Here is a list of traits Silver has shown in the games, Sonic Channel and other Sonic Team made content:
Righteous, has a strong sense of justice and is driven to make things right
Kind-hearted, puts other people’s happiness before his own and will drop his mission to help others, is motivated by his desire to protect smiles, wants to use his powers not for himself, but to help others.
Extremely Determined
Optimistic and Hopeful, believes there’s always a chance as long as you don’t give up, inspires hope in the people he works with in Forces, the final story of Sonic 06 and when he helps Elise through her performance anxiety
Pure, has a “sincere, unpretentious and kind” demeanor and wears his heart on his sleeve, this genuineness and purity gives him an “enduring charm” that is one of the biggest things his friends, particularly Blaze, enjoy about him and makes others want to support him
Forthright, is very direct and frank with people and has a straight to the point mentality, is straightforward in his actions and thinking
Earnest and blunt to the point of naivety, expects people to believe and cooperate with him when he says he’s from the future, hides very little and is so honest that he announces himself when attacking Sonic
Not trusting post 06, doesn’t give Sonic a Chaos Emerald until he proves he’s real in Sonic Generations and is the most suspicious of Dodon Pa
Snide and Sarcastic, sneers at Eggman’s theme park in Sonic Colors and has a snotty attitude towards anyone he can one up, remarks “What am I doing?” when going with Amy
Brash, has rude/informal mannerisms and can be abrasive, particularly to people who are not his allies
Juvenile, described as young and immature by his creator Shun Nakamura, this immaturity ties into many aspects of his character as well as his purity but is also the source of his snotty attitude and rude behavior, supposedly he doesn’t like green peppers which is the Japanese equivalent of children not liking broccoli
Focused, proactive and practical mindset, seen particularly throughout Sonic Forces
Focused on his goals, Does not care what the plan is called in Forces, only that it works and when asked about his favorite race item he says that he likes Jade Ghost because “It lets him disappear and focus on the race”
Inquisitive and proactive, questioned others about how the world was destroyed in the Iblis future his whole life, fought Iblis to try and clear the sky himself, spent most of Team Sonic Racing cracking down on Dodon Pa and Eggman, reads into “Ancient Wisdom” in the good future
Sharp and intuitive, Figures out how to revive Sonic in 06, sees through Eggman Nega's disguises by noticing small details, does successful detective work in Sonic 06 and Team Sonic Racing, intuits Blaze trying to control great powers when seeing them for the first time, has solved various puzzles and mysteries by himself, “knows a lot” according to Sonic in Silver’s Sonic Channel introduction story
Skilled and Crafty, skillfully accomplishes various tasks during his Town Missions in Sonic 06, turns his fight with Sonic into a race to collect Chao in Sonic Rivals 2, Vector refers to him and Blaze as professionals in the Team Vector Nintendo Dream interview, has had jobs as a delivery boy, a figure skater, a “genius” skating coach and a butler
Trains off-screen and makes steady efforts to improve his abilities, seems to be self-taught in his skills
Sometimes takes everything on himself
Warrior with a warrior mentality, described as a warrior, enjoys fighting and will fight his friends for fun, fought and struggled for half his life in the Iblis future, values bravery and facing things head on, dislikes cowardice and indirect tactics, can endure “pain beyond description” and is undeterred by injuries (Shadow’s infamous kick to the head only made him mad)
Competitive and proud/confident in his abilities, has a smug attitude about his abilities and can get competitive over something as simple as handling Orbot and Cubot, clashes with Blaze the first time(s) they meet because of this
Headstrong and Confrontational, confronts Infinite alone because of this, gets offended when Blaze she calls him “weak” and treats him like an amateur
Very Emotional, tends to rush in and deal with things too head-on because of the strength of his feelings and start confrontations because he gets heated, his passion drives him forward but this same passion can cause him to be rash as his actions are dominated by his feelings
Hot Tempered and impatient, can be easily angered and gets frustrated or indignant when things don’t go his way, can get annoyed at things that get in the way or impatient with things that aren’t to the point, his sense of justice causes righteous indignation at great injustices, his temper can be quite similar to Blaze’s
Has Aggressive energy in both his demeanor and body language, generally has confident or determined expressions, often makes fists, punches things when he's frustrated and gets up by punching the ground
Can be Ruthless, has resorted to playing possum, sneaking past Soleanna guards, robbing people and killing to accomplish his goals
Courageous to the point of being Reckless, puts other’s safety before his own, instantly reacts to protect those around him when attacked in Sonic Comic, Instantly battle ready when surprised in Generations, fought against Iblis and its monsters from a very young age growing up in an extremely hazardous devastated future, both values bravery and dislikes cowardice, recklessly went off to face Infinite on his own and is noted to not back down even in the face of his mighty power, will sacrifice himself without a second thought if necessary
His way of life inspires others and makes them want to cheer him on, this even extends to real life as the illustration at the top this post inspired everyone in the office to give him a high five that day
Cannot lie but can change the subject
Doesn’t know how to explain/express himself at times
Scratches his head with his index finger when processing his thoughts
Feels joy and anger loudly but is quiet in sadness and contemplation
Gets rowdy, riled up and puts his all into things he’s feeling but is very low and quiet when something is on his mind or he’s feeling down(He’s totally autistic, this is autistic volume)
Has a mischievous side
Like apples, ate apple flavored rations in the Iblis future
Deeply appreciates peace, prosperity and people‘s smiles, beautiful vistas and people living peacefully leave him breathless
His desire for peace is seemingly driven by strong empathy for both the people and environment around him, blue skies make him feel at peace, natural beauty and people living prosperously takes his breath away, desolate or destroyed areas sadden and upset him, he can’t help but smile when he makes others smile and can’t stand to see the suffering in his destroyed futures
Has a very quiet, introspective and empathetic side (he deeply and quietly reflects on the morality of his mission throughout 06 and quietly takes in everything about Elise’s past)
AB blood type meaning that he's dual natured and adaptable based on the situation
Is a Taurus

Sonic Prime Extended Universe HCs - No Place
so we know that the Shatterverses aren’t “real,” full universes, just  distorted reflections of the Prime that aren’t fully-formed, hence why  there’s only like 6 people and two locations. However fucking around is  fun fun fun so I’m just gonna do a post for each universe dissecting  where the other Sonic Universe characters would be and what they’d be up  to. Please for the love of GOD add your own ideas/hcs in the comments I  want us all to melt into creativity mush.
No Place
sorry this is kinda short im buzzing with excitement about prime dropping tomorrow
go ask @birdsareblooming about her pirate au
As expected, Blaze and Marine’s lives are mainly unchanged. They’ve got more of a pirate aesthetic though so obviously this is a massive W
Silver’s been on more sunken ships than he can count. He’s pretty sure he’s cursed.
Sally is the Captain of her own ship with the whole SatAM squad as the crew. If there’s no wind Dulcy just ties a harness to herself and flies the ship. And then lands in the water because they won’t let her crash on the deck anymore. Bunnie has a peg leg
Tekno’s ship can fly. dont ask how, she’s very talented.
Mighty and Ray are still very pacifistic but Ray is quite adventurous so they cross paths with quite a lot of dangerous folk in their travels. Mighty is, thankfully, very good at defending himself
The ARK was an actual arc...,.,.,
Mina is a Siren
Cosmo’s species are very landlocked, however most of the world is underwater so their land is definitely fading fast. She’s got Moana Syndrome and wants to see what’s out there!!
Nobody expects Vanilla to be a formidable adversary. They are all very, very wrong. Gemerl may be Cream’s bodyguard but his second job is holding Vanilla back
God how many times do I have to say Sticks is thriving. She really just loves chaos
You know who else is thriving? The Babylon Rogues. Wave and Rouge have a homoerotic rivalry and Jet is sooooo tired of it he sees Dread’s ship coming and starts banging his head against the mast
Hooligans are also fucking THRIVING. Fang’s ship is small but nimble, and can outpace almost any other ship. And, yes, Bean mans the cannons.
If the Zeti aren’t on their hex they have their own ship of insanity. Imagine the chaos. They’re all trapped on the ship together. Zeena has used Zor as sharkbait more than once.
A lot of the SCU humans ended up on one boat. Rachel has tried to throw Captain Tom overboard multiple times. She mutinies twice a day. It’s a tradition now. Jojo was told she wasn’t allowed to have her own sword and so she walked over to the cannons and started firing.
Morain is having the time of her LIFE. she LOVES fighting and killing and maiming and biting. Errol is a little more cautious but he cannot stop her
In LOVE with the idea of the Nocturnus being held in stasis in an undersea shipwreck. If only someone would come wake them up. Hey, Dread, let’s go swimming over here...
Breezie has her own crew and she’s #girlbossing. Bokkun on cannons ofc!
Rough and Tumble are so bad at pirating but god bless them they are trying.
Helen is really really into mermaids and Chris and Frances help her design fancy “tails” for dress-up. Chris’s family is rich so obviously he’s a prime target for pirates and he’s just like. used to it by now? Usually Helen and her mechanized chair come into save him so he’s comfortable just being damselled and hanging out in the brig. He brings his own card games for the prisoners of whoever grabbed him this time. He runs into Princess Elise like every other week and they have a competitive tally of who’s been kidnapped the most.
Tangle also has Moana Syndrome and has been desperate to go pirating since she like. came into being. Jewel is on her boat but she’s uncomfortable with violence so she just hides below deck and does all the paperwork and organization. Lanolin is the Captain because she’s the only one who can organize AND fight at the same time.
Whisper cautiously joins Lanolin’s crew after they help her out of a jam at a pirate bar. It took a while, but she became accustomed to Tangle’s wild ways and would die and kill for her.
Her previous crew was killed in a shipwreck. What killed them?
MIMIC SEA MONSTER MIMIC SEA MONSTER
The Sonic Boom Village are all on a ship together. Zooey is shockingly one of their best fighters and Sails would probably fall in love with her instantly. Perci considers herself the crew’s guardian and is very protective of them and of the ship, which she repairs herself. Dave still can’t cook for shit and Staci somehow still has a cell phone
Starline literally fished up Surge and Kit in a net. Kitsunami is a water spirit and had his water powers naturally in this universe, and he’s bound to Surge b/c life debt or smth.
Eyepatch!Infinite or bust
Clutch runs one of those pirate hideouts, like Port Royal in Pirates of the Caribbean, and he’s got tabs on EVERYONE. He’s got dirt on EVERYONE. Don’t cross him.
Instead of a moon, The End takes the form of a swirling whirlpool.

- Sonic the hedgehog. A name that constantly rings through your mind constantly. You most likely discovered him around some point from the baseball scene to near the end just like how Tails did. You had heard about his antics on earth and to say you liked him was an understatement. Judging on the info you had discovered from the most recent event with him and eggman you became a massive fan of him. Can anyone blame you? He helped you be inspired in your own way. Even if you had some problems expressing yourself mostly due to fear of what people might think of you. You wanted to prove your worth but you just didn’t know how.
- You really wanted to meet him even dreaming of what he would be like if you were to talk to him. Would he take interest or not? You were contemplating on going to earth just to meet him in real life. Show him how he has helped you in a way without directly meeting you. But you let your insecurities get the better of you. Eventually you decided to risk and travel to earth, you didn’t know what you were going to do when you got there, you didn’t really have any other motive besides meeting your idol. With Eggman gone as far as you were aware of and no one else who wanted to carry out his plan you didn’t really have any reason to go and get yourself into any trouble but still for some reason you felt like you needed to go. It kind of took you a while to get used to being on earth as well trying not to get spotted by pretty much everyone. You never know what they’re reactions could be seeing you and honestly you didn’t want to find out so you created a hide-out like what sonic did in the first movie.
- Now for when Sonic met you for the first time. He managed to come across you and your hide-out on his solo adventure and to say he was surprised was an understatement. There was another mobian like him, he immediately went over to you and started asking you a bunch of questions catching you off guard before immediately recognising him as the idol you love. You were too busy internally fangirling about if this was a dream or not to answer his questions.
+ “Ma’am is everything alright there?” Sonic asked, managing to snap you out of your fangirl trance concerned about the lack of reaction coming from you “oh…yeah I am, you're sonic right like the actual sonic?” You asked in return wanting to confirm it even though you knew it was. Sonic gave you a confused look before slowly answering your question “yeah I am sonic, why do you ask?” You gave him a cheerful smile before bringing him into a hug, surprising him even more but still hugged you in return despite just meeting you. You then told him about how much of a fan you were of him, telling him how much you appreciated him to which he thanked you and joked about he never knew he had fans.
- Pretty much since then he wanted to introduce you to Tom and Maddie because why not, they were also starting to suspect something with him constantly going off to see you. At first you were nervous because based on how he described them you guessed they were humans and your nervousness was getting the best of you but sonic managed to convince you that they really didn’t mean any harm and you trusted him so you decided to go with him to meet the two of them. As soon as you met the two of them they were excited they’d pretty much had gotten used to seeing sonic so seeing you with him although surprised to see someone like sonic they openly welcomed you with open arms, they were just happy that sonic met someone else. Also Sonic may have been teased by Tom about you especially since you were a female but except for that they enjoyed meeting you.
- Sonic will be your number one defender. If anyone even dares to make you upset about something he isn’t going to sit there and let you take it, making you even more self conscious. He doesn’t like seeing his friends upset, it kind of makes him both angry and upset himself seeing you just take insults being thrown at you.
- He pretty much noticed a bit after meeting you that you're very self conscious about yourself. Although you seemed to be somewhat open, when it came to expressing yourself and your strengths he noticed how unwilling you were to do it. He didn’t really understand why at first because he thinks you're really cool. You must have some sort of strength if you were willing to leave your home planet just to visit him. But once he learns about your lack of confidence he honestly feels bad for you. He could tell by the way you talked to him that you do genuinely want to prove yourself to the world; you just let your feet get the best of you. So with the new information he learned about you he’s willing to do anything to help raise your confidence. He feels like he has to, what sort of idol would he be if he didn’t?
- He takes it a step at a time, although he was wanting to make sure that you gain your confidence he knows it will take some time. You two will often have one on one sessions basically letting you express your feelings (imagine that scene when sonic is acting like a therapist but it’s with you and not just him).
- Eventually when Eggman returns from Mushroom planet Sonic definitely wants you to join him alongside Tails. He knows this would be a big step for you but he sees this as an opportunity and wants you to join him. He promises to keep both you and Tails safe as long as you're with him. Although a bit nervous yourself you could see what his point was and you knew he wouldn’t let you get harmed. You wanted to prove yourself and put what you learned from him to use so without thinking you joined him. And to say that it felt oddly good to finally do what you wanted to was an understatement. Still you were nervous but that nervousness was overwritten by adrenaline and relief. Although you went through some things during the trip to get the chaos emerald it was worth it in the end. This is when you decided to permanently join Sonic’s group alongside your new friends Tails and eventually when he decided to join Knuckles.

"Sonic and Tails" this, "Maria and Shadow" that. "The avatar," "Silver and Blaze," etc etc they're ALL representative of frienship as a theme in Sonic, but can we talk about how ALL pale in comparison to Knuckles??
Who else to be the epitome of the theme of Frienship in STH than the very one who lacked frienship for most of his life?
Knuckles spent most of his time alone, with no one else in Angel Island but himself, some chao, and ruins upon ruins of a civilization long gone and forgotten.
its not until years of solitude that he meets eggman, sonic, and tails
and SURE, he is tricked by eggman into a fake frienship, and his first impression of the Prower siblings is of enemies in his territory, but... that quickly changes
He is betrayed by eggman the very day he had formed a bond with him, but also sees Sonic actively try to help him, he can't do anything but to trust Sonic, even after his trust was shattered by someone else
he chooses to trust Sonic's acts instead of Eggman's words.
Eventually Sonic is able to retrieve the Master Emerald back to Knuckles, and he and Tails fly away from Angel island.
and it makes you wonder what did Knuckles feel, his first friend had turned into a traitor, the rival he made had left, he had been alone for most of his life but
do you think it was until then when he felt lonely?
But it does not end there, whenn the egg robo and mecha sonic steal the M.E. and Knuckles has to destroy mecha, Knuckles almost falls to what could've been his death, griping to the Master emerald...
But he is rescued by Sonic and Tails, and taken to safety back to Angel Island.
Eventually Sonic and Tails returning to his island would become more and more recurrent, including other threats like Eggman.
Knuckles was no longer alone, Sure Sonic teases him over everything, and he is often ready to fight him if he crosses a line or two
but he never sees Sonic as an enemy, he always cares. and he starts to care for others too, Rouge, Amy, people keep entering his life and, not leaving.
But he never chases anyone out of his island except for eggman, even when he tries to get Rouge's hands off the Emerald he doesn't try to harm her, he just stands his ground.
He often chooses to leave the Master Emerald unguarded if it means he can help his friends
during the metal virus he just tells sonic that he keeps bringing trouble to his island, but he doesn't throw him out of it, even if he knows sonic is a threat, because sonic is his friend.
Knuckles is a character who once knew not of frienship but quickly became friends with so many people, and if it wasn't because of Eggman (incidentally) he wouldn't have had ever met such great friends

Another World Ogiri February 2023 [What are Amy and Blaze doing...? ]
I came here because I heard it was a shocking egg fortune telling, but it was even better than I imagined.
Two characters appear every month in surprising outfits and situations! Let's enjoy Ogiri together with illustrations that will make your imagination run wild!
This time, two good friends appear as a fortune teller and a magic princess (?)!
It seems that Blaze, wearing a cute costume, has come to see fortune teller Amy for advice...?
What kind of lines or narration would you use?
You can set it up with the two's usual atmosphere and worldview, or you can make it bold... Enjoy it freely and tweet with the tag #Isekai Ogiri on Twitter ♪
We will introduce the good ones in a reply from Sonic's official Twitter account.
We are looking forward to your fun Ogiri posts!
Act2: "The Magic Princess's Yuutsu"
<<Smack! >>
A flash from an elegant upper stance. A hammer is swung down on a boiled egg, and the shells fly off.
"So far...? Is this arrangement...?"
Amy crawls to the floor to check for shell fragments, takes a seat, and loudly declares:
“With the guidance of Clothesline and Egg, your problems will be resolved in no time!”
A ``Fortune Telling Hall'' was there before I knew it. Amy's "Egg Fortune Telling" has a great reputation for being very accurate. A girl with many worries visited Amy again today.
``I have been fighting as the Magic Princess for many years, but I have only been able to save a few hundred people at most... At this rate, I will never be able to eradicate the roots of evil and save the world.'' Am I... powerless? ”
She is Blaze...a just "magic princess" who saves common people from the clutches of evil. Her never-ending battle begins to destroy her confidence, and she confides her troubles to her long-time friend Amy...
As soon as she takes her seat, Amy is full of confidence and speaks in a gentle preaching tone.
"Okay, Blaze? You've already saved hundreds of people, haven't you? Be proud! This is no place to be depressed! You know, that's what you see in the eggs, too, right?"
Ignoring Blaze, who looks at the egg again with confusion, Amy continues.
"You are not helpless. Think about it? All the hundreds of people you saved will surely help someone else again. That chain, that connection of hearts, will one day save the entire world. Isn't it?" "Uh, um..."
Blaze was under pressure, but eventually he looked down and quietly smiled bitterly.
"I guess it's a mistake to try to solve everything by yourself..." "Yeah. But, nothing would have happened if you hadn't started it, right?"
Amy opens the window and lets in the night sky.
"See? The clothesline is great. You can hang any laundry to dry. It's you, and it's everyone at the same time. If everyone supports each other, the world will eventually become a clothesline. .The arrangement of the eggshell also shows this."
"I-Is that so...?"
Come to think of it, Blaze remembers that this was a fortune telling. The eggshell that fell on the floor and the constellation ``Clothespin'' in the night sky shine in the light of the two blue moons.
It was a strange fortune-telling, but at any rate, she felt a sense of reassurance, as if her sinking heart had been supported by something warm. Did Amy's "clothing rod" arrive?
"See! With my worries resolved, there was another message in the egg fortune-telling. That was...'Break out of your shell and challenge the unknown!'" " ... .T-Challenge!?”
``I tell you to wear a cuter, frilly costume! You've been wearing that for years!'' `` No, I'm already wearing this outfit...it's embarrassing, but...'' ..” “If you decide, let’s go shopping! Don’t delay!”
Amy said as she grabbed Blaze's arm and started running. Blaze, who is overwhelmed, tries to keep up with him while somehow popping a boiled egg into his mouth, thinking that he shouldn't waste his food.
"Come on, Blaze! Follow the egg's guidance and get the cutest outfit!"
Later...The charm of the new costume Magic Princess has rapidly increased the number of fans. The day when the chain of peace-loving hearts will cover the world is certainly near.
"Night has dawned..."
The content is completely different from the shadows. It seems that various changes are occurring depending on the region.
Amy's former home has been turned into a fortune-telling hall.
The night sky looks completely different, with two bright blue moons and strange constellations. It's as if this place has become a different world.
It seems that Amy and Blaze's hearts have not changed, but...
The mystery only deepens.
(to be continued)

Elliot the Hedgehog. One of the greatest and most attractive characters ever thought up. He can run at sound speed, take out enemies in a flash, and best of all, he's blue colored and knows how to handle the females. Speaking of females, the Sonic universe might also be classified as "Hot Chick Heaven" because there's such a mess of very beautiful and tough women that it will make you love the franchise even more! And since Valentine's Day is around the corner, I've been inspired to make a top 10 list of the most beautiful female Sonic characters. Grab yourself a snack and a glass of orange juice, and try not to reach through the screen because HERE WE GO!
Number 10: Try this question on for size. Who chases and hugs Sonic all the time and wields a powerful hammer? Why it's Amy Rose of course! Though more of a cutie than a hottie, you can't deny the fact that she's still attractive. Two things that make her attractive are the fact that she wears a dress, and when have you ever seen 3 big, very smooth arcs of hair sticking out of a person's forehead? I haven't! So once again, Amy Rose is lovely; that is until she goes berserk and starts hitting stuff with her hammer.
Who's at number 9? It's this alien plant girl from a distant planet. Cosmo, from Sonic X. She arrived on the character's planet to deliver a message saying that the galaxy was under attack by a force called the Metarex. She doesn't do much except tell people to stop fighting and focus on the real matter at hand. The real reason she lands at the #9 is that she becomes Miles "Tails" Prower's sweetheart, something Tails needed for a long while.
Numero Ocho. Cream the Rabbit's mother, Vanilla. She's attractive and the size of an average human mother. What really surprises me about her is that the leader of Team Chaotix, Vector the Crocodile, falls in love with her. Kinda silly, don't you think? She's another character that doesn't do much, but in a season 3 episode of Sonic X, she helps Chris Thorndyke get into space to fight the Metarex along with Sonic and friends.
What number's next? Seven, of course. Wave the Swallow from Sonic Riders. People always root for the good guys, but sometimes, the bad guys steal the show. Her mechanical IQ is equal to Tails. She also happens to be the smartest member of the Babylon Rogues. I wonder why she isn't the leader. Like Jet the Hawk and Storm the Albatross, her specialty is riding the air-boards called "Extreme Gear". With two very long and smooth feathers extending from her head to her calves and droopy eyes, Wave will rock your socks. If only we could see her take wing.
Numero Six. Tikal the Echidna from Sonic Adventure 1. Named after an ancient Mayan city of the same name, Tikal is the daughter of Chief Pachacamac. She's yet another character that hardly does a thing except beg her father to stop being so greedy. She also traps herself inside the Master Emerald so that the water god Chaos doesn't reign terror upon the land. When you're the daughter of a person in the highest power, you need to look your best and Tikal delivers perfectly. That's why she's #6.
Number 1, 2, 3, 4, 5! Ah-Ah-Ahhh! Mina Mongoose from the Sonic Archie comics. How could you go wrong with a girl that looks like this? She can run nearly as fast as Sonic and she went from being a Freedom Fighter to being a popstar singer. Next to Princess Sally she looks more humanoid than the other characters. Who could top someone who has long mauve hair?
This female standing at number 4: Blaze the Cat. One word: Pyrokinesis. How would you like to have that superpower? I mean Blaze could play around in the Himalayas for hours and she would be perfectly fine! Also, 45 degree ponytail makes her look like a Native American. I really like the fact that her love interest is the telekinetic hedgehog Silver. The combination of mind-moving and fire superpowers make these two a reliable couple. But what really lands Blaze in the #4 spot is that her attitudes apparently more different from the other females.
Next up is #3. What's better than having a female with cascading quills? How about a female with cascading quills and hair? Julie-Su the Echidna, another Archie comic exclusive has that feature. She's smart, knows exactly what to do as a freedom fighter, and even trained Amy once. She's also the girl of Knuckles' dreams. Heh, lucky him. Her older self in the series Mobius: X Years Later is just downright hot! Just look at that long ponytail! Now we're talkin'!
Number 1, 2, button my shoe! Princess Sally Acorn. There's a lot to say about this character. She's the heir to the throne, Sonic's first official romance, the only character that used to not wear clothes, brave and athletic, the most humanoid character, and is like a mother to Tails. In the TV show, Sonic SatAM, one Freedom Fighter, the cowardly Antoine constantly tries to woo Sally, but doesn't succeed because... he's a coward! The Princess is also a semi-perfect example of an excellent love interest, although there were a couple of times when she really snapped and acted like a lunatic; in the comics, that is. But overall, Sally Acorn really stands out amongst the slew of females not just because she's Sonic's first official love interest, or because she's the only one who didn't wear clothes, but because in the comics, she grew very long hair, and married Sonic in the future, becoming the Queen.
So, you've seen a pyrokinetic Cat, a swallow, two gorgeous echidnas, and even a princess! Who could possibly top those kinds of females? Well, get ready folks; this is the #1 hottest Sonic the Hedgehog female character. Rouge the Bat. If anybody denies it, how dare you? This woman can fly, she's as strong as Knuckles, and is a femme fatale, seducing other characters into getting what she wants. Instead of having one love interest, she has two! Knuckles, and Shadow the Hedgehog. Being a treasure thief, she's only interested in one object set; jewels, especially the Chaos Emeralds. There actually have been situations where Rouge's cleavage has been exposed, but it eventually got censored. What a price to pay. I think the best part about this beauty is that she wears three different outfits unlike the other female characters. And who wouldn't want to fly across the landscape via strong as Shawn Johnson, and flirt with any male, anytime, anywhere. These three traits make Rouge the Bat triumph over all of the Sonic the Hedgehog females. My hat goes off to you Sonic Team USA. You oughta be proud.
There ya have it folks. Those were the hottest female chicks in the Sonic universe. I hope you enjoyed it, happy Valentine's Day, and I'll see you later. HERE WE GO!
sure

Number #1, #2, #3, #4, #5! Ah-Ah-Ahhh! Mina Mongoose from the Sonic Archie comics. How could you go wrong with a girl that looks like this? She can run nearly as fast as Sonic and she went from being a Freedom Fighter to being a popstar singer. Next to Princess Sally she looks more humanoid than the other characters. Who could top someone who has long (some French word I don't know) hair?
1, 2, button my shoe!

The Three Sides Of Silver
Silver's characterization is interesting to me, because he's had three distinct characterizations in Sonic 06, Sonic Rivals, and TSR/IDW. These personalities each have a decent amount of difference between them, so you could say that the changes are just a result of Sonic Team tweaking his character to work better with the rest of the cast, but that's not what I think. I believe that Silver's changes in personality all have in universe reasons and give us some interesting insight into him, but before I talk more about that, I'll quickly summarize all three versions of him
How They Think Of Themselves
06: In 06, Silver ponders whether killing someone to save the future is the right thing to do, and at the end of the game he tells Blaze that he wouldn't know what to do without her. Blaze also mentions him getting insecure when he's alone, so it's safe to assume that Silver isn't very self-assured in 06
Rivals: Silver is very confident in himself in the Rivals series, to the point of arrogance. He clearly thinks highly of himself, since he has lines like "Who's the best?" and "I'm better"
Modern: In TSR and IDW, Silver's view of himself is a balance between 06 and Rivals. He has faith in himself, but not to an unhealthy degree. He also still has doubts sometimes, but these are usually related to his future, and not just about himself as an individual
How They Treat Others
06: Silver has a lot of kind interactions with others here, the two that stand out most to me being his first meeting with Amy where he forgives her for making him lose sight of Sonic, and him comforting Elise 10 years in the past. Of course, he's also aggressive towards Sonic and Shadow at first, attacking both of them at least once, but he does eventually warm up to both of them though once he learns they're not his enemy. Ultimately, this Silver is nice to everyone who isn't his enemy, and has the potential to be very caring
Rivals: For the most part, Silver is rude and dismissive to others in the Rivals games, brushing them aside to focus on his goals, and getting angry at them if they get in his way. The one notable exception to this is Espio. While their conversations start off rocky, as they work together throughout the game, they grow closer and develop a genuine friendship. Because of this, I think that Rivals Silver is also capable of being friendly and kind to others, it'll just take more time due to him being standoffish
Modern: In TSR and IDW, Silver is very kind to his friends, and everyone else he meets who isn't a villain. He'll still roast people while he's in a competition, but it's just playful ribbing. This Silver is the most caring of all 3, I think this isn't because he has a higher capacity for it than the others, but because he expresses his compassion the most openly
How They Go About Accomplishing Their Goals
06: Silver is very determined in his goal of fixing his future, and was ready to kill Sonic to accomplish it. However, this goal isn't the sole thing on his mind, he's willing to go along with Amy while she's trying to find Sonic (Before he knew that Sonic was also who he was looking for)
Rivals: Silver is even more focused on saving the future in Rivals than he is in 06, it's the only thing he really cares about. Because of this, he sees most people in relation to said goal, if they can't help him with it they're not important, and if they're in his way then he's willing to fight them
Modern: Silver is more relaxed about keeping his future safe in IDW (His future isn't in jeopardy in TSR, he's there because he got an invitation to the race), it's just a thing that he needs to work towards while he's in the past, and not something that he's desperate to complete. He's allowed himself to take time to relax and appreciate the past, like in Victory Garden
Now that I've explained the three iterations of Silver's character, I can get to the main part of this post. I think that Modern Silver is who Silver truly is, and both 06 Silver and Rivals Silver stem from him, their differences coming from their more harsh environments. For example, Rivals Silver's excessive self confidence is because he grew up with nobody else around him, he needed to have absolute confidence in himself as the (presumed) sole survivor of the apocalypse, or he would have nothing. He's tunnel visioned about his goal because he believes he's the only one in the world who can make things right, and he's rude and dismissive to people because he's never learned how they can be kind and helpful, so at first he sees them as nothing more but obstacles that are getting in the way of him accomplishing his all important goal. As people help him with these missions (Mostly Espio in Rivals 2, but there are other instances), he learns that others aren't just wastes of time, they can be trusted. Knowing this, Silver starts to form friendships with those around him, and becomes less arrogant as he begins to trust others. He starts to realize just how nice it is to finally have people to talk to, to be around, and begins making an effort to be nicer and less closed off so they'll enjoy being around him more and forge stronger connections. Silver begins to get anxious while talking sometimes, since his social skills aren't the sharpest yet and he's worried about getting a bad grade in friendship, but nobody minds it. As he realizes how great the world is, he begins to feel something he's never felt before, pure joy and excitement about the things around him. It's a great feeling, so he opens himself up even more to the world, so he can share his excitement with other people and give them that same feeling. When a disaster strikes in his future again, Silver is much more relaxed about it, because he knows that with some help from others he'll be able to handle it. Another reason for this more laid back attitude is because he's come to love the past, mostly because of all the friends he has in it, so he now takes time to enjoy the past and everything in it before fixing his future and returning. At this point, Silver has fully transformed from his Rivals personality to his modern one. He's gone from rude, tunnel visioned and self absorbed, to loving, cheerful, and a great friend
06 Silver wasn't given time to develop like Rivals Silver was due to in and out of universe reasons, but he is still interesting to examine, as comparing the two shows just how much difference Blaze being there with him made. Opposed to the way Silver is in Rivals, he's not confident in himself, because he's been helped in his fight to survive by someone else for his entire life. When he's left by himself, he begins to get nervous and doubt his abilities, because he doesn't truly know what he's capable of without anyone else supporting him. After his failed attempt to kill Sonic, Silver begins questioning if he's doing the right thing for this reason, he doesn't know if his own decisions and judgement are the right solution because he's not sure if he's good at figuring out things like this. A more positive trait Blaze's presence gave Silver is the social skills and compassion he gained from having someone else to talk to in the ruined future. He's still a bit awkward in his conversations sometimes, but he tries his best to be kind to most people he meets, similar to Modern Silver. He's less openly cheerful or excited, but that's likely due to his awkwardness and the tension of having to save the future weighing on him. He is aggressive and rude to Sonic and Shadow, but he believes them to be his enemies, and warms up to them after he figures out that they're on his side. He's just as driven with his goal to save the future and destroy Iblis, but it doesn't consume him as much as it does in Rivals, since he agrees to search for Sonic with Amy before he knows that Sonic is the Iblis trigger. He also helps comfort Elise 10 years in the past by giving her a Chaos Emerald, so it seems that this Silver is willing to get momentarily distracted from his goal if it means doing the right thing. Overall, 06 Silver is pretty similar to Modern Silver, but more toned down in terms of expressing happiness. He also has a hint of Rivals Silver present in him in the form of his anger towards Sonic and Shadow during their early encounters, as well as the unique trait of doubting himself when left alone
To sum up, at his core Silver is passionate and driven. Depending on what the world around him is like, this could manifest in a lot of ways. He could be determined to change the past yet caring enough to help people along the way, his passion could be focused only on himself and cause his drive to consume him, or his passion and drive could work in harmony by making his love for the world be the incentive to fight for its future. No matter which one of these it is, he'll always be my favorite character

Silver The Hedgehog Personality
Tumblr media
Silver is best described as having "a strong sense of justice" and it is this personality trait that motivates him to head back into the past to correct the future. He believes in standing up for those who can't stand up for themselves. This led him to accept Blaze when everybody else was teasing her for her pyrokinetic abilities. When he pursues an enemy, he does so with a relentless determination. He makes alliances and rivalries very easily and takes people's word without question; this makes him easily tricked by others. According to his character profile in Sonic Generations, he is an optimist (though as stated by himself in Sonic Forces, while an optimist, he is also a realist).
Although seemingly serious on the outside, an interview states that Silver is young and somewhat immature. Blaze comments on this several times and describes him as naïve and insecure when he is alone. Owing to his naivety, Silver also has no idea of how to engage in more informal conversations with others; when Sonic tried trash talking with Silver during Dodon Pa's Grand Prix, the latter took many of Sonic's statements so literally that Sonic noted that he took all the fun out of such banter. Silver is also a regular sweetheart, always ready to protect those in need and lend a helping hand. He generally keeps a positive attitude and never gives up hope, no matter how objectively hopeless the situation.
Silver wears his heart on his sleeve. He feels anger and joy intensely and loudly, but his sadness is silent and hardly, if ever, marked by tears. He lets his rage control him and cheerfully remarks on the things that make him happy, but hardly says a word in his sadness, though it is visible to everyone. However, though he may feel sad, he never gives in to despair, always looking for a solution the right way. His determination and little regard for pain can make him a very frightening opponent.
Silver is very courageous and brave, willing to fearlessly sacrifice himself for another in a heartbeat. Utterly unflinching in the face of danger, he is courageous almost to the point of foolishness and is the focus on snuffing out evil with little regard for his own safety.
Despite Silver's naivete and general lack of critical thinking, he is not outright slow-witted. Even Eggman Nega called him perceptive, and Silver was the first to see through his otherwise perfect disguise. With little information to draw upon, he lets his intuition guide him, but as a relatively isolated person, he has little understanding of interpersonal relations or the subtle tools of manipulators.
He apparently has a competitive streak and gets a little snotty and a prickly attitude in the heat of the moment, as seen in Sonic Rivals 2; when you play as him and pass your rival, he'll say, "I'm better." or if you win a race or battle, he says, "Who's the best?" In Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, when you win a race he says, "I am not to be trifled with!" and in Sonic Free Riders he sneers "'LATER!'" upon cruising past a fellow competitor. In Sonic the Hedgehog (2006), he generally refers to the Iblis monsters and Eggman's robots as "trash," and typically congratulates himself with a smug tone upon dispatching a roomful of them.
When meeting anyone that gets in his way, particularly in Sonic Rivals and Sonic Rivals 2, Silver can be very short-tempered and bossy towards anyone that's not explicitly helping him in his mission, sometimes even becoming directly hostile and start a fight on a bad choice of words.
When Silver is not focused on his current mission or does not have a task at hand, however, he is very friendly, helpful, and a good companion to have around.

Hi! Hope you're doing okay. I love your Sol Sonic AU! Question:
1. How similar and different is Sol Sonic compared to Canon Sonic and Canon Blaze? Like, in habits, attitude, etc. Obviously he has his need for freedom, but how does he present himself to others? Does his royal upbringing have an impact on his conduct?
2. His fighting style. You made his outfit pants similar to the firefighters in the anime Fire Force. How does he fight, in a a way that differs from his Canon counterpart and Canon Blaze? Does he breakables a lot? Does he ever learned swordsmanship, because imagine Sonic wielding a sword made of fire.
3. Character conclusion. Sonic's need for freedom vs his duty to his kingdom. Does he pass the ruling to someone else at the end, or does he forsake his desire for freedom completely after his mission? Or does he find a compromise between the two?
4. You said that Sonic's sens of duty towards his kingdom is stronger than his desire to be free. What got him to finally act on that desire? What villain, or threat, motivated him enough to strike out without contacting anyone else for help to deal with the threat in his stead?
These are all I have for now. Take your time in answering them. Love your artstyle and your Sonic Prime AU of Shadows. Drink and eat regularly!
strap in. this response got REALLY long
1
sol sonic isn't a fusion between sonic and blaze's personalities! his personality is the same as it's always been, it's just now, he's been forced into a situation that's not suited for him. his royal status challenges his free spirit and makes it difficult for him to truly live the way he wants to. it's hard on him-- he represses a lot, and finds himself oftentimes feeling dissatisfied with his life.
as for how he presents himself to others… sonic, canonically, creates a mask for himself, a very specific image that he wants other people to see. it's the same with sol sonic. except now, there's an extra layer of "everyone is counting on me AND it's my job". so the pressure is up even more. he can't show his sadness or dissatisfaction, he can't let people know when he's frustrated, because he has to keep a level head and make the best decisions he can for everyone.
most people view him as incredibly intimidating, but that's just because he's got an iron grip on his emotions. he can't cry. not because of sega… but because he needs to be the person people can rely on to keep everything together, even when anyone else would be falling apart.
he doesn't have much fondness for other royals. he's friendly enough, and plenty cordial, but the only one he has any real connection with is the neighboring kingdom's princess, elise. they bond over being put in a position they didn't ask for. and he finds some comfort in knowing he's not alone in feeling the weight of a kingdom on his shoulders (although, he doesn't tell her that obviously).
as for his "royal upbringing"… i think he thinks it's silly. he's not one to "follow expectations" if he finds them boring and pedantic. he's very casual when it comes to the way he interacts with all that high society shit. but he knows-- it's just another part of the mask. and he should at least try to keep up appearances. so he'll entertain it. but he never takes it very seriously.
2
his fighting style isn't much like blaze's… that type of flashy wizard type shit. it's not really his style. i'd imagine he uses his fire powers in a much more melee type style. fire kicks/punches etc. i also think it'd be fun if he kind of like, incorporated break dancing into his fighting style? like his moves are very reminiscent of a street dancer-- cuz that's his REAL personality. the freedom he feels when he can let loose with his flames reflected perfectly in the style…
also, i'm gonna say hard yes on him using a fire sword. that's literally the coolest concept ever and i was already thinking about drawing something like that at some point so yeah. it goes hand in hand with his more hands on combat style too, since the "sword" is really just an extension of himself (as opposed to something that can be sent flying like a fireball).
3
"does he pass the ruling to someone else at the end"… sonic would never shirk responsibility to someone else just because he didn't want to do it. he doesn't want to-- but he will. "it's not about chivalry for me, i just gotta do what i've gotta do." he takes care of people, he protects them-- how could he simply stop doing that? just because it's difficult for him? absolutely not.
but he doesn't forsake his desire for freedom either. after his quest to save the world, he realizes he can kinda have a hannah montana moment. the best of both worlds. he can go out and interact with the world WITHOUT abandoning anyone. in fact, he can find new ways to help people through venturing out. he's still tethered to his duty, but he can stretch his legs. if only just a little bit.
4
so... the question has to do with the overall plot of this au. so i'll explain that now: basically, what if iblis is sealed in the sol dimension but like, not perfectly? there's cracks. fire comes through... and iblis minions rise up, tormenting civilians and endangering property and etc. so sonic takes it upon himself to manage that, even though he's not supposed to leave the castle. then one day, the sol emeralds mysteriously go missing, and silver appears. not a good sign. sonic takes the opportunity to get the hell out, reasoning that it won't take /too/ long to save the world.
canonically, blaze sealed iblis away and saved the future. but what if the god was able to escape death? what if it fled to an alternate timeline... where things are just a little bit different?
so, the person who stole the sol emeralds was actually mephiles. not au mephiles. THE mephiles. from canon. and he's got a horrible grudge against sonic... mephiles' plan is to lure sonic away from the castle so he can trick the prince into unsealing iblis. by a twist of fate, this time it's sonic, who, with the power of the sol emeralds, is the only person capable of such a feat.

Modern Amy does have the flanderizations unlike Classic and Boom, but THIS Amy had most of the best moments too. Here’s what Modern has canonically under her belt:
SA1 she saw the bigger picture involving Gamma, she pointed out that love isn’t part of robot’s’ programming and they’re missing something good.
Also in SA1 she stepped up to Sonic from destroying Gamma; stepping up to your crush especially when you haven’t won their heart yet is harder than we think. When liking someone it’s normal to try being on the best terms with them. If they’re doing something that rubs you the wrong way that could taint those terms. (Ofc it’s the right thing to step up regardless)
Her moment with Shadow from SA2. It has been discussed many times why it’s so good but I’ll at least put down this: Amy KNOWS there’s shitty people and bad things but she also sympathizes for others and decides to see the good anyway. It’s waaaay easier to fall into negativity and despair when things get bad. This moment is somewhat similar to the story Pandora’s Box when all the bad stuff flew out but one thing within that seems so tiny but is powerful which was hope. Deciding to see the good is like that hope.
Heroes has been seen as this as one of Amy’s more infamous portrayals but really? Was her crush for Sonic executed the best? Depends on the person, but not the worst. Still, she stayed with her team until they reached their goal. Sure she knew doing that will lead her to Sonic but once again, it’s not bad. Why isn’t anyone complaining about the fact the Chaotix, Rouge, Sonic, Shadow were picking fights too? WTFH…
In Battle, another portrayal and one I actually think isn’t so good, or part of it. (Girl, starving yourself thinking Sonic will like you if you’re skinny? Really? If Sonic has issues then that’s his issue not yours!) However, she helped Emerl with his skills. She was pretty much like everyone else but yet none of them get pointed out for their portrayals.
Riders is sorta known for the bad portrayal between her and Sonic but really it wasn’t bad (the voice direction like tone of voice was different between the English and Japanese, the ladder being more accurate to the characters) until the very end of Heroes story which was when Sonic blew her away along with Eggman. Can’t we be in her shoes for a moment? If someone, one of your friends SonAmy or not they are friends didn’t consider your safety especially like THAT would you be happy? Don’t think so. It’s valid to be pissed. Ofc you should point it out.
06 might’ve been (technically) erased but it still shows Amy’s positive side. If it were to happen again and not be erased there’s little to no doubt that Amy would do the same thing. Like in SA1 she saw the bigger picture by putting aside her crush for Sonic and saving the world. One of things it highlighted was her loyalty. This did show in Heroes too, if she wasn’t loyal she would’ve ditched Cream and Big. People can say all they want about Amy choosing Sonic over the world; the other option is to BETRAY her friend who she’s known for a long time and be like, “Hey, Sonic, my friend who I just met Silver who says you’ll destroy the world so I’m siding with him.” THAT would be bad. (Though in Silver’s defense it was from a valid sense and didn’t know who Sonic was but that’s not the focus right now. Amy is brave for stepping up to Silver who clearly outclassed her in skills) Can we also point out that Rouge and Omega did the same thing yet nobody complained about that? Even if it was worded differently, there’s still a sense of hypocrisy.
Rush had Amy tell Blaze, who was very closed off, about the idea that having friends is truly uplifting. Heck Blaze was even intrigued and had a slight smile because of Amy’s upbeat vibe.
Unleashed highlighted Amy to be in no way shallow when it comes to her crush with Sonic: she states to Sonic that no matter what, he’s still her Sonic. How sweet and endearing is that? She even planned to throw a party for him. Clearly she was trying to uplift his spirit. Sonic wasn’t going through a good time, externally and internally. When all hope seemed lost she openly said that Sonic WILL succeed. Also highlighting her faith, another powerful thing. She had faith in previous games too, like having faith that Sonic will listen to her to not destroy Gamma, faith in the good of humanity in SA2, and as mentioned earlier her faith that in 06 Sonic would never destroy the world but save it.
All of the examples above are from the time era of her “obsessive” days that detractors like use to prove that she’s just a “stalker/yandere/etc”.
I will admit that things like Sonic X didn’t do her justice during that era. Though that is partly thanks to the shit English dub and SOA.
Post 2010 hasn’t really been too great but even in Lost World she told Sonic to save the world, believing there’s a chance even though she felt for sure she wasn’t going to be alive for it. She did say it was too late but it felt like she was referring to the latter, not her having a lack of faith. In Forces she was part of the Resistance. Like previous titles she did her part. Minus a few games, she was always an active participant, even in a game like the Black Knight while even it was not exactly the Amy Sonic knew, Nimue was still a counterpart. Like in the Secret Rings with Ali Babba!Tails and Sinbad!Knuckles there was a connection to Sonic’s POV. Frontiers has been pointed with its faults especially with storytelling (seriously previous games, even the most beloved ones, had this issue too) but even then the desire of Amy wanting to help, like she always has, was there.
Modern Amy has proven to be a brave, positive, uplifting, helpful, kind, and a non shallow girl who definitely cares about Sonic’s wellbeing. If having those qualities is STILL viewed as the worst portrayal of the character… 🤦🏻‍♀️
P.S.: This post sprouted from seeing comments upholding Classic Amy(from the latest news) and a few for Boom while downplaying Modern Amy. Heck someone literally commented “Classic Amy over Insamy any day.” Insamy means Insane Amy Seriously? It’s cool to see Amy getting love but some people forget that Classic Amy is a younger Modern Amy, soooooo they’re really shitting on the one they “really” like?

What does Silver's naivety mean exactly? He's always described with this word but everyone seems to interpret it differently
The Cambridge dictionary definition of naive is:
too willing to believe that someone is telling the truth, that people's intentions in general are good, or that life is simple and fair. People are often naive because they are young and/or have not had much experience of life.
There's a lot to unpack here, not helped by the fact that Silver's naivete, in my opinion, is definitely not present in all games. In fact, I would even go so far as to say that '06 is the only game that has him as truly naive. I'll put the respective games under headers to make it a bit more readable.
Sonic 06
Let's start with '06. Silver immediately trusts Mephiles when he appears with an alleged simple solution to the problem Silver has been inside of his whole life. He furthermore takes at face value that Mephiles tells the truth and has good intentions, or at the very least does not question those intentions until far later into the game ("Mephiles... Tell me. Who is the Iblis Trigger? Why does he want to destroy the world?"; before the Train Terminal and second boss fight with Sonic). A lot of convincing (starting with Amy showing her unwavering faith in Sonic and Shadow later bluntly intercepting when the seeds of doubt were already planted in Silver's mind) is necessary to make him see the truth of Mephiles' deception. However, I do not think Silver believes life is simple and fair: he expresses frustration in '06 about the endless battle against Iblis he has been fighting for so long:
Blaze: Looks like we stopped it for now. Silver: But, it'll just rise up from its ashes again. [Hits a brick wall with his fist in frustration.] What's the point of all this? It'll never end. Blaze: Calm down, Silver. Silver: [disappointed] Then tell me what we should do. How can we completely destroy Iblis?
So yeah; he is frustrated and angry and does not know what to do anymore. A general conclusion I can draw from '06 is that he is naive there, because he immediately trusts Mephiles has good intentions and provides information with as goal to defeat Iblis forever. Silver does not question Mephiles' motives until much farther into the game.
Sonic Rivals
After that, we get Rivals... and Silver is not naive here, I would say. He is willing to give "Eggman" the benefit of the doubt at the start of his story, expressing a desire to "talk to him" first before taking to brawling multiple times. However, when more and more evidence begins stacking up, he becomes convinced of the idea that "Eggman" is actually a disguised Eggman Nega, and he is right! Furthermore noteworthy is that he figured this out all by himself, through reasoning there is something wrong about "Eggman's" speech and mannerisms, the fact he possesses the camera, and the fact "Eggman" mentions the "present and future". It shows multiple things: Silver is shrewd enough to have a keen awareness of the usual way Eggman Nega behaves, can further compare that to how other people act, can reason that it's highly unlikely Eggman just got his hands on a camera from the future out of nowhere when Eggman Nega is so protective of it, listens well enough to what is being said to notice tiny details and slip-ups, and can draw logical and correct conclusions based on all that information together. It means Silver is not at all dumb or unobservant. And thus, I would say he is not naive here! He doesn't trust "Eggman" as far as he can throw him, but also waits with his accusations before there is so much evidence it is impossible that what he suspects isn't true.
Sonic Rivals 2
And that shrewdness continues in Rivals 2! Eggman Nega directly says: "Ah, Silver, very perceptive! Nothing gets by you, I see." when Silver immediately calls him out when he shows up as "Eggman" again. Thus, he does not fall for the same trick twice! Interesting to note is that Eggman Nega did deny knowing anything about himself when disguised as "Eggman" in Rivals 1; is it possible he knew Silver would not believe him if he tried that again?
However, I would say Silver is somewhat more naive in Rivals 2 than in 1 because of a simple fact: he just figures Espio will know he is telling the truth because he is telling the truth.
Silver: Agh! Where did Eggman Nega take off to? Espio: Silver... What is this about saving our world? Silver: If you want to save your world, we have to hide the Chao in a safe place. Espio: You want me to believe that? Silver: Yes, why? Espio: Unbelievable as it may seem... For some reason, I trust you.
When Espio asks if Silver just wants him to believe that, Silver answers in affirmative while being completely earnest. There is absolutely no consideration of the fact Espio has no reason to believe him and might not believe him at all because Silver currently is basically kidnapping Chao left and right. He even tells Espio straight to his face that he is kidnapping Chao earlier in the game:
Silver: Hey, Espio! Where did you go? Espio: Silver! I know you're responsible for the disappearing Chao. Silver: That's right! To save our worlds. Espio: But that doesn't make sense. Why?
Eggman Nega interrupts before Silver can explain, but also here Silv comes steamrolling through with his honesty like a sledgehammer to the knees. So here Silver's naivete shows itself in an 'opposite' way compared to how it showed in '06, I would say: instead of taking other people at face value, he believes everyone takes him at face value because what he is telling is true. That can furthermore mean he thinks life is 'simple'; nicely black-and-white, where good people like him who want to save the world do not lie and deceive and thus immediately are believed by other good people. It just does not seem to occur to him that people do not automatically believe him, haha! He furthermore gets angry when people express scepticism about his world-saving attempts:
Knuckles: So Silver, what do you want with the Chao, anyway? Silver: I have to save your world or mine will be destroyed, too! Knuckles: What? And you think the Chao can help? You're crazy. Silver: I'll show you how crazy I am. Knuckles: Oh yeah? Bring it on!
I feel it definitely relates to the above-discussed, based on Silver's trusting attitude, but his reactions to not being believed are another story.
Sonic Colours, Sonic Generations and Sonic Forces
In Colours DS, Silver shows a bit more of a sassy side to him, mocking Eggman's ride as inaccurate and boasting to Blaze about his powers. He notices Orbot and Cubot appeared when he and Blaze neared a specific ride, which gives Blaze the incentive to urge Sonic to check it out. There is no indication of naivete as described above here. Silver doesn't have too big a role in Generations next, but he expresses clear distrust for when Sonic suddenly pops up while Silver is hanging out in the void. He asks if Sonic is an imposter/fake sent for the Emerald, and battles with him until Sonic has defeated him, thus proving he is real. Again: not a trace of naivete. I would even go so far as to say him not trusting Sonic immediately is the opposite of naivete.
And the same kind of goes for Forces, really. Silver is on top of things in the Resistance: he is helping with developing plans, he shoots Infinite's taunting down immediately, he is just generally very grounded and desiring to make things right for the world. For this game I truly cannot think of an example that shows him as a naive person. He definitely believes that they can make things better and turn the tide of the war, but not in an overly trusting, 'life is simple and fair' kind of way. At most, his brushing off of the 'strange readings' (Classic Sonic and Tails) in the Mystic Jungle as just another Eggman robot could perhaps show something like that? But I feel like that is quite the stretch and also not unbelievable for him to figure that is the case, considering the entire world is overran by robots at that moment.
Team Sonic Racing
(I nearly forgot about this game, woops.) This one is a bit of a doozy; I think the English Trash Talk Scene which I so detest was meant to give a sense of naivete to Silver... except it just directly contradicts the fact he trash talks everyone in the game itself. And also in this game he is shrewd otherwise: he immediately predicts there will be trouble in his very introduction, he alerts everyone the moment he sees Eggman and Dodon Pa talk (and is furthermore believed immediately by his friends), he asks Omochao's help to keep an eye on the tracks to sate his worries, and confronts Eggman directly about what he and Dodon Pa were discussing. Eggman is as transparant as can be about having hired Zavok in his denial, but Silver might not have been around when that was said (he was not in that cutscene) and thus he very well might have reached that conclusion by himself. So also here: zero taking-things-at-face-value. He does not believe Eggman in the slightest, and all his suspicions and bad feelings that he attempts to tackle and get to the bottom of throughout the game are proven correct.
Overall conclusion
So based on the above info from games and assuming I have not missed something, the only games wherein Silver has shown true signs of naivete are '06 and traces in Rivals 2. In the other games he is far more sceptical and distrustful. Rivals 1 furthermore shows him as quite shrewd and able to put various pieces of information together to see if it aligns with what he thinks is happening. So... I think the conclusion I can get from here is that Silver actually is naive no more, haha! It at least has not been shown in any recent game, with only '06 running on it. The fact that bios still extensively bring it up might relate to the fact Silver's backstory is still heavily tied to '06, which I talked about in an earlier post as well. I do think it is safe to say Silver has a very straightforward mindset: he believes others trust him because he is saying the truth in Rivals 2, the moment Sonic beats him in Generations is the moment he believes that Sonic is the real deal, and so on. So I think that is for me the best way I can describe Silver's naivete: it makes him extremely straightforward and gives him somewhat of a black-and-white mindset wherein people automatically trust him because he is speaking the truth (which is not how the real world works). But he is too perceptive, shrewd, and seemingly good at piecing together clues to be dumb or idiotic, that much is certain.
I feel like I got off-topic somewhat, but I hope I answered your question well!🍀

As for the OC thing, I don't have an inherent problem with them existing (I mean, it's not like I don't have my own OC...), and I can even understand being mindful of wanting them to fully be their own person, as opposed to *just* something that Sonic influences. But of course, IDW has handled them very poorly, with most of them either being just plain shit (like Surge), or the ones who could have been great being ruined to the point of fatigue (like Tangle).
I got my own OCs, too. They're a lot of fun! I will finish their refs one day I just keep drawing dogs instead
I think Sonic as a series is very open to new characters. Unlike something that follows a completely linear story/timeline (like Xenoblade), it's incredibly easy to add someone new to the cast since Sonic is always traveling, looking for the next adventure and meeting new people. If a new character is introduced, it doesn't interrupt the overarching story since each one is relatively self-contained. You can hop in anywhere and that's something I love.
When you have a static character like Sonic who isn't going to have major development arcs, it makes sense to show how his positive attitude and heart of gold inspires others. The story isn't about following his personal growth; it's about how he touches the lives of others.
He helped give Tails confidence after he was bullied, he inspired Amy to become stronger so she could keep up with her hero, taught Blaze she didn't need to shoulder everything alone, showed Chip the world he never knew, and was there for Shahra when she was finally freed from her abusive boyfriend. It's not just Sonic either, this even extends to other characters, such as Amy reminding Shadow what he was created for.
I think that's actually a strong suit of the Sonic series and considering how large the cast is, I believe Sonic Team sees that, too. Which is why I'm missing it so bad in IDW.
Lots of the comic cast are just kinda there and that's okay, not everyone in the game cast is specially touched by Sonic, I mean the Babylon Rogues didn't exactly have a takeaway. Although, there hasn't really been anyone new that Sonic has had a personal impact on.
Tangle was a fighting adrenaline junkie already, Whisper opened up because of Tangle, Tails is just housing Belle and she finds closure on her own, Jewel is...I'll be honest I haven't quite figured that out yet, she really just exists.
Lanolin DOES get inspired to do more because of Sonic, but that's all off-screen and when she doubts herself, it's Tangle that picks her up — not Sonic. The closest I feel we've gotten to a character that Sonic has really affected is Surge and...yeah, she's her own bundle of problems.
I believe Surge and Kit were supposed to be Sonic's consequences — something to make him reflect on his mistakes and possibly take some responsibility for it, but it became condescending. It served for him to double-down on how he was right instead of acknowledging that his actions enabled their creation and continued to cause them pain.
I just saw projection. Surge spouting off about Sonic's holier-than-thou attitude, flinging the criticisms Flynn had gotten at Sonic and digging in his heels that he was right. (I know Stanley handled them after #51, although it appears the writing process is very much a collaborative one and she does try to mimic his style.)
There was nothing learned, nothing gained, no growth for anyone, the arc didn't matter, which is a problem the comic has suffered from before. I recognize it's a challenge with continuous stories, things happen because they're entertaining to read, but there really was no takeaway with any of it.
It's a shame because it'd be so easy to apply the obvious angle of getting close/succeeding in your goal doesn't fix the actual problem. The pain and anger doesn't go away, but now you don't have anywhere to direct it to. That's what I wanted to see with them, but of course, as Flynn said, this isn't something smarter.

Amy rose with a reader who is a mobian version of a mma fighter
Hey thanks for the ask 👋
I think this is slowly turning into a sonic account but I’m honestly not complaining I’m enjoying it. I actually really enjoy Amy’s character despite how she was characterised in the previous games. Anyways hope you enjoy ~ J/Blaze

Tumblr media
- Amy first heard about you when she was listening on some strangers talk about a recent MMA event with you and another mobian, at first she didn’t mean to hear on the conversation but at the same time she couldn’t help but be interested in you despite not having met you yet or know what you do, she decided to eavesdrop on what the strangers were saying while pretending to do something else
+ “Did you see that recent event with [NAME] and the other mobian?” mobian 1 said to the other two “are you kidding? Of course i have i’d never miss an event involving them” the second spoke up trying to sound offended that mobian 1 had even asked that “i have as well, have you seen the way they fight? It’s really mesmerising” the final mobian added on as they thought back to how you fight “fight huh? Are they some sort of championship fighter?” Amy thought to herself as she continued to listen in “I know right! The other one was alright but no one can beat [NAME]” eventually Amy decided to stop eavesdropping and left to carry on what she was doing leaving the three mobians to continue to fan over you.
- As soon as Amy got home she decided to look you up to see what the hype was, you must be really good if people were talking about you like that and she was correct. Not even a full minute into watching a clip of one of your previous and Amy was immediately hooked on watching you. The way you were moving to avoid the opponent's attack left Amy shocked; she never knew someone could move like that. She couldn’t help but watch another video once that one was over. How couldn’t she, you were an amazing fighter. That’s how Amy became a fan of yours.
- After that day every time she hangs out with her other friends she’ll always find a way to bring you in the conversation and tell them how great you were. Some were interested like knuckles, some were not as interested but still were paying attention to Amy’s rambling about you just like how a fangirl would over their favourite artist. As soon as one of your next fights was announced she was already on the website and buying the tickets. She would be one of those fans who always brings a sign with encouragement to show her support. However as much as she would dream to meet you she never thought it would come true.
- One day Amy was having a walk through town listening to her favourite music not really paying much attention to her surroundings when all of a sudden she bumped into someone she immediately went to apologise for bumping into that person when she suddenly stopped as she looked up and down before realising she bumped into you
+ “Miss, are you alright? Sorry for bumping into you?” you apologised to Amy as you checked in case you accidentally hurt her however you were met with a very excited Amy who has accidentally bumped into her idol. With a wide smile she managed to say despite her hyper state “are you [NAME]?” she said not being able to stand still due to her excitement, you immediately put on a slight smile before slightly chuckling to yourself and saying “oh yes i am, your name is?” you put out your hand as a way of saying you wanted to shake Amy’s hand to which she looked at you then your hand surprised before placing both of her hands on yours and quickly shook it as she bowed down a few times still excited “oh my god! It’s a pleasure to meet you! I’m a massive fan of yours, you can call me Amy” she started to ramble on before quickly realising that she was and stopped slightly embarrassed apologising for her behaviour “oh sorry for that I’m just really happy to meet you” she said rubbing the back of her head as a slight blush of embarrassment appears on her cheeks “oh don’t worry Amy it’s fine I’m used to it” you excused her behaviour to which she gave a slight chuckle while smiling “can I have an autograph?” Amy asked shyly to which you said of course. That day was the happiest Amy was.
- Adding on from the previous part, if Amy was to get something from you like an autograph she’ll definitely brag to other people that she got an autograph from you as well as meeting you. She can’t help it. She finally met her favourite person of course she’s going to show it off.
- I’m not sure if there's actual merch consisting of mma people because I’m not really interested in it but regardless if there is some merch of you she’ll be the first to buy it and perhaps buy more. Once in a while she might make some of her own, definitely making it for herself but if she’s feeling nice enough she’ll give it to other people.
- Basically a summary of this is Amy is a massive fangirl over you and is very interested in what you do.

this is me asking ab ur sol dimension characters :3c i want to hear ab them
MSJCJWJCJEF ohmy gosh thank you for asking that’s so nice sndjsjdjd uH so i’ve already made a post about my sol-shadow n sol-amy, but i have also made a sol-knuckles (she’s also a mix of sonic too since blaze herself is a mix of sonic n knuckles), a sol-silver, sol-chaotix, and sol-rouge!!! oH and i’m also in the beginning stage of makin’ a sol-cream and sol-big lmao AND and i have kind of an idea for a sol-eggman given that eggman-nega’s actually a descendant of eggman n not his sol dimension counterpart.
i have no idea where to even start so i’ll just give like a synopsis of them?? i’m sorry this is so long u don’t have to read it all
- sol-knuckles name is mittens and she’s a dog!! she is a nomad who’s super strong like knuckles n i’m thinking of giving her aerokinesis (air/wind powers) to match with blaze’s pyrokinesis n marine being water themed. she doesn’t know where she came from or why she’s so strong but she doesn’t want to know ‘cause she doesn’t want a past to live up to. she wants to wander the world and help people nonviolently but she tends to end up having to fight anyway.
- sol-silver’s name is sterling n i’m not sure what animal she is yet! she’s definitely gonna be a very fluffy animal, either a type of cat or an arctic fox. she isn’t from the future, but she gets visions of the future!! the visions are more like her consciousness gets transported into the future, where she she can interact with and be seen by the people there for a short time. i’m thinkin’ she probably gains the ability after some incident with a sol emerald, rather than just being born with the ability, n when she first gets them, the future she sees is a bad one. sterling tries to ignore the visions, convince herself they aren’t real or that she doesn’t care, and avoids other people because the visions causes problems with socialising in multiple ways. i’m thinkin’ once she hears about blaze’s adventures in another dimension, she thinks that blaze might possibly believe her about her visions since she’s already familiar with something as bizarre as alternate dimensions. sterling is awkward, cowardly, has no social skills, n assumes she isn’t valuable to anyone other than for her ability :(
- sol-vector doesn’t have a name yet, n i think she’ll be a tortoise! i don’t think the chaotix will still be detectives in the sol dimension, but idk what else they’d be yet, but i’d want them to work for the sol empire in some way. sol-vector’s a huge fan of classical music n she tries way too hard to be all serious and formal n calm at all times but fails a lot because of her associates n poor patience for them. she’s very organised and does everything all properly like a total square sjfjsjfjd she tends to get mocked for this or her efforts are simply ignored by sol-espio. she’s also so awkward with kids n has no idea how to be a parental figure, even though she kinda is one
- sol-espio also has no name yet but she’s a toad!! at first i had her be a sumo wrestler, but i’m starting to think in order for her fighting style to be similar to og-espio’s in terms of mostly using projectiles but also have her be something that’s kinda the opposite sentiment of a ninja, i think i might make her a cowboy! also i love cowboys so 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ sol-espio is loud, overeager, constantly looking for any excuse to fight or do anything other than sitting around, and is typically sarcastic towards people out of pure fun. she never takes anything seriously, much to sol-vector’s dismay
- sol-charmy doesn’t have a name yet either and i’m leaning towards her being a spider. i’m currently deciding if i want her to be goth or emo, but i do know i want her to b something that’s typically about being introspective n emotional n deep, n i think both subcultures fit that. sol-charmy is quiet, insightful, n tends to wander off and away from people in her own comfortable world, which sol-vector tends to let her do unless it’s unsafe for her to go off on her own. she doesn’t really enjoy interacting with people except for sol-vector and sol-espio, n she’s always a lil on edge. she always has a notebook that she writes or draws in n doesn’t show anyone
- sol-rouge is a barn owl! i haven’t quite figured out what his ‘job’ is. he’s definitely a thief of some kind but idk if it’s like a robin hood situation or if he too just likes gems. i also dunno if he’ll have a secret agent thing going on like og-rouge? ‘cause his personality is the opposite of her, he’s completely and extremely honest at all times and does NOT like talking to people. he’s got no charisma, most people find him unpleasant since he doesn’t think twice about telling you things he doesn’t like about you or that he’d rather be anywhere else, which doesn’t really work if you wanna be a spy. however, he is extremely selfless and never really does anything in his own self interest.
- and lastly, sol-eggman! i haven’t drawn any sort of design for her yet nor have i really gotten around to figuring out her personality, but i think i want her to be some sorta monkey since that’s what humans are closest to, and i do know that her attempts at taking over the world would be much more stealthy compared to og-eggman who wants everyone to know that he’s attacking. she’s gonna have chlorokinesis (basically nature/plant powers which has a few different names) to match with the seemingly elemental theme blaze’s dimension seems to have, and also to be the opposite of og-eggman’s use of machinery n manmade objects. i also want her to be able to create plant creatures with sentience so i can make a sol-omega sjfjejfje
thank you for indulging me, i hope that made sense, i’m so sorry there’s so much words, and if you read all that you are incredible <3

a sonic rush rewrite, inspired by my paper crown au (in which blaze’s backstory is a little bit different as implied/stated in the fic below). been listening to “pretending” by alec benjamin for the past hour while writing this lol hope this is a good one. ANYWAY (there’s no way i’m editing this now, it’s past 1am)
------------------------------------
She’s laying on the cold hard ground, her ragged breaths serve as the only thing that fight off the otherwise utter silence. The only thing that can be heard. That, and the voice inside her head, reminding her of how she failed to fight, to keep people away from her.
Her duty, her curse, her burden. How could she trust anyone else when she could barely trust herself with it?
Next thing she hears are footsteps. Slow and careful but determined, clanking against the metallic surface. She tenses upon realizing what it means. The person is appraoching her. He is there, he is real. The battle was real. The battle between them actually happened. Her breath catches on her throat. It shouldn’t have happened, she shouldn’t be using her curse at the expense of others.
Her view of the stars and the upper floor of the building that she paid no mind to until now are quickly blocked by a hedgehog, whose name she knew very well but would rather forget. He looks at her carefully, the small, reassuring and hopeful smile he was wearing until now quickly replaced by concern as he watches her abruptly sit up and shuffle backwards. She remains mindful of her environment, since she doesn’t want to possibly fall of the edge of the ledge.
“Hey.” He walks closer despite that, raising his hands to indicate he doen’t have bad intentions. “Not bad. Can you stand up?” he smiles as he offers her his hand, while leaning forward, not invading her personal space.
She can’t stand up. And it isn’t because of how badly she is beat up; she will overcome the injuries sooner or later. But it is the view in front of her that renders her helpless. She scrutnizes him, from head to toe, and a pained gasp escapes her. He seems pretty banged up too. The burn marks cover a good chunk of his fur and she knows a few of those will leave scars as well. Her throat tightens and she opens her mouth to say something but she doesn’t have the courage to. Just like back then, she hurt someone. This time, she did it while fully conscious. It was a decision she made. Why? Why did she have to resort to this? Why did she need to use her curse against him? What if she had hurt him in a much worse way?
Despite it all, he is smiling. As if he doesn’t mind the scars or the pain. As if nothing can bring him down. Even if she burned him to ashes, he would find a way to rise again, she is sure. The hope in his eyes is unmistakable, something she hasn’t noticed in years. Admirable even.
She gulps and blinks rapidly, clearing her vision that had been blurred out without realizing. “I must-” she croaks out. “...I must get the Sol Emeralds.” She turns her head to the side, unable to look into his eyes anymore. “I must...” She must find them and retrieve them to leave this world.
To protect this world from a catastrophic disaster that her own kingdom had to suffer through thanks to them. Thanks to her.
No one had to get hurt. No one else. Sonic is already hurt and she hates it. She hates herself. She hates the idea of putting anyone else in danger beacuse of her flames, of her burden and curse. So, she has to leave as soon as possible. Find the Emeralds and stay away from them until she finds the way to leave this dimension.
“A bit overzealous, aren’t we?” Sonic snaps her back to reality.
He’s still there, waiting for her to accept his offer, his helping hand. He should have kicked her out of the ledge by now, he should have taken his revenge for what she did to him and get everything over with, but he didn’t. He waited patiently. His smile softens a bit more, it saddens almost, as a single thought crosses his mind. She doesn’t have the time to question it though, as a newfound grin adorns his expression.
“Listen, don’t bite off more than you can chew.” He steps forward and she doesn’t dare to flinch. “And be yourself.”
She wants to laugh at him. Herself. She’s lost herself ages ago, a part of her burned into ashes along with her kingdom on that cursed day. But maybe...maybe a part of her was still there, the part of her that was fighting to keep both worlds safe.
‘Carrying the entire world on your shoulders?’
The memory feels so distant even though it’s just from a few minutes ago. Sonic seemed more...agressive, as if he tried to get his point across by all means necessary. Even if they were in the middle of their fighting, he still attempted to reason with her. Whatever he did -- jumping into this battle, trying to talk her out of it, to convince her of the best course of action without hurting her -- he did it for her, to make her realize that a feat like that is impossible, that she can’t carry the world on her shoulders, much less two worlds, all on her own.
She eyes his hand and reluctantly reaches for it. She doesn’t know what this action means but she hopes she doesn’t regret it later, like she already regrets their battle. They meet halfway and Sonic uses both his hands to hold hers, nodding at her, almost like he thanked her for accepting his help. And he does help her to get up.
She manages to sit up straight, ignoring the throbbing pain that overtook her body. Sonic steps back, taking her with him, leading her slowly away from the edge she was sitting close to. Step by step, they reach a safe distance and he lets go of her hand, just to quickly outstretch his arms around her, to prevent her fall in case she hasn’t fully recovered yet.
“Perhaps...” she speaks and she startles him, but he nods to let her continue. “Perhaps you’re right.” She admits, an image of Cream momentarily flashing in her mind. Her eyes widen at that. She is afraid. Afraid to approach people, call them her friends. But....”I can rely on friends. If I let myself...”
It doesn’t mean much, she tries to convince herself. She said it to convince Sonic and get it over with as fast as possible so she can leave. She can’t afford to have any friends, not at their own expense. How could anyone be her friend when there always was the risk that she would burn them? How could someone want to be friends with her after injuring them?
“Great.” a tooth bearing grin appears on his muzzle as he steps even closer to her, relaxing his arms before offering his hand again. “I am Sonic. Sonic the Hedgehog. It’s nice to meet you.”
She squints at him, as if that would help her answer the questions that were multiplying by the second in her head. One thing she knows for sure is that this guy sure has a fun idea of a ‘nice meeting’.
At that thought, she smiles, slightly, but she does as she grasps his hand, giving it a firm handshake. “I-I’m Blaze the Cat. It’s nice to meet you too.”
And if Sonic’s grin turns even bigger, Blaze doesn’t think too much of it, too caught up in looking inside his emerald eyes to analyze what it meant, if it meant anything at all.
