Someone's probably already posted it before, but here is Alan Alda doing a cartwheel at the 1979 Emmys.

Props to Craig Pelton for literally screaming and saying " I don't fit in a box, and it doesn't matter to me" Representation for everyone who doesn't wanna be in a box

i think the thing that bothers me most about the ideas that hawkeye doesn’t do well after the war is that i think it goes against hawkeye’s entire thesis as a character . because , at least to me , the most notable thing about hawkeye is his resilience . over and over again hawk hits rock bottom , and every time he gets himself to GET UP GET UP GET UP even if , especially if, it’s not fair , even if it KILLS him . even in his lowest point in the whole show , when he feels like he doesn’t have anyone on his side , he’s still insistent that he WILL get out of it . i’ve heard people complain about how hawkeye is sensitive and how he doesn’t really change throughout the entirety of the show , but what is that if not the point ? anything and everything in hawkeye’s situation can kick him as far down as it wants but that man will gladly drag himself foot by foot and inch by inch out of hell than let himself be beat by it even if he has to do it all by himself

eiffel has low pain tolerance and he would say he'd do just about anything to avoid it, but if you put him in that experiment where he could either press a button to give himself an electrical shock or sit alone and do nothing for fifteen minutes, he would press it. and he would press it again. and he would exclaim and whimper and whine about it, and every time he would be like, okay, i'm not doing that again. but he would still opt for an unpleasant form of stimulation over no stimulation at all. there is nothing he wants less than to be alone with his thoughts. and that's the source of a lot of his problems.

Another Adam! The crop seen here is from the (now scrapped) original version, but I have another version on the way with alternate line art, colors, and an actual background in its stead! Perhaps in a few days?
