friendly reminder that it's okay and normal for lesbians to like breasts and ass and pussy, to find other women attractive, to look at women, to have sexual thoughts about women. you're not "like a man" for finding this woman on that pic attractive or for having a soft spot for boobs or anything. lesbianism is healthy and natural. stop shaming lesbians for having sexual desires

men be like "if women are really that intelligent, why are all major discoveries made by men? 🤓" as if they didn’t quite literally burn women alive if they were smart back in the day

Got a terf in my sideblog and the reply is not worth deigning with a response but the pinned post?

This? This is a trap. This is concern baiting. Be very sure that shit like this is not in your best interest and does not care about you. The goal of rhetoric like this is conversion.
You’ll be welcomed and asked to ignore transphobia. You will be asked to side with transphobes at the expense of trans women. Eventually, you’ll be asked to see that, hey, maybe you transitioned to escape how terrible it is to be a woman?
This may seem obviously a trap but I see people every day buy into this. People like this do not care about you! They want to “rescue” you and don’t let them convince you otherwise.

I think more people on radblr should be talking about sweatshops, especially in the garment industry.
• Around 80% of sweatshop workers are women. Some employers force them to take birth control and pregnancy tests to avoid having to pay for maternity leave. Pregnant women are routinely denied sick leave to visit doctors, terminated from their contracts early, or left without any maternity leave when their short-term contracts are not renewed.
• Women are more likely than men to experience minimum wage violations. According to one study, "30 percent of the women workers in our sample experienced minimum wage violations, compared to 20 percent of the men". [Source: https://www.nelp.org/publication/broken-laws-unprotected-workers-violations-of-employment-and-labor-laws-in-americas-cities/ ]
• Indonesian women employees report that “girls in the factory are harassed by male managers. They come on to the girls, call them into their offices, whisper into their ears, touch them, bribe them with money and threaten them with firing if they don’t have sex with them.” [source: cleanclothes.org]
• "Toilet breaks are monitored, and some workers said they were flat out denied them, even when sick. The same goes for water and lunch breaks, both necessary to stay healthy when working 12+ hour days in a stuffy, overcrowded factory." 20% of women in sweatshops report experiencing sexual violence. [https://iwda.org.au/three-ways-garment-factories-violate-the-rights-of-women-and-how-its-allowed-to-happen/ ]
It's easy not to support this kind of abuse. Do not buy clothes first-hand. Only buy from thrift shops and second-hand apps, or find ethical brands and investigate where and how they make their clothing (hint: if a t-shirt costs $3, it's not ethical). Patch your old clothes. Consider learning basic sewing (it's not as difficult as it seems!)
I don't care how cheap Shein and Temu are. I don't care how much you think you need that specific Zara coat. Buying clothes directly harms women and avoiding it is a very easy way to help.

why is it that Taylor Swift specifically is being made the face of eco-terrorism when she barely ranks 77th place on the list of celebrities with the most carbon emissions? why her, and not Travis Scott, who ranks 1st place? any idea?
and why is this gaining popularity again right after the AI pornography spectacle? any idea? any idea why people are so eager to demonize a woman who was just recently the victim of misogyny?

I feel like we need to start really pushing for hate crimes against women to actually be treated as such. It's fucking insane that a man can beat/rape/murder a woman, call her sexist slurs during the attack, and then tell the police and press that he did it because he hates women, but somehow this isn't considered a hate crime. The only reason places don't want to do it is because there's so many that it would mean like 90% of hate crime victims would be women (literally the reason the uk gave for not doing it a few years back)
It's extra crazy because wasn't it something like 80% of mass murderers have a history of harrasment and violence against women and girls? You would think it would be a no brainer to treat these crimes seriously to prevent these men from getting out and committing even more violent and horrific crimes, but that would mean treating women as people and not shock absorbers for society I guess.

i don't care about people calling me a transphobe and a bigot, i don't care about their crying posts and their insults, i don't care if they think i'm on the wrong side of history, i don't care about the feelings i am hurting, i don't care if they feel attacked or shocked by my words ; i believe gender ideology is pure nonsense, i believe it is based on misogyny, i believe it is a threat to women and girls, so i'll keep fighting against it. women and girls are my priority, and if a cult-like ideology starts to be have bad consequences for them, i don't see why i should shut up. i won't support its existence just because some people are delusional and think it's bigotry not to tell them what they want to hear

the ultimate blackpill is when you realize that most men view rape as desecration of property rather than an act of violence against another human

sometimes i just brood about how i can't walk around shirtless in public, which is such a simple privilege males have over females that really shouldn't mean much. however, it's impossible for me to rebel against this expectation on my own; the reason i don't just say "fuck it" and walk out shirtless is because i would become a sexual object to every man i see. the intent i had would be hijacked by the male gaze, if that makes sense.
i also see this hijacking thing happen with sexual liberation, where women were/are trying to reclaim their agency and right to have sed with whoever, but many men don't see it like that. they just see women they can have sex with, and the meaning is lost on them.
this observation has always frustrated me and it just sucks that you can see the pattern in a lot of aspects of feminism, where men will pick out parts that benefit them and THEN support those parts for their own benefit.

“Can you define woman without excluding any woman?” Yes, I can, actually.
A woman is a person born with at least one X chromosome and with the absence of a Y chromosome.
It’s fairly simple. People with Turner’s syndrome (XO) are ALWAYS female, and people with Klinefelter’s syndrome (XXY) are ALWAYS male, because the presence of the Y chromosome makes them male. And this isn’t my opinion by the way, this is medical literature. We’re also talking about sex here, not gender. This includes any variation of chromosomes - for example, the extremely rare genetic disorder, XXXYY, people with this disorder are ALWAYS MALE, even though they have more than one (and two!) X chromosomes, because the presence of the Y chromosome makes you male.
I give any radfems and/or TERFs the right to use this explanation whenever some TRA trues to pull the “but what about (extremely rare genetic disorder) or (someone with no ovaries, a hysterectomy, etc). Because you don’t really need to define “woman” by external genitalia or even anatomy, because there’s one thing that all women have, no matter what. And it’s at least one X chromosome, and no Y chromosome.
