(Adalynn's POV)

I love weddings, but family weddings are just that much more special since it means our family is growing. Lana has been such a darling since we met her, and we thank the Lord that she's now officially part of the family. The wedding itself was beautiful, the Lord was the at the centre of it all, represented by the large cross that Lana had hung up between them.

This is probably going to be the last picture of the boys before their new sibling gets here, this baby is due to arrive in the summer and after easter, we've not got many opportunities to dress up and take group pictures. It's also quite an uphill climb to get all 8 kids looking at the camera at the same time, as evidenced by little Titus doing his own thing.

Kyleigh and I managed to get our picture together, the third time we've been pregnant together. This will be her 11th child whereas this will be the 9th babe to join our family, we've just been so blessed to be able to have been given the responsibility to birth and raise all the children that we've had (and any more that the Lord wills for us to have). My mother always gets so excited when we send these photos to the family group, she's always said that God is so good, and all the kids are a perfect example of it.

The first time we were pregnant at the same time was when I was pregnant with Aaron (#3) and Kyleigh was pregnant with the twins Rose and Violet (#4 & #5), additionally, Valentina was pregnant with her 2nd child and Madelynn with her first. The second time that we were pregnant together was when I was newly pregnant with the twins Caleb & Jonah (#6 & #7), and she was pregnant with Preston (#9)

I love getting to see my sisters again, especially the ones that I don't see as often, of course we video call here and there as well as chat, but it's not the same as getting to chat and catch up in person. I'm so far the only sibling that lives without a sibling neighbour, Amira and Zoe are both in Windenburg whilst Maggie and Reece (and therefore Stacie) live in San Myshuno. We tried to make plans to visit each other, or maybe take a sister trip somewhere when we're free, which may not happen before this baby is born, so maybe we'll have to plan for next summer.

Seeing my cousins is also great, we all grew up very close and now we still try and keep those bonds steady even though we live far away from each other. Valentina is actually coming to see us once this baby is born, her brother Carter lives close-by so she's going to kill two birds with one stone. It was also great seeing both my sister Priscilla and my cousin Kristyn, they both live in Oasis Springs so they were local for the wedding and helped Lana with some of the planning logistics. Kristyn is also pregnant, she's halfway through her pregnancy with her second child who they found out is a baby boy!

We have been blessed by so much good news! My eldest is getting married, Nestor has a new job, and I am expecting! I’d been feeling nauseous after Steward and Christie became engaged, but I thought it was just mother-of-the-groom nerves. Then I took a pregnancy test and it was positive! We haven’t been doing anything to prevent Beelzebeef from gifting us with another life but I was still surprised, given our fertility struggles. She has truly rewarded us for our patience and trust in Her! I cannot wait to become a mother of five and feel another newborn in my arms again. 

Nestor has also been blessed with an amazing career opportunity! His recruitment agency were working with a high school to hire a student services officer, and they put Nestor in touch with the school board. Fast forward to the interview and they absolutely LOVED him! They actually made an offer before he’d even arrived back home, but he still prayed over the decision letter when it arrived. I love my husband’s reverence and devotion.

The new job is quite a change for us all, as we’ll be leaving San Myshuno! The school is on the other side of the country in a small town called Copperdale, so obviously we have to move. The board have been so helpful with relocation assistance; they even had someone give Nestor a tour of the town so he could find a good neighborhood for us to settle down in. It’ll be very different from the hustle and bustle of city life we’re all used to, and the little ones especially aren’t sure about leaving their school and their friends. I’ve been encouraging them to pray to Beelzebeef to thank Her for giving their father this incredible opportunity. Choosing to see the wonder in Beelzebeef’s designs is the key to contentment!

Jack tries to get fundy to look on the bright side, he says that the obsidian box around his house could function as protection from tnt, and so, to prove that's bullshit, fundy places a tnt beside the house he spent so long building and blows up a portion of it. Destroys his own work, a part of his home just to prove a point. It's a self destructive act of defiance. Ghostbur and jack both agree that was unnecessary and jack maintains it could protect the house from outside attacks. fundy continues to take the wall down. Ghostbur fixes the hole in fundy's house, but leaves evidence of the explosion. He puts a sight down saying "-CAUTION- Fallen debris". Now, I need you to know how insane I am over the fact that after doomsday, after the entirety of new Lmanburg was decimated, that sign was the only part of fundy's home that remained unbroken. A sign, surrounded by the rubble of a fallen nation, destruction as far as the eye can see, warning of fallen debris. A sign for a self destructive act of defiance. I am going to eat drywall about this

I'm pregnant! Baby number 12 will be joining our family at the end of next summer. I didn't particularly feel any of the symptoms, I just had the feeling that I should take a test and it was positive! I called my OB and went in for an ultrasound, and we have one healthy baby! My blood work hasn't come back yet, but with my history of preeclampsia there will be more monitoring done for this pregnancy and any subsequent ones that I'll have.

You'd think that by my 9th pregnancy (and 12th baby) I'd be used to the rollercoaster of morning sickness, but it definitely is something that's a constant reminder of the new life that's growing inside me. Thankfully I cook in bulk and have a rotation of leftovers and fresh fruit and veggies, so I don't need to cook daily which definitely helps with my aversions to smells.

The kids are doing great with their school, the triplets are in grade 4, the twins in grade 3, Daisy is in grade 2, and Marigold has started grade 1, the littles do skillbuilding work so that they don't feel left out. The big kids do their work after breakfast, i sit with each set and explain whatever concepts they dont understand, and afterwards they will finish their workbooks while I sit and explain more to those who don't understand. The littles are in their room having quiet time or napping whilst the oldest are doing their work.

Barrett and the boys (AJ, Benji, Preston, and Jefferson) are enjoying little Jackson, no matter how many children we have we'll always have so much love and gratefulness for babies in our hearts. They're also happy to have another little brother to love on since they're currently outnumbered by the girls.

Little Jackson is growing so fast it's so hard to imagine that he only joined the family earlier this year! He's been hitting milestones so quickly that soon we'll be celebrating his birthday and he'll be a walker!

My belly definitely shows a lot faster the more pregnancies I have, but I'm not complaining since I love feeling my belly when I'm pregnant. The kids are constantly asking me to feel my belly and constantly asking to be the new baby's buddy, with little Olivia turning 5 next year the kids love being able to help their little siblings. Rose has especially been loving on my belly and talking to her little siblings, the kids sometimes repeat their scripture memory verses to my belly so that the baby will come out the womb having memorised it all!

Chloe has started writing in a journal, she's shared with me that she wants to do a scrapbooking project so that she can journal her journey in her relationship with the Lord. They had mentioned the idea in sunday school and she couldn't wait to come home and let us know what she wanted to do, the other kids also knew about the project but wanted to wait a bit before they started their own.

Chloe is doing so well with her knitting, we try and sit down 2 to 3 times a week for an hour so I can watch her knit and help her as she goes along. Her goal right now is to finish a jumper for one of her younger sisters, and to continue to make hats since we're in winter now. It's so great that the kids are now becoming older and can pick up skills, Violet expressed wanting to learn how to cross stitch, so we're working on that as well so by spring she'll have some nice pieces finished. Rose has been asking to learn how to cook, but since she's still quite young she helps me with meal planning and the easier prep items.

and you KNOW he is fucking jehan -- maybe he waits a bit longer than canonically, properly has him under his thumb until he's fifteen or sixteen (very much the adolescens that he finds attractive) or maybe it starts right after nathan died (he's not even attracted to a 10 year old's body -- not that canonically he's into a 12 year old's body either but at least puberty is hitting and it reminds him of him and nathan in their youth and he's not coping well -- but it's a heady thing, power, and he's been able to get wealth and opened doors and it's a far cry from being a beaten faggot whore on his sister's leash being whored out so why not, why not, it's not like jehan's upset about it, he always gets to cum, and it's not like his wife knows, it's not like anyone knows, why not? who's gonna stop him? To not have the kingdom destroyed, the nobles agree to a list of demands the Demon King has given them, one of the demands being they give him a bride because his previous spouse died and he has no heirs to his throne.

On the final day before departure, Farfadox is handed his bride who he notices is dressed in a wedding dress too big that covers the bride completely. The bride has a veil covering their face but Farfadox can see that his bride-to-be is trembling in fear as they are pushed into the Demon King's arms, ignoring the snide remarks from the soldiers who brought him his bride, he lifts the veil covering their face to see beautiful emerald green eyes filled with tears staring back at him. His bride's face is heavily scarred but to Farfadox, his bride is one of the most beautiful people in the world he has seen

Dream, Essempi's princess turned prince has been locked away in prison after his family was overthrown and executed by the NotFound family with him only being alive due to the NotFound family's son who took an interest in him. After an incident, Dream was tortured and assaulted for many years until he was given to Farfadox being told he wouldn't even survive the first night

Side Notes:

Dream is trans but he was misgendered during his imprisonment and when he is offered to Farfadox he doesn't bother trying to correct him whenever Farfadox addresses him as a 'she'

The reason why Farfadox wasn't enraged when Dream was given to him as his bride after being told Dream was a prisoner is that in demon culture it's not uncommon for their people to sometimes marry slaves; Farfadox's father was a gladiator slave before his mother married him

During his time imprisoned, Dream was impregnated against his will and had multiple kids which are Ranboo (kicked out of the house at a young age due to how 'different' he looked and now lives in the forest at the edge of a village), Connor (living in fear with his dad who is a raging alcoholic), Hannah and Tina (half-sisters who are constantly abused by their stepmother but their half-sister Sylvee tries her best to keep them safe even if it means taking the brunt of her mother's abuse) and Yogurt (who was actually the only consensual pregnancy Dream had with Fundy after Fundy was forced by his dad Wilbur to sleep with Dream)

The reason why Dream was saved from being executed was because George had seen Dream once as a kid and wanted him as his wife, so another kid was executed in Dream's place. Over the course of a year after the rebellion he gets close to Dream and when he tries to initiate sex Dream gets scared, lashes out and on accident breaks George's nose; this then leads to Dream getting raped by George, beaten by some knights who then are given permission to use him as they see fit

Before Dream is sent off to Farfadox, he is gang-raped for hours and was told he was sent off because he couldn't produce any more kids so Dream doesn't say a word to Farfadox about the assault until a couple months later he wakes up feeling nauseous and finds out he is pregnant (it's George's kid) but loses the baby a couple weeks later

Techno is Dream's Godfather and emperor of the Antartic Empire, a small kingdom. He was devastated when he heard of the rebellion and execution but he couldn't declare war as his kingdom was smaller and not as powerful compared to Essempi

Farfadox and Dream eventually work things out and Dream gets all the help he needs to fully heal and a couple years later the two have sex and eventually Dream gets pregnant with twins

sally and wilbur are also such an interesting complicated relationship.

they're so so young when they meet and fall in love and have a baby. they're living in this shitty 2 bedroom flat where tommy's practically sleeping in a cupboard and the heating's broken and nothing works, but they don't really care but for different reasons.

for wilbur it's because he's used to not having much, and this life is something he worked so so hard towards that he doesn't care about the quality because for him, being free and having tommy in his custody and being able to earn money is all he's ever dreamed of, because he never felt like he was allowed or there was any point in dreaming better (also because he never thought about living a life for himself outside of tommy because in his mind, if it wasn't for the responsibility to care for him, he would have killed himself long ago; and so there's no point in dreaming things for himself because he doesn't have a life outside being the provider ANYWAYY) .

meanwhile sally, who comes from a much more stable background (both emotionally and financially), is in a headspace where she's much more. romanticising it i want to say? like she's a very wild person, especially at that time where's still really young (19-20), she wants to get out in the world and live with her boyfriend and she doesn't care about living in a shitty flat because it's true love and it's an adventure!

but the thing is, when things start actually getting serious, when she gets pregnant, she gets scared.

because the reason she was okay with that life is because she liked the freedom of it, the whole "living on the edge"; and having a baby is expectations and responsibility and being tied down. she considers not keeping the baby, but then she tells herself she'll be fine with it, that she loves wilbur and he's clearly over the moon at the news, and she doesn't want to disappoint him and she'll probably end up fine (obviously she's very young hence why she makes that choice but i just want to note wilbur would obviously never have been shitty about something like that. he Was really happy about the baby and yeah maybe there woudlve been disappointment, but he 100% would've supported her. it's just sally is very lost and confused and she doesn't know what to do or how to communicate that).

and so they have the baby and wilbur's so in love and overjoyed, and for him this is it. yes they still live in a shitty flat, living off three minimum wages (he has 2 jobs), to sustain two adults a baby and a teenager, but they'll make it work because they're in love and everything. i'm telling you, that man is ready to propose, he even saved up to buy a ring. for him, fundy's birth is proof that he's finally achieved his dream of having an actually stable family, with people that love him, and yeah it's hard right now but things are only gonna look up from now on.

but for sally it's vastly different, because she left home with all these ideas of living by herself and making it on her own and experiencing life but she just. doesn't know how to deal with this. she's terrified because she knows she's not as responsible as wilbur, who's had to act as a parent to tommy since he was a kid, who never had a childhood but who can handle heavy responsibilities.

she's scared of being tied down at 20 when she hasn't lived yet, whereas wilbur is in the direct opposite headspace where he never even thought he would make it to 20.

and so she leaves when fundy is just three months old, and it fucking wrecks wilbur.

like this isn't just a 20 yr old heartbreak, it's not just getting ghosted and dumped and not knowing why, it's having all his fragile hopes of building something good, a family, finally having someone by his side who would stick by him and help him and love him, completely shatter to the ground. it hurts even more because he's been lulled in a false sense of security where he thought they were on the same page when they were on like. completely different BOOKS, to continue the metaphor.

he still has the ring in his closet, but sally wasn't ready to get married at all. and already for secure adults this kind of breakup (being in love but with different goals) would already be something hard to accept and move forward from, but wilbur is. neither secure nor an adult despite what he claims. he's twenty and he's never been loved by anyone other than his little brother for more than a couple months and he thought this was it. it was like a fairytale, in a way, and it's really naive because just like sally, he's a kid!! they were in love but they never communicated well and they never talked about serious stuff like this.

and he's heartbroken and angry and devastated and also so embarrassed- i mean really, buying a wedding ring, he was getting way ahead of himself, as if sally would ever want to stay with him like that.

and it's back to square one, in a way. he's back to where he was at 18, freshly graduated from high school with 2 jobs, tommy finally in his custody, barely making ends meet, and so so lonely (hadn't met niki or any other of his friends yet, quackity was long gone to harvard). except now he has a baby, so it's even harder because he loves fundy so much but now he has to provide for a newborn and a teenager on his own, on top of dealing with the breakup.

but what i love about their relationship is also how it matures. once they've moved on, they never develop romantic feelings again for each other, but they do learn to work together and eventually be friends, for fundy's sake. mind you, that takes YEARS. after she ghosts him, wilbur doesn't have any sort of contact with her for at least three or four years, until he really needs help and he swallows his pride and asks for child support.

she still isn't fundy's mother, or is ready to be, but she does want to help how she can to try to make up for things. it's very stilted, because fundy doesn't know her, and wilbur's trying to be mature and helpful but he's still hurting.

after that, it's a long long time of awkwardly tiptoeing around each other and only texting to say they've picked fundy up from school or that they forgot his pyjamas, etc. she does build a sort-of relationship with fundy, and when fundy's like 6-7 he starts spending every second weekend at her house. they'll never be as close as fundy and wilbur are (or even fundy and quackity when he moves in with them but that's another post), but she's trying.

and with wilbur, they eventually become friends again. after years of working together for fundy, they do start to talk more and be friendlier. this is only possible because wilbur finally feels like he's moved on, especially now being with quackity in a much healthier & mature relationship, and so even though he forgave her a long time ago, now he actually feels comfortable talking to her normally.

she does feel really guilty about leaving for so long, but they talk about it, and it helps them both a lot, especially wilbur who spiralled trying to figure out why he did wrong to push her away, so learning it was a matter of not being ready was really healing for him.

so yeah i love how they grow from that, from being kids in love but not communicating, to adult friends who can actually talk to each other. she even goes to wilbur's and quackity's wedding!!
