Furfrou Facts

-The scientific name for Furfrou is "Canis Pampus" which translates to "Pampered dog"

-Furfrou is by far one of the most domesticated canines, being specifically bred to live with humans

-There is a breed of Furfrou that was specifically bred to have the longest snout possible. This has led to this specific breeds snout to be 1 foot long. This breed is known as the Sniffer Breed

-Furfrou were specifically bred as show breeds

-Furfrou are very prideful and because of this, are very picky when it comes to choosing their trainers, even outright abandoning them if they don't find them worthy

-Technically, Furfrou has hair, not fur. Fur sheds and falls off, while hair continues growing

-While Kalos's national Pokemon is Sylveon, many people view Furfrou as a secondary national mon to it

-Every year, Kalos has a contest where they will judge Furfrou from around the world. The Furfrou with the most extravagant fur wins

-They tend to be very picky eaters, only wanting to wat the best of foods

-Despite they're dislike of just anyone trimming them, they do need their fur to be trimmed regularly. Nothing major, just like a weekly cut. Leaving it to grow for too long can get it matted and gross

-Its best to get your Furfrou a silk bed since that can protect their fur from damage

-They don't do well with kids since they don't want to be touched by them mostly, especially after being groomed. There are always exceptions however

One of my Godfathers gave you to us before he went overseas because they don't like dogs that much. I vividly remember, you got skin allergies specifically on abdominal area but it was healed through clean baths.

As you grew older, you tend to destroy lots of things that is why Dad decided to put you on a leash. You always got excited whenever he walks you every morning. Strong, playful, and full of energy - some adjectives that people say as they saw you walking and running. Two years after, Dad decided to remove your leash.

Chicken (jabee chicken joy), boiled cassava, boiled sweet plantain were you favorite foods. You love boiled nuts as well and you're good at removing its shell to get the fruit. You have a habit of poking people to get some treats and making unique loud noises whenever you are excited or wants to eat/pee/poo.

Mom and Dad's room were your favorite spot inside the house, while you love to take a pit near mom's plants to create a resting place. You don't like bad smell that is why you always cover your poo and pee with soil. You don't like touching other's food without their permission and you just like wait for your turn.

You always got excited whenever I come home. Sasalubong kahit walang pasalubong. Maybe that is one of your habits that I'm going to miss because I was used to it. I will miss the way you tap your feet, wiggle your cute little tail, small jumps ('cause you're heavy), and make loud noises as I approach the main door.

You've witnessed my greatest heartbreak, college graduation day, the day I passed the boards, and when I got into a job in line with my profession. You were there every stressful moments, anxiety/panic attacks, blissful days, downfalls, celebrations, and victories.

We rushed you to the vet, morning after Christmas because you couldn't stand and cries out loud. They don't have confinement area here in our place that is why you got transferred to the City. Your labs got better after 24 hours that I couldn't help myself to cry because I got a glimpse of hope.

Yesterday, I spent whole day watching you to get better but.. when the time I got home, you already left us. I'm sorry I wasn't there during your last breath. I know that you're used to have me around and I'm really really sorry. I just did what I needed to do. I want you to get better 😭

Thank you for spending a decade of your life with us, Kibong, Kibungal, Kibongki, Kibolangbung, Kibolabyu, Kibong Soon, Tilibong, Bongbong, Kibolbol 🐶 I'm not sure if I would be able to move on. You are the best dog I've ever had apart from Pampu. You guys should enjoy your reunion in Heaven and should play a lot in the Rainbow Bridge. You are forever in my heart.

Little did I know that the unexpected way I got you was the same unforeseen way I'd lose you... Love, you will be forever engraved herein. Never could I have imagined that I would never touch your soft, silky fur—that I will never get to cuddle you, that I would never get my face licked with your silly tongue and your goofy kisses. Never could I have imagined that that day was the very last day I'd have all of that from you. Only if I knew, I would have hugged you tighter, kissed you longer, and told you I love you, silly snowball.

De provincie Noord-Holland verleent een ontheffing voor twee windturbines op forteiland Pampus. Hiermee geeft de provincie gehoor aan het ontheffingsverzoek van de gemeente Gooise Meren. De kleine windturbines van 15 meter hoog maken onderdeel uit van een energiesysteem dat Pampus zelfvoorzienend maakt. Forteiland Pampus zelfvoorzienend maken met energie De gemeente Gooise Meren ondersteunt de verduurzaming van forteiland Pampus en de aanleg van het energiesysteem waar twee windturbines onderdeel van zijn. De windenergieinstructieregels van de Omgevingsverordening NH2020 belemmeren de plaatsing van deze turbines. Reden voor de gemeente om bij de provincie een ontheffing te vragen. De provincie staat positief tegenover de verduurzaming van het eiland. Daarnaast geven het Kwaliteitsteam Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie en de Rijksdienst voor het Cultureel Erfgoed aan dat het plan de kernkwaliteiten van het werelderfgoed niet aantast. De provincie ziet daarom geen reden om het verzoek van de gemeente af te wijzen. Duurzame energieopwekking Sinds de oplevering in 1895 staat het fort los van wal en wordt elektriciteit opgewekt met dieselaggregaten. Na verwerving heeft Stichting Forteiland het eiland ingericht en wordt het jaarlijks bezocht door zo'n 100.000 belangstellenden en recreanten. Om de groeiende stroom belangstellenden en recreanten te kunnen blijven ontvangen, zonder grote nadelige gevolgen voor het milieu, is het noodzakelijk over te stappen op duurzame energieopwekking. Er is een energiesysteem ontwikkeld dat gebruik maakt van zonne-energie, windenergie en bio-vergisting. De plaatsing van de twee windturbines met een masthoogte van 15 meter en een tiphoogte van 22 meter is volgens de Stichting noodzakelijk om op koude en donkere dagen voldoende elektriciteit te kunnen opwekken.
