Me: ohhh yes. They def had a support system. As if el wasn’t in the lab for years with her abusers constantly hurting her. And her knowing that she wasn’t even valuable besides her powers. And knowing that people will exploit her at every turn. El getting help once in her life in the lab and then gets betrayed and has to see everyone dead around her and get traumatized so bad that she doesn’t even remember it. El not knowing anything about the outside world for about 11 years of her life. But apparently cuz el found friends (which she wouldn’t have even done if she didn’t get herself out of the lab) that means that she always had a support system. Ohhhh yes Jonathan def had a support system (sarcastic). The same person who had no friends for the majority of his life and had to grow up just so that Will could get an ounce of a nice childhood. Jonathan the person who willingly took on the role to become an adult so that Will could have happiness. Ooohhb yess Will who got called slurs by his own dad and was very heavily bullied in school. To the point that his own bullies were laughing at his funeral and death. And Will who only had three best friends to reach out to.

Ohhhh yess absolutely, they're both so me for real.

First off, I pretty much project all of my own autistic traits onto Jon.

Due to a lot of social isolation throughout his life, he's never quite fully gotten the hang of masking.

He has a very intense autistic stare like 90% of the time, also sometimes he'll not even realize he's staring at someone, although once he does he doesn't really stop because he likes making people uncomfortable. Generally he just tends to make people vaguely uncomfortable, whether he intends to or not.

He hates people touching him. It's just really overwhelming and awful and it takes a while for him to warm up to someone enough to let them touch him for more than a second.

He's not very good at social cues and he's downright awful at interpretting and expressing his own emotions. For a psychiatrist he's pretty out of tune with himself.

He can tend to be obsessive as well, whether that be with his work or with people. He's also got a lot of dissociative tendencies and forgets he's alive for extended periods of time sometimes.

Not all of that is directly related to his autism but it definitely has a big impact on his behavior.

As for Edward, Eddie's had way more experience masking than Jon has. When he was younger he was one of those quiet, scary smart kids that would try to explode you with their mind. He wasn't interested in making friends and focused almost entirely on soaking up information like a sponge.

Later in his childhood he would kinda learn how to blend in a little more to avoid mistreatment, although a lot of his peers just simply couldn't stand him. He isn't very good at recognizing when someone doesn't want advice, or to be educated or corrected, resulting in a lot of people taking him as an insufferable smartass (and like.. he is but at least then he usually doesn't mean to be)

At some point he kinda stops caring that people find him annoying, he doesn't need anyone anyway. He thrives off attention, and if he's holding yours he doesn't care if it's because you want to wring his neck.

He's also a very emotional person, even though he would love to have you think every decision he makes is perfectly rational. He seems to get disproportionately upset about relatively small things. Bigger things will cause him to spiral. He'll throw himself into his work and neglect his own needs for weeks at a time, plagued by questions like itches he can't scratch. That might be more a symptom of his OCD than autism but they tend to go hand in hand.

Edward is also super particular about texture. Anything not quality and smooth,, die. Die forever

And then of course Eddie literally can not sit still for the life of him, he needs to be fidgeting or making noise in some way or he will explode.

It's a bit hard to give any examples of things that are directly related to autism because they have so much shit wrong with them that it all kinda blends together.

i think it'd be a cool plot twist if amanda waz like Admiral Thrawn, only force-sensitive and fully capable of weilding the Dark Saber, and she has to fight Nines and Connor, easily overpowering them until DUN DUN DUN.... queue Hank with Elijah, Amanda's former Padawan and essentially Walmart Anakin but actually smart and able to handle his emotions. And together, the four overpower Amanda and defeat her. They don't kill her, instead she kills herself by stabbing herself in the gut with her own saber, as she'd rather die than betray the Empire.

Carl is a Senator in the senate or works as a diplomat for one of the Inner Rim planets. He does what he can to make sure the Empire doesn't have complete rule over the galaxy's citizens but he recognizes that there's only so much an old man can do for an abandoned democracy. His role becomes like that of Mon Mothma's in Andor. Keeping up a facade of an old and naive man who's actions don't gain much traction in the Senate but is actually supporting the Rebellion and is trying to do his part in reclaiming a free galaxy once again. Once his he hears that his old aide has been spotted working for the Rebellion, his efforts double and he takes a 'personal leave' some time before the completion of the first Death Star and then drops off the grid. Markus worries as he has not heard news of Senator Manfred for some time but his worries are laid to rest when he walks into the hangar one day to find Carl already waiting for him there.

I LOVE the idea of the Jericrew being like the Bad Batch!! That'd be AWESOME!! I picture Markus starting off as a Rebel cell leader and then the bigger and more dangerous their missions become he gains more trust and traction in the Rebellion. Soon enough he becomes one of it's Captains and he has a whole battalion assigned to him. He is Jericho Four - North is the kick-ass muscle of the group. Grew up on the streets and won't hesitate to cut a bitch. North having a story similar to Ventress is super fucking cool and i love that. Don't have much story in mind for her right now, it's still up in the air but im open to suggestions! At one point tho she and Chloe get together. Not sure how. She is Jericho Two -Josh is the tech support. For the most part, grew up in a normal family but experienced the War just like everyone else. Times were hard and he believed that he just had to wait it out and then everything would be better. If only he could hold on a little longer in peace and silent resolute strength, then it would be alright. But he learned the hard way that standing by and doing nothing wasn't going to achieve the changes he wanted to see. He still refuses to pick up a blaster or any weapon really, but is not against self defense. He prefers to offer support and stay out of the line of fire. He is Jericho Three -And Simon is the Jack of All Trades. He has little information here and there about the most random of topics and it's not until later that Markus finds out that he used to be a tutor/study aide for a high class family on Mandalore. Which is how he knows so much stuff. It makes Markus fall in love a little bit more. He is Jericho One

I have no big plans for Todd in this au. At most he'd probably be a side character who pushes the plot forward, somewhere in Kara's story and will probably pop up at one point in Connor's. But again for plot reasons.

Do Connor and Markus meet???.............. .......possibly who's to say??

AND DAAAaaaaammmnnn that'd be one hell of a story! I'd certainly read that!! And my dude, if you got any ideas for a Star Wars au as well i would LOVE to hear it!!
