Movie!Hinny Positivity Post

Scrolling through my posts, I realize I tend to shit on Movie Hinny, Ginny, and Harry a lot lmfaooo, so I thought I’d make a Movie!Hinny positivity post to prove to myself I really can be optimistic about a mostly pessimistic adaptation if I try. Feel free to reblog and add more to this list if I missed any!

1. The MOVIE SOUNDTRACKS HOT DAMN. The songs “Ginny” and “When Ginny Kissed Harry” has to be in my top 3 movie songs (right after “Snape to Malfoy Manor” aka the title theme song to DH1). They are just so angelic and beautiful that it makes their kissing scenes way more palatable to watch imho.

2. The intense, piercing, soul-searching way Harry looks at her in the last three movies (though mainly HBP). Even though they don’t really speak to each other much in HBP, their heated looks manage to tell a story of their own that I don’t even think Romione does until some parts of DH1. Seriously, Harry doesn’t look at anyone in the heated way he looks at Ginny, not even Cho, Romilda, Luna, or the waitress diner girl at the beginning of HBP, whom if they were given noncanon romantic looks were nowhere near as searing as the ones he gave to Ginny. (The only time he gets even close is to Hermione during the noncanon dancing tent scene but I’m trying to keep this post positive lmfao so let’s move on…). For instance, even if you don’t like these scenes there’s no denying the actors - especially Dan Rad - mastered the great art of eye-fucking. Think about it: the looks when Harry gazes up at her while she’s at the top of the Burrow all-Repunzel-Flynn-Ryder-style with the song “Ginny” playing in the background, when Harry finishes that tension-filled hug also at the Burrow, when he’s listening to her brothers tease Ginny about Dean in Fred and George’s shop, when Ginny walks in late during Slughorn’s dinner and he stands up and stares at her, when she walks in the RoR in DH2 and the hard set of Harry’s jawline and eyes go soft when they see her, when SHE ASKS TO ZIP UP HER DRESS AND THE UP-AND-DOWN LOOK HE GIVES LITERALLY RIGHT WHILE HES DOING IT OH MY FFFFING LORDDDDD 💦💦💦🌊🌊🌊. Anywho.

3. The hug Ginny gives Harry after Dumbledore dies. A beautiful addition to the books that actually contributes to the strength of their relationship. In the books, Ginny is the only one to pull Harry away from his beloved mentor and idol’s body, but in the movies, she stays with him and holds him through his pain, really emphasizing her role as his greatest source of comfort. Both versions of course were cute, but this was not bad either.

4. When Ron says “you know why I listen to the radio every day? So I don’t hear Ginny, or Fred, or Molly” and Harry goes “you think I’m not listening too? You think I don’t know how this feels?!” Okay, I know that the focus of this fight in the movie was not on Hinny but at least it shows that Harry was thinking about her even if not all of his actions in the tent scenes did.

5. Right before the Golden Trio Disapperates from Fleur and Bill’s wedding and Harry shouts “Ginny!” while running to protect her but Lupin holds him back and pushes him toward his friends. (Which btw is very much reminiscent of when Lupin holds him back from running to Sirius right after he dies AND as we see later in DH2, when Arthur holds Ginny back from running to “dead” Harry as she shouts “No. NO!”). An uncharacteristic thoughtful small scene written by the man himself, Steve Kloves, everyone, who would’ve thought.

6. When they kiss in DH2 spontaneously and Ginny goes “I know,” which many assume to mean that she knows that Harry was about to tell her he loves her. This was also their least cringey on-screen kiss, so extra points for that. ALSO FUN FACT which y’all might know already and I’m just slow but did you know that Daniel Radcliffe and Bonnie Wright actually improvised that kiss scene? There’s an interview online in which DR talks about it (he says something along the lines of “I could die any minute now, Ginny. We should probably kiss” in that very awkward, dry way that he’s known to talk in interviews lmfaoooo.)

7. when Hermione says “how does it feel like, when you see Dean with Ginny?” and after the whole Angry Bird™️ live action moment she performs, Harry goes “It feels like this.” I’m not a huge fan of this scene generally for other reasons but something about this dialogue was very poignant and was a good summary of his feelings even if the actual acting/scripts for other parts didn’t always match up.

8. The deleted scene of Harry desperately clutching Ginny’s hand while marching toward the Great Hall in DH2. Also plot-wise, it makes a lot more sense if they had not removed it because otherwise one is left questioning how Harry showed up in the following scene in which he accuses Snape.

9. In the Epilogue scene where Albus falls behind and Ginny and Harry look at each other with the same cadence as an old married couple who just internally know each other and their child and how to console him. It just screams long-term intimacy and maturity, I love it. The glance happens for a millisecond but it’s definitely, obviously there.

10. In COS where Ginny runs away from Harry when they first meet is honestly the cutest thing in the history of forever. Plus the way Harry runs and I mean runs to her cold almost dead body and grips her hand when he finds her on the Chamber floor.

11. This is less of a Movie Hinny thing but a Movie Ginny thing but you guys. The sheer COMMAND my girl has on the Quidditch field in the match against Slytherin. Even though the focus is on Ron’s victory (another soundtrack song that ranks prolly #5 for me), if you pay attention to Ginny’s plays, she’s absolutely fucking fierce and impressive as hell. To the point that the strength of her Quaffle throw knocked a few Slytherins against the hoops too. Again, it’s subtle but unmistakably, purposefully there.

12. Another Movie!Ginny appreciative moment is literally almost all of her dialogue in GoF. (“I think you’re in love, Ron.” “I’m not wearing that it’s ghastly.” “Don’t be so rude.”) She’s hilarious and where was that sass and spunk in the later movies where they actually mattered??

13. Again, again, again, the friendly but awe-encompassing looks he gives her in OoTP when she beats the shit out of that dummy with her Reducto spell and when he compliments her Patronus (“Excellent, Ginny!”). You can definitely see that the movie producers, director, and whatnot are trying to get viewers to see her at least as powerful and contributive, if nothing else.

SWTOR: On Switching Factions

Faction switching. Your ex-Jedi is disenchanted. Your Imperial Agent wants to work for the SIS. You've been able to declare your loyalty to the other side, and so far all it's gotten you is some questionable cantina meetings.

Spoilers for Iokath, Onslaught and Osssus

I think that despite the challenges, this is something SWTOR's devs will have to approach more directly eventually. Yes, we understand the willing suspension of disbelief, but for some characters it's completely impossible that their old faction would trust them in any way. There's the Jedi Knight, who can be denied a Master title at the end of their class story if they are too dark-sided. There's the smuggler, who may have opened fire on Republic ships and started a pirate empire. There's the bounty hunter, who may have blown up the ship of the Darth they were working for. There's the Imperial Agent who may now work for the SIS. There are all eight classes able to choose to ally with the Sith Empire in KOTET and all eight classes able to freely choose to support either side on Iokath, an act that leads to the death of the other faction's leader.

If a character has been actively working against their old faction for several expacs now, why does it make sense that they would be put in a position of great trust? It doesn't. And yet, on Ossus only Major Anri comments, and then only briefly, if an Imperial sided with the Republic on Iokath. If a Republic character sided with the Empire on Iokath, it's casually brought up in a news interview and then never again. While Tau and Darth Savik can question the player character's judgment, again, there are no repercussions, and they are still left in positions of great authority and responsibility.

At some point, it's going to fall apart. So far, if you are in the Untitled Saboteur Game you have caused major damage to your old faction on Mek-Sha, Onderon and Corellia, as well as more minor damage on Osssus and Dantooine. Somebody should have noticed already, and there's no way it can continue indefinitely. But how?

From a technical standpoint I don't think we are ever going to see a scenario where your character completely changes every single thing about themselves - all their abilities; titles, access to the other side's heroics from earlier in the game, etc. I think there's still much they can do.

New planets, new coding?

I think that trying to recode/flag PCs so they can walk into the opposite faction's fleet or homeworlds would be too much trouble, and lead to nothing but a mess of errors. If a PC who has defected needs to visit, say, Tython or Dromund Kaas they could always do what they did in the SoR Prelude flashpoints, the end of the Jedi Knight story and KOTET chapter 2, and make it an entirely different instanced area or different version of the planet that is not connected to the class story open world.

I also think it would be problematic to try to switch defectors over so they can access the other side's heroics or repeatable quests, so it would perhaps end up being that the old content is still accessible and the newer content is where they are recognized as defectors. There's already a lack of continuity and consistency with the old content so I don't see this as being problematic - for instance the NPC quest giver of the Tatooine bonus series still refers to my Sith Inquisitor as being an apprentice of Lord Zash, even if she is now the Alliance Commander and hasn't had anything to do with Zash in a decade of the story timeline. My level 75 Alliance Commander Sith Warrior can still fight the Hate Machine on Korriban. Yeah, it's out of order, we know, leave it be.

For content going forward, though, I think it could be more feasible. They set up Iokath so Republic OCs who chose to switch faction allegiance could enter the Imperial base and access the Imperial vendors and vice versa. On Dantooine and Onderon there are also specific quests/drop points for saboteurs that differentiate them from loyalists.

There are also quite a few planets where there are clickables, missions and resources which can be accessed by players in both factions from SoR onward. On Rishi, both factions can talk to Harlow Ricks; on Yavin 4, Oricon and Ziost they have the same daily quests. On Zakuul and Odessen all the medical droids, etc. are neutral and can be used by both factions' OCs. Thus, I'm assuming that there are ways to implement things so the bases and NPCs aren't hard-coded to only respond/reject to a specific faction.

New icons?

I'm thinking each class should have a new icon on the nameplate for anyone who has defected. Maybe the same icon they originally had, but in a different color.

New abilities?

I think switching everything would be a coding nightmare that would likely break the characters. However, I've noticed my "fallen Jedi's" eyes going red from time to time now. If they ever raise the level cap or offer a NEW ability or two, I think they could potentially code it so that saboteurs could train an ability more in line with their new faction, ie, a fallen Jedi learning lightning. They already have different abilities for different advanced classes; they could add one universal for all specs that is for saboteurs. There could be a 'secret trainer' on Odessen to teach it - like the training holos on Zakuul and Asylum who can accommodate all eight classes - so it's available to all factions.

New Names?

5/8 of the class names are faction specific. A few, like "Sith Warrior," "Imperial Agent" and "Jedi Consular" could be changed just by lopping off the first word, and there are several like the Smuggler which really don't need anything at all since they are not faction specific, but the others are trickier. But since it's mostly just used on the login screen, it doesn't seem necessary to change it.

As to how the character is addressed in game, that changes several times just over the course of the class stories, and again once you get to SoR and again at KOTFE - the Imperial Agent goes from being called 'Agent' to "Cipher Nine' to 'Legate' to 'Cipher Nine' to Commander, for instance - so the ability to change seems feasible. They could keep using "Commander" as it's a neutral Alliance title. "Agent," "Captain," and "Hunter" are also neutral. The Trooper may have been demoted since they have switched from the Republic to the Imperial military, but they may also may be given the same or a higher title, like General, in recognition of their service as the Commander of the Alliance.

For the Jedi and Sith? This gets tough because switching factions does not necessarily mean they intend to become a Sith or Jedi (Scourge certainly worked with the Jedi Knight without flipping over, for example). As I recall from the Jedi Knight story, the Republic characters completely ignore Scourge's title and do not refer to him as 'Lord Scourge' and I can't see the Sith Empire referring to defected Jedi as 'Master Jedi' either. Perhaps they will need to clarify your Jedi or Sith characters' intentions in the story. They could formally give a Sith lord or Darth title to the Jedi who have switched - Empress Acina or Vowrawn would certainly have that capability. Giving a former Sith a "Master" title might be trickier. The Jedi who were originally Sith seem to have to start at the bottom, and having the Alliance Commander referred to as a padawan would just be...weird. So they could always just go with the neutral Commander in all cases, or other titles like Battlemaster or Wrath.

Companions

I think it's inevitable that a defector will lose some companions - including those considered "main story." There are a few that are so staunchly loyal to their faction that they will not entertain the idea of working with you if you switch. In practice this may end up being like the "departures" that occurred after Ossus, ie, the companions send letters telling you that they are leaving, but they remain active in your companion list and can be accessed and used for questing or crew skill missions at any time.

March rolled around bringing with it another trip to Hogsmeade, happily for you in an early spring snow you got another couple weeks out of your sweaters and fake fur lined leather jacket and scarves before the weather caught up to the date and the tiny blooms split through the snow and spring erupted around you. With it came rains though, and puddles that the Chimeras and Hippogriffs rushed out to frolic in the puddles luring glowing earthworms up to the surface the crows, Fawkes and Idris loved to collect and toss around until their outer shells broke open revealing eight winged moths they chased through the rain drops into the castle in a flying game of tag.

The first two weeks of April held another set of pretests for OWLS and NEWTS for fifth and seventh years, with one last birthday party in the place of RoR club that day for you, Fred and George in turning 18. Next up was the final match Hufflepuff against Slytherin for the final years to face off. With Hogsmeade the following day filled with another set of sales and seasonal based products, mainly the enchanted honey treats from their hives.

May rolled around and with a series of career advising meetings from all the Professors heading houses for the fifth years came with a mini career parade through classes giving plenty of ideas of paths available. All the prepping involved did nothing to prepare you for the exams that reared their heads finally.

Again the other classes were explained to younger years that those Professors would be out for the testing time giving the students free periods while you were all seemingly put through hell in exam form. This time a Professor Tofty was heading the Practical portions of the exams.

Charms – Mon

The written portion was nothing like you had expected. The majority of what you had studied in the previous six years were the minority of it and the obscure references to books mentioned in all your years of studying had taken up the remainder truly testing how far you all had gone into mastering this field.

Out in the main hall after exiting the Great Hall you joined the other students in your assigned lines wondering by the end how many of you would be sitting for exams at all with few careers demanding the scores to apply. Silent charms were listed and each one grew more complex reacting off the others with a few students even giving up before reaching the third charm given to head outside for some air. All passing Professor Flitwick issuing words of confidence that they most likely did better than they had assumed.

Transfiguration – Tue

With another obscure exam truly testing how above and beyond you went from the basic curriculum you yourself had to pause for a moment rubbing your face in a groan when you finally closed your completed packet. The action causing Minerva’s pacing to halt for a moment until your head rose and she caught your deep yawn from the long night of last minute cramming mirrored by the twins and Cedric.

Your first practical test being to select the object on the table that once was a lemur you then had to shift back properly, more a test of chance really you managed to beat easily. Next came the real challenges, a set list of items to shift yourself back from with a time limit for those unable to manage the shift back. Word of your Animagus form however was added to your notes after a demonstration for you and the twins and the two others having chosen their own forms.

Herbology – Wed

Under the watch of Professor Sprout you straightened up with a groan form your hunched position after the focused hunch you had slipped into in the massive packet no doubt even Neville could fall apart trying to master.

Again to the allotted greenhouse you were shown and given some of the most difficult plants to tend and collect from leaving half of the forty students sitting for the exams bitten or scratched by the claw and mouth hiding bulbs.

DADA – Thur

Where Umbridge would be Dumbledore took her place and watched those willing to try for this exam with a hopeful gaze wishing that your club could have been enough to catch everyone up after the terribly useless teachings of a few of your past Professors.

Practical exams seemed to go well for those taking it with only a few losing control of stronger spells halfway through that all dissipated.

Ancient Runes – Fri

Professor Babbling sat quite eagerly over the full set of her students all trying for the exam after having studied so hard. The few dozen students gave hope to the judges overseeing the exams they had wondered to see how popular this course would be.

Potions – Mon

Very few students had chosen to sit for this exam, mainly those with career ties to require the exam. With a smirk Snape observed you, Fred and George easing through the unbelievably large packet with a third simply being your need to correct listed recipes and instructions in properly brewing the potions.

For the practical portion obscure cauldrons are set up in your assigned desks and you were given ingredients to add to each either to correct mishaps or to keep the potion moving in the correct direction.

A final test was to identify poisons and cures with a series of plants or animals with mild ailments easily reversed with the proper doses and potions.

Care of Magical Creatures – Tue

Arguably the smallest number of test takers sat for this with the smallest packet offered with mainly essays for the second half. Outside the practical was mainly a verbal set of questions tasked with care and housing of creatures with a few minor questions on legal requirements for keeping the creatures.

Astronomy – Wed (Midnight)

Midnight found you up in the Astronomy tower where you filled in some of the most eye crossing answers for the packet you and seven others had taken the risk on trying for. The practical test more like the last with designated areas to fill in though not just for their names but for the effects on various creatures or plants.

Divination – Wed

Early Wednesday morning had you and five others took your seats in Professor Firenze’s classroom in desks brought in at the lack of a need for the full hall, also easing the shift of Professor Tofty to each of you asking for various tasks from each of you.

Arithmacy – Wed

After lunch in Professor Vector’s class you sat for your Arithmacy exam. Yet another mind numbingly thick packet with the boards divided up into three sections with equations you had to fill in and correct to solve before a set of verbal problems were given to you. At the first one you paused blinking at the Professor and had to wipe your section clean to copy down the question for your brain to kick start enough for you to get to the right answer.

History of Magic – Thur

A stunning large pack of twelve students sat for the history exam in Professor Binns’ class where it was just the written exam with no practical portion.

Muggle Studies - Fri

Another barely populated exam in Barty’s class for a small packet with a series of odd tests on various muggle subjects and objects including series of laws pertaining to muggle laws and how they meshed with our laws concerning their safety both now and in the past.

Saturday was all clear for you, all classes canceled for seventh years allowing you to sleep in, which was exactly what you did leading to a score of pajama clad seventh years emerging from sleep in varied stages of consciousness for the walk to the Great Hall for lunch. Each of the anxious fifth years especially inching closer asking those who had sat for the exams they had concerns about for tips on what to study. For you it was easily handled as you had given a set list of topics, all vague and approved by the Professors to be used as guidance points for those under you facing the OWLS or the sixth years facing NEWTS the next year.

For two weeks you settled into an easier set of lessons, all free topics on what you wished to learn or recover from years prior in greater detail giving you plenty of time to relax in your final weeks at school.

Gryffindor vs Ravenclaw started off June, a much needed distraction for the fifth years with only another week until their big exams.

Hermione tried for the most with seven with both Harry and Ron trying for five to meet the minimum for Auror status. Neville sat for six along with Draco with a majority of the other fifth years trying for four or more, though none had come close to trying for the full twelve or even the seven Hermione sat for.

A final set of classes came with a big celebratory dinner for your graduating class in your next to last night. On the way to which you came across Luna in the lower halls with Draco, who was casting summoning charms making you ask, “You two aren’t at the feast?” Looking them both over.

Luna grinned at you answering, “Lost all my possessions. Apparently people have been hiding them.”

“That's awful.”

Draco scoffed, “It’s lunacy stealing from our dorm. When I find out who took them I’m, well, I’m going to do something and it won’t be pleasant!”

Luna patted his shoulder grateful for his protection, “Oh, it's all good fun. But as it's the last night, I really do need them back.”

“Do you want any help finding them?” You asked looking over the list you set your glowing hand on in a more powerful summoning spell sending them all soaring for you.

Draco, “This won’t happen next year!”

Luna chuckled weakly saying, “That's all right. Anyway, my mum always said the things we lose have a way of coming back to us in the end. If not always in the way we expect.” All around you her things hovered making Draco straighten up and send them up to their dorm. “Think I'll just go have some pudding.” You nodded and joined the pair to the Great Hall where everyone else was ready to enjoy the final night.

Behind your back Harry, Ron and Hermione from their spot in an open walkway Harry looked you over in the group of other seventh years at your table, “I've been thinking about something Dumbledore said to me.”

Hermione, “What's that?”

Harry, “That even though we've got a fight ahead of us we've got one thing that Voldemort doesn't have.”

Ron, “Yeah?”

Harry nodded as you let out a loud laugh joining the others in looking over the final memory books from the papers for you all to take home as a reminder of your final year, “Something worth fighting for.”

Ron nodded, “We’ll make them proud.”

Hermione, “Things are going to be so different next year without them.”

Harry nodded, “Always felt like home with them here.”

Ron, “Hate to see how different Ginny’s final year is without us.”

Where others headed off to their beds with a few other seventh years you were able to leave a night early. So alongside Cedric, a moonlit stroll from Kings Cross back to the Grimmauld entrance later you settled Cedric into his chosen room and headed off to bed yourselves early so you could wake up in time to meet the returning students in Diagon Alley on their way back from Kings Cross Station. Soundly you slept and in a matching set of purple suits to your pinstriped slacks complete with vest matching the twins to cover the white blouse underneath you all left the house to your store.

Beside you Cedric adjusted his sleeves on his rolled up button down shirt tucked into his jeans matching Oliver’s for the loose dress code for your workers so the teens roaming through would know who works there. A quick stolen hug from your father and uncles came in your hurrying out after breakfast with Percy hurrying with you sharing his new tasks under Rufus since Fudge had been replaced until your paths split.

Just as you’d planned once you had unlocked the shop and all taken your places you caught sight of the students finally arriving with their relatives eager to see what you had managed to create. Hours they bustled through and the shelves emptied, only to be restocked, while you all took turns around the floor sharing details on each item or potion.

As per planned Draco, Neville, Luna and Ginny had all been set on the schedules coming up in their hopes of helping you all out and gain some more cash for themselves over the summer. In the setting of the sun however in your silver eyed path out of your shop the day had changed for you at the vision you had. Sharing the vision you had seen the twins joined you in a trot to Ollivander’s while Fred and George hurried off to Fortescue’s ice cream Parlor. Slack jawed the men listened to your hasty explanations and agreed to Ghoul and shop doubles. Using draconic spells their shops were copied and their Ghoul doubles were left inside as you showed them through your enchanted doorways and faked a public goodbye in the main path witnessed by others as a brief stop in and took the long way back home through the muggle tunnels.

Among the few others in your island hideaways Garrick and Florean both relaxed knowing they were safe and that any students in need of them once their shops were attacked would be shown the way to them. Both having knowledge on the Elder Wand and Ravenclaw’s Diadem, reason enough for you to send a warning off to Dumbledore.

Through the week however the freshly arrived and instructed House Elves K had chosen were off gathering a series of chosen targets they took off to your island hideaways with more and more scooped out shells of houses and shops were left as proof of the missing. More and more the charms you had given to the Muggle borns had been set off upon reading news from their school friends and doubles of them were made with a full island hut was enchanted to stand as the façade for their true homes forming up full blocks filling up quickly by the day. Word of the missing families had been sent to the Ministry only worsening matters with lists of those stolen away growing by the day bubbling up fear. Percy stood as proof of it returning to dinner each night sharing that Rufus had been looking for anything good to help and distract from what was happening.

Shooting up in your sleep after a long day and night in your office to refill your stocks on more of your potions distantly diversions were sent to keep a great crowd of Muggles from crossing a duo of bridges. The Millenium Bridge and the Brockdale Bridge both twisted and contorted snapping to sink into the waters below at the plumes of smoke from the Death Eaters hoping to attack the Muggles traveling across them.

Groggily you sent a note to Petunia alerting her to the news and that the Aurors were looking into it. The Order had looked into it, and with little clues as to who exactly behind it their attentions were sent off to West Country, which was heavily damaged possibly by Giants and more Death Eaters. One of whom was captured by a stray bit of rubble knocking them unconscious into the path of a squib worker who sent for their cousin to alert someone to arrest him.

Through him the Ministry had learned of the location of Amelia Bones and Emmeline Vance’s bodies discovered to be false doubles once the Order had confirmed that the pair and their relatives had been taken and hidden before they could be harmed easing the panic they now had to fake in their supposed absence.

Cornelius Fudge and new Minister for Magic Rufus Scrimgeour visited the Muggle Prime Minister to update him about the cause of the recent disasters and notify him of new security measures including the inclusion of Kingsley Shacklebolt in the Minister’s Office Staff. All while they headed the task of repairing the bridges using new ‘astonishing trial bases building techniques’ to do so that was heavily publicized to distract many from panic for any repeat attacks. After which the new Minister Rufus had to turn his attentions back to the trouble brewing with families writing to the Ministry asking how their children would be safe in the strings of attacks and kidnappings. His chosen path was to write asking Dumbledore to get Harry Potter, a well known student attending Hogwarts to speak in support of the Ministry hoping to calm people down.

On your shared day off with Draco once again you found yourself strolling through that same shielded manor with your mood ring enchanted to keep your hair silvery blue no matter what you felt. Upon entering up to the main hall you felt Fenrir’s eyes on you and his steps shadowing yours. In a nudge of your arm against Draco’s you kept him from looking back at the werewolf shielding his uncertainty of your safety.

Echoes of distant moans and cries of pleasure came from the other end of the manor in your path to the sitting room where you found Barty and Snape waiting there with Narcissa and Lucius. A glare from the latter sent Fenrir off and right to Barty you strolled accepting his hug before one from Snape while Draco hugged his parents and sat between them.

Barty grinned at you saying, “Glad to see you, Love. Saw the shop, incredible.”

You nodded then turned your head to the doorway at yet another cry of pleasure clearly coming from Bellatrix making you ask, “Can’t they muffle the room?”

Lucius swiped his hand and the doorway closed blocking out the sound, “Trust me, you were lucky to have missed the first act.”

“Really, it’s as if Bella and Rudolphus didn’t get any time together in Azkaban at all if she’s that loud.”

Narcissa forced a grin and you sat between Barty and Snape and looked to her as she said, “Rudolphus is out.”

Looking from her to Lucius your head awkwardly turned from Snape to Barty and you stated in an awkward shift in your seat, “Oh gag me with a spoon.”

Barty chuckled easing his arm around your shoulders at Snape saying, “Anything to win back his favor.”

“Oh that’s so wrong.”

Draco even grimaced and in the abrupt cut off your eyes tilted upwards to the sound of a door being thrown open making Lucius mumble, “Oh yay, Fenrir announced you.”

Draco, “No doubt he’ll be in a lovely mood after being interrupted.”

Snape scoffed, “Never a lovely mood to be found here.”

Within a few minutes the door to the room had been thrown open and through it Riddle strolled looking you over as you stood with Draco doing the same. Ignoring the others in the room Riddle focused on you stating, “We should take a turn about the gardens. Corus has been slaving over them hearing of your interest in Herbology.”

You nodded and crossed to his side brushing your shirt down around your middle, with you at his side he turned saying while facing the door, “You too Draco.”

Hurrying after you Draco nodded and kept a pace behind you in Riddle’s sharing the detailed renovations he had been doing, “I hear you sat for all twelve NEWTS, impressive.”

“Thank you.”

He nodded then said, “There was more mentioned in the papers on your shop opening as well as your place on the Kestrals team. All our plans are still being ironed out so do not trouble yourself with minor details and focus on your adventures.”

More and more he seemed to be trying to impress you with his attention to your daily life by Draco’s reckoning and in your being shown to a butterfly decorated fountain he was pulled aside in your closer inspection of something, and instructed, “Draco, my boy. You of course have a task of great importance I am entrusting you with.” Draco nodded and tried not to squirm at the hand placed on his shoulder, feigning comfort at his touch, “You, once you return to Hogwarts are going to kill Dumbledore. Not right away, you will know the proper time. Learn his habits, find a weak moment to strike.”

Draco nodded again, “Of course. I won’t let you down.”

Riddle gave him a grin and clapped him on the back, “Good. I knew I could expect big things from you.” His eyes shifted to your reflection on a glass decoration on Draco’s right, “Learning from the brightest.” At the sound of footsteps approaching Riddle turned and narrowed his gaze at Bellatrix approaching your side.

“Auntie Bella, enjoying the manor?”

Forcing a grin at you she replied, “Of course. I myself am becoming quite comfortable here. I take it you are far too busy to spend more time with our Dark Lord.”

With a smirk you replied, “I have my tasks, you apparently have chosen yours.” Turning your head you grinned at Riddle in his approach taking your side over hers making her inhale forcing her grin to remain in place.

Riddle peered down at you, “I take it you have to return soon?” You nodded and he continued, “Then perhaps you should escort young Draco back, between the two of you I am certain you can master this task.” Leaning in he whispered by your ear in Parseltongue, “Do what you can to find a place in Hogwarts. Watch him.”

Nodding again you answered, “I will. The garden is lovely. Once I find an entry I will send word.” Back to the Manor you led Draco, quickly informing the others you had been sent off again and that you would share your assignments later. Though at the wink from Barty in a comment he would drop by later Bella looked him up and down and moved to begin subtly questioning Barty on his attachment to you he refused to budge on.

Along the path outside Draco peered up at you and stated, “He wants me to kill Dumbledore.”

“That explains why he wants me to find a place in the school.”

Draco, “A place, you mean work there?”

“I would assume so. In the least I could manage a job at Hog’s Head or something. Patricia and all them managed to sneak in, no doubt I could manage it.”

Draco, “We’re not actually going to do this, are we?”

You flashed him a plotting grin comforting him greatly, “Dad is off today, I think it best we invite Dumbledore over for some tea.”

Grimmauld Place was revealed for you soon enough after a drive using your father’s bike left hidden inside the front gates. Riding the bike into the garage door revealed by the front door you parked and climbed off of it adjusting the hem of your jeans over your heeled boots then you made the walk upstairs. The sound of soft chatter grew and by the time you had reached the dining room you recognized the sound of the Headmaster in question speaking with your father and Minerva. Turning the last corner you caught sight of him and his grin spotting you entering the room, “Ah, Miss Jaqi herself.”

Your father turned and you flashed the pair a grin at his calling out, “Pumpkin, Dumbledore here was just talking about you.”

Taking the seats across from the Professors you accepted the cup of tea Minerva poured for you and took a sip at her saying, “Glad we caught you. Day off?”

You nodded lowering your cup, “Just back from Riddle’s.” Making their expressions drop.

Draco, “About that, we should probably tell you,”

In Draco’s glance at you Dumbledore asked, “Another target?”

You nodded and replied, “You.”

All he did was nod in return, then you glanced at your father in Draco’s saying, “Surely we could think of something?”

After your next sip you stated, “Or we could just kill you first.”

Making your father smirk and say, “We have been getting quite good at that.”

Turning your head again you caught Dumbledore’s own plotting grin saying, “I am certain we can discuss those details later. Until then, the reason I came over was to offer you in fact, a position.”

“Position?”

He nodded, “Yes, and also I had wished to request your aid in another matter as well pertaining to my offer of employment.”

After a glance at your father you asked, “What sort of employment?”

“Potions Professor,”

“Potions, what about Severus?”

Dumbledore chuckled and said, “Oh, that is part of my request for aid. You see, I intend to try to get Professor Slughorn under employment again, meaning Severus would be moved to Defense Professor.”

“But, Slughorn is a Potions Professor, why would you need me?”

Behind you Snape entered saying, “Because Slughorn has always been an OWL and NEWTS level Professor.”

Dumbledore nodded, “Exactly. You would be filling the position to teach the first through fourth years.”

You looked to Snape and he stated, “It is a great offer, and no doubt you are the only candidate I would have as my replacement, even over Slughorn.”

“And if he doesn’t wish to return? Regulus had to talk him off the ledge nearly when we met him, thought we were there to kill him.”

Dumbledore chuckled and your dad said, “See, told you she would be able to help calm him down.”

Dumbledore, “If he does not wish to return then we would be offering you the full position, if you would be willing to accept it.”

In a glance at Barty who nodded after sipping on his cup of tea he poured himself you looked back to Dumbledore and nodded, “Why not, I mean, I could always go to Severus for advice if I get stuck on possible lessons.”

Snape chuckled and set a journal down in front of you, “I assumed you might be in need of a few pointers. Copies of my lesson plans in case you need them. Though I doubt you would not be able to discover your own footing in time.”

“You knew about this?”

Snape, “I had assumed if you were to accept a teaching position Potions is where you would be started out.”

Barty chuckled and said, “Besides, who better than to instill safety in the future students than the one who slapped Riddle across the face and lived to tell about it.”

Narrowing your gaze at him he smirked back at you and you took another sip of your tea starting to look at the first listed potions Dumbledore again stated, “It hopefully won’t take long to convince him. Just need to pop by and grab Harry.”

Looking up at him again you asked, “Harry?”

Minerva, “Oh yes, if he does decide to teach again you and Harry would be a lovely prize to lure him back again.”

Draco, “Prize?”

Snape, “Yes. He likes to collect students he deems to be of great value to the world. Myself, Barty, Lucius and Regulus included.”

You looked to your dad who shook his head, “I wasn’t up to snuff in potions class. Remus nearly made the cut but he missed a few classes too many.”

HISTORY OF LUANG PHU TUAD OR LUANG PHU THUAT

Hundreds of years ago, there were four great revered Buddhist monks from Southern Thailand who earned the title of Somdet rank. These four great holy monks are listed as follow:

1. Somdet Chao Koh Yor

2. Somdet Chao Koh Yai

3. Somdet Chao Chom Thong

4. Somdet Chao Phra Kho - Luang Pu Thuat

In this instant, we solely base the history of Somdet Chao Phra Kho “ Luang Pu Thuat ”. According to legend, Somdet Chao Phra Kho attained his rank from King Maha Thammaraja of Ayutthaya and he was bestowed the official title Phrarajchamuni Sameeram Khunupanachan. Luang Pu Thuat was born on Friday in the year of snake, March 1582 AD at Baan Suan Chan, Chom Phol sub-district of Sathing Phra District, Songkhla Province. His father Hu and his mother Chan named him Pu, Pu was the couple first child. Hu and Chan were very poor couple who works and lived in a farm house belongs to their wealthy landlord. When Pu was few days old, Chan took her little baby Pu out to the paddy field with her husband, before they start to work, Chan put her little baby Pu to sleep and leave him alone under a tree where she and her husband tended the paddy field, after working for a while Chan turned around and was shock to see her little baby Pu bringing curled up by a huge snake, whereupon she shouted her husband for help, with her crying voice, peasants nearby rush to see what is the commotion but were hold back by this fierce huge snake and none of them dared to go near and are helpless to do anything to help little Pu that were wrapped up by this huge creature. As a faithful Buddhist, Hu and Chan just hope and prays by offering food and flowers to this huge creature hoping that it would not harm and release little baby Pu, as they will waiting and wishing for miracle, they could see and sense that this huge snake clasped their beloved little baby Pu like a guarding angel. Soon after, this huge Snake released little Pu and disappeared into the bushes leaving behind a crystal ball beside little Pu. Hu and Chan was relieved of their ordeal and they went back home with Pu together with the crystal ball. When the landlord heard and learned about the crystal ball, he asks Hu and Chan to give it to him, the couple could not refuse the request and handed the crystal ball to him. The landlord was so happy to own and possessed the crystal ball but abnormal incidence started to happen to his family and his health condition keep him worrying, by then, he realized that he should not possessed the crystal ball that doesn’t belong to him, cause he believes by keeping it, there would be more disasters befall on him. Therefore, he decided to return the crystal ball to the Hu’s family, thereafter this unusual incidence ceased to happen to the landlord again and because of this bad incident, the landlord has changed his attitude and treated kindly to the Hu’s family.

When Pu turned seven year old of age, his parent took him to Wat Di Luang school for his primary education, he was the most smartest and cleverest student compared to other children in his classes, once Pu turned fifteen, the chief abbot of Wat Di Luang ordained Pu as a novice and later on brought him to Wat Si Yang to under studies Buddhism with Phra Kru Lattham Rangsri. At Wat Si Yang there was a group of monk’s educator from Krung Sri Ayutthaya who came to teach at Wat Si Yang where they found out Pu was a fast learner and very distinctive from other novices, Pu was elevated to higher level where he completed his Buddhist studies under Phra Kru Chuang guardianship. To achieve another level of Buddhist studies, Pu have to move to Wat Sri Ma Muang at Nakhon Sri Thammarat province to further his studies with Phra Kru Gha Ther. When Pu reaches the age of twenty he was ordained as a full status monk and was given the new title named Sameramo but many villagers tended to called him Sameram. The ordination ceremony were held at a small canal and were done on the raft which made of four small sampan tied up together. Later that small canal was named Klong Tha Pair to the present day.

The young monk Sameramo “Pu” completed his Dhammapada Boriboon within three years under Phra Kru Gha Ther supervision, whereupon Sameramo “Pu" requested Phra Kru Gha Ther permission to allow him to further his studies in Tripitaka and Dhamma at Krung Sri Ayutthaya. After listening to Sameramo “Pu” request, Phra Kru Gha Ther arrange and requested Khun Inn the ship owner to take Sameramo “Pu" onboard to travel with him to Krung Sri Ayutthya, Khun Inn had no objection and agreed to take Sameramo “Pu” there, before the ship depart Nakhon Sri Thammarat, Khun Inn invited Sameramo “Pu” to pay respect to the sacred stupa “ Buddhist Pagoda” this is the tradition for all seafarers for safe journey before heading to the open sea, the first three days of sea voyage was smooth navigating, but the following day the weather and sea conditions turned rough and stormy whereas the ship cannot go on any further and has to stayed anchored waiting for the weather condition to turn better. During this time, the ship rations and water happen to run out and Khun Inn was very enraged and blamed the whole incident on the monk Sameramo “Pu” because Khun In ship journey never encounter such a bad weather condition, and as such he instruct his sailors to let down a small boat and ousted the monk Sameramo “Pu” and ask his men to send him back to shore, While the monk Samaramo “Pu’ sat on board the small boat, he put one of his foot into the sea and start to recite, after a short time he ask one of the sailor to scoop up some sea water to taste it, when the sailor tasted the water he was alarm that the sea salt water had turned into fresh drinking water by screaming to his fellowmen and say that the sea water are really fresh for consumption. On hearing such miracle news, the ship owner Khun Inn and the crews rushed to fetch the water within the parameter where the monk Sameramo “Pu” was seated. After drinking and collected adequate water, the ship owner Khun Inn feel regretted for what he has done to monk Sameramo “Pu” and ask for his forgiveness. Monk Sameramo “Pu” was invited back on board the ship, with the weather and sea condition started to change better, the ship owner Khun Inn ordered his men to start the ship to complete their final destination toward Krung Sri Ayutthaya City. When the ship arrived at Krung Sri Ayutthaya port, Khun Inn invited monk Sameramo “Pu” to visit the inner city but monk Sameramo “Pu” decline the invitation and say that he preferred to stay outside the Krung Sri Ayutthaya city at Wat Raja Nuworn located outside the city wall where there is more peace and serenity.

One day the king of Krung Sri Ayutthaya urgently summons his subordinate Srithanonchai Sangkhakiri to his palace and instructed him to invite every knowledgeable high priest from around the kingdom to decipher and translate all the gold seeds sacred scripture presented by the Sri Lanka envoy or else Krung Sri Ayutthaya kingdom has to come under the administration of King Wattakaminee of Sri Lanka. The King of Sri Lanka loved to bargain and wager instead of war to expand his kingdom, therefore he ordered and instruct his goldsmith to produce 84,000 pieces of gold seeds engrave with sacred alphabets with the size of tamarind seed. The completed sacred gold seed of 84,000 pieces and other valuable treasures were handed to seven highly respected Brahmin envoy and to be transported by seven ships, all the treasures and 84,000 pieces of sacred gold seed scripts are be presented to King Maha Thammaraja of Krung Sri Ayutthaya directly with message from the King of Sri Lanka. When King Maha Thammaraja read the royal message from the King of Sri Lanka, he realised it was a challenge for him to decipher and translate the sacred alphabets into a book of Dhamma within seven days, if King Maha Thammaraja could not accomplish this undertaking within the stated time, Krung Sri Ayutthaya has to pay tribute and come under the control of Sri Lanka, and if King Maha Thammaraja could accomplish this translation, he can have all the treasures and keep the sacred gold seeds sacred scripts in Krung Sri Ayutthaya.

On the sixth day, King Maha Thammaraja was very worried because none of the highly invited priests could translate the gold seed sacred scripts, which means his kingdom sovereignty will fell under the administration of Sri Lanka. Later that night he has dreamt of a great white elephant from the west stepping on his throne in the royal palace and then roars out loud into four directions, King Maha Thammaraja woke up and feels very anxious where he could not sleep till dawn. Early in morning, King Maha Thammaraja went into common court room and summons the whole astrologers to interpret his dream, after checking all the details thoroughly the astrologers told King Maha Thammaraja that his dream meant no harm to him but expressed that the elephant from the west suggest that there could be a knowledgeable monk residing in the west that may solve and translate the gold seeds sacred scripts. With that perspective in mind, King Maha Thammaraja ordered Srithanonchai Sangkhakiri to seek out a monk from the west where Wat Raja Nuworn was situated, after inquiring around in Wat Raja Nuworn compound, he chance upon a young monk and asks where he was from and the young monk reply to Srithanonchai Sangkhakiri that he is from Loong city ( Presently Phatthalung Province ) and is here to studies for his Tripitaka degree, on hearing the answers, Srithanonchai Sangkhakiri told the young monk of the dilemma and request made by King Maha Thammaraja and asked whether he could help solve and translate the gold seed sacred scripts, and without any hesitation, Phra Sameramo agree to try but would not guarantee that he will success in translating the gold seed sacred scripts. Srithanonchai Sangkhakiri then brought Phra Sameramo back to the palace’s Phra Viharn hall where senior Sangha already assembled, before entering the Phra Viharn hall, Phra Sameramo stepped onto one of the laterite staircase that suddenly broke into two. After Phra Sameramo entered the Phra Viharn hall, King Maha Thammaraja ordered his servant to lay down a carpet for the young monk to be seated, and before he start to translate the gold seeds sacred scripts from Sri Lanka, he recites some of the Dhamma manuscript in front of the seven Sri Lanka Brahmin with all sort of gesticulations. Meanwhile, the seven Sri Lanka Brahmin exchange word among themselves and wonder is this the young monk who is going to translate the gold seeds sacred scripts into a Dhamma book and wondering why the young monk acted so strange in front of them. The young monk Sameramo started to laugh and asked the seven Brahmin “ Have you all not seen any of my actions that made before in your homeland ? all the Brahmins were very curious but did not respond to the question asked. Subsequently, each of the seven Brahmin handed the bucket filled with the gold seeds sacred scripts to the young monk Sameramo, after taking over all the buckets from the seven Brahmin, Phra Sameramo started to vow for success in translating the gold seeds sacred scripts to save his country and peoples from disasters and aggression. With good faith and will powers to assist him, he emptied all the buckets and lines all the gold seeds sacred scripts in orderly manner without difficulties and began to recite all the gold seeds sacred scripts but then again he recognized there were seven missing seeds with the words of Su, Vi, Ta, Pu, Ga, Ya and Pa to complete the final sentences, with his stunning powers and ability, he turned around and asks the seven Brahmin envoy have they kept the seven missing seeds to deterred him from completing the whole interpretation, with his word of queries the seven Brahmin feel remorseful and handed over the remaining seven gold seeds to Phra Sameramo where he successfully completed the whole Dhamma interpretation into book within the agreed day and time, Immediately King Maha Thammaraja and his Royal court officials resounded in jubilation, at that moment the seven Sri Lakan Brahmin envoy presented all the treasures and the gold seeds to Phra Sameramo but he in turned offer all the gifts to King Maha Thammaraja.

With such a great an achievement, King Maha Thammaraja bestowed and elevated Phra Sameramo rank and title to Phrarajchamuni Sameeram Khunupanachan and at the same time offered Phrarajchamuni Sameeram Khunupanachan a new residence plus 25% percents of the city land, Phrarajchamuni Sameeram Khunupanachan only stayed three days at the new places and he nonetheless returned all the gifts given to him by the King and went back to reside at Wat Raja Nuworn to continues his Tripitaka and Dhamma studies.

Years later, a deadly disease were spreading around Krung Sri Ayutthaya where large number of general population felled sick and were unable to find any antidotes to contain the diseases, the King was very concerned for his subjects well-being and with infections that are transmitting in the kingdom, he urgently summons all the court officials to discussed what are their contingency plans in containing the diseases. Eventually the whole epidemics decreased gradually. After learning the miracles of lustral waters produced by Phrarajchamuni Sameeram Khunupanachan, the Kings begin to have more faith on Phrarajchamuni Sameeram Khunupanachan and publicised that whatever request or essential items Phrarajchamuni Sameeram Khunupanachan required, he promised that all his requests will be deliver and be make available to him.

Since leaving his hometown for a long time, Phrarajchamuni Sameeram Khunupanachan decided to return to the South because his age is catching up. The revered Phrarajchamuni Sameeram Khunupanachan went to seek permission to leave from King Maha Thammaraja and yet the King was very reluctant to let the revered monk go, in spite his pleads and appealed, revered Phrarajchamuni Sameeram Khunupanachan stilled insist of leaving, despite the fact, King Maha Thammaraja felts very sad but can only do his best by sending the revered monk off to the end of the city gate with guard of honour and general public lining the street biding farewell and wish that the revered monk will come back one day. The Kings last word to Phrarajchamuni Sameeram Khunupanachan is “ Please do not leave me and people of Krung Sri Ayutthaya forever “

Along the way to the South, whatever places Phrarajchamuni Sameeram Khunupanachan passed or stayed, that location has became a sacred place which drawn many villagers attentions until this day. Case in point is Pakpanang district in Nakhon Sri Thammarat province where villagers build a Stupa in remembrance of him and the Stupa still stand there till to this day. Phrarajchamuni Sameeram Khunupanachan ended his journey at Wat Ratchapraditsathan or Wat Pha Kho where he was well received by villagers who learnt of his reputation and his mystical powers in helping the people of Krung Sri Ayutthaya that made him a household name. From that onward villagers started to addressed him Somdet Chao Phra Kho, and Wat Phra Kho also known as Wat Ratchapraditsathan till to this present day.

According to record, Wat Ratchapraditsathan or Wat Pha Kho was built by three famous monks in the old day. They were:

1. Phra Narai Mui

2. Phra Maha Anomatassi

3. Phra Dhamma Ghawa

According to history, Phra Maha Anomatassi was the one who brought back the Buddha relics from India whereas Phraya Thamma Rungkul the governor of Phra Sathing district of that time built a 40 metres high Stupa for Wat Pha Kho to store the Buddha relics where the Stupa stilled stand today.

After staying at Wat Ratchapraditsathan or Wat Pha Kho for a period, Revered Phrarajchamuni Sameeram Khunupanachan notice that the Monastery was in such a debilitated conditions that require repair and reconstruction, ftherefore he decided to go back to Krung Sri Ayutthaya to seek King Maha Thammaraja assistant for Wat Pha Kho rebuilding, after listening attentive and without hesitation, King Maha Thammaraja ordered his son to gathered all necessary building materials and workforces in preparation for Wat Pha Kho rebuilding construction, moreover, the Kings even ordered his royal craftsman to go down South with revered Phrarajchamuni Sameeram Khunupanachan or Somdet Chao Phra Kho to restored Wat Pha Koh back to its original condition, the reconstruction progress takes number of years before it was fully completed. Meanwhile, King Maha Thammaraja also donated a large piece of land around Wat Pha Kho to Phrarajchamuni Sameeram Khunupanachan where the land faced toward four directions.

1. The North : Facing the direction of Peninsula of Chom Phut.

2. The South : Facing the direction of Peninsula of Leam Soon.

3. The East : Facing the direction of Gulf of Thailand.

4. The West : Facing the direction of Thale Luang Lake Shore.

While Staying at Wat Pha Kho, Somdet Chao Phra Kho has carried out his daily routines mission by propagating Dhamma and Buddha teaching to many of his disciples as well as villagers. He became a centred figure in near and afar city. During that time, there was a novice monk who is very keen of learning the Dhamma and Buddhist scripture, he vowed and wish that one day he would like to meet Phra Sri Arriya “ Bodhisattva Buddha ” then one night this young novice has a dream of an old man who gave him a flower and says this flower is from the heavenly world and it would stayed fresh forever, the old man too also mentions that Phra Sri Arriya “ Bodhisattva Buddha “ has reborn into this world and is helping the souls of the human being presently in this world. Before the old man depart, he told the young novice that if he wish to meet Phra Sri Arriya “ Bodhisattva Buddha “ all he has to do is presented the flower to whoever that can divulges the name of the flower, then that holy person will be Phra Sri Arriya “ Bodhisattva Buddha ”, after the end of the conversation, the old man just disappeared.

Next morning, the young novice went to see the abbot of his temple and request for permission to leave the temple where he began his journey in pursuit of his dream in seeking out the Bodhisattva Buddha, he went to many places with the flower in hand, but nobody were able to give him an answers. Then one day, he reached Wat Ratchapraditsathan or Wat Pha Kho in the full moon night where all the monks are preparing to enter the sermon hall doing their evening incantation. The young novice just stood outside the sermon hall waiting to see is there any absent monks that still not yet presence in the sermon hall, he then make inquiries with one of the monk, whether is all the monks already in the sermon hall? And the monk replied that there is an old monk still not in sermon hall yet but told the young novice to look at the old living quarter where the senior old monk resided. With that information, the young novice headed toward the direction of the old living quarter, over there he saw an old monk standing in front of the collapsible wooden gate of the living quarter, whereupon he kneels down to pay respect to the old monk. When Somdet Chao Phra Kho saw the flower in the young novice’s hand he said that this Montatip flower can only be found at the heavenly world, then again Somdet Chao Phra Kho asks the young novice who gave him the flower? By then the young novice realized that he has met the enlighten Bodhisattva Buddha as he recalled the old man telling him on his dream. Without second thought the young novice placed both his hands in a lotus shape on his forehead and kneel down again to pay his full respect with the offering of heavenly flower to Somdet Chao Phra Kho, after receiving the flower, Somdet Chao Phra Kho stood silently liked meditation for a while, then invited the young novice to go into his living quarter together with him, once inside Somdet Chao Phra Kho closed the door and from that onward no one ever heard or see both Somdet Chao Phra Kho and the young novice again. Both were vanished without a trace from that night and at the same time some very unusual phenomenon lighted up the sky in and around that area where villagers saw a fireball circling three round above the full moon night sky before heading east till no one eyes could follow the fireball light. From that day onward, everyone believed Somdet Chao Phra Kho and the young novice has attained nirvana and has returned to the heavenly world, and the only things left behind by Somdet Chao Phra Kho ” Somdet Luang Pu Thuat “ were his Crystal Ball and Twisted Walking Cane that is still on displayed at Wat Pha Kho, Sathing Phra district, Songkhla province.

So i’ve always wanted to create my own rec list to return the favour, but somehow never got around to it. So yay years later, here’s at least a start. Will probably sort it better if i update it. But in this story, light talks all his steps through with his inner voices (like „Test It“ aka „Death“, Moral which everyone kinda ignores and also could be called Caution, or Practice). Its less cracky than it sounds now, i promise. Rather, it’s a very interesting character study bc it doesn’t just paint Kira as a sociopath with a god-complex (well, that too -) but explains his actions as being very, very human (while not excusing them). Seems to be dead at 10 chapters but i still would recommend reading it bc its brilliant, the style is a bit like hpmor’s. It explains the thought processes of everyone (L, Light, Misa, Ryuk, all that jazz)) very thoroughly and is also quite amusing (light comparing hinself to batman consantly, e.g.). When you read about fictional characters they can fall kind of flat, not that they’re not interesting but you always know they’re not really like you. Light seems less scary, L less creepy and Misa… well Misa always seems insane, even in the Manga. So Anna Jones is fucking terrified, curses herself for not paying better attention to the details in the manga and has to consider her survival and the prices she’s willing to pay. (Yes, this is the Self-Insert Trope but played so well. Also very philosophical. Ongoing. Also, go read everything by this author while you’re at it.)

A large Pra Bodhisattava LP Tuad amulet made from Din Kakyayak (holy earth), sacred herbal powder, and holy powder given by Pra Archan Nong of Wat Saikaao, and blended with left-over holy materials of Batch of BE 2497 of Wat Chaanghai. In the back is with a Royal Cypher of HRH Princess Petcharat Ratchasuda. This BE 2537 (CE 1994) of LP Tuad amulet was made by LP Nain, the Abbot of Wat Sri Sudaram, Bangkok for fundraiser of the restoration works of Wat Sri Sudaram (the temple under Royal support of HRH Princess Petcharat Ratchasuda), and to commemorate 70th Birthday Anniversary of HRH Princess Petcharat Ratchasuda. The 2 Blessing Ceremonies were held Wat Chaanghai, Patani Province, and Pra Archan Nong of Wat Saikaao was Master of the ceremony. And later at Wat Sri Sudaram, Bangkok, LP Utama of Wat Wang Wiwaygaram, Kanchanaburi Province was master of the ceremony.
