chex makes my heart hurt because what do you mean when the director copied his consciousness the memory of allison was so strong she came back too. what do you mean church was willing to die as long as he knew tex got to rest too. what do you mean they’re both tired ghosts chasing one another through memories and time.

Legend’s favourite foods are anything with apples and/or honey. i also feel like he goes nuts for any good recipe with vanilla in it, something he shares with Hyrule (+ maybe Wild)
-give him anything with apples + cinnamon and he’s hooked
-apples, cinnamon, and honey??? guess what you’re his new best friend

look ive been getting so caught up in the misogyny of tex but i am always thinking about the scene where church forgets her bc like
the world is already ending. church is 100% positive both he and tex are going to die in there and he is fully prepared for that moment. and so the moment of him forgetting her isn’t actually him erasing her from the narrative or killing her himself to break the cycle or anything like that.
it’s him promising to let her go. to stop bringing her back. to finally let her stay dead and stop dragging her back to a world she doesn’t actually belong in. he’s finally returning her agency to her, by letting the ghost that he has resurrected time and time again finally rest.

After careful thought...
I am now convinced RVB is, in a nutshell at its core, two twenty year long dimetric slowburn romance tropes comprised of viewing each from the lens of 'I'd die for you/I'd live for you' while accounting for the repercussions of those choices on the lives of those around them while also examining at the same time the 'Inability to let go/ever start' and how it ultimately locks your mind in a perpetual state of 'What if?' without taking the risk of DOING all by asking the simple fucking question
Ever wonder why we're here?
