remember, if you have leftover bread, you can just rip it up into little chunks and fry it in a pan with some olive oil or butter for breakfast. Once the bread is browned to your specifications, just toss in some beaten eggs and scramble them up with the bread.

I generally fry up some tomatoes or mushrooms with it, too

#it works best with like grocery store italian bread or baguette #but really whatever you feel like #croutons aren't just for salad! #put them in your scramble eggs or soups #put them on your pasta! #on top of your mac and cheese

ugh i am so hungry and i don't want to go to the grocery store and we do have food at home but i'm worried i'll be doing something wrong if i don't go, like wasting the Home Food, or failing to prepare for 🌸 to have dinner when they get off of work. but i'm so tired that my brain has stopped working and i can't get off the couch because i'd need to use willpower and abstract thought to get off the couch.

Came home from travel and immediately started prepping tomato sauce, 2 lbs of dried beans, and 2 loaves of bread. Tradwife-coded.

#the tomato sauce is an important base to so many things i like! #pizza pasta soup sloppy joe lentils im probably forgetting more #beans are lima and corona and are gonna become uhhh #marinated bean salad and 'refried beans' and then probably a little soup #and one of the bread loaves is for my parents #im trying to get them to stop buying grocery store baguettes #which they eat about one ounce of and then it languishes in the pantry all week #EVERY FUCKING WEEK #they always always always have a slightly moldy baguette hanging out like a couch-surfing relative
