DAY 1652) SOUND VOLTEX III GRAVITY WARS - GEOMETRIA
Composer: Shiron
The official in-game barlines are (at 256bpm):
(0:01 - 0:11) 9/4, 7/4, 5/4, 7/4, 12/8, 7/4, 3/4
(0:11 - 0:26) 16 bars of 4/4
(0:26 - 0:37) [7/4, 5/4]x3, 4 bars of 3/4
(0:37 - 1:00) 32 bars of 3/4
(1:00 - 1:13) 5/4, 5/4, 6/4, 5/4, 7/4, 6/4, 6/4, 4 bars of 4/4
(1:13 - 1:19) 5/4, 5/4, 6/4, 8/4
(1:19 - 1:26) 8 bars of 3/4, 2 bars of 4/4
(1:26 - 1:37) 16 bars of 3/4
(1:37 - end) 9/4, 7/4, 5/4, 7/4, 4 bars of 12/8, 5 bars of 4/4
Lots of mixed meter bits, although the barlines are generally pretty clearly divided so it's not too hard to keep track of what's going on. Funnily enough, the hardest part of the song to follow might be the second half of the 4/4 section at 0:11; the syncopation there makes it easy to lose track of the downbeat. The short 7/4 + 5/4 section that immediately follows that is also cool, very prog.
(Thanks to CHz for doing this post for me today again!)

Okay so what if the JoJos had an S/o who's like, insanely good at rhythm games. Like she can play SDVX III, Cytus, DDR or Dance Rush on expert mode and get full combos and perfects and invites them to play with her (They can go on easy mode). I'm on a roll with perfect combos today and I think their reactions would be cute ^^ Thank you!!
I actually never played one of those in my entire life so bear with me l m a o
Jonathan:
- He sure knows how to dance in the traditional sense but he has never attempted playing one of those rhythm games.
- Trips over his feet like ALOT at first. S/o would just chuckle as they'd do perfect combos one after another and Jona would just watch them in admiration.
- By the time it would be over poor man would be sweating like crazy and trying to catch his breath. He'd laugh in embarassment once he'd notice that the mere easy mode made him so out of breath, but s/o would reassure him and tell him that he did a great job nonetheless.
Joseph:
- Technically he fucking sucks at rhythm games but he has insane reflexes that actually help him carry out all the moves.
- S/o would almost be envious of him. He'd immediately react and move fast as lighting. The two would soon compete against eachother to see who fucks up first.
- After endless rounds of dancing they would both stop at the same time. The two of them would be sweating and panting like crazy and s/o would just call it a draw. Joseph being Joseph would tell them that one day he's definitely going to beat them.
Jotaro:
- Probably the one that sucks the most. He's a big ass lanky motherfucker that misses almost all moves and gets frustrated very quickly.
- He's doing this for s/o and honestly seeing them so happy is all that matters to him, even if in this moment he looks like an absolute clown next to his skilled as fuck partner.
- At some point he stops trying and just lets s/o win already. He congratulates them afterwards and tells them that he won't do this again because the entirety of people in the room kept watching him.
Josuke:
- Rhythm games lord right here. S/o got themselves some mad competition. If you think this boi didn't spend h o u r s in arcade rooms playing all sorts of games (including rhythm ones) and perfectionating himself at them then you're w r o n g.
- Will even be close to beating s/o, assuming he didn't beat them at some point already. Boi's got m a d skills and doesn't miss one fucking move. He's got almost Joseph like reflexes.
- The two would be sweating their asses off as they would compete with eachother. At some point the pair would even draw a crowd and people would be cheering for them the entirety of time.
Giorno:
- A decent dancer in general, although he ain't the best at rhythm games. He has good reflexes but when it starts going faster he loses it.
- He'd glance to his skilled s/o trying to imitate their moves but fail almost immediately. They are simply too good for him.
- Softly wryyys once he loses again or misses more moves. It would be kinda adorable tbh and s/o would kick his ass even more just to see that cute angry expression on his face.

SOUND VOLTEX III - PC Version (eAMUSEMENT Cloud) Guide (Beta UPDATE 6/2!)
Konami’s popular Sound Voltex series is finally coming to PCs, with the help of eAMUSEMENT Cloud, similar to last year’s beatmania IIDX INFINITAS release.
The game is currently in Open Alpha Testing, with no specified end date listed. On the official website, various details are listed, with one major important feature:
-FAQ- (Update 6/2)
How much will the game cost to play? The Alpha version is free, but the Beta (coming soon) will require buying tickets with PASELI.  The price is similar to the arcade. Check out this chart:
The real cost, bonuses included, is a better deal. With maximum bonuses, you can play for as little as 92yen per Light Start (about $0.82) or ~$1 per Standard Start:
You must buy the tickets using PASELI. To do this, check out our guide here.
Will there be data syncing between eaCloud and Arcade versions? Yes. Your player data/name/status will sync, and furthermore, songs unlocked on either version will transfer to the other. Except for exclusive/not-added songs.
What controllers can be used? The best option is the official controller, but keyboard input is also acceptable. Other manufacturer’s controllers are unsupported. (*However, those manufacturers will most likely update the controllers’ firmwares to be 100% compatible. There are various workarounds.)
The game is slow, has timing issues, does not work, etc… The game is designed to be run on a dedicated arcade cabinet, with no other software installed, or at least nothing major running in the background. USB audio is not recommended, nor is HDMI output. Antivirus software should be configured to whitelist the application (sv3c.exe) USB hubs for controllers are not recommended.

  -How To Play-
Step 1: Sign Up for a Japanese-region KONAMI ID (eAmusement Account) If you have one, great. If not, read our guide here.
Step 2: Make sure you have an eAmusement Card linked to your account, or if not, get a Virtual Card here.

NOTE: Analog Knobs have two setting for Counter-clockwise (Left) and Clockwise (Right) The “Map Buttons” window lets you easily assign any keys:
For players using 3rd-party controllers (specifically, DJ Dao/Gamo2’s SVSE series), you may be able to use the controllers with SDVX3Cloud:
Tip from Drewol via Plasmapie:
https://glovepie.en.softonic.com/ GlovePIE script for SDVX III cloud //change the variable to change the xy it locks //exit by Shift+P+I+E
var.lock_x = 200 var.lock_y = 200 Keyboard.Q = (Mouse.CursorPosX < var.lock_x) Keyboard.W = (Mouse.CursorPosX > var.lock_x) Keyboard.O = (Mouse.CursorPosY < var.lock_y) Keyboard.P = (Mouse.CursorPosY > var.lock_y) Mouse.CursorPosX = var.lock_x Mouse.CursorPosY = var.lock_y
  For Virgoo TurboCharger players:
Use JoyToKey to map your joypad buttons to keyboard input.
  ForArcinPlayers: (via developer K)
Use one of the following firmwares:
arcin-sdvx-[ac|copal]: Firmware for use with SVRE9 or SVSE5 controllers using either AC or Copal encoders, presented as a gamepad. WS2812B lighting available via B9. (arcin-sdvx-ac is effectively the same as arcin-svre9-alpha2)
arcin-sdvx-[ac|copal]-kb: Same as the above, except presented as a keyboard.
arcin-sdvx-[ac|copal]-nolight: Same as arcin-sdvx-[ac|copal], except with WS2812B lighting disabled. This means B9 can be used as a button.
arcin-sdvx-[ac|copal]-kb-nolight: Combination of the two firmwares above. No WS2812B lighting, presented as a keyboard.
    Step 5: ENJOY THE GAME!!
Currently, all Alpha Test users get 1000 in-game “Tickets” to be used to play each round of 3 songs. MAD CHILD played the game at “his home” and showed how it works live on BEnama #174.

DAY 1340) Jubeat Prop - Chloé
Composer: DJ Totoriott
5/4 all the way through here with the exception of the drum break at 1:09.
I count that as a bar of 6/4 where the last beat is a pickup back into the 5/4 again, though you could also write it the other way around (where the part that’s just drums is 5/4 and the next bar starts the beat the accordion comes back in, but is a single 6/4 bar instead of 5/4).

DAY 772) Sound Voltex III Gravity Wars - Witch in Sweetsland
Composer: winddrums, Chroma
(0:02 - 0:07) 4 bars of 4/4
(0:07 - 0:15) [4/4, 4/4, 9/8]x2
(0:15 - 0:19) 2 bars of 13/8
(0:19 - 0:23) 6/8, 7/8, 6/8, 6/8
(0:23 - 1:08) 34 bars of 4/4, 1 bar of 2/4
(1:08 - 1:26) 11/8, 7/4, 11/8, 6/4, 11/8, 6/4, 11/8, 5/4, 4/4, 4/4
(1:26 - end) 25 bars of 4/4
Like a lot of stuff this complex, larger timesigs could be broken down into smaller ones, or smaller grouped into larger, depends on preference.
My favorite part is the incredibly erratic 1:08 section, probably unsurprisingly. Every bar is super syncopated too, and I’m actually surprised with those piano rhythms that no x/16 timesigs came out of that!
Lots of the 4/4 sections are pretty rhythmically out of what you’d expect, mostly with just over the barline 3+3+3+3-etc type stuff though.
