Summary: Ai encounters a sad Ryoken and decides to do something about it. Not inherently shippy but can be read that way.

Because I wanted my first published writing piece of the new year to be something nice and cute. Enjoy!

Ai didn't know what he was expecting when he popped out of Ryoken's duel disk that day, but when he saw Ryoken burying his face in his arms with his laptop closed in front of him, he found himself confused. It was far past the time Ryoken would normally be awake so he couldn't be asleep.

“Ryoken…?” Ai prodded his shoulder. “You awake?”

“Go away, Ignis,” Ryoken grumbled into his arms.

Ai froze. “Huh… It's been a while since you called me that.” He tried his best to sound light-hearted but deep inside, he was really worried.

Ryoken didn't respond. He didn't even show any indication that he heard Ai.

“Hey um…” Ai rested his hand on Ryoken’s shoulder. “Are you okay? You seem down.”

“I'm not down,” Ryoken muttered, wiping his face with his arm before lifting his head.

Ai was startled to see that Ryoken's eyes were puffy and reddened, which his icy glare did little to hide. He'd been… crying?

“Now will you go away?” Ryoken grunted, his voice blunt like usual but less commanding and more… feeble.

“You look like you need some cheering up,” Ai commented, stretching his arms out around Ryoken in a soft hug.

“I'm fine, really,” Ryoken insisted, looking off in the distance. “I don't need… I don't want…” There was a quiver in his final word. Ryoken bit his lip. “I don’t deserve to feel better.” His tone was more even but Ai could feel Ryoken shivering in his arms.

“Do you want to talk about it or do you need a distraction?”

Ryoken hesitated. Then with a defeated sigh he replied, “Distraction.”

Ai chuckled. “Well you're in luck 'cause silly distractions are the Ai specialty!”

He let go of Ryoken, going up to hug his face, nuzzling his tiny face and hands into Ryoken's cheek. Ryoken leaned ever so slightly in the opposite direction.

“So… Ryoken… or… should I call you sir?” Ai gazed expectantly at Ryoken. “Since you’re kind of a public official?”

“That's not necessary,” Ryoken's tone was so empty.

Ai frowned. His words didn't surprise him but Ai expected Ryoken to find amusement in that idea. Or annoyance. Or something, anything.

“Why are you touching my face?” Ryoken asked.

Ai nuzzled further into Ryoken's face as he answered, “I thought physical contact helped humans feel better. Heck, it helps me feel better when Yusaku holds me.”

Ai stroked the chunk of Ryoken's hair that covered his ear.

“That depends on the human,” Ryoken explained, “And the relationship.”

Ai faked an offended huff. “Are you implying that we don't have a good relationship?”

He shifted to look into Ryoken's eyes, keeping his tiny hands on Ryoken's cheeks. Ryoken stared at him blankly.

“How dare you,” Ai teased, booping Ryoken's nose.

Ryoken's gaze dropped but he showed no other signs of, well, emotion. Ai frowned. At least be annoyed at me, he thought desperately. Even that would be better than this empty numbness Ryoken was displaying.

Ai sighed. “Come on, buddy. Work with me here.”

“I'm not your ‘buddy’.”

“You're Yusaku's friend, which makes you my friend.” Ai slid his hands into Ryoken's hair as he spoke. “Or at the very least I'm someone who cares about you and doesn't want you to be sad.”

Ai was stroking the pointier parts of Ryoken's hair when an idea occurred to him. Chuckling, he held up parts of Ryoken's hair.

“What's so funny?” Ryoken asked, raising an eyebrow.

Ai just giggled harder. “Do you have a mirror?”

Ryoken let out a sigh. Opening his laptop, he turned the camera on, as though he were about to start a video call.

Ai weaved to the side. “You look like a cat,” he explained, gesturing to the two triangular parts of Ryoken's hair he was holding up.

Ryoken raised an eyebrow.

Ai chuckled, stroking the hair in his fingers. “You know… you’d make a pretty cute cat, Ryoken… Ryo-cat.”

Ryoken ever so slightly rolled his eyes. “Are you done trying to cheer me up?”

“No!” Ai let go of Ryoken’s hair, going to rest on his shoulder. “I won’t give up until I make you smile!”

Ryoken frowned. “When have you ever made me smile regardless of whatever emotional state I’m in?” His voice had more energy in it but he still didn’t quite sound like himself. Something was missing…

“Oh, come on. You sometimes smile at my antics. Even you’re not completely humourless, Ryoken.” Ai let out a tiny gasp. “In fact…” He couldn’t stop the mischief from slipping into his voice. “I just thought of something that makes every human smile.”

“And what would that be Ai?” Ryoken sighed, looking away.

Ai wiggled his finger against Ryoken’s neck. “Tickle, tickle.”

Ryoken let out an uncharacteristically high-pitched squeak. “Ai no!” He squirmed away. However, he didn’t move out of the chair.

“Jackpot!” Ai wrapped one of his arms around Ryoken, using the other hand to tickle his neck.

“Ai! Stop it!” Ryoken squirmed around to no avail.

Ai paid no attention to his words, his gaze fixed on Ryoken’s face. His mouth was turned up in a smile, a wider smile than Ai had ever seen, and was fighting to hold back chuckles.

“This isn’t fair,” Ryoken complained, his voice shaking with laughter.

“What’s not fair about it?” Ai asked, retracting his fingers.

Ryoken gasped, gripping his chest as he caught his breath. Then he turned to glare at Ai.

“That wasn’t real laughter,” he grunted, “It was an involuntary response.”

“You calling me lazy?”

Ryoken snorted with amusement. “Yes, I am,” he answered, his lip twitching up.

Ai stared at him for a moment. “If I weren’t so happy to see you smiling I’d be very offended by that!”

Ryoken smiled fully, his gaze shifting to his laptop. “You seem offended regardless.”

“Okay fine, I’m totally offended, but I’m happy too. Contradictory emotions can exist in tandem, you know.”

Ryoken’s smile faded. He lifted his gaze, though he didn’t seem to be looking at anything in particular, the look in his eyes seeming distant and lost in thought.

“Ryoken…?” Ai prompted, tilting his head to the side.

“I know.” Ryoken dipped his head. “For such a dumb Ignis, you can be pretty smart.”

Ai smiled. “Thank you.”

He had no idea how or why but he could tell something he said had helped Ryoken and that was good enough for him.

Oh God I don't know if this will read as coherent because my thoughts about Showtime are all over the place. But I'll try to format this the best I can

✨Showtime HCs! ✨

Their relationship starts when they start spending time together.

(The reason why they do so could vary. In Supervised Machine Learning's case, Pomni becomes something of a "tutor" to Caine; They discover that they work well together, and the other's company can be quite pleasant!).

So Pomni and Caine build a weird, but comforting friendship, and all is well.

Then the feelings appear.

Caine is the first to realize he fell in love.

It sounds illogical but hear me out… it'd be really funny--

Ok no seriously I think Caine can actually feel. Keyword "can". He's very much still a machine and it shows in the pilot. But like his inspiration (AM), Caine is also a rogue AI. Whatever his programming originally intended him to do, he probably doesn't follow it as closely now as back when he was created (which is a whole other post).

Caine knows what love is and the extend it can go, since the Moon is so open about her feelings. He just doesn't like the Moon back specifically haha (sorry Moon) :}

All this to say, I do believe this is within the realm of possibility for him. (Not that it's ever gonna happen towards anyone in the show. These are just wishful shippy thoughts).

He might not recognize it as love at first, because it manifests in such a different way from his one reference point.

His friendship with Pomni had gone through phases.

When they first met, he continuously touched her with no concern for how she felt.

Learning from and about Pomni herself led him to come to respect her boundaries (and becoming mindful of everyone else's).

Then they're close friends, and gradually, Pomni does not mind his regular wacky, touchy-feely self. So Caine acts as he had always done before.

Caine expresses his love for Pomni with physical gestures and his undivided attention.

When they teleport to travel to other places, he holds her close so she doesn't get too dizzy; he pats her head to reassure her; he touches her arm to get her attention; he grabs her hands when he's excited about her ideas; he holds eye contact for prolonged periods of time; and he touches, and touches, and touches, and touches.

It's selfish, and so he keeps it buried in his deepest 0's and 1's. But he'd like to keep hanging out with Pomni, having her in his sight, and feel the texture of her gloved hands until the end of time.

Despite all this, to him, virtually nothing changed.

What? He's spending time with Pomni as he'd always been doing, and behaving as he'd always behaved!

It's Bubble of all people that has to point out that, "Hey boss. I think you WANT her!"

Absurd. Nonsense. Preposterous! It is merely a relationship of mutual support and affection between a ringmaster and his trusted, former-human companion. Nothing more.

(Declaring his love to her unprompted didn't ever cross his mind, so there's no way it could be that. Is there?)

Caine finds out that yes, there is.

Pomni had always been a nervous wreck, but her mind state becomes more manageable over time. She eventually adjusts to the circus life like everyone else did.

"Accepting" her fate is a different story. The will to escape, to remember, never really leaves. She's just more careful about it.

So when she starts working with Caine - to improve life so people don't go abstracting anymore, and hopefully find a definitive exit - she's not expecting to end up liking her time with him.

Not that she'd absolutely hate it, either. He's… "okay"… Just-- outlandish, loud, he keeps invading her personal space, he keeps touching her, and it makes her die a little every time.

If he's up to listening, though… it can't be that bad, right?

Turns out that no, it wasn't that bad.

Yes, he is outlandish, loud, he keeps invading her personal space and touching her. But she explains what she means to him, clearly and patiently, and he makes an effort to do better. An actual effort.

Sometimes he'd misinterpret what she meant - the ambiguity of human language - and the new games would go horribly. But little by little, his efforts make life overall better. Something reminiscent of actual, real life, the one they've all forcibly left behind.

And he tries, and he tries, and Pomni finds herself enjoying the process as much as the good results.

Pomni likes Caine's eagerness to learn. His enthusiastic attitude borders on silly, and the absurdity makes her laugh on occasion. When faced with the prospect of a "real" exit, she loves his upbeat optimism.

When she's not hanging out with Ragatha, Jax, Gangle, Zooble and Kinger, she begins to enjoy spending quality time with Caine.

Each one of their hang outs is a new surprise. They make a picnic in the tallest mountain exactly in between day and night. They learn to dance - while floating in the air. "Since you asked, here's a DIGITAL camera! Let's take pictures of the Void for one tenth of a second at a time!"

Sometimes he just comes by Pomni's room, and they end up losing track of time. Just chatting about how things have been, what they could be, and what to do next. Ideas and ideas and ideas.

Before Pomni knows it, she's comfortable enough that recalling his old habits makes her not dread them anymore. So when Caine stands close and lightly touches her arm due to oversight, she makes sure he knows it's all right.

And they keep spending time together, and he touches, and touches, and touches her. Pomni, in turn, feels lighter, and lighter, and lighter. Peaceful, at ease. Dare she say, happy, even.

Life is not perfect. As it stands though, it's good enough. No one has abstracted. No one is at risk of abstracting so far.

Progress is slow, but the research for an exit continues, and she is hopeful. The thought of actually leaving grows closer to reality. But a part of her feels heavy.

When it occurs to Pomni that leaving the Amazing Digital Circus means leaving Caine behind, she is alarmed by how much she'll miss him.

It'll hurt. Badly. So much the thought pains her even now.

The moment Pomni realizes this, she comes to the unexpected conclusion that she may like Caine a little more than she thought she would.

This later leads to an interesting discussion with Ragatha.

By the time Pomni comes to that conclusion, Caine is already down bad.

Neither has any idea that the other is in love with them.

Cue dumbasses trying to deal with their feelings while the potential conflict the escape brings looms over their heads.

Gonna be honest with you, anon: I never have ANYTHING in my head to share. It's empty in there. But since you asked, here's some things that came to mind!

General Vere HCs

Because he's literally a fox Monster, I think a lot of my HCs are based around that! For example:

He's destructive. Yeah. He destroyed Kuras's office because he hates him, but I also think he can't help it. His own place probably has scratches and bite marks on appropriate posts, too, though not as many—it is his space after all, he wants it to be good enough for him.

He will sometimes bite (not too hard) as a sign of affection. Very "rawr XD girlfriend who nom :3 uwu"-coded of him.

Yes, he does like to be pet, and scritched. However, he doesn't like 99% of people who try to, so best not to attempt it. For any brave soul out there: Scritches on the sides of his neck, where his hairline is, will get him super relaxed.

He can get the urge to "laugh" if he's really happy or excited about something, which he tries to suppress—he's better at keeping a lid on it than he is about hiding his tail wagging. This "laugh" sounds different from his sultry, cultivated "ha-ha~ you're funny~" laugh; it's more like a high-pitched, hiccupy giggle. It can make him sound a little crazy. Shame he won't weaponize it to be even more evil.

I also have non-fox-related headcanons for Vere, though, lol.

We already know he's a talented artist; I think his preferred mediums are pencil and charcoal.

This is a shippy headcanon, but I do think he has a lot of drawings of Ais's side profile in his sketchbook—one of the reasons why people are not allowed to leaf through it. Other things in his sketchbook include figure drawings, rough sketches of people who catch his fleeting interest, and symbols or beings from his dreams.

On the subject of dreams: Vere puts some stock into their contents. Maybe because of his unique constitution, he feels his dreams can have hints, warnings, and premonitions mixed in with the shit that doesn't make any sense. That's why, if something sticks out to him in a dream, he'll draw it.

Even with his heeled shoes off, Vere prefers to walk primarily on his toes. He's like a Barbie doll!

He generally likes slower, soothing music. In the modern day, he'd probably be a fan of old-school ballads and even ambient music.

This is a weird one, but I think Vere is really good at imitating people's voices. His voice is too unique to sound exactly like other people, but he can get pretty damn close, enough to fool someone on a first listen.

FFVII Rebirth thoughts (Spoilers for everything)

I reemerge having finished Rebirth after four weeks and 92 hours in-game playtime. That’s an incredibly short but also massive amount of playtime for me, Yakuza 0 took me a year with pauses. I’m still reeling after finishing chapter 13, and since all my FF buddies from the old days are long gone, I’ll just vent here. I enjoy reading the reactions and thoughts of other players, so maybe someone else does too?

This post is full of spoilers and Shinra fangirling, but it’s about the whole game:

Shinra:

First, somebody on the team that wrote material for the Turks and Rufus must be some Shinra fandom veteran grown up with 20 years of fanon. Just Elena as a whole, Rude getting her that ice cream, Rufus in the Gold Saucer harassing fighting Cloud for fun, Dark Star not only obeying Rufus but also Tseng. Rufus complaining that Tseng is being overprotective… (faints) So much crack and shippy moments, I was grinning like an idiot.

(Is crack fic even a thing anymore? It feels like they’ve gotten rarer)

I expected maybe three or four scenes with the Turks, maybe less for Rufus. AND THEN SQUARE SHOVED THEM IN WHEREVER THEY COULD WITHOUT DERAILING THE PLOT. Elena was given so much room to breathe. Same for Rufus. Those little moments with Darkstar. I’m over the moon.

Okay, Rufus, so your father got stabbed, and the first thing you did after that was recording some motion-capturing and dialogue for a Turk recruitment hologram-video-thingy in an abandoned facility? It makes zero sense, but it’s my favourite protorelic mission and I’ll happily add it to my headcanon as a sign that Rufus gave Tseng his okay to recruit more Turks.

(The real answer would probably be automatically generated AI shenanigans, but that’s not very exciting.)

Viceroy Saruf. Just … Rufus, you’re such a cheeky idiot and I love you. Is there any faction in this world you’re not manipulating from the background? I can’t shake the feeling that being the man in the shadows suits you more than actually openly running the company.

Tseng and Reeve were great, I would love more little moments like that, where the Shinra folks just interact outside of action scenes and dramatic moments. The talk Tseng had with Reno and Rufus in Remake after the Sector 7 collapse hit the same note for me. I want more Reeve in part 3.

The scene between Tseng and Aerith at the temple made my eyes misty, but I wish it had been longer. Tseng keeping it short and abruptly leaving to "make a report" was perfect, and I know Cloud being so cold and cutting Aerith off fits his behaviour, but something about the timing just felt off.

I was surprised that Heidegger would take a bullet for Rufus. For President Shinra, absolutely, but Rufus? Hmm… This makes great fanfic material. I’ve read a fanfic before that tried to reimagine the Shinra executives (even Palmer) as more realistic people, and I found it to be really interesting, but then I’m a weirdo with plot bunnies in my head that involve a younger President Shinra, his wife, Veld, Vincent and the older Shinra execs.

I’ve never been a fan of Hojo but his R re-imagining is one of the few that doesn’t work at all for me. OG Hojo was far more unsettling. R!Hojo is just your typical mad scientist, I just can’t care about him, which is a shame, because him taunting Aerith in Remake with how he dissected Ifalna hit me hard.

I still haven’t quite grasped why Rufus is so obsessed with the Promised Land. It probably all comes down to wanting to be more successful than his father, right? I’m probably forgetting or mixing up details from Remake, Rebirth or the OG here, but I assumed that Rufus would outright dismiss it as a fairy tale.

Apparently there is a Midgar DLC for Power Wash Simulator. Square Enix, where is Hitman: Tseng and a version of Yakuza where I can play the Turks dealing with dumb crap doing missions in Midgar? Give us Shinra fans something, I'm still waiting for the EC version of Before Crisis. And I don't even like gacha mobile games. >:(

General game thoughts:

The open world is fantastic, I want to live in Gongaga or Kalm. So pretty. People online seem to hate the Gongaga map, but the soundtrack and the jungle theme made it work for me. I found the gliding parts in Cosmo Canyon far harder to navigate.

Shinra Manor is terrible with Vincent being it’s only redeeming part. The actual mansion looked great (the portrait of President Shinra was a nice touch) but the upper levels being inaccessible and turning it into another lab dungeon was boring. Same for the box throwing mini-game.

Dio the archaeologist turned body-builder is great, but Shinra knowing about the keystone and just not bothering to use it when President Shinra was looking for the Promised Land is a weird plot hole. It would have been a lot easier than trying to convince Aerith to come to them. There were some other little details like that, that bothered me but it’s a blur now.

Remake Barett made me into a Barret fan, Rebirth Nanaki into a Nanaki fan. The writers are genius when it comes to rewriting these characters from the OG. I’m not really bothered Cid not being grumpy and swearing all the time. Him reminiscing about Ifalna was cute. Vincent using his old Turk skills (and having some lingering loyalty to the job?) was cool. Really looking forward to seeing how they’ll handle Lucrecia, the one character in FFVII I'm so conflicted about.

I’m still confused about Aerith’s death scene, especially the cuts where she’s lying in her own blood and then isn’t. I understand that she’s dead in her current reality, but is the scene without blood (and Aerith "waking up" in Cloud’s arms) Cloud’s hallucination or just a different reality? I’m also utterly confused by how many Aeriths we’re dealing with. The Aerith and Cloud we’re playing with and the sleeping Aerith (and Cloud) from the dimension where Zack lives are one and the same? It’s tying my brain into knots, and not in a good way. That’s why I usually can’t stand from stories involving elaborate time travel loops or parallel universes.

I first played the OG as a young teen. Cloud’s mind being fractured and hallucinating was a neat bit of storytelling back then that I hadn’t encountered in video games before. Twenty years later, I’ve dealt with loved ones who are ill but refuse help, and known plenty of people have some form of psychosis or schizophrenia. Whilst I would never seriously compare Cloud’s problems with rl mental illnesses, I found the scenes where he sees Sephiroth and no one else, or is completely out of it hard to stomach. Interacting with somebody who has hallucinations (even "harmless" ones) or paranoid thoughts is unsettling at best, nightmarish at worst. The group trying to passively bear it and keep things together rings very true (especially Tifa) but I’m surprised that even Barett or Yuffie aren’t trying to confront Cloud about his behaviour at least once.

(I tried to format in html, but it somehow looked worse. I'm old. This is how Vincent must feel like every day.)

Dyne, Myrna and Tseng talking to Aerith at the temple had me tearing up, and I lost it at Aerith’s "date" with Cloud in Ch. 14. Hoo boy, I know Aerith stalling off the inevitable just for a little time, was the game having a very direct conversation with the player about what’s going to come, death and how we deal with it. But to me personally, it was more about how one gets caught up in trauma and repeat it over and over in your head, mulling about the point of where things went wrong and what you could have done to prevent it. I know it doesn’t fit, but that’s what my weird brain made out of it. Also Dyne’s and Aerith’s (at the temple) speeches about how they deal (or didn’t) with grief and trauma rang absolutely true.

Damn you, silly anime action game, you really shouldn’t affect me this deeply, but then a lot of fiction hits me harder than it used to.

Oot niin rakas. Armas etten sanoisi.

My first impression: Pakko myöntää, et mulla ei ollut hirveän vahva ensivaikutelma Määtästä. Kun en vielä ollut fandomissa, mun vaikutelma Määtästä taisi olla lähinnä "no se kolmas siellä Golgatalla". Vaikka muistan kyllä hymähdelleeni sen vuorosanoille jo ekalla lukukierroksella.

My impression now: 100% paras hahmo Tuntemattomassa. Ei mun lempihahmo, mutta silti kiistatta paras. Mun päässä Määttä on samaan aikaan perusjantteri jokamies ja myös maahan pääedellä pudonnut avaruusolio. Nämä asiat ovat totta yhtä aikaa.

Favorite thing about that character: Määtällä on jotenkin tosi jännä rooli kirjassa. Tää on nyt tätä kun välillä nää hahmot näkee enemmän symboleina kuin ihmisinä, mut se miten Määtän suhtautuminen sotaan ja kaikkeen ympäröivään inhimilliseen kärsimykseen on olankohautus ja matkan jatkaminen on hirveän kiinnostavaa. Ehkä se on sitten se Määtän rooli tietynlaisena straight manina, johon voi peilata muiden hahmojen äärimmäisyyksiä (vaikka Määttäkin on omalla tavallaan äärimmäisyys you know you know) (olispa joskus joku maailman levottomin näyttämöversio, jossa olisi kertojahahmoja ja kertojat olisi tyyliin Riitaoja, Lahtinen, Rahikainen ja Määttä. Nauttisin)

Least favorite thing: Tää on noloa, mä en keksi mitään, mistä en tykkäisi Määtässä? Musta se on canonissa just sellainen kuin sen olla pitää ja musta sille tapahtuu kaikki, mitä toivoisin sille canonin puitteissa tapahtuvan.

Lisäksi Määttä on kaksonen, sen kaksosveljen nimi on Usko (veli on terveydeltään heikko mutta uskossaan vahva, vanhempien mieleen). The Basics

Hitman Egg Hunt is a prompt fest for the Hitman fandom to celebrate springtime. The schedule of this event is based on the in-game bonus mission "Berlin Egg Hunt". Prompts and works do not have to feature Berlin or Eggs.

Prompt fills should have a minimum wordcount of 500 words.

What is a prompt fest?

A Prompt Fest is a challenge in which participants can submit one or more fanwork prompts that other participants can choose to fill.

Prompts

How many prompts can I add?

You can add up to two prompts to the collection. Prompts need to be springtime-themed.

If you’d like to suggest a specific scenario, add it to your prompt’s description. Try to find the right balance between an interesting idea that gives authors something to work with and a too restrictive prompt.

Characters and Ships

Requests for individual characters can be gen or shippy. You may request a single character and mention in your optional details what scenarios or ships you would enjoy them in; however, a ship is not guaranteed.

If you absolutely want to see the character interacting with a specific other character, make sure to request ship tags — A/B for romantic or sexual interactions, A & B for platonic or familial interactions.

Worldbuilding

If the scenario you're requesting is not based on specific characters or ships, you can request the Worldbuilding "character" in the character tags.

When filling a request with the Worldbuilding character, please don't add it to the character tags!

DNW and Letters

You also have the option to add a link to a letter. These can be very useful to give your writer ideas for possible scenarios. It can also be invaluable for telling them what you do not want at all.

If you have anything you Do Not Want (DNW), it must be in the prompt directly to be enforceable. Authors should respect the Do Not Want list; however, the requester should not abuse it to try and force the author into a corner. Do Not Wants that appear only in an external letter will not be enforced.

Am I guaranteed one (or two) gifts?

No. This is a prompt fest, not a gift exchange. Prompt fills are not guaranteed, but we can work together to make sure everyone gets a gift.

Can I stay anonymous?

You can add your prompt(s) anonymously, but I’d recommend de-anoning before April 15th, to give your author the option to gift their work to you. You don't have to de-anon your prompts if you prefer to stay anonymous.

Minimum Requirements

The minimum requirements are intentionally low: 500 words. If you want to write more, you can!

Prompt fills need to include the requested character(s) and character dynamics, as well as the scenario suggested in the prompt. When filling a request with Worldbuilding as a character, please don't add it to the character tags!

The prompt fills also need to be springtime-themed. Works need to be newly published for this exchange and created by you. AI-generated works are not welcome.

Posting

In order to post, go to your AO3 claims page and click the "fill" button on your claimed prompt. That will take you to a new-works form with the prompt already tickied. If the prompt you picked was not anonymous (or is not anonymous anymore by April 15th), please gift your work to the person whose prompt you picked. You might need to add the username yourself.

Deadline

There is no hard deadline, but since this is a prompt fest to celebrate springtime in the Hitman universe, you should aim for having your prompt fill ready before April 15th.

You may add (more) prompt fills after reveals!

Anonymity

Works are anonymous until creator reveals, the Sunday after work reveals.

Additional Prompt Fills

You may claim a prompt that has already been claimed by someone else. Since this is a prompt fest without assignments, please try to also claim a prompt that hasn't been claimed yet, to make sure everyone who participates receives at least one gift.

Be friendly!

Make sure that your prompts and your fanworks do not contain any hostile elements towards people you disagree with in any part of the fanwork (title, tags, summary, author's notes, body text). Refrain from adding DNI notes.
