- The first time you ask to listen to a bedtime story, he's kind of shocked. Not in a bad way though, just surprised.

-> "eh?" His eyes widened, head tilting to the side and his lips pursing. He would hum and look around your room before shrugging. "I suppose I can read you one?" As you heard him say those words you nodded happily. He chuckles at the way you nod. "Okay, okay"

Outside, he's calm and composed, but on the inside, he's going crazy. He's screaming "oh my god" and "is this really happening right now?" Multiple times in his head, really happy that you initiated something.

As he reads the story, Ike would start to become more calm, savoring the interested face you were making as he read it. In addition to that, he would most definitely smile, either from seeing your sleepy face or exited face.

- Ike would definitely be the type to read it out really slowly, instead of mimicking the emotions too much, he would definitely read with a really gentle and soft voice, which you will definitely fall asleep to.

- And sometimes, depending on the story, he will slowly pat you on the head as he looks at your happy face while listening to him.

-> Your eyes start to flutter as you fall asleep. Ike, who had been looking at the book for about a minute, looks up to you and smiles softly. "Good night darling" he says as he kisses your forehead, slowly closing the book and leaving the room, being as quiet as possible as to not wake you up.

LUCA KANESHIRO

- This guy is almost the complete opposite of Ike, instead of being confused, or even thinking, Luca simply agrees and runs out to get a book.

-> "you want me to read you a bedtime story? Sure!" And before you could say anything, he immediately ran out with great speed, leaving you in the dimly lighted room alone. "Eh?" You mumble, not sure on what he was going to do.

After a few seconds of being left alone, you suddenly hear quick steps going towards your room. You turned your head towards the door and immediately, Luca was Infront of you. "hi! I got you this book!" He giggles, excitedly flipping through the pages of the book.

- Even when you were the one asking for a story, he would seem to be the one more excited. The second he's Infront of you again, he opens the book and flips through the pages, showing you all the illustrations, even almost spoiling the ending for you.

- Luca would most definitely use different voices for each character, especially if he sees a blonde girl. He'd definitely start talking like Lucy with a little more flair.

- Luca would smile as he sees you laugh or chuckle at his different impressions. When he sees you laugh and smile, he's suddenly reminded of just how much he loves you and would randomly hug you.

-> "(Name), I love you very much" he says as his big arms wrap around you. You were a little surprised at the sudden confession, but still accepted his hug and hugged back. "I love you too darling" you respond, a hand behind Luca's head, patting his head.

When Luca sees you already asleep, he smiles and slowly gets up, not forgetting to quietly close the book. Before he goes out of the room, he would contemplates if he should kiss you goodnight or not, as it might wake you up.

"Ah, whatever!" He says as he kisses your forehead and slowly goes out of the room.

SHU YAMINO

- Shu would be surprised, but in a good way, you know? Like he's surprised that you would ask that, after all, you're quite the mature person.

- When he hears your request he would smile softly and pat your head, tell you to sit on the bed and wait.

- While you wait, he might give you a drink, like milk or anything of that sort to keep you busy while he searches for the book.

-> "while you wait, here's a glass of milk, we need you to sleep after all, we can't have you awake after all the story can we?" Shu says as he shows you a smile. You nod enthusiastically and smile back.

As you laid back on your bed, you can see him slowly walk away while scanning the room. His steps slowly fade as his silhouette also starts to disappear from your sight.

As you took a sip from your mug of milk, you can feel every drop of it warming you up and calming you a little. And slowly, you could hear shu's footsteps come back.

- When he starts reading, you're already tucked in bed, making you feel warm and cozy.

- Instead of being too in character or being really soft, I feel like shu would place somewhere in the middle, in a sense that he still "talks" as the character, but isn't as into it as Luca would be.

- He would definitely be very aware of your expressions, again, in a good way! He'd try to make sure that you enjoy your storytime as much as you can!

When he's done reading, he would slowly put the book down and try to get a good look at you, making sure you're asleep before tucking you in more and going out of the room slowly, not forgetting to close the lights.

VOX AKUMA

- If you ever ask for a bedtime story, Vox is definitely your to go guy. This man is happy af. If you compare this man to when he works, it's as if he's a completely different person.

- Vox would basically be screaming just from his face. He's so happy that he might just start jumping around like a small child.

-> "really!?" Vox squeals like a little girl, his eyes seemingly popping out of it's sockets. Realizing his actions, he stops and clears his throat.

"I'm sorry, I meant really? You'd let me read a story for you?" He tries to sound more professional, but from his face, anyone could clearly tell he was exited to tell the story to you.

- Vox is definitely a luca-type guy. He would be so into character that he'd always start acting like the character, even when it's not their lines.

- Sometimes though, he would stop when he hears you chuckle, snicker, or laugh at his words and gestures. Because as long as you're happy, he's happy.

- He's glad that you enjoy listening to him acting out characters and reading you lines.

- When you start to fall asleep and your eyelids start to droop, he would take a look at you and smile softly.

- And when you finally fall asleep, he's already beside your bed, his hands softly fixing the position of your blanket.

- But ofcourse, he wouldn't forget giving you a goodnight kiss before he goes out of your room. He goes near your head and places a small kiss on your forehead and smile.

"Goodnight dear, hope you have good dreams." He would say and slowly back out of the room.

Nerissa Marinus is the youngest daughter of the 'Old Man of the Sea' Nereus and the Oceanid Doris, sister to the fifty (there's definitely more than that) nereids and Nerites. She is famous for her cute, child-like appearance, bright presence, and powerful magical abilities, earning the name 'Hime' from her family.

Despite living far, far longer than most humans, she still retains her innocence, kindness, and curious-like nature. She loves to explore the seven seas, create mischief every now and then, sing and dance with her siblings, and play with the other inhabitants within the ocean, especially with a certain tropical mermaid she calls her 'Onee-san'.

Being the youngest daughter of her family, she was treated like royalty. Fragile. Ready to be broken if touched just once. She hated that. No, she was not going to consult an evil sea witch for help! She may be naive at times and young in human years, but she wasn't a dummy.

After leaving a note where she knew her family will look first, she grabbed the one thing that reminded her of home — her necklace — and quickly swam to where her friend has gone to, never looking back once. The closer she swam to the surface, the more excited she became.

The moment her head was completely out of the salty sea water, she felt as if she was exploring the Pacific Ocean all over again. But times that feeling by like hundred. Just by looking around her, she knew she was going to like this new place. She couldn't wait to meet the humans and make new friends!

The surface may have its downsides, but this little jellyfish is ready to take on anything the surface has in store for. She just needed to find her tropical friend first.

The name Nerissa is a girl's name of Greek Origin meaning "sea nymph" or "from the sea".

Nerissa is the only sea nymph of her family that is part jellyfish. Why is she part jellyfish instead of part mermaid like her siblings remains a mystery to this day.

The piece of jewelry around her neck was given to her by her parents on the day of her birth.

Unlike other jellyfishes, she can feel pain in the same way that humans would. She does possess a brain, a heart, bones, and a respiratory system.

She was born with the bell — the umbrella-like dome — floating above her head, symbolizing her jellyfish side. She would later add seashell clips with a ribbon attached to her bell as she found the clips and the design on the ribbons adorable.

Nerissa could make her bell disappear whenever she wanted by using magic. She does this when she sleeps, although there are times where she forgets to do that and the bell continues floating above her sleeping form.

She is bioluminescent. If she focused hard enough, her whole body will begin to glow, but this will tire her out quickly. Fortunately, her bell is also bioluminescent and it doesn't drain her of her energy, so it's a perfect lamp/night light!

"Uhh, daddy doesn't really know sweetpie, maybe for the wood?" Luca mumbled, the movie genuinely confusing him to no end, he wasn't focused on it, but was rather excited to annoy vox.

The girl hummed softly deeply in thought, her small mind trying to piece together why the man cut so many trees down.

"At daycare, teacher told us to not harm plants, because they get sad, poor trees" the girl pouted gently, rubbing her eyes, starting to feel slightly sleepy.

"You know what, forget about the lorax, wanna go eat ice cream without Noddy knowing?" Luca asked with a smirk a wide grin forming on his face, the mention of ice cream made the girl in his lap perk up visibly happier now.

"Nah, daddy will use his endless charm to make them happy" Luca said a grin on his lips as he got up holding his girl close, as he moved to the kitchen grabbed a tub of ice cream and spoons, sitting back down on the couch and starting to eat with his girl, switching tv to something more exciting as they enjoyed their ice cream happily.

•shu is the type to know all the essentials of taking care of a child but never truly knows how much work goes into it, which made him sort of think that it's easy.

•he was quite nervous to say the least, he held his small baby boy close, feeling the warmth radiating from the small baby wrapped in a blanket, the baby moved his hands around stretching slightly with a small whine.

•shu rubbed the baby's back gently, his eyebrows furrowing slightly, lips pursing slightly, the baby opened his big magenta coloured eyes, staring up at shu's face eyebrows slightly furrowed and lips pursing into a small pout.

•shu knew the baby probably couldn't see, but he was still amazed and subconsciously his lips moved into a slight wobbly smile at the small child, who's features relaxed into a small smile when shu kissed his head.

•even now he still thinks parenting is somewhat easy, and knows it's probably because of how shy and compliant his son is.

•he never truly understood how you can love someone so much that you would risk everything for them, until he met his partner and met his own bundle of joy.

•he definitely isn't the type to spoil his kid, but gets the boy whatever he wants, definitely teaches him how to play videogames, and teaches him only the best jokes.

Shu was sitting on his gaming chair, his 7 year old son sitting on his lap, wearing purple headphones that looked too big on his head, The boy's palm rested on the mouse, shu's palm resting over his, moving the mouse.

"Yess, good job bud, we got 'em" shu cheered, giving the boy a high-five and ruffling his hair.

"Papa! Did you see! I got both uncle Alban and uncle sonny!" The boy bounced happily smiling widely, shu nodded proudly placing his palm on the boy's gently gently, the boy chuckled before turning to look at the screen again, shu placing his larger palm over the boy's.

"Now we just gotta get Luca cornered, and boom! Shoot him with the eggs" shu explained, the boy nodding quickly eyes focused on the screen Infront of them.

They were playing Minecraft peacefully collecting things, when Luca suddenly decided to start an egg war, and shu being the amazing father he is decided to include his son in said war.

They had just killed both Alban and sonny, who somehow managed to get themselves killed by eggs, and the only one left was Luca who was cackling evily in VC Alban and sonny laughing in the background.

"You just got beat by a 7 year old Luca who does it feel?" Alban laughed, sonny chuckling softly and throwing some flowers in the air.

"Unpog" Luca whined, moving to start hitting the endless amount of baby chickens.

"Time to put these chickens somewhere safe" shu hummed his nod nodding his head quickly while moving to place his palm once more on the mouse, shu smiling softly at him and placing his palm over his son's.

• Ike likes children, doesn't specifically love them, especially at their age of craziness, but doesn't hate them either, thinks small babies are cute though.

• he never understood baby fever, until he had his first kid and held her for the first time, his girl with his bright yellow eyes and his partner's hair colour and the biggest smile he ever saw in his life.

• scratch everything I just said, Ike loves babies, they're so cute and small, and cuddly, they're a little stinky sometimes a bit whiny but when his little girl looks up at him with the biggest eyes and pout, he forgets everything he was just saying.

• is definitely the type of dad to cry whenever he sees his kid in cute clothes, definitely buys her Miku themed clothes.

• whenever he has the chance to brush his girl's hair he puts it into two ponytails, just melts every single time.

• he's the one that puts her to sleep, reads a bedtime story while laying next to her, covers her in her soft blanket and kisses her forehead gently.

His 5 year old girl laid down next to him, her head resting on Ike's arm, covered in a soft white blanket, her short hair pulled into a small bun, as to not bother her while sleeping.

"And the princess said 'thank you dear knight, for saving me and my kingdom' as she smiles gently at the knight" ike read in a soothing voice, his girl laying down next to him with sleepy eyes, looking at the book in his hands, the illustration of the knight bowed to the princess as she smiled at him.

"Papa, can Mobby be the princess and you the Knight" the girl mumbled sleepily against Ike's arm, looking up at him with heavy eyes.

"Of course sweetheart, well I wouldn't really say I would be the knight your Mobby can be a very convincing knight" Ike chuckled lowly smiling at his daughter who hummed in agreement and giggled.

"Mobby's so strong, papa is too but Mobby's better at it" the girl mumbled softly going back to looking at the book, imagining if Ike was the prince with a blue suit, her mobby the knight in shining armor smiling at the prince.

"The knight said 'it is only my duty, my lady, I shall live to serve and protect you till my last breath' as he bowed down on one knee" ike continued reading gently, heavy, sleepy eyes starting to shut slowly.

"You'd be a pretty princess papa" the girl whispered gently breath evening out, and eyes shut as she falls into deep slumber.

Ike smiled gently closing the book and placing it away, moving to rest the small girl fully on her bed, covering her in her soft blanket, kissing her forehead gently.

"Goodnight my sweet, rest well" Ike whispered gently getting off her bed and moving outside the room with a happy smile on his face.

• vox loves kids, they're cute, easy to annoy, fun to feed, and have really funny brains.

• he never really thought he would have one of his own until he had his son, the first time he held the small boy, the boy started looking up at him with big pink eyes, vox smiled at him, the boy's lips started to quiver as a sharp cry left his small lips, vox frowning as he tried to shush the boy gently, the boy crying harder.

Vox sat on the couch his arms crossed, across from him sat a certain 7 year old boy, with soft long black hair that reached his shoulder and soft pink eyes, his lips were pursed into a pout as he sat on the floor his arms crossed.

Vox's significant other had to go shopping and decided that it would be a bright idea to get vox to watch their son while they were gone, since the boy was very much on edge whenever he got near vox lately more than usual.

Vox and his son had sat across from each other in awkward silence for about 5 minutes, vox was thinking of what to say to the pouty boy, sighing heavily before getting up to sit infornt of the boy.

"So what's the matter little guy" vox asked with a raised eyebrow looking at the boy with a soft gaze, the boy's pout grew even more as he continued to look down.

"Why did dad do to make you so upset" vox asked softly moving to pick up the boy and place him inn his lap, rubbing his back gently.

"Nothing" the boy mumbled softly looking down and twiddling his fingers, looking slightly tense, vox ruffled his soft hair and kissed his forehead.

"Come on, tell your old man what he did wrong, I promise to not do it again and apologize" vox asked, softly rubbing the boy's back.

The boy took a deep breath before moving to look up at vox with big watery eyes, vox tensing up and gripping the boy gently to reassure him.

"You hurt Dama" the boy mumbled softly, vox blinking at him slowly, so apparently his son thinks he hurt his partner.

"When?" Vox asked with a slight tilt of his head, the small boy swallowing lips quivering slightly.

"You ripped Dama's stomach open to get me out" the boy pouted starting to sniffle softly, vox's mouth was open in shock as he started to chuckle and gave the boy a hug.

"Of course not boy, I would never do that, who told you that?" Vox asked with a chuckle, the boy blinking away his tears and hugging vox back as he thought.

"My friend in school" the boy mumbles softly, vox gave him another hug, ruffling his hair gently and explaining that people at the hospital do that and that no one ripped his Dama's stomach open.

Since then vox and his son's relationship got better, vox still thinks it's the funniest thing ever, and now father and son are somehow closer than ever, but as we all know the boy's favourite is still his Dama.

this guy… easily the worst of both units at bug duty. you might just have to take the bullet

he gets sketched out by even the cute ones like butterflies and ladybugs if he looks at them for too long. there’s no way he could even take a moth with a level head

he even reacts to all of them the same. “AAAAH! T-t-there’s a [BUG NAME] in [room name]!”

even so he tries to be nice to them with a cup and paper, or some other method to get them out of his space

unfortunately australian wildlife has prepared him so smaller bugs are still scary but he’ll be a big scared scary mafia boss and take action

and everyone says they’ll leave the house as a joke if they can’t find the spider but it’s luca. there is a solid chance that he will invite you to stay with him in one of the kaneshiro vacation homes for about three days. that’s enough time for the bugs to leave, right?

is rather delighted at bug!

honestly if it’s a cool bug he might just take a video of it doing its thing and give it a personality!

he has a out-of-sight, out-of-mind philosophy with bugs. he’s fine with just about anything as long as they aren't annoying

harmful pests will get swatted tho ofc

everything else, he’s fine with bringing outside himself without much fanfare

some of them are a little creepy but he tries to rationalize it. they’re just tiny animals and he’s a big strong sorcerer, it’s fine. what are they gonna do, infest him to death?

…he’s going to spray the house down later just to be sure.

a wild card. and also VERY emotionally invested in any bugs that come his way whether that’s good or bad

if they manage to sneak up on him he’ll probably yell “WOAH” or curse out of surprise, then figure out whether he should be scared or not

surprisingly fine with the nastiest of them. he actually loves worms, centipedes and similar critters, and he’ll even admire them if they stumble into his territory

“look reader this is me if i were a worm. would you still love me if i was a worm 🥺” “vox please just get that thing outside”

spiders have a 50-50 survival chance. he’ll kill small spiders but bring the big ones outside because the big ones are like full Animals to him and slaughtering animals is not something he can bring himself to do (tiny ones don’t count)

are scorpions bugs? do they count? either way that’s his one objection. he wouldn’t touch them with a ten foot pole if he had the choice, but if you’re really that scared, then he’ll put on a brave face and hide his fear

if he’s going to take care of a bug you need to make peace with the fact that he will whine the entire time

show him a spider or something else just as creepy and he will actually scream

and yell as he fumbles around to take care of it

and yell as he eventually grabs it with his hands (he’s panicking a little too hard to get a tool)

and yell as he tries to open the door and throw it outside

this is assuming he doesn’t find a slipper nearby. if he has a tissue or something he’ll smash the bug over and over until it’s pulverized

and he’ll STILL be yelling while he does that

he’s not a 6/10 because he dislikes bugs. he’s neutral towards them, not really creeped out by them but not a fan either

he’s a 6/10 because he’s a dick about taking care of them for you

here’s how it usually goes: you summon him to save you from a creepy crawly. he’ll inspect it and go “really, you’re scared of that little thing? look at it closer, it’s just a bug”

and once he quits fooling around he just swipes it up. his fingers are solid steel which allows for Precise Bug Snatching

but he’ll act unsure and go “i think i got it. here, reader, look inside my hand and tell me if you see it”

or even the dreaded move where he pretends he’s bringing the bug closer to you so you have to see it

and THEN once he’s outside he’ll open his hands and go “wait i think i lost it” just to get a rise out of you until he confirms yes, it’s safe and out of the house

if you’re legitimately terrified then he doesn’t even bother with the jokes. just point out the bug and close your eyes, and he’ll be washing his hands while you stare back at a smudge on the wall before you can even get out a sentence

somehow both a gentle soul and a complete menace

he's very matter-of-fact when you point them out. "it's just a little jumping spider, no big deal ¯\_(ツ)_/¯"

in fact he's almost adorable with how he quietly talks to the bugs and coaxes them to crawl on his hand so he can get them out of your way

and then he prods and begs you to take a picture of the bug bc it's a cool little guy

surprisingly knowledgeable and can identify bugs easily, so once he's got one in his hands he'll show it to you and tell you some facts about it

which is very sweet except for the fact that it's still a nasty bug and you want it out of your face!

he'll lightly tease you over being so scared of a little bug while he takes them outside. and if it's a pest-eater like a spider he'll hide it in a dark corner out of your sight

overall very kind to bugs and thinks they're friendly

which is why it throws you so hard that sometimes after he coos over them he just FUCKING SMASHES THEM IN HIS PALM?

it's like watching a cat hunt an unaware mouse. he's so quick about it

and he's so good at it too?? he'll find the bug, swat it, and throw the remains away in less than a minute on a good day

doesn't even act like it's a big deal either, he just goes back to what he was doing before you asked for help

he uses tissues or shoes on the big ones like roaches, but anything small, he's surprisingly good at crushing them with his bare hands. this is especially funny when he has acrylics on bc those nails never get dirty nor in the way

spiders get the relocation pass, and he'll insist they stay inside, just out of sight

non-zero chance if you complain about it, he'll go on a lecture about how spiders are how you prevent other pests from invading the house

honestly you only see this side of uki once. the bugs are too scared to show their faces after this stint

Bedtime routine:

Always has a cup of sleepy time tea before bed

Will force you to drink one too (because you both have no sleep schedule <3)

Once all of that is taken care of y'all will eventually change into whatever you sleep in (Oliver-sensei outted Ike the other day for sleeping in only boxers lmfao but that's not relevant)

He will spend at least an hour reading in bed before falling asleep, be prepared with a sleeping eye mask maybe?

Or start a night time books club with him because he will not change this

He is a novelist after all

Once he's done reading and the glasses come off, one of two things will happen

He will fall asleep immediately

Or you guys will be up for the majority of the night talking about deep stuff

I feel like Mysta's bedtime routine is a wildcard, you never know what he's gunna be doing to eventually end up in bed

You brush your teeth and he goes "OoOOoh I knew I was forgetting to do something."

You'll catch this man up at 3 am playing Minecraft and he'll still be like "Oh shit, is it bedtime?"

He's a piece of work to even get him to start to migrate towards the bedroom

Once he finally changes and lays down; he's kind of like Ike, where he'll immediately pass out or will spend hours talking to you

However the conversations are more like "Why is cheddar cheese orange do you think?"

GOOGLE IT IDK I'M TIRED

Once he finally falls asleep he 100% mumbles in his sleep, you find it endearing as you slip on a pair of headphones or earplug's

Opposed to Ike; you will wake up either cuddling or being cuddled by Mysta

Despite the struggle to get this man into bed, he sleeps better next to someone

Known to occasionally sleep walk

You found him in the bathtub one time it was kinda scary

Vox is very ritualist when it comes to bedtime

He's also a very sleepy demon and enjoys maximizing his sleep to its full extent

So with him it's very "no nonsense"

He takes a shower

Blow-dries and cares for his hair

He brushes his teeth (While still in a towel)

He's a voice demon that came back to life, he has a skincare routine for bedtime (Still in a towel btw)

After that he change into something comfy

For some reason after all of that this man sleeps in mismatched socks like a sociopathy

Once y'all lay down he'll watch some stupid memes on his phone of a bit or do some light reading

There is no in between

Once he's done however he is out like a light, usually within an arms reach of you

Similarly to Mysta, you will wake up in his arms

It's funny because he insists it's entirely your doing

On the rare occasions where he can't sleep he'll get up and cook something

He says it helps him relax

The delicious aroma however wakes you up and the two of you share a lovely midnight snack

Luca tends to stay up really late

This is partial because of old work habits (if no ones awake to see you get rid of a body then it isn't a problem)

Luca like Vox though has bit of a ritualist bedtime getting ready routine though

Without fall no matter how late into the night (morning) it is

Once in bed, he crashes

The man is out like a light

I think because his bedroom is definitely his own space he feels at ease and can just doze off

It does help that he has a very nice bed I guess too

Once again you know you can sleep safe next to Luca, he wouldn't let anything disturb you

Like Mysta, Luca does occasionally talks in his sleep, but not nearly as loud as Mysta does

He doesn't strike me as the cuddling type either, i think if you tired it wake him up

vox himself is already one hell of a bold guy T.T

the luxiem boys and you decided to go to a haunted house while you guys were hanging out during the off collab. who’s idea was it? you forgot. it might’ve been vox or mysta.

you absolutely couldn’t stand horror, even the smallest jumpscares made you flinch — which is what makes streaming horror games so entertaining for your chat. you only agreed to this because the boys begged for you to go with them. 

“c’mon y/n, we’re going in!” mysta calls out to you as he disappears into the darkness. one by one the boys went in, leaving you with shu. 

“you can walk in front of me y/n, so that if anything happens, i can be there to help.” shu says with a smile. you chuckle nervously, “why would i need any help? this is nothing…i’ve played fnaf and until dawn, this should be easy.” you take a deep breath and step into the haunted house with shu following close behind. 

after entering the haunted house, a musky smell wafted towards your nose, making you scrunch it in disfavour. the atmosphere that you were in already made you want to turn around and bolt out of the door in fear. manic laughter sounded out down the hallway from a room that had a faint light emitting from it. 

glass smashing and wailing sounds came from the room over to the right and screams of other terrified guests followed after. you mumbled to yourself, “this was a big mistake, i shouldn’t have agreed to come.” 

behind you, shu chuckled, “scared already? you can turn back right now and wait for us at the exit.” you composed yourself and put on a brave face, “oh nonono! what? me, scared? pfft nah…i’m fine.” you lied through your teeth and walked forward, towards the room right at the end of the hallway. 

as you were walking, a clown emerged from the shadows and ran by, its piercing laughing reverberating around the house. you flinch, biting back a scream. after the clown had disappeared again once more into the shadows, you take a deep breath, continuing forward. 

you entered the room and you saw that it was a lab. lab coats were hung up on the side and vials containing unknown substances were spilled on the table in the middle. some of the vials were broken, the glass strewn on the table along with the liquids. shelves and cabinets surrounded the perimeter of the room containing different beakers, microscopes and other lab equipment. 

as you walk slowly around the table to exit the room, a beaker falls from the shelf and shatters on the ground, making you jump. you hear shu giggling behind you and you whip around, to glare at him. “what’s so funny mr yamino?”

“nothing, that wasn’t me.” shu responds with a deadpan face. you glare at him for a while more before proceeding forward again. just as you were about to reach the exit, the tall cabinet in the corner of the room to your right opened and a hand reached out to grab you. you screamed and moved to left, avoiding the hand and bolting through the door. shu follows close behind and laughs softly to himself, enjoying your reactions. 

once you were in the next room, you doubled over, catching your breath, your heart was pounding against your chest from that unexpected scare. you seemed really terrified and shu felt bad for laughing at you. “hey y/n, are you okay? we can leave if this is too much for you.”

you cough and stand upright again, “i’m fine, let’s keep going.” you assured him. 

when you enter the next room, there were plastic limbs scattered around on the table on your right, making your skin crawl. as you proceed forward, you suddenly hear the revving of what sounded like an engine from behind you, you turn around and see a man. he was covered in blood and he was holding a chainsaw, running towards both you and shu. you screamed and ran towards the door on the other side of the room. 

after you got out of that room, you were panting and trembling slightly from the adrenaline and the fear. shu walked beside you and held out his hand, “hold my hand, we’ll get through this last part together okay?” 

you silently took his hand in yours, intertwining your fingers together. shu could feel your hand trembling and he held it tight, guiding you to the last and final room. you felt a sense of comfort holding shu’s hand and you made it through the final room with just a small flinch. 

the both of you stepped out of the haunted house, shielding your eyes as they adjusted to the change in lighting. vox, mysta, ike and luca were waiting for the both of you. they noticed your hand intertwined with shu’s and they smirked, giving each other a knowing look. 

“so, how did the both of you find it? did you go in there for a scare or for a date? because it seems like the latter.” mysta teases. 

your eyes widened, realising what mysta meant and you hastily let go of shu’s hand. 

“it was great, i wasn’t scared at all.” you lie.

“uh huh…riiiight…likely story.” shu smiled smugly at you.
