on a somewhat more serious note I see a lot of people complaining about Vaggie's unhealthy perspective of her relationship with Charlie and how her whole existence is devoted to supporting her partner but I think the flashback to her losing her wings helps explain it

like of course it's unhealthy, but she has room to grow and that's what storytelling is all about, and it makes sense that she is so single-mindedly devoted to Charlie because she lost absolutely everything and Charlie was the first and only new thing to enter her life since

she doesn't have other interests or reasons for living because she lost all of that when she was expelled from heaven, but I look forward to seeing her develop as a person and the evolution of Chaggie to a much healthier place

relationships in media don't have to be perfect, it's realistic that many of these relationships have unhealthy aspects but that's what makes us root for them is that they can improve

Monkey D Luffy is incredible cause the second you’re prepared to suspend your disbelief at his cartoony antics in this cartoony world it’s revealed that he’s also a total freak cartoon in-universe. You’re reading this fun goofy manga with its fun goofy art style in which almost every choice is made with the intent to make the author laugh only to realize that the fun goofy people are horrified of his Bugs Bunny Ass. Their best friend is a talking bear their wife has 7 eyes and is shaped like a trombone and STILL they’re constantly doing double takes whenever this Normal Looking Teenager does ANYTHING because he’s so fucking weird. Then after a while when they’re all used to it cause he’s Fun and Funny and they’ve got other things to worry about considering they live in a dystopia where the worst people are casually 16 feet tall he goes “heehoo would you look at the fucking time” and activates one of his Monkey D Goofy™️ Fighting Modes, takes his eyeballs out Funny Style and beats a man to death. And then the people AND the audience have to get over their horror all over again cause this honk shoo mimimi looney tunes motherfucker just declared he’s gonna overthrow the gvt and considering he’s just EXPLODED an entire island with the power of teehee hehehe hoohoo you’re starting to think that he Really Just Might ISN’T HE THE BEST!!!

Has anyone experienced their art becoming distorted in their head?? Especially the faces???

I just recalled this issue I'll sometimes have.

Right, I'll make a ref and maybe something about the faces are off, example the eyes are too big or something. However, it looks fine.

But much later I will imagine seeing that art with extremely weirdly distorted faces especially the problem areas such as those eyes. Almost will look like someone put on a filter.

I would describe it as some kind of dysmorphia but with art. (I'm hoping I'm using that word correctly )

Anyone else experience this?

Like I'll go back to said art to fix it, and it looks fine. It's so strange to me.
