you were on tik tok way too much. and luke was too but definitely not as much as you. he wasn’t on it to the point where he saw the lastest couple pranks when they were still very popular. so of course as his amazing girlfriend you had to pull a little prank on your boyfriend whom you loved so much.

you were sitting on the couch in the house luke shared with some of his hockey buddies. a few of them were sat on other parts of the couch watching tv with heir girlfriends who were going from talking with you and then talking with their respective boyfriends while you sat with a single headphone in on tik tok. luke had sat next to you mere moments before until he had to use the bathroom.

it was perfect timing because that’s when the tik tok pulled up on your “for you page” and gave you the idea to mess with your boyfriend.

the tik tok was of a girlfriend next to her boyfriend. she said some words and then turned to him, he kissed her and she said the words to the camera: “best big brother ever!” and he started laughing.

obviously, you began to think how luke would react to this and knew you had to film this tik tok for yourself.

luke walked out from the bathroom and began to walk over to you till you stood up “babe come here.” you told luke and like a puppy he followed you into the kitchen which was right next to the living room.

you set up your phone and turned to luke who looked at you confused. in the corner of your eye you could also see mark, ethan, seamus and gavin giving y’all some questionable looks. everyone else payed somewhat attention to the both of you with their eyes still trained on the tv.

“okay so when i turn around just kiss me.” you smile up at luke. he was pretty tall compared to you (actually very tall compared to you) so to the camera it was a funny shot.

“okay..” luke gave you a suspicious glance as he watched you step forward to press play. when you backed up in front of luke you began to giggle which made the boys in the living room chuckle and luke laugh at you suspiciously, he knew you had something planned.

“if you wanna get to me, you have to get through him first.” you managed to get out through your giggles.

“preach!” one of the boys yelled from the living room, the culprit being duke tucker. mark let out a laugh at this. the two knew this tik tok and had their eyes glued to the scene.

you turned around to luke and on cue he gave you a kiss. he tried to make it go on for longer but because of the audience before you and the fact that you were in the middle of a tik tok, you broke the kiss and turned back to the camera. “best big brother ever.” you tried to keep a straight face. from behind you both, the boys broke out in laughter and you wish you could rewatch luke’s reaction over and over again like it was the first time.

his jaw dropped as he looked at you and then proceeded to look around awkwardly. “i am not your brother.” his lack of words made the event even funnier to you and all his friends as well. the girls were laughing too and it made the scene all the greater.

luke didn’t know what to do so he grabbed your waist from behind and pulled you into a bear hug “brother?” he laughed “brother?” he repeated, still in disbelief.

“woah big bro you’re getting a little too close there.” luca shouted.

“shut up.” luke laughed as he kissed you “look at what you started.”

You honestly didn’t even want to be at this party, Rutger and Seamus had practically forced you to come. But nonetheless you put on a cute dress and spent the better part of the night under Rutger’s arm. You had grown bored of watching your boyfriend and his friends play beer pong. You pressed a kiss against Rutger’s cheek, “I’m gonna go grab a drink Rut.” Rutger’s hands snaked around your hips as he pulled you into a kiss that left you speechless, “I’ll be here my love.” Your heart soared as you walked out of the room and heard Rutger’s friends poke at him for being overly affectionate towards you. Which he always was when he had when he was drunk.

You entered the kitchen and began to pour vodka into a solo cup. “Pretty lame party right?” You jumped at the voice, you turned around to find it belonged to a boy in one of your lectures, Logan or Landon was his name. You smiled sheepishly, “Could definitely be better.” He grinned at this, as a sinking feeling overcame you, “I’m Landon by the way. Your in my intro to gender in media lecture right?” You nodded, “I think so, I’m Y/N.” He grinned as he grabbed a beer, “A pretty name for a pretty girl.”

Your stomach churned at his words, “Ha thanks.” He had his arm on the cabinet above your head, “You look like you could use something strong. Come on, I have fireball in my room.” You stomach sank, but you’d been drinking beer while observing your boyfriend for most of the night so your judgment was impaired as you agreed and followed him to his room. Your drunken state seemed to poise an opportunity for him. He shut his bedroom door before leading you to the bed. As you sat down you saw the look in his eyes darken as he leaned forward, further and further until his body weight was on top of you. He was easily 6’5 and potentially double your body weight so you had no way of moving.

Anna, Seamus’s girlfriend furrowed an eyebrow as she searched the house for you. She turned to Rutger, “McGroarty, where’s your girl?” Rutger furrowed an eyebrow, “I’m not sure. She said something about going to get a drink.” Anna furrowed an eyebrow as she got up to find you. Landon had both of your hands pinned down with a harsh grip. You had your back to the door, the door creaked open and you heard Anna’s voice, “Sorry, shit my bad, wait Y/N?” She would have recognized the lacy black mini dress on your body, she made it. “Your seriously cheating on Rutger when he’s downstairs?”

Landon was panicking and pulled up his pants and hurried out of the room. Once you realized he was gone from the room you broke into sobs. Anna rushed to your side, she reached out to pull you into a hug when you flinched and your tears streamed down your face, “Anna, don’t tell him.” Anna looked at the bruises forming on your wrists and her jaw clenched, “Okay, honey I won’t tell Rutger but you should.” You sniffled, “He wouldn’t be able to look at me the same. I’m scared Anna.” Anna sniffled, “Can I hug you Y/N?” You nodded through your tears and melted into your friends arms.

You finally calmed down enough to go downstairs with Anna. Rutger, Luca, Seamus, Ethan, Mark and Adam were all still playing beer pong. The game was quickly abandoned as soon as Rutger got a glimpse of your tearstained cheeks and bloodshot eyes. He was immediately heading for you, “Baby, what happened?” You pulled back from him slightly, “It’s my fault. I shouldn’t have been drinking so much.” Luca’s jaw clenched, he put two and two together.

Jazz, Luca’s girlfriend shook her head, “No, you didn’t do anything wrong sweetie.” Rutger’s hands found their way into a ball, “Who did it? I need you to tell me who did this to you.” You let out a small sob, “His name’s Landon. I don’t know anything else.” Adam’s jaw tensed, “Dark hair? Big guy?” You nodded as Anna held you into a warm embrace. Adam turned to his brother, “I’ll be back.” He walked out of the room, “McCarthy!” JJ’s head shot up from the redhead he was doing a body shot off of, “What’s up bro?”

Adam scoffed, “Where’s your boy Landon?” JJ shrugged, “Last I saw him he was headed out back. Why?” Adam clenched his fist, “He just took advantage of my boys girl. I’m about to kick his ass.” JJ shot up, feeling anger course through his veins, “He did what?” Suddenly you were left standing with Anna and Jazz on either side of you. The drinking game long forgotten as your boyfriend and his teammates stormed outside. You insisted on following them.

The minute the backdoor opened, the entire feeling of the backyard changed. Landon was sat on a lawn chair with a perky blonde on his lap. JJ approached the pair and looked at the girl, “If I were you I’d move.” The girl took one look at JJ and got up, sensing the blonde football player was serious. Landon glared at his teammate, “Man I was working my magic here.” JJ scoffed, “I really don’t give a damn dude. Your such a piece of shit.” Landon scoffed and began to speak only to be cut off by Rutger punching him in the face.

Landon barely stumbled and went to retract his fist only to be punched in the face from the opposite side by Luca, “Don’t even try it bitch.” Mark came from behind pulling Landon around and punching him so hard Landon fell to the ground. Landon looked to JJ for assistance, “Bro your not gonna help me out?” JJ crossed his arms, “Not when you take advantage of a drunk girl under the same roof as me. I’m not defending you. You did it yourself.” Landon scoffed, “That’s what this is about? That bitch?” Rutger could have sworn he was seeing red as he pulled his hand back and repeated hit Landon in the face. Only stopping when he saw blood on his hands and saw the horrified look in your eyes. He scoffed, “Expect a appointment with your coach and the dean.” He walked away from him and towards you, “Y/N baby I am so so sorry.” You felt your body give way as you leaned into your boyfriend’s arms.

"girl what?" seamus asked, finally paying attention. "girl what?" you repeated, "it's such a banger. the second i hear the opening, i want to get up and dance." "on your boyfriend," luca teases, and the other guys laugh. "yeah, on my boyfriend. sorry that you don't have one," you snap back, sinking the ball into the cup.

summary: after something pretty big happens in your friendship with Seamus, things are forced to be said when you hear the wrong end of a conversation.

authors note: I’ve never written for Seamus before! Sorry this request took so long, I could never figure out how I wanted it to end.

You were worried that it would change your friendship forever.

Sleeping with Seamus wasn’t your brightest move but it was a move that you had made after one too many drinks at a party. What made you feel really weird about it all though was that you didn’t regret it. Your mind had contemplated the idea of liking Seamus for months now and part of you was ready to let that side of your brain win.

So that’s what brought you to his dorm, you had been in there plenty of times before but you had never been nervous about going in. It weighed on you how you were ready to tell him how you felt but the voices from the other boys stopped you “you’re telling me you have no feelings for her whatsoever?” Luca asked as he let out a laugh.

You pulled your hand away from the door opting to listen instead “none,” Seamus nodded causing your heart to break “I wish I didn’t go,” your mouth went wide as you let out a gasp. A rush of embarrassment ran through your veins.

As tears began to well in your eyes you decided to walk away from the boys room not wanting to hear anymore of what he had to say “you okay?” Adam asked as you bumped into him. The Fantilli boy furrowed his eyebrows as he saw your cheeks begin to turn wet “I’m perfect,” you lied as you quickly pushed past him so that you could get back to your room before you had a full blown breakdown.

Adam continued his walk to the boys dorm as he tried to figure out what could have upset you “was y/n like that in here?” He asked as he opened to door to be met with the confused faces of his teammates “like what?” Seamus was quick to become alarmed at the thought of you hearing what he had said. One of the girls in his science credit had asked him to get coffee with her that morning and it turned out to be the most boring hour of his life. Literally all he did the entire time whilst the girl spoke about herself was think about you.

The younger Fantilli boy shrugged “she looked like she was about to cry,” he explained causing the Devils draftee to groan.

Seamus got up as he knew what he had to do “I’ll be right back guys,” he quickly grabbed his shoes as he had to make his way down the three floors to get to your dorm.

Just as you finished telling your roommate all about what happened a knock came at your door “who is it?” Your roommate called out as she left you on your bed with the box of tissues “it’s Seamus,” your eyes went wide as you shook your head at her when she opened the door.

Your roommate sent the boy a glare “y/n doesn’t want to see you right now,” she explained as she tried to shut the door but the hockey player was too fast as he pushed his hand against it.

Seamus locked eyes with you as you cursed the positioning of your bed “please just let me explain and if you don’t want to talk after that I’ll go.” Both of them looked at you as they waited for a response. You let the thoughts weigh themselves up in your mind as you tried to find a decent answer “fine,” you motioned to him to come in “I’ll leave you two alone,” your roommate sent you a smile before she left.

You were reminded of the fact that you had been crying when Seamus ran his thumb over your cheek “that all wasn’t about you, I promise.” He blurted out as he sat next to you.

In all honesty you didn’t know what to think when he said that “it’s fine if you don’t like me like that but don’t lie to me,” you mumbled as you let out a scoff. Like yes if he didn’t like you it was going to hurt but you’d rather hear him say the truth than lie to you “I’m being serious,” the hockey player confessed as he placed his hand on your knee “this one girl asked me if I wanted to get coffee and on that trip she tried to make a move on me-” you were growing irritated that he was telling you about this “if there is a point could you like get to it?” You asked as you motioned to him to hurry up.

Seamus couldn’t help but smile in amusement at how you were reacting “I turned her down because I couldn’t do that to you,” he announced causing your facial expressions to soften.

His words repeated in your mind as they felt foreign to the tongue “to me?” Was all you could muster out as the questions began to swarm your brain.

He nodded as he hooked two fingers under your jaw “I like you y/n.” The words fell from Seamus’s lips as he really didn’t think that this would be the time that he’d be telling you.

It wasn’t often that you were left speechless but in that very moment you had no clue what to say to him “you do?” It would have made anymore laugh at how shocked you sounded.

The hockey player nodded as he licked his lips “yeah,” you couldn’t help but smile as you internally screamed “I don’t go around sleeping with girls I don’t like.” He added causing you to laugh.

It was a sound he knew he’d never get sick of “are we good now?” Seamus asked as he cocked his head.

You nodded as you smiled “we’re great,” you leaned forward to kiss him as it was your way of showing him that you felt the same “you wanna get that?” You asked letting your forehead rest on his “it’s just the boys wondering when I’ll be back.” Seamus shook his head causing you to laugh once again as he softly pushed your back so that it would hit your mattress.

when you and seamus were both finally 18, he was nhl draft bound and umich bound. you decided to follow him there both having gotten accepted and on scholarships. your parents couldn’t have been more proud, even going as far to throwing a party.

seamus was always so protective of you, always making sure you were okay. there was never a time where you were crying and he wasn’t there to hold you and tell you everything was going to be okay. he never liked talking to many people, he was kept to himself and you were the only person to bring him out of his shell. he was so nervous for the draft but your smile and pep talks were the only thing that could calm him down, and you couldn’t have been more proud of him for being drafted to the devils.

college came quick. you and seamus leaving your hometown to chase your dreams.

everything was great. you and seamus had a lot of classes together and he even made sure to include you in things he did. which landed you in a frat house at a party after a win against michigan state, one of umich’s biggest rivals. it was winter time, your favorite season but you cant help but feel so down.

as you were sitting near the kitchen you couldn’t help but keep looking at seamus. he had brought you to this party but ended up losing each other since he got dragged away by his teammates.

he currently sat in the living room with some random sorority girl. you had feelings for seamus since the 7th grade. never wanting to ruin a friendship you stayed quiet.

one of seamus teammates approached you, “hey i’m mark, you’re y/n right, seamus’s best friend?” he asked before taking a seat next to you. “yeah that’s me” you said giving him a small smile hoping he didn’t catch you staring at seamus.

“so you and seamus have been friends since you guys were babies? he always talks about you, its nice to finally meet you.” he said bringing his hand out to for a hand shake, which you shook his hand softly. “our parents are best friends and had us around the same time so they raised us together, we’ve been inseparable since.” you said and he let out a soft laugh.

you and mark talked for a while getting to know each other, but all you wanted was seamus, you kept looking over at him any chance you got. “you know y/n i think you have a crush on my boy seamus.” mark said and you choked on your water trying to hide the blush forming on your face. “me liking seamus? no way he’s just my best friend plus theres no way hes into me.” you said placing your water down. “yeah sure, best friends dont talk or look at each other the way you two do.” he said and you looked at him confused and he began talking again. “i said he talks about you a lot and when i say that i mean its non stop. any time you send him a selfie or anything he’s so quick to smile at his phone and he’ll say it was from you. every time you’re at our games he’s always looking for you never anyone else. and i see the way you look at him at every party. the way you get so upset whenever a girl goes up to him.” you couldn’t help but sit there and think about what mark had said almost on the verge of crying from feeling all your emotions overcome you.

you tapped his shoulder softly and he paused his conversation with the girl sitting with him. “can we talk?” you said softly, which had seamus up on his feet excusing himself from the girl and holding your hand leading you to an empty balcony.

you stood there enjoying the breeze and the night sky. “what’s up sunshine? you seem upset.” he said coming up behind you giving you a back hug, something he always did when he knew you were upset. you turned to face him, looking up you couldn’t help but to notice the moons reflection in his eyes. “you’re so pretty.” you mumbled and immediately realized what you said hoping he didn’t hear you, but he did. “you’re pretty too.” he said tucking a strand of hair behind your ear. “shea, i like you, like a lot. actually scratch that. i love you. more than anything in this world, and it’s okay if you dont feel the same i totally get it i mean you have all these girls who-“ he cuts off your rant with a kiss. his hands tangled in your hair and yours on his chest. you pull away for a second to catch your breath and he whispers “i love you too.” against your lips before you pull him back in for another kiss.

it was a running joke in the team that seamus was the perfect wingman.

he would try chat up a girl but lose out so bad that when one of his friends came to ‘save him’ they’d end up with the girl they wanted.

and today was no different.

except this time, seamus was brought along in the hopes of accompanying the girls friend. the florida native followed luca, adam and gavin as they approached a group of four girls.

the three other boys had immediately been approached by a girl who they seemed to have conversed with before.

seamus however, thought he was striking out again as the other girl had her back turned to him with her phone out.

“i am so sorry about that, i had to help a friend out,” the girl explained as she turned to face seamus.

seamus was at a loss for words. there’s no way you were standing in front of him.

“seamus casey?” you asked.

the boy nodded as you brought him in for a hug.

“h-hi y/n, you look great,” he complimented.

seamus was nervous. well more nervous than usual.

“i was wondering how long it’d take before i see you again. i thought i’d have to go down to yost,” you joked.

“i mean you could text me in instagram cause you know we follow each other,” he muttered.

you smiled at him and handed him your drink which he gladly accepted. you were shocked that seamus was still the nervous boy you remembered, you thought being a hockey player he’d be more confident.

“so what are you doing here?” he asked, trying to change the subject.

“well, my friends have been chatting up some of your teammates and i guess they mentioned being here,” you replied.

it took seamus a while to figure out that you played the exact role he did with his teammates. but he couldn’t understand why.

you were the most beautiful person he had ever laid eyes on. he loved the way you tied your hair to get it out of your face and the way you payed full attention to whoever was speaking.

“how come you’re stuck with me shea? i thought by now you’d have a lovely girlfriend who you’re mad over,” you asked.

seamus shrugged.

“i guess people don’t like guys who can’t string two sentences in front of them,” he tried to joke.

but all it did was make you sad.

“hey, i know this ice cream joint like two blocks over, so you wanna go?” you asked.

seamus nodded immediately and the two of you headed towards your friends to say goodbye.

“y/n?!” gavin exclaimed, bringing you in for a hug.

you returned the gesture and quickly explained that you and seamus were going out to have ice cream. the other six nodded and went back to their conversations.

the one night of ice cream, turned into weekly ice cream runs.

which then turned into movie night and ice cream.

and then movie night, ice cream and monday breakfast.

it was during one of your movie nights that seamus finally had enough courage to ask you out. you wasted no time bringing the boy in for a kiss, leaving your movie unattended.

the two of you managed to keep your relationship a secret for months but finally decided it was time to tell everyone.

“are you shea?”

“it’s now or never,”

and with that you pressed post and switched your phone off, cuddling into your boyfriends arms.

Harry: Forehead

A soft laugh left your lips as your boyfriend placed a kiss on your bare shoulder, “Rut, we’re cooking.” Rutger placed his hands on your hips, “Well how am I supposed to focus when you look so pretty?” You hummed, “Tell you what, finish your task of cutting bread for garlic bread while I finish checking this lasagna and we’ll talk then.” Rutger grinned as he pressed a kiss against your lips, “Yes ma’am.” You grinned to yourself as your boyfriend returned to the other side of the kitchen and went back to the task in front of him.

You had turned lasagna and put it back in the oven, setting a timer in 45 minutes to take it out, when you approached your boyfriend and wrapped your arms around his waist, “So how about we go talk? In your room.” Rutger smiled widely, “I’ll meet you up there.” You grinned as you walked out of the kitchen. Luca munched on a handful on grapes as he watched you whisper something in his friends ear and then magically you both left the kitchen.

The moment your boyfriend entered his room your lips were interlocked. Your hands found their way to Rutger’s hair like they always did. His lips lightly sucking at your neck eliciting a soft breathy sigh to leave your lips, “Rut, as much as I love this, all our friends are here. So we can’t do anything more than this.” Rutger looked up at you and smiled, “This is all I need. To be in my girlfriends arms.”

You smiled, “Keep talking like that and you might be getting lucky when they’re all gone.” Rutger grinned, “You say that like I shouldn’t be excited.” You grinned as your lips attached to your boyfriend’s neck. Leaving small hickey’s across the base of his neck. Rutger let out a breathy sigh as he nuzzled his head into you chest. You grinned at your boyfriend as you laid your head against his pillows, “What’s going on in your head pretty boy?”

Rutger shook his head as he traced shapes on your bare arm wrapped around him, “Just thinking about how lucky I am to be with you. Sometimes I think about how crazy it is that your with me.” You furrowed an eyebrow as you sat up crossing your legs over each other, “Why’s that so crazy Rut?” Rutger blew out a breath, “Your perfect, your kind, smart, hilarious, the easy going person I’ve ever met, you have an energy that people gravitate towards. Also your the most stunning person in the world. And I’m just me.”

You smiled at your boyfriend, “I think you are the most amazing person I know, your considerate to everyone, your extremely kind you’d give the shirt on your back to a stranger if you thought they needed it, you are the most reassuring person I know. You say things that make me melt into a puddle because of how sweet you are. You have the prettiest eyes I have ever seen. Your laugh makes me feel so safe, and the way your looking at me right now, makes me feel like I’m the only person in the world. I don’t know who I’d be without you.” Rutger grinned as he placed a soft peck against your lips.

Rutger sighed as he melted into you, “We should probably head back out there now. Before they get any ideas.” You laughed, “I’ll be right down. I just wanna fix my hair.” Rutger nodded as he kissed you and headed out of his room. You walked into the bathroom he and Ethan shared and ran your fingers through your hair straightening it. You did your best to cover the hickey’s that were prominent across your collarbone. You made your way to the dining room where Ethan and Mark where prancing around in matching aprons Luca had bought them as a gag gift for Christmas. The two boys were tasked with bringing all the food to the table from the kitchen.

You slid into your seat in between Rutger and Ashley, Mark’s girlfriend. Luca sat directly across from Rutger with a smug smirk on his face upon seeing Rutger leaving his bedroom adjusting the collar to his shirt. You guys sat around the table laughing over whatever had happened in the week since you all had dinner together. You had been reaching out to grab your cup when your hair fell to the side revealing the growing purple hickey on your neck, it was only visible to Ashley and Luca, who both decided to say nothing even though they had both noticed.

You and Ashley were engrossed in a conversation about the professor in your shared public relations lecture. Rutger had thrown his head back as he burst into laughter. Luca grinned to himself as the hickey’s planted across Rutger’s neck was now visible to not just him but the entire group, “So that’s where you snuck off to Rut.” Your eyes immediately widened as Ethan walked over to your boyfriend and pulled his shirt away from his neck, “Damn Y/N you sure do mark what’s yours. Mark look at this!”

At the call from his best friend Mark waltzed over and tried to bite back a laugh, “Hold on she has some too.” Ashley moved your hair to the side revealing the maybe two hickey’s on your neck compared to the many on your boyfriend’s neck. Mark burst out laughing, “I knew Y/N had the power behind closed doors.” Your face was beat red as your boyfriend and you burst into laughter. You jokingly smacked Rutger’s arm, “We need to get our own place.” Rutger nodded, “Agreed.”
