Hello! I decided to make this post both for personal reference and for other people to find music to listen to while studying. I think many of the artists I mention are really well known, but I’ve found that these albums help me concentrate while I’m working, so I hope they help someone else too!

The Rise And Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars - David Bowie.
Unknown Pleasures - Joy Division.

How do you show possible followers that you are a writer and gain interaction? What kind of posts or reblogs did you focus on in the early stages of this blog?
I actually didn’t start this blog at all with the intention of sharing my writing on it. It isn’t really a writing blog, either - I really just post what I like (that art history sort of thing) I gained followers because of that content (at least, I think that’s what they’re following for). I only shared my writing later on. However, to interact and share your writing more, you can use tags like #writers on tumblr or #spilled ink, or even tag people who you want to see your stuff (for example, I follow #rpblcofletters and #therepublicofletters - feel free to tag me!). I think it’s also good to directly interact with other people who you follow, even if they don’t necessarily follow you. When my blog was new, I befriended a few people who I knew were very popular and they eventually reblogged my stuff, which in turn gave me more followers. I think it’s harder with writing than with aesthetic posts/photos, though. Doing ask memes and joining networks are also good ways.

I started following the tag "rpblcofletters" instead of the other one I was following because too many other things were coming up. If you want to tag me in any original posts, use this!
