Base Game Wavy Hair Edit

Happy summer to everyone! This is my first ever somewhat successful blender project! I really like the shape of this BG hair, but it looked so weird I never used it, so I gave it an update! My version is a bit longer than the original and also uses a different texture (a better one imo).

Disclaimer: I have only changed the LOD0 so the other meshes remain the same! The reason for this is that I'm just a newbie to mesh editing, so bear with me :)

There's a standalone version and a version that overrides the EA hair.

So obviously they're girlfriends.

The first one, her name is Cardima but everyone just calls her Grudges (creative i know but hear me out) because she's very hot headed. She tries her hardest to be cool calm and collected but you do not want to piss her off. She's just cares too much, even when her sanity is on the line.

The second is Blythe, she's cold, she's aloof. She does not give a fuck or a shit. She hates people, and has a touch of agoraphobia, or as she likes to call it "agora-euphoria". She's like Grudges, she feels too much, but unlike her girlfriend, she'd rather live her life shut off from the world than ever put herself on the line to be hurt again.

The current breakup Seb is going through really inspired him to make new music, but this time, on his own

The song is called "d e c e p t i o n" and may not be as good as the ones he has made with the group, but it's now one of his favorite and most personal

He then invited his friends to make them listen to the song and they really enjoyed it !!

TS2 Nightlife Soundtrack DJs

I think my favorite part of the Nightlife soundtrack isn’t just that they featured actual DJs doing techno remixes of Sims 2 music, but the specific genres the DJs worked in were never as popular as they were in the 2000s, so it really is a time capsule for the sound of that era.

Note: The “known for” sections are limited to work the DJs had released earlier than 2005 (aka prior to being involved in Nightlife) just to get a better idea of what EA saw in their work to invite them onto the soundtrack as well as compare their music as contemporary to what they created for the game.

Junkie XL: The Sims Theme

- Known for that remix of Elvis’s A Little Less Conversation that was used in a very early internet meme (among other things) and having a song featured in Need for Speed Underground

Adam Freeland: Arch of the Sims / Busy / Makeover

- Known for having a song featured in the rhythm game Rez and the single We Want Your Soul

General Midi: Shopping Spree / Stop and Sim / First Volley

- Known for his 2006 debut album Midi Style (not prior to Nightlife but I couldn’t find anything else notable about this DJ earlier than this lol)

DJ Hyper: Sim the Builder / Sim Time Sim Place

- Known for having a song featured in Need for Speed Most Wanted

Lemon Jelly: Sims Theme / Makeover / Arch of the Sims / Sim Time Sim Place

- Known for the singles Nice Weather for Ducks, Stay With You, and The Shouty Track

Timo Maas: The Sims Theme

- Known for his remix of Azzido Da Bass’s Dooms Night and having a song featured in FIFA 2003
