Yet another beautiful piece of Vero and Astarion by @flavoredmagpie! This lined up perfectly since I just saw the graveyard scene between these two and wanted a piece that really captured "I love you. I love this. And I want it all."

Also, can we talk about the detail in the outfits here? The gold on them looks ✨immaculate✨

Honestly, I could go on about these two all day. The parallel in their narratives has been so captivating to me, and it's one of my favorite dynamics in the game. Tav and Astarion? An absolute delight. A Durge who resists themselves for the better and Astarion who ends up as a spawn for good? A relationship dynamic I absolutely won't be able to top in any of my future runs. This is peak Astarion content for me in this run, and I'm so excited to reach the epilogue!

Weither due to hormones or standard chemical imbalances, I've been in an absolute terrible mood this last week, month, probably longer, so as I'm sitting on my barstool staring blankly at my typewriter I realize abruptly that I need to change my bed sheets.

So I do.

Then I start to make lunch and realize that not only is my microwave rather stained, but my countertop has become intolerably crusty. It needs to be cleaned something terrible. So does my stove now that I look at it. Oh, and my table is so cluttered, let me clear it off. My tubberware is a mess and it doesn't even fit in this cabinet, let's switch it with the waffle iron cabinet, my pots don't need that much space. When did I get so many pan lids? Let's put them somewhere else. Oh dear, I have boxes of random stuff, let's go through it and decide what to keep and what to toss. What do you know? Most of it's garbage!

And after a long and arduous scrubbing session, the stove was clean enough to lay a towel down and stack my countertop items onto so that I could then finally scrub the counters. This allowed me to properly reorganize my countertop items into a far more productive and pleasing display.

All this because I was mad about being sad and my microwave was dirty.

I am happy to announce the apparatus has received an adequate scolding, and has henceforth promised to do better.
