations, now i’m REALLY gonna stuck with you like glue. i’m not going anywhere” you say while climbing on his lap and when you do straddle him, you notice he looks a bit sad. you wrap your arms around his neck and pout a little “what’s wrong? is it your dad? i told you, just…”

“is it something else? c’mon tell me~ tell me what it is so i can make it all better”

“I just wanted to ask you about something else too but I’m really glad that you love the ring.. I really wanted to gift you something really special and after searching for so many hours I liked this one..” he smiles, his hands on your hips.

You’re so close to him and you can probably tell that something is going on in his head, “y-yn it’s not about my dad..” he sighs. And then he smiles again, because he doesn’t want to tell you the truth yet.

“do you have any fantasies about your future husband? What kind of a guy do you want? How do you want him to be like?” he’s so curious about your preferences and what kind of a life partner you fantasize about having.

He smiles as you mention your mother, even though the thought of giving her grandchildren gets him a little over the edge, but it doesn’t scare him as much as it used to.

“ tell me everything tell me about your ideal type what kind of a husband do you want? How do you want him to love you everything I need to know everything!” His eyes are sparkling. He’s sure because he’s so curious right now.

He wants to become the best man for you, and then he will be able to marry you, because you only deserve the best.

“do not leave a single detail out.” He pecks your lips. “and I want you to be stuck with me forever..”

Okay I'm DEEPLY curious about the OCs you told me about, are they part of an original story you're working on? If so, will you tell me about it?

Oh. My. Gosh. AAAHHH you just made my day!!!! Ok, so originally they were Rangers Apprentice OC's but after developing them further I decided I wanted it to be just a regular generic medieval setting so I had more creative freedom for magic and stuff. There isn't really any big over arching plot, instead it's more a slice of life style story with a few adventures here and there. Ideally this would be in webcomic format, but my art skills are limited so unless I find someone to commision, it'll probably never happen. I have a super rough outline written up for kind of an introductory adventure, just something to bring the different characters together and help the audience get to know them. But that'll need some rewriting since it's no longer in the Ranger's Apprentice universe and one of the characters, Leah, is an undercover ranger. I'd be happy to share what I've got on that first adventure with you even though I haven’t quite written it out of the Ranger's Apprentice world yet.

As for world building, that's at a pretty big 0 at the moment ngl. I don't even have kingdom names 😅.

So this intro adventure is all from Blithe's perspective and most things are revealed to the audience as they are revealed to Blithe. But when it comes to the outline and explaining the plot it's easier to tell it from Chris's POV. So here's a super brief rundown of what's gonna go down.

Chris is sure the northern princess is being abused by her father. He wants to help but doesn’t know how and can’t ask anyone in his kingdom for help because they wouldn’t dare risk angering the stronger kingdom. Then he happens upon Blithe and helps him stitch up Beast after a nasty run in with some rock throwing kids. They become friends (Chris leaving out the fact that he's the prince) and Blithe insists he owes Chris a favor. Chris asks Blithe to teach him how someone would go about cheating on a bet or a game of cards or something like that. So Blithe teaches him a few techniques, though he can't imagine what a mild mannered guy like Chris would want with this information. Using Blithe’s techniques the prince is able to trick the king into betting his daughter into slavery. But of course, instead of keeping the princes as a slave, the prince gives her a house safe in the city and does all he can to help her. Through his service he begins to fall in love with her.

Meanwhile, Chris had run up to Blithe one afternoon whooping at the top of his voice that "It worked! It worked!" and swore to repay Blithe for his help. This repayment came in the form of giving Blithe a room in the castle and a job as the court jester which in turn resulted in revealing that he's a prince. But Chris still wouldn't tell him what he needed to bet cheating lessons for. But after over hearing his friend comforting a girl in town, he began piecing things together. After Chris leaves Blithe introduces himself and strikes up conversation with the girl. He gets her to open up and she tells him that Chris had helped her out of a very bad home life (omitting the small detail that she's a princess and Chris is a prince) and was now trying to court her. She confessed that while she was incredibly grateful, she didn't feel the same way about Chris but was going along with his attempts to court her because she feared Chris would think she was ungrateful, or worse, send her back the her father if she didn't return his feelings.

So curently, Blithe thinks Chris used his tactics to cheat a bad father on a bet in order to save the man's daughter and Chris fell in love with said daughter but kept it quite cause. He was a little confused as to why Chris refused to tell him all this himself and why the girl seemed to still be ommiting details and spoke as though she also didn't know Chris was royalty... Soooo, tired of all this confusion and secresy he goes to his friend Leah (Leah is the maid that attends to his room), hoping to make sense of it all. He tells Leah everything to hear her thoughts on it, but plot twist!

Let's switch to the northern kingdom real quick for this next part. The prince of the north returns home from his travels only to find that his father has sold his little sister into slavery. Fiuriose, he kills his father and takes the throne then reaches out to Araluen, whom they have an aliance with, and calls in a favor. Bring home the esnlaved princess. Leah was sent to Chris's kingdom to locate the princess and report back. So she went undercover as a maid in the castle, assuming the princess would be kept as a scullery maid or something in the castle. Buuuut thanks to Blithe, she now knows the princess is living in the city.

So thanks to Blithe, everyone’s cover is blown and drama ensues. In the end the choice is up to the princess, who chooses to go home with her brother and live a quiet life as a commoner in her kingdom. In gratitude the northern prince makes an alliance with the smaller kingdom (which was greatly needed. Leah of course, leaves back to Araluen, leaving many regrets and shattered trust behind.

That was probably WAY more information then you wanted, and as you can tell it's lacking in many details and needs to be tweaked, but I couldn't help it 😅. Thanks for being intrested!

I understand you asked for headcanon, but I had a crazy idea that probably isn't canon to the main story that might tickle your interest anyway.

Let's say the Survivors who happen to have a Hunter form will involuntarily change into that form whenever they're summoned to a game on the Hunter side and are stuck like that until they're summoned to a game on the survivor side.

This, of course, leads to Norton being stuck as a giant rock person against his will and all the inconveniences that brings. Like hitting his head against the doorframe so hard it cracks the wall, or having all the silverware go flying towards you at high speeds because you're made of magnetic rocks. I imagine Norton would hate this a lot. Perhaps even worry about possibly being trapped in his Hunter form permanently, being too inhuman and monstrous to live a normal life, much less enjoy any of the money he gets paid.

Wonder how this would work for Alice x Norton? I mean, I can see this turning into a Beauty and the Beast scenario, but I know we can go further into detail.

Oh my GOSH he would hate it SO MUCH! Especially when walking past survivors and there being this unease in the air even with those he considered as closer comrades. It would feel SO BAD. And then not knowing how to control this form sometimes with trying to pick up things and accidently breaking them. I wouldn't be surprised if he pops and punches a table in half on accident in a short fit of frustration. Then quickly needing to leave the room cause everyone is staring. Some survivors trying to continue to cohabitate with him but things like this keep happening and AH him just deciding to completely isolate himself cause it all is too much AH

Alice I believe would be one of those who would keep bothering him even though he is trying to isolate. Continuing to bring food to him (does he even need food anymore? cause rock tummy and all lol); continuing to try and have conversation with him, despite his efforts to push her away. She is too caring to give up on something, in this case, someone who is obviously hurting AAAHHH

truly i mean. oh my gosh. one scene i always default to being utterly insane about is the adam and lumiere hug, which i made a whole post about here.

i very much adore when adam and belle are talking and teasing each other out in the garden, and then they go to paris, partly because it adds SOOOOO much more depth to their relationship and you can really see that they’re besties, and also because i love belle’s parents’ backstory and it breaks my heart and i’m insane about them too 🥺💔

i love the dance of course. it’s just. it’s. IT’S THE DANCE. they make me CRAZY.

i love every moment of maurice as a character. besides adam and belle he’s definitely my favorite and i think about him a lot in a blorbo way lmao. (very open to questions about him 🤲)

i LOVE!!!!!! ALL OF IT!!!!!!!! AAAAHHHHH. i love the prologue so so so much i love that they actually show it and you get to see how awful adam was. i’m obsessed with the way dan played him. the way he’s dancing with one woman and already looking for the next one to dance with, he literally looks like an animal hunting for his next prey.

i love all the music and the singing and dancing and COLORS and AESTHETICS and i love the staff and their silliness and sadness and i just !!! oh my gosh i just love it all so much. that movie is everything to me truly. which i know we all KNOW but it’s just like!!!!! AAAHHH!!!!!!! :))))

i love love love love the library scene when belle makes that little excited noise because she’s just so cute and excited and HAS NEVER SEEN SO MANY BOOKS AT ONCE!!!!!!!! and watching adam and belle become friends and fall so desperately in love without even trying. their love story is just so effortless to me. like yes there is work involved but it’s just so. meant to be. i love this gifset a lot because AAHH :”) meeting was fate!! becoming friends was a choice!! FALLING IN LOVE WAS BEYOND THEIR CONTROL!!!!!! i love i adore 😭💖

Yes! I love you so much for dragging Nanami back to Earth from celestia . During the short time he showed up I was like verbally squealing while reading in my head. His presence legit made having Rie and YN's mom in the office a lot easier. Bungo Stray Dogs - Season 2 A highly unconvincing "I like the anime a ~normal~ amount" commentary.

-i'm about to start s2 and i'm giggling like a schoolgirl about to meet her crush. i'm all "I MISSED YOU, DAZAI!" i finished s1 yesterday. THERE WAS NO TIME TO MISS NO DAZAI! and yet.

-i already thought we were on the saddest ep so far, with dazai saying he loses everything he wants, but then the kids got blown off and... yeah. we're in the dark timeline. i came out here to have fun and...

-ranpo?? bumping into oda?? i was not expecting that.

-aha aha ha, bungo stray dogs, so whimsical, then why am i crying...

-and then dazai fulfilled his "i want to help people" goal and found friends :'). so lil bb has been with the agency two-ish years. okay. okay. i love dazai. okay.

-i'm glad the ending titles are keeping the theme of dazai tenderly touching his people

-i can't believe i'm saying this, but i feel bad for akutagawa. he needs help. like in life.

-this is the most intensely i've binge-watched something in a long time. and i don't binge-watch, i need breathers. but no. it's dazai et al or nothing.

-lol the agency in the opening: more or less normal. kenji-kun: holding a street sign. as you do.

-ABILITY: CRIME AND PUNISHMENT AKSFJNJKSSG I AM EXCITED (also the fact that dostoyevsky's va is ayato and luocha's va, does not compute)

-I LOVE SEASON 2 SO MUCH :"))) It’s just proof of how a story can be serious and violent and dark and still have a fundamentally feel-good vibe. misleadingly feel-good that is, ‘cause once you take a moment to take in what’s happening, it’s more like, “DERANGED! EVERYONE IS DERANGED!” but in a feel-good way.

-i really like that people stay in the story. that they're not one-off antagonists/allies.

-I wish wish wish i were familiar with more of the actual authors. i don’t think it takes away from the enjoyment if you don’t know them, but when you do know them, the references are like easter eggs and it’s delightful.
