Something feels so nice to think that Elizabeth had been married to Savannah for as long as she was a principal, and sometimes she would join her wife on time missions because it's rare that she gets to test her combat skills.
Yeah, that's my head canon.
Also Elizabeth likes to workout with Brigette which is where she ended up in her circle of parent friends. Savannah's connection to the Murphys eventually lead to Cavendish and Dakota getting closer to Brigette and Martin and while Dakota has respect Savannah, and a long since ended phase where he fancied her, he recognised that Savannah and Brick's arrogance meant that she doesn't quite see eye to eye with Elizabeth's friends out of work.
And that Brick still finds a way to get left behind by Brigette and friends.

kyle’s hypocrisy in season 19 rant #1: why he doesn’t like it when cartman changes because of someone else (FROM THE VAULT [2020])

I find it surprising how Kyle constantly tries to stop Cartman, and claims Cartman is a bad person, yet the way he acted towards Cartman in Season 19 and 20 completely contradicted that. In “Stunning & Brave”, when PC Principal moved in the school, at first Kyle was glad there were new changes. Until he got in trouble for what he said about Caitlyn Jenner, Cartman of course is in way more trouble because he’s well, Cartman. This is when Cartman gives up and decides to start following the rules bc PC Principal is too powerful, and it’s like ummm isn’t that what you want Kyle? For Cartman to finally behave and stop being a jackass bc you’ve spent the entire show trying to do that yourself? No, Kyle wants Cartman to go back to his old self and fight off the principal some more. And when Cartman gets beaten up by PC Principal and ends up in the hospital Kyle STILL wants Cartman to keep getting into trouble, he’s all like “let’s tell the police what the principal did and get him fired!” but Cartman refuses. I think this scene right here is a huge example of the character development for both Cartman & Kyle of how Cartman has gotten milder over time yet Kyle is still toxic and crazy and always wants a fight. But anyways the point is how Kyle ISN’T okay with Cartman trying to change and become a better person, and he actually seems to be fine with Cartman for who he is. You know why? Because Kyle just likes bossing Cartman around bc it’s fun for him. He wants Cartman to do the wrong things so he can be the one to tell him what the right thing to do is. And if Cartman is gonna change, Kyle wants to be the one to make him do that, not PC Principal, not Heidi, him. We see this again in s20, how when Cartman turns PC and stops doing bad things, and tries to do good things, Kyle gets even MORE annoyed at him than he was when he was doing bad shit. Like when Cartman was with Heidi he tells him they need the old Cartman back. I mean I know Cartman’s whole PC persona was all fake and annoying, but it’s like Kyle why do you care so much that he changed? I mean if you caring about morals and all that is the real reason why you’re constantly beefing with Cartman then shouldn’t Cartman finally staying out of trouble and leaving you alone give you peace? But no, Kyle doesn’t really care about morals and causes and doing the right thing and all that shit he just cares about Cartman.

PRIDE - Raging
Heavy. Her body felt so heavy. The poison was spreading quickly. Breathing was getting harder and harder. She could feel herself sputtering. How unsightly. What a horrendous way to die. She didn’t want to. She was trying not to.
Wednesday’s terrified eyes met her own and for the first time she could see emotion in them. The girl was panicking. Funny, Larissa thought only Enid and her family caused the girl to lose her composure. Did Wednesday actually like her? Did she like her so much that panic made her clumsy? The girl’s hands trembled as she reached for her. Wednesday was actually fond of her. She never would have believed it. Would Larissa truly let herself die in front of her?
No! She couldn’t, wouldn’t do that to the girl, to the rest of her students and staff. She couldn’t die and leave them to fend for themselves. She had to do something. Anything. 
The edges of her vision were starting to fade into black. She needed to stop the poison, but how? 
“What you are saying, my dear principal, is that you are immune to any sort of injury? So very mighty of you.” 
“I will not tolerate your attitude.”
“You should go to your office then.”
Her blood was near boiling now. “Why you insolent little—”
“Enough of that. I will clear you for the rest of year. The physical is done.”
“You only asked a few questions. You have yet to examine me.”
“I have no need to examine you. The examination is already done.” They looked almost bored as they spoke. 
“But you—”
“Principal Weems, I have other teachers to get through before the physicals are due. It is your deadline I have been trying to meet.”
“Is this how you plan to meet the deadline? How irresponsible of you?”
They let out a heavy sigh and began to explain. “If you must know, my magic allows me to examine without having to touch you. It spreads like an invisible net. The moment you walked in I began my examination.”
“You are bluffing. You just—”
“It is also a rarity for a shifter to present with illnesses or injuries.” Them knowing she was a shapeshifter without having told them surprised her. “What with all the shifting you can do, you can very much reverse any injury or sickness. That is unless your talents are less than mediocre, unlike the others I have met before.”
“Why you—”
“Principal Weems, if it does not please you to have your talents belittled or ridiculed do not do so to others.”
They were right and she bit the retort that was already building and settled for something milder. “Mind your attitude, Mage.”
“Thanks,” their voice grew quiet and their eyes soft, “for not calling me Witch.”
“Just… do your job.”
“I do aim to please, Larissa.” Their bravado was back as quickly as it had died down. “Do send the next person in. I have lost enough time as it is.”
Why was she recalling that insufferable person now? She needed to focus on the poison. She could no longer see, only darkness greeted her, and she was starting to lose the feeling of her extremities. She had too much going on. Wednesday was there and so was Marilyn. She had to get the poison to stop so she could help her students. Why was she thinking about that insolent, cocky, infuriating person? What could they even…
“It is also a rarity for a shifter to present with illnesses or injuries. What with all the shifting you can do, you can very much reverse any injury or sickness…”
Shifting! That was what she had to do. Shift her inner body without shifting outside. Remain Larissa Weems but change her composition. She could do this. Shifting was second nature. Shifting was her. It annoyed her that she hadn’t come up with the solution by herself but she’d dwell on that and the way their voice in her head made her feel calm later — that definitely was something she did not want to think about.
‘Shift, Larissa. Shift and don’t stop. You need to be ok. You need to neutralize the poison. The students need you. Wednesday needs you. Even that insufferable Mage needs you. Shift. Just shift!’

Vanilla and lavender. The first thing she could smell was vanilla and lavender, not the cacophony of scents from the greenhouse. She no longer lay prone on a hard cold floor either, she lay on a soft bed, her head pillowed. It was also warm, comfortably so. 
Had she dreamt the greenhouse? Had she dreamt finding out Marilyn had been the one behind everything? Had she dreamt being poisoned? Had she dreamt Wednesday's panic over her?
Her body still felt so heavy. The heaviness, however, had more to do with exhaustion than some poison. But then the exhaustion she felt was familiar. She was drained. Some parts within her body were shifting without a clear command. They tousled and twisted and turned automatically and that meant that the greenhouse and Marilyn and Wednesday and the poison had all happened. 
Eyes snapped open and even the dim light made it feel as if a thousand blades were piercing through her head. She closed her eyes to soothe the rising migraine and also concentrated on getting her shifting under control. Vanilla and lavender. She used that lovely and utterly familiar scent to soothe herself. Vanilla and lavender. Fragrant and sweet and so very subtle. 
The shifting gradually slowed until it ceased completely. Her body ached everywhere but once she stopped shifting she felt a hint of relief. A sharp gasp and shuffling alerted her to the presence of another. She tensed briefly until they spoke. Though the scent which had greeted her and helped her calm herself should've clued her in as to who was with her.
“You’re awake?” Their voice was so soft but she could still hear the tiredness in them and something else. “Larissa?”
Opening her eyes slowly she found them sitting next to the bed she lay on. Suddenly they didn’t seem as insufferable as always. They looked beyond tired and worry had etched itself into every line of their face. Their eyes uncharacteristically dim and empty.
“S-Seren.”
Her voice came out hoarse but she managed. Eyes brightened almost instantly once she spoke and it reminded her what their name meant, Star.
“Y-you… you stopped shifting and I… I thought…” Their eyes looked shiny now, more than usual, but they cleared their throat and continued. “How are you feeling?”
Larissa watched them for a few seconds and scoffed at the absurdity of the question. They nodded ruefully and let out a sigh. 
“Right…”
“Wednesday. T-the students…”
“Are fine. I’ve tended to all who were injured. Some are outside in the main ward with my assistants and the others were sent to their rooms. Worry about yourself now.” Their words grew sharp and thus Larissa’s annoyance rose.
“I am the principal.” She managed. “They come first.”
“Oh, do forgive me, principal. How could I ever forget.” They rose from where they sat waving their arms about. “Principa Weems, the one and only. The martyr.”
“Stop it with your nonsense.” She didn’t know how but she managed to sit up noticing that as suspected she was in one of the private rooms in the school’s infirmary.
“You’re the one lacking any sense.”
“It is my job to watch over them. Over Nevermore. Over you.”
“Enlighten me then, oh might principal. If you die, how in the hell are you going to watch over anyone? Tell me how you will take care of us all if you do not take care of yourself.”
They were right, she knew it, but still. “You would never understand.”
“Before a teacher I am a damned healer. Explain how I would not understand, you insufferable woman.”
“Wednesday needed me. That woman she—”
“Why did you have to go alone?!”
“I… I thought…” 
“No, you did not think. You just went and recklessly put your life on the line.”
Again they were right but still she was not about to let them continue berating her. She was tired and hurting and she wanted to check on Wednesday and the rest of the students. She had things to do and none of those things included being in a room with some mage scolding her as if she were a child.
“Would it be too much to ask for you to finish healing me?”
“You cannot be serious. Are you trying to leave? I told you everyone is fine. I made sure of it. Why not just lay there and sit pretty while your body rests? Or wait, is that too much for our esteemed principal to do?”
Their words seemed to revitalize her. The ache in her muscles was starting to dim and her tiredness was waning. She felt like fighting back and she had every right to do so. 
“Is this argument going somewhere? Why do you always have to question me? Why do you always have to fight me? Why is it always like this? You keep raging like some lunatic.”
“You really want to know. My raging, my raging is because of you, you dim witted fool.”
“Excuse me. I—”
“You could have died, Larissa!” Tears burst from their eyes and their voice cracked sending a pang through her heart. “You could have… I knew you had been poisoned but not the kind of poison you had been given. I found you and your body kept shifting but I couldn’t figure out what the poison was. You were so pale I could see your veins. Your lips and nose were turning blue. Your pupils were blown. Your heart was barely beating and your lungs were moving so slowly. You were so close to actually dying I was about to lose my mind until that woman decided to cackle and tell me.”
“Marilyn?”
“Yes, her. Your shifting was starting to slow and Wednesday was trembling beside you. I needed to get you two out of there. I needed to heal you and get you back here but to do that I had to… I…”
Pain rippled through her as she watched them struggle to continue. Seren was a healer, one of the best in the world. It wasn’t in their nature to cause bodily harm. They could be mean when they wanted to be but never hurtful. In all of their arguments and ridiculous fights never had Seren said or done anything to hurt her. Had they…
“Where’s Marilyn?”
Their lips quivered briefly before they spoke, “dead. I…I…”
Subconsciously, Larissa reached for them and for a moment she debated on pulling away but decided against it. Reluctantly they stepped closer to the bed allowing her to take their hand. “I am so sorry.”
“I would do it again.” They spoke quickly and without a second thought. “For my kids… for you. I would bloody my hands however many times it was needed just to keep you safe.”
The conviction in their words, in their eyes,  made Larissa’s breath hitch. She was unsure of what to think or do. What did it mean that they were willing to sully themselves for her. They couldn’t possibly… could they?
“...why?”
They sat on the bed, their gaze lingering where their hands met. “Don’t make me say it, Larissa. Please.”
She heard their vulnerability and had she been in a better state of mind she might’ve considered. Now, however, she needed to know. Needed them to say it. Because what she was thinking couldn’t be true. She couldn’t let herself hope that her deepest most hidden wish was true. Things like that didn’t happen to Larissa Weems, not now, not before, not ever. Could they? 
“Why do you care so much about me?”
“You know why. It feels a bit ridiculous.” They chuckled and looked back at her with a small smile. “With how much we fight. How could I? But then how could I not?”
Larissa felt her heart beating uncontrollably within her and they way Seren’s eyes shifted down to her chest before meeting her gaze once more told her they also knew. 
“You need to calm down.”
Blood rushed to her cheeks and she knew she was now a messy blush. Seren’s knowing eyes sparkled and their smile widened a bit while seemingly chewing their cheek.
“Seren, I… well this…”
“If what you want to say is that it cannot be, then save it. I have already had this conversation in my head a million times. I would rather continue to fight with you than have to leave because it hurts too much. We can just attribute this whole display to illusions concocted by the antidote I administered.” 
They moved to stand and let go of her hand and panic like no other rose in Larissa. “No! That’s not… I just wanted to say that well this is… unexpected.”
“I see.” Once more they began to get up and she tightened her grasp.
“Stop being an idiot.”
“Careful there principal.”
“Insufferable.” At her words their eyes flashed but soon whatever comeback they had come up with seemed to have left them when she spoke the next words. “Why did I fall for you?”
“What did you say?”
“Oblivious too. I thought you felt my heartbeat increase.”
“I did. I only thought you were uncomfortable and I made you nervous.”
“Ha! I do not get nervous around anyone. Much less you.”
The way they looked at her then spelled danger and once more her heart sped up. Seren smirked and leaned forward slightly, making her breath hitch.
“Are you certain?”
She looked at them a bit longer and licked her lips. The action was followed closely by Seren’s eyes but they didn’t move any closer. Larissa was tired and her body was barely responding to her commands so leaning forward and pulling them closer to shut their mouth was not an option. However…
“Ah…” She winced and doubled over as if in pain. They moved quickly towards her.
“Are you alright? Everything should be getting back to normal. I have not detected any other issues.” The panic in their voice almost had her brake character but she winced once more. “Larissa? Look at me. Please, dear, look at me.” The pet name made her heart flutter. “Larissa. Lar-uphm.”
With all the strength she could muster she grabbed onto their collar and clumsily brought them close enough to bring their lips together. Their initial reaction was shock. They just sat there unmoving and for a brief moment Larissa panicked. Soon enough, though, they were kissing her back. It felt as though in them was both the question and the answer. Their lips moved together slow then quick, light then deep. She felt as thought she had blindly wandered forever and now she was finally found.
When oxygen became a necessity they finally parted foreheads still pressed together and panting lightly. A gentle caress had her opening her eyes only to get lost in the galaxy of their own. 
“I ought to leave you suffering in pain.” They managed to say.
“Is that not poor medical treatment? It would go on your permanent record.”
“Healer not a doctor. Only I decide who gets treated, Principal Weems.” 
She groaned at their tone. “Will you truly continue to fight?”
“If you think a kiss or a relationship between us means our fighting will stop then you are sorely mistaken.” The playfulness in their voice gave them away yet she still found herself pouting. “Who would’ve thought I would ever think of you as adorable.”
Heat spread through her cheeks and she almost pulled away until they kissed her nose. “I-I…”
“Larissa,” their voice grew stern and she bit her lip at the intensity of their gaze, “if you ever scare me the way you just did again you will pay dearly.”
“I-it was just a joke. Y-you were too far and I wanted to—”
“I did not mean that. If you ever put your life on the line so recklessly I swear I will make you suffer the same way I did.” Their intense gaze softened after those words and they gently cradled her cheeks. “Please, don’t do that again. Please.”
Swallowing hard and fighting to keep her raging heart from beating out of her chest she covered their hands. “I will do better.”
“I suppose that is acceptable.”
The door to the room opened and a gasp followed by a light giggle had her jumping back slightly. They both looked towards the sound only to find a familiar blonde with an arm looped together with a brunette.
“Oh wow. Cute.” 
Enid’s voice filled the silent space first while Wednesday seemed to want to be anywhere else. The two made quite the pair, messy hair and a few bandages but both fine. Wednesday inspected her from afar before her gaze landed on Larissa’s hands, which had somehow ended within Seren’s. 
“Quite disgusting.”
“Stop, Wednesday they are cute.”
Clearing her throat she addressed the two girls. “Miss Sinclair. Miss Adams. How are you two doing?”
“I’m great!” Enid grinned.
“Fine.” Wednesday’s eyes seemed less wild than before and she was back to her old cold self.
“Good. That’s good. I’m glad.”
“Are you ok, Weems?” The brunette asked and for a moment she saw concern sitting heavily on her brow.
She opted to be honest with her answer, “I am in pain and tired. But I am ok.”
“I suppose that is acceptable.” The girl said, her tense shoulders relaxing slightly.
“I knew there was a reason why I find myself hating you less than everyone else Miss Adams.”
Larissa was about to reprimand them before she saw the slight smirk on the brunette girl.
“Likewise, Miss Stromm.”
The way the two smirked at each other spelled trouble and a world of mischief but Larissa supposed it should be fine. She knew Seren would do anything for the kids, just as she would.
“Well, I guess we’ll leave you to um enjoy yourselves.” Enid said with a wicked grin and wink which were met with an eye roll from Wednesday.
“Keep your displays of carnal tendencies to yourselves.” Wednesday said and quickly tugged Enid out of the room before Larissa could protest. 
Seren stood and walked to the door. The distinct sound of the lock clicking into place filled the room before the mage turned to her. 
Those beautiful eyes which held the universe and all of its stars flashed at her, pulling a light chuckle from her. “Now we should be able to keep our carnal tendencies to ourselves.”
“I think we may be able to do that. Come Seren. Rage at me.”
“With pleasure, my dear principal.”

I never realized somebody could suffocate me by taking a look at me if, by some stroke of good luck, she knew she was the sea. If her adoration was to, at any point, bite the dust, it would be the last evening. Picture standing by the entire year waiting for snow and awakening to little to no snow, and it dissolves away. I love how she influences me. Regardless of whether I was trying to say bye, my heart cadence plays like a drum. It's how she gazes at me like I'm the principal at nightfall; I could kiss her in a garden filled with heartbeats and wouldn't even consider stopping. We realize the world is loaded with things. However, there is nothing similar to her! She is all the meanders and all the desires. I need to move my ribs to hold this feeling of security! My indisputable favorite since you're genuinely characterized. I could not say something similar for each previous experience, yet your affection is the domain of this incomplete cure I'm drinking through. My antidote, forever liquifying, you deserve the crown…

Life’s building blocks are surprisingly stable in Venus-like conditions
Results suggest the clouds of Venus could be hospitable for some forms of life.
If there is life in the solar system beyond Earth, it might be found in the clouds of Venus. In contrast to the planet’s blisteringly inhospitable surface, Venus’ cloud layer, which extends from 30 to 40 miles above the surface, hosts milder temperatures that could support some extreme forms of life. 
If it’s out there, scientists have assumed that any Venusian cloud inhabitant would look very different from life forms on Earth. That’s because the clouds themselves are made from highly toxic droplets of sulfuric acid — an intensely corrosive chemical that is known to dissolve metals and destroy most biological molecules on Earth. 
But a new study by MIT researchers may challenge that assumption. Appearing today in the journal Astrobiology, the study reports that, in fact, some key building blocks of life can persist in solutions of concentrated sulfuric acid. 
The study’s authors have found that 19 amino acids that are essential to life on Earth are stable for up to four weeks when placed in vials of sulfuric acid at concentrations similar to those in Venus’ clouds. In particular, they found that the molecular “backbone” of all 19 amino acids remained intact in sulfuric acid solutions ranging in concentration from 81 to 98 percent.  
“What is absolutely surprising is that concentrated sulfuric acid is not a solvent that is universally hostile to organic chemistry,” says study co-author Janusz Petkowski, a research affiliate in MIT’s Department of Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences (EAPS).
“We are finding that building blocks of life on Earth are stable in sulfuric acid, and this is very intriguing for the idea of the possibility of life on Venus,” adds study author Sara Seager, MIT’s Class of 1941 Professor of Planetary Sciences in EAPS and a professor in the departments of Physics and of Aeronautics and Astronautics. “It doesn’t mean that life there will be the same as here. In fact, we know it can’t be. But this work advances the notion that Venus’ clouds could support complex chemicals needed for life.”
The study’s co-authors include first author Maxwell Seager, an undergraduate in the Department of Chemistry at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Seager’s son, and William Bains, a research affiliate at MIT and a scientist at Cardiff University.
Building blocks in acid
The search for life in Venus’ clouds has gained momentum in recent years, spurred in part by a controversial detection of phosphine — a molecule that is considered to be one signature of life — in the planet’s atmosphere. While that detection remains under debate, the news has reinvigorated an old question: Could Earth’s sister planet actually host life? 
In search of an answer, scientists are planning several missions to Venus, including the first largely privately funded mission to the planet, backed by California-based launch company Rocket Lab. That mission, on which Seager is the science principal investigator, aims to send a spacecraft through the planet’s clouds to analyze their chemistry for signs of organic molecules. 
Ahead of the mission’s January 2025 launch, Seager and her colleagues have been testing various molecules in concentrated sulfuric acid to see what fragments of life on Earth might also be stable in Venus’ clouds, which are estimated to be orders of magnitude more acidic than the most acidic places on Earth.
“People have this perception that concentrated sulfuric acid is an extremely aggressive solvent that will chop everything to pieces,” Petkowski says. “But we are finding this is not necessarily true.”
In fact, the team has previously shown that complex organic molecules such as some fatty acids and nucleic acids remain surprisingly stable in sulfuric acid. In particular, they found that the molecular “backbone” of all 19 amino acids remained intact in sulfuric acid solutions ranging in concentration from 81 to 98 percent.  
“What is absolutely surprising is that concentrated sulfuric acid is not a solvent that is universally hostile to organic chemistry,” says study co-author Janusz Petkowski, a research affiliate in MIT’s Department of Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences (EAPS).
“We are finding that building blocks of life on Earth are stable in sulfuric acid, and this is very intriguing for the idea of the possibility of life on Venus,” adds study author Sara Seager, MIT’s Class of 1941 Professor of Planetary Sciences in EAPS and a professor in the departments of Physics and of Aeronautics and Astronautics. “It doesn’t mean that life there will be the same as here.
