I think about your art "Ribbonwood" a lot, by the way. It's one of my favorite pieces ever. The colors, the meaning, the pose… I love Hyrule so much and every time you draw him I love him a little more.

hi i just wanted to confess that u are genuinely one of my biggest inspirations when it comes to writing because of how raw and detailed your works are and i know it’s a bit silly (which is why i’m saying it on anon teehee) to say, but i want to thank you for being a writer. reading your stories no matter which ones they are always inspire me and gives me the motivations to write fics with huge word counts or just writing in general because there’s that little “wow, if my fav can do it, i can too” mindset for me.

There's something about listening to old recordings of myself. And not even super old, this one was probably five or six years because I know who I would have recorded it for and, based on stuff I talked about it, it was pre-Bandit has a capo. Not the point.

There's something about listening to old recordings of myself. To hearing me play the guitar and not hit all of the chords right. To hearing the alarm in the background because the battery was dying and a new one didn't fix it and I was too scared to take the batteries out and leave it that way. To hearing myself ramble on for four minutes at the beginning of a song after saying, "This is the one where I just record the song without a really long beginning," and then following that with, "I've been practicing for an hour - THE FIRST RECORDING IS NOT THAT LONG," pause to consider how long the last recording was, "IT ISN'T AN HOUR." To hear myself say, "You don't even have to listen to the other one, I completely understand, I just think it's...." because I've already listened back to old recordings of myself and liked listening to them and probably knew then that I would with this one.

To listen to myself and think, Oh, you gay little awkward kiddo, you are SO adorable, and know that however much past me might have hated myself, future me thinks I'm super cute. In an adorable awkward aw shucks rambling sort of way.

To listen to myself from the past and love myself in the past and use that to maybe love myself a little bit more in the here and now.

Because me from further in the future would probably love me in the now just like me in the now loves me in the past.

Adorable and awkward and broken and all, you're still cute.

And I love you.
