Hello once again, Mrs. Momtaku! After you have replied my questions, I have been able to conclude them. However, I have raised a question anew... on the death of Commander Pixis. Considering how you have analyzed many a great things, it has come to me surprising how this event avoided your valuable gaze. Perhaps related to his death concurring with other important events... it also, in my opinion, signified the past and way of middle ground was forever lost at that moment, as Shadis had stated.

Oh dear. You are correct that Pixis got nary a RIP from me in chapter 124 😥 If I had to list excuses I'd say one of them is that from the time of his transformation in chapter 119 to his final death in 124, we saw Eren's head literally flying off his head followed by all those many months of intense Paths chapters which provided plenty of distractions and much time to deal with the fact that both Pixis and Nile were goners. Plus there was just so much process in those month. So much.

But for sure, the deaths of adult leaders like Erwin, Pixis, Nile, Magath, Shadis is the shonen way signifying change. And in this case, since the government immediately fell into Floch's nasty brand of government, it was a death of all moderate and reasonable leadership as well, or as you say, the middle ground being lost forever.

Thank you for the meta and your lovely analysis of the death of Pixis. I'll be sure to raise a drink in his honor next time I have one.

One last time, for old time's sake: Fuck "Attack on Titan."

It's been a while since I've posted some hate about how badly Isayama killed SNK/AOT for me in its last third. That series — which was a big fave of mine for roughly 89 chapters — eventually just completely fucking shit the bed and then faceplanted right INTO the shit. I got pretty upset about it, and honestly? I STILL get riled up when I think about it.

(If your HOT TAKE in response to this is "Y R U so emoshunly invesstd in FICSHUNUL CHARAKTURS?????? LULZ" just stfu and gtfo, ok?)

But of course, I'm referring to how I felt RE: the manga's events and ultimate ending. Said ending is relevant once more, though, because just this past weekend? The anime hit its conclusion.

As a manga reader, I tried to hang in there for a LONG time after the unfortunate timeskip hit with Chapter 90. But they finally lost me so hard at Chapter 124 that I walked. And that's the reality for most of us who were angry and disgusted. We just... left. We stopped talking about it.

That's why, today, those who're still discussing AOT are almost all the die-hard fans who never stopped loving it. Which is part of why talking smack about AOT right now has got me feeling as paranoid as Sasha trying to stealth-cram a potato down her gullet.

Even so, I soldier forward. I've been thinking back on how bad this one hurt when it killed itself, which led me to looking over my old posts on the matter.

So, in "honor" of the end of the anime series, let me take a moment to look back on how they Shat on Titan.

One my first posts explaining the downward spiral was this long boi that attempted to summarize my MANY negative feelings at the time.

More thoughts on how it all went wrong in response to an Ask.

The timeskip was a mistake, and it felt wrong in many ways. This was the moment it began to most clearly go to hell... even though there WERE earlier warning signs.

...actually, I'd better rant about that some more.

For a while, we thought Isayama was maybe just screwing up an attempted "hate leads to more hate" message? (The ending of the series made it clear he was never trying to go there.)

Of course, at one point it was pointed out to me that the Eldians are maybe supposed to represent the history of Japan instead of the Jews, which... honestly doesn't help the situation very much, actually? It's still REALLY fucked up?

Thankfully, I wasn't totally alone in all this. (Even if it sometimes feels like I am.)

I did come back and read through the ending of the series, which... surprise!... sucked hard.

One last negative ask/response.

I see you wreckin' the tale of the peeps I loved And I'm like, "Fuck you" (ooh, ooh, ooh) The characters you had weren't enough, so I'm like, "Fuck you, and your story, too"

Fixed versions of the game features a black and white graphic behind the title font on the cartridge's label, while bugged versions feature the label in full color. These cartridges have been sent by mail along with a package of five King of Fighters trading cards. On June 6, SNK announced that the replacement cartridge would be available in stores on June 25 and began the process of implementing a recall. The game crashes after talking to an opponent named Jon, who has to be defeated in order to finish the game. Players build decks of characters pulled from the annals of SNK and Capcom.

In addition to the 240 character and 60 action cards from the first game, 124 new cards are added, adding cast from Garou: Mark of the Wolves, Samurai Shodown: Warriors Rage, The King of Fighters ' for SNK, and Project Justice, Mega Man Legends, Dino Crisis and Onimusha for Capcom, while also including 40 Reaction cards that can be used during the opponent's attack. This Japan-only sequel to SVC: Card Fighters' Clash was released in 2001 for the Neo Geo Pocket Color after Capcom vs. fighters) are allowed in each player's field at any given moment and there is no mana to be spent to place them in the field (there are, however, Special Points, SP for short, which are gained as fighters are placed in the field and spent as the players use Action Cards - this game's equivalent of Enchantments - or combined attacks).
